Chapter Text
It was close to the perfect sort of day if not for the thunder clouds brewing on the far eastern horizon line like great blue-grey giants slowly lumbering towards them. Crash leaned against the weather-worn rails of the old barn wood fence, her eyes trained on those clouds over fields of rolling green and gold speckled with the arms of tree trunks reaching skeletal skyward, watching the far-off but slowly approaching storm.
“I’d say we’ve got ‘till about sundown before that reaches us.” She said rather matter of fact as she brought her dwindling cigarette to her lips, usually painted bright red looked to only sport the sheen of balm and nothing more.
Lupin, who had been more so watching Crash’s form as she watched the sky, standing slightly behind her and to the side gave him a good view of the way her spine curved as she leaned on the rails pushing her chest forward and her ass back.
Drawn now by the soft tone of her voice as she spoke he turned his attention to the sky and squinted at the clouds so far off in the distance that he barely even noticed them against the bright blue of the sky.
“I reckon you might be right, partner.” He said back, letting his words stretch to a southern twang in a light tease to the way Crash spoke when she was thinking about something else. Low and drawn out with honied warmth gleaned from a youth spent on Texan airfields at her parents’ hips. The accent bleeding out over the years to the gliding tones of the north where she spent most of her adult life, round and cheerfully melodic.
Crash looked at him from the corner of her eye and blew a stream of smoke that matched the blue-grey of the gathering storm clouds towards the heavens as she reversed her lean over the fence to rest her back against it instead. Her void dark eyes were now laser-focused on him as they swept from Lupin’s wide grin down to the patent leather of his shoes and back up again.
She didn’t look impressed.
Lupin smiled and clasped his hands in front of him, rocking back on a heel in a half bow before spreading his hands open as if to say, ‘ I’m only joking, no need to be mad. ’
Crash might have possessed the greatest amount of composure while simultaneously expressing the strongest sense of emotion of anyone he’d ever seen in his life and he had seen a lot. There was an insidious way to how the corner of her lips curled up as she pushed off the fence and in a smooth movement crushed out her cigarette on the heel of her boot and tucked the crumpled filter into her pocket.
She seemed to be appeased by the gesture and as she walked past him she clapped him on the shoulder with good-natured heft. Lupin turned his back on the storm to follow the sway of Crash’s hips towards the open double doors of the barn.
“Come on now, let’s go see the others.” She hummed, beaconing him as if he weren’t already following her like a puppy on a lead.
Lupin’s heart was starting to hammer away in his chest and he could feel his skin prickling around his neck and wrists where his clothes pinched tighter against him. He blamed the feeling on the sun above them instead of the true root of his behavior and why he was there.
As they crossed the barrier into the interior of the barn he was met with the earth warm air and the sweet scent of fresh hay that was underlined with the lived in fragrance of animals. Her stables were immaculate, floors swept and power washed regularly and free of the heavy layer of dust that was present in most barns Lupin had been into. It was a simple construction, eight stalls, a feed room and a storage room. All split evenly by a wide hall that opened on either end by double rolling doors that were open now to let the fresh air inside.
Above his head there were strands of straw and hay poking through the boards, he noted the hatch near the storage room and he reasoned above them was a loft. Lupin knew there were three horses that resided on the property but none of them were currently in their stalls, all of them out to pasture and enjoy the pleasant weather. The only animal in sight was a plump orange cat sleeping comfortably on a bail of hay tucked against the side of the hall.
There was just something pleasant about being here, like time had slowed down to a snail's crawl and nothing mattered outside of this bubble that Crash’s ranch created. He understood now after having been here a few times, why Goemon and then Jigen had been so easily swayed to her side. Privately Lupin wondered if Crash might truly be a witch, it wouldn’t be that outlandish, and the way she acted it would explain a lot.
He followed along at her side, having to slow his pace to keep a half step behind her, his hands in his pockets as he looked around the inside of the barn. It felt brighter when he exited onto the well-worn dirt path that was lined with gated fences leading to different pastures. Far off at the very end he could see the horses with their heads down in the tall grass grazing, black and white and roan blobs in a sea of ruddy green waves tossed by the gentle breeze.
Crash stopped at the second furthest gate from the barn and unlatched it, swinging it inwards and leaving it propped open. This pasture backed onto her backyard and he could see another gate installed on that side giving Crash an easy path to get inside. It was more an extension of her backyard than a pasture for her horses and didn’t think he’d ever seen a trace of them in there.
That was made more evident by the grass that brushed above the tops of his knees bent in places where it had been trodden down by foot traffic. The tops of the stalks tipped with fuzzy brushes that bobbed and swayed in the wind. A little ahead of them nestled down in the grass he could see two shapes tucked down and he squinted to try and get a better view. Behind him he heard something being moved around and Lupin looked over his shoulder to see Volley dropping down the hatch in the barn and start climbing the fold down stairs.
“Jigen!” Crash called out and one of the shapes shot up to attention before raising up to all fours and stretching out in a bow that ended with a shake.
Lupin couldn’t stop the heat from prickling over his shoulders and up his neck as Jigen stumbled a half step and then trotted forward on all fours with a skill Lupin figured must have taken ages to perfect. Normally he was more dressed up but today he only wore a simple shirt and shorts, tight enough to not get caught up but still comfortable. Around his chest was his harness and his gunmetal grey collar was fastened around his neck. Today his hands were only wrapped for support and his fingers were left free.
It seemed Jigen was just lounging and enjoying the day.
Jigen came to Crash’s heels and she gave his head a pat and crouched down, pulling out a bottle of water from the deep pockets of her vest and unscrewing the cap. With her slender fingers she gently held Jigen’s chin and tipped the bottle to his lips to give him a drink. Softly muttering praise the entire time and giving him a thorough pet when he was finished and she’d tucked the bottle away.
It felt a little weird for Jigen to hardly acknowledge him, not that it was unusual when he was playing as Crash’s dog. He took the loyalty he showed Lupin in the field and thoroughly applied it to this game. Lupin wasn’t exactly sure of the appeal, run and jump and do tricks to get treats and praise. Sometimes they didn’t even end up having sex and their weekends were just extended rigorous training sessions that they came home from tired but the good kind. That didn’t seem very sexy to Lupin who was a little more into the instant gratification side of things when it came to pleasure.
He wasn’t surprised by any of this, the whole pet play thing, it wasn’t like he lived in a grave and he’d seen more than his fair share of things he considered strange even by his standards. So when Crash had finally extended him an invitation to join her at her ranch, not to play but just to relax and observe, he had been curious enough to accept. After all, if something could get both Goemon and Jigen so interested he wanted to know what it was all about.
It hadn’t taken him long to understand the aesthetic draw of it after he’d seen Goemon all tacked up in his full pony suit, the leather shining under the sun and the well-polished buckles and clasps gleaming. Goemon’s natural grace and agility only helped him to achieve an easy sort of movement even with the restraint of the hoof boots holding his feet in a punishing arch. That was enough though to solidify him coming back the next time when Jigen joined them and Crash showed off all the tricks Jigen could do in his full puppy gear. The warm brown of the leather crossing Jigen’s skin lead his eyes over his naked frame and he was completely sunk.
Lupin couldn’t help but be curious and every time he came to sit on the outdoor portion of her living room which may as well have been called a porch and sip cool drinks with either Volley or Crash while the other worked with the pet out in the field he wondered what the draw was. He could understand to a certain extent and the last time they had gotten together Crash had offered to let him try it out.
That had turned out to be more informative than eye-opening, she had Volley help as they went through some basic things, explaining halters and grooming and how to stand in cross ties, the basics of what they did. He felt like he was in school and somewhere halfway through he had tuned out the sound of Crash’s voice and started thinking about his next heist. It had been a fun day but Lupin wasn’t sure that walking around on a lead in essentially high heels over uneven ground was his idea of fun.
Nothing works out the first time, he reminded himself, which wasn’t always true but it was a good rule to stave off career crushing disappointment every now and then.
So now he was back after having told Crash he was ready to step it up a notch, he was honest that he was curious but wasn’t really seeing the allure like Goemon and Jigen were. Crash was a good sport and had agreed to let him give it another shot more seriously. They hadn’t quite gotten to that part yet though and now with Jigen at their side as they got closer to the other form masked by the grass.
By now it had risen to reveal Goemon in the lighter version of his pony gear, feet bound in hoof boots and arms crossed behind his back in leather bindings. A harness crossed over his pecks up to a thick collar around his neck that helped secure the bridal around his head. Blinders fastened to the side and in place of the metal bit they occasionally used there was a thick rubber one.
As they got closer and he could see more of his friend sitting in a flattened patch of grass he noticed the strappings around his hips and the cock ring fasted in place. So it was one of those sorts of days, that bode well for him.
“He’s so handsome.” Crash cooed, crouching down again to rustle his hair and fuss over his bridal for a moment making red crawl over Goemon’s cheeks and down over his chest. He really was adorable when he was shy.
“For sure.” Lupin agreed, letting himself be sincere.
From back at the barn they heard Volley call out for Crash to give him a hand and she looked up at Lupin with a sigh.
“Keep an eye on him will you?” Crash said as she straightened back up, “I’ve gotta help him, the damn cabinet keeps getting jammed shut.”
Lupin blinked looking between Goemon and Crash and back again, surprised at the sudden responsibility being put on him.
“Oh, yeah sure.” Lupin nodded, “Did you need any help?”
He figured it was polite to offer at the very least and Crash sighed, shaking her head.
“No, damn thing just needs two sets of hands to pop open, I need to get it fixed.” Crash shrugged, turning heel and jogging out of the pasture back towards the stable, “Jigen!”
The dog that had been patiently waiting perked up and darted off after Crash, looked like she had help if she needed it anyway.
For a moment he just stood there looking back at her before turning his attention to Goemon who was still crouched in the grass now desperately avoiding eye contact with him and positively burning up with blush. Crash would probably be gone for a little while and besides, she wouldn’t have left him out here knowing him as she did and not expect him to ignore this display in front of him.
“Hey, Goemon.” Lupin purred as he kneeled down next to him and Goemon trembled when his hand splayed against his chest and he looked startled as Lupin pushed him back down.
Around the bit Goemon huffed but he looked unsure of what was happening and if it was allowed, Crash gave him a lot of challenges and as far as he was aware this could be one of them. He was allowed to bow out if he ever got too uncomfortable but this was Lupin and even though he was embarrassed to be seen like this it was also arousing. He was already aching hard and restricted by the cock ring tightened at its base. The steady vibrating of the dildo buried deep inside of him and held in place by the trapping around his hips had been steadily driving him mad for the better part of a day, or at least it felt like it. He hoped Lupin didn’t think it was weird that he enjoyed being bound up in a continuous state of arousal for hours at a time.
Jigen didn’t think it was weird that’s why he was here keeping an eye on him, the guard dog patiently laying nearby ready to help out if anything happened or he needed anything and ready to alert Crash at the slightest sign of trouble. Besides, Volley had just been in the barn tidying the storage room so none of them were really alone.
Lupin was between his thighs now and he looked at him with wide eyes, the blinders blocking out his surroundings and filling his vision with only Lupin and his bright red jacket as he wrapped his long fingers around his cock and stroked the heated flesh in achingly slow strokes.
“Poor guy, all riled up with no one to take care of you.” Lupin cooed, leaning closer in and wrapping his lips around the swollen head of his cock, the fresh sensation making Goemon flinch and buck under him.
The action only brought a chuckle from Lupin as he sank further down, the soft press of his tongue sliding over his length had Goemon whimpering and struggling to stay still as the ring around the base of his cock kept him from cumming. His breath was hot and heavy around the bit in his mouth, saliva running from the corners his mouth and forming bubbles that splattered over his cheeks as he panted.
Around this time Lupin realized there was a slight give to the harness on his hips and as he sucked him deep into the heat of his mouth he started to pump the dildo in and out of him with the few inches of room he was able to move it.
The multitude of sensations flooding through his body was becoming overwhelming and Goemon could feel tears starting to sting the corners of his eyes and he squinted to try and blink them away as Lupin slowed down, pulling back with a teasing lick.
“You want to cum so badly, don’t you.” Lupin hummed and Goemon gave a sharp nod, “Let’s get this off you then.”
At that Goemon frantically shook his head, the whites of his eyes visible with alarm and Lupin smirked.
“Aw, did Crash say you’re not allowed until she says so?” He teased making Goemon nod shyly only making Lupin laugh at how adorable he looked when he was flustered like this.
He was just reaching to undo the mechanism when a shiver shot up his spine, the type that said he wasn’t alone and there was a gun to his head. He didn’t really believe in auras but he certainly felt something and it sent his heart racing with adrenaline and fear.
