Chapter Text

You made your way out of the castle. You were here for a funeral. Your fathers former wife. Daemon had always been devoted to your mother Rhaenyra. You were born nine summers ago. They made quite the scandal when Daemon set aside his lawful wife for Rhaenyra. Rhaenyra set aside her lawful husband for Daemon. You walked along the beach. You couldn’t stand being around all these people. You smiled as your young dragon made his way to you. He landed next to you. You scratched his neck. You sank down in the comfort of his leathery wing. You and Hyperion were always together. His egg hatched the moment you rolled over in your crib and touched it. Everyone was amazed. An egg had never hatched that fast. You leaned your head back into Hyperions wing. He curled around you. You sighed. This was all you wanted. Just you and your dragon. You watched the waves crash against the stony shore. Hyperion raised his head. You looked over. It was your uncles. Aegon and Aemond. You smiled and rose from your spot. You and Aemond were the same age. You both were born within a day of each other. You’ve always had a soft spot for Aemond. He was always mercilessly teased by your brothers and his brother. Aegon looked up at your dragon.
“He’s gotten big.”
“He has.” You responded.
“What’s his name?” Aemond asked looking at him in awe. You smiled.
“Hyperion.” You responded looking to him. He was beautiful, his scales the color of an oil slick. His eyes one ruby red the other emerald green. He snorted smoke out of his nose.
Aemond reached out his hand and Hyperion extended his head. He allowed Aemond to stroke his neck.
“Soon enough I’ll have my own dragon.” Aemond said confidently.
“You wish.” Aegon said harshly. Aemond dropped his hand. You saw him deflate.
“You will have a dragon one day. You’ll have to close an eye, but you’ll get your dragon.” You said softly. Aegon shook his head. He turned and walked away.
“Can I stay? I want to be near Hyperion.”
“Of course, Uncle. I’d never refuse you.”
Aemond sank down in the sand. You sank back down in Hyperions’ wing.
“Is he a good dragon?” Aemond asked suddenly. You looked to him.
“He is a dragon. They are neither good nor bad. They are the way their riders are. Once you bond with a dragon, you take on aspects of their personality.”
“I want a dragon. I want to fly.”
“I could take you. Father knows I always fly Hyperion, I’m never far from him.”
“You would?”
“Of course.” You said, Aemond jumped to his feet and held out his hand. You took it and he helped you up. Hyperion dipped his head and lowered his wing joint. You climbed on first.
“Elaena! Come! Now!” You turned your head at your fathers voice.
“But father, I was going to take Aemond for a short flight.” You whined.
“Now.” He repeated. You scowled.
“Tomorrow Aemond. I promise.” You whispered to him as you climbed off the saddle.
“Tomorrow I will ride my own dragon.” He said confidently. He bowed to you and you tipped your head. You turned and followed your father. He led you back inside. You sank down in a chair next to Luke. You yawned.
“Sweet girl, perhaps you should head to bed?” You heard your Grandsire say. You nodded and made your way to your chambers. You pushed open the doors and sank down in the bed. You kicked off your shoes. You were tired. Your door opened quietly. It was Aemond.
“I’m going to claim Vhagar.” He whispered.
“Aemond, no she is too big.”
“I will have a dragon.” He said as he shut the door. You froze for a second. You wanted him to have a dragon but not Vhagar. She was big, and mean. You rose from your bed and made your way to the window. You pushed it open. You saw Aemond running across the beach. You climbed onto the roof and made your way down. You slipped slightly. You heard a roar. You turned and watched Vhagar take to the air. With Aemond on her back. You gasped. He did it. You saw Baela, Rhaena, Luke and Jace running across the beach. You hurried down. You hit the ground and started running. You heard shouting. You ran faster. You heard a scream and saw Aemond hit the ground. You rushed to his side.
“Back off! Leave him alone!” You screamed. You rolled Aemond over and gasped in horror. His eye. Oh Gods his eye. He had a nasty slash running alone the left side of his face, his eye was slashed. You brought your hands to your mouth as the guards rushed around. A knife flashed in front of your face. You pushed open a door. You watched as your father fell from the sky. Caraxes and Vhagar followed. You heard the dragons roar. You saw a silver haired man on the back of Vhagar, a sword through his eye.

You shot up from your bed. Breathing hard. You wiped your face with your hands. You were sweating again. Your chamber doors flew open. Rhaenyra dropped to your side.
“Another nightmare?” She asked softly.
You nodded. You shook your head. You leaned back onto the pillows. That was years ago. Why were you being plagued by dreams of your past?
“You want something to help you sleep?”
“No mother, I’ll be ok.” You said.
“We go to Kings Landing on the morrow.”
“I know.”
“Try to get some sleep.” She said softly. You nodded and rolled over. You felt the bed shift as she moved from the bed. You heard your door open and shut. You stared into the fire. This was going to be a long day. You knew you couldn’t get back to sleep.

You nestled onto Hyperions’ saddle. Your brothers climbed onto their dragons along with your mother and father. Hyperion batted his wings. He was bigger than Caraxes. You lifted into the air. You loved being on dragonback. There was nothing better. You flew high and fast. Arrax met you quickly. You held your arms out and closed your eyes. This was your heaven. You were complete here. You knew the flight would be short. It was too short. You saw the keep in the distance. Your hands fell to your chains at your waist. You leaned to the right and Hyperion rolled, tucking his wings. You laughed as you spun. Hyperion straightened. You laughed again as you landed him. Your father shook his head at you. You smiled. He came up to you.
“You know you make your mother worry when you do things like that.” He said sternly.
“I am perfectly safe on his back father. You know that. So does she.” You folded your hands and followed your father to the keep.
“Elaena? Want to walk the training yard with us?” Luke asked. You smiled.
“Sure.” You said as you followed them. They led the way. You weren’t very familiar with Kings Landing. Last time you were here you were eight. You walked down the stone steps, Jace and Luke hurried off to explore. Men and women surrounded some men who were training. You glanced over. You walked over and watched as a tall dark haired man slammed his weapon into a sliver haired man’s shield. You sucked in a breath. The man rose tossing his shield, he rolled through another swing and your breath left your lungs. It was Aemond. You were mesmerized by his movements. Gone was the shy quiet boy you used to know. The boy that was broken and bloody. The man that stood before you was stunning, bold, deadly and fierce. He easily disarmed the dark haired man. His gaze flicked to Jace and Luke.
“Nephews come to train?” He turned his gaze to you.
“Niece. You look more beautiful than ever.” His gaze raked over your form.
“My how you’ve grown.” He purred. You felt your heart race. You had no clue how to react. His gaze pierced you.
“Open the gates!” A guard yelled. Aemond turned his attention to the gates as Vaemon Velaryon walked in. Aemond smiled slightly. Vaemond dipped his head to you and you returned the gesture. Aemond twirled a sword, he turned his focus back to you.
“Come to train? Or to watch?”
“What makes you think I’ve come to train?” You asked softly. He stepped closer to you. His fingers ghosting your waist. He yanked the dagger you kept on the small of your back from its spot. You felt a shiver run up your spine. You raised your eyes to his
“This. You any good with it?” He whispered in Valyrian.
“Give it back and find out.” You said in Valyrian lifting an eyebrow.
“My Prince.” A knight called out. Aemond looked over his shoulder. He nodded.
“Come, let’s see how good you are.” He said twirling your dagger back to you. You took it. You made your way across from him. He bounced from one foot to the other. You let out a breath. He tossed the shield he was holding. You knew he was underestimating you and you were fine with it. You blew out a breath as he moved forward. You slid to the side and he rightened himself quickly. You shifted as he came forward again, you side stepped him and he growled. He looked over at you.
“I won’t hurt you.” You said smiling. He darted forward, you stayed still until the last second, you used his body to climb up on him, you slammed your knees to his chest, he fell backwards, you still on his chest. You placed your dagger under his chin and raised his face to yours. He smirked. He rolled and pinned you underneath him, you wrapped your legs around his waist and pulled him to the side. He growled. You smirked back at him as you pulled another dagger from your sleeve.
“You have grown.” He whispered. You leaned over, your lips brushing his ear.
“So have you.” You whispered back. You unwrapped your leg from around his waist and he rose. He held out his hand and you accepted it. A knight walked forward.
“Ser Cole. Princess Elaena.” Aemond said as he took a few breaths. Ser Cole dipped his head. You nodded and sheathed your dagger. You nodded to Aemond as you turned to walk away. You heard footsteps behind you.
“Sister, what was that?” Jace asked snagging your arm, you yanked your arm from him.
“What was what?” You asked tossing your head. Jace looked at you.
“You could have been hurt.”
“I wasn’t. You think my father would allow me to be defenseless?” You bit out as you walked away from him. Luke shook his head.
You made your way into the Keep. Queen Alicent came forward and you curtsied. She smiled and took your hands.
“How was the flight?”
“It was fine, it was short.”
“Oh, sweet girl, why are you dirty?” She asked and you looked down. Your riding pants and shirt had dirt and mud on them. You smiled.
“Aemond asked me to spar with him.”
“And you did?”
“Yes Your Grace.” You answered as you saw Otto enter the room.
“Did he hurt you?” She asked looking over you.
“No, Your Grace.” She smiled. She looped your arm into hers and led you upstairs. She stopped at a large dark door.
“These are your chambers. Helaenas chambers are the next door down.”
“I haven’t seen her in ages.” You said smiling.
“You are not much like your mother are you?” She asked softly.
“What do you mean?”
“I loved your mother, I’ve tried to mend old wounds with Rhaenyra, it never healed. Yet you, treat us all here with respect, even love.”
“My parents problems are not mine, Your Grace.”
“Sweet girl, they may be soon enough.”

Aemond tried to focus on the book he wasn’t reading. He couldn’t. He growled and slammed it shut. He pushed away from the desk and leaned back in his chair. Elaena. She was on his mind. He didn’t know why. His mind just kept pulling her to focus. He sighed heavily. He stared out the window of his chambers. He flexed his hands. His thoughts entwined around her. The way she felt on top of him. He growled and stood. Gods, she was invading him. The bitches daughter. He leaned against the table. He swallowed. He squeezed his eye shut. She appeared in his vision. Her long silver hair. He thought about how she felt underneath him, her thighs wrapping around his waist. He slammed his fist into the table. He growled again. He remembered how her breasts rose and fell, the way her head was tossed back, her lips parted. He sank down in the chair and palmed himself. He had grown hard thinking of her. He pushed his hand into his pants and leaned his head back. He thought of her. The way she felt underneath him. He untied his pants and continued to stroke himself. He would have her. No one would deny him. He would have her or he would burn those who kept him from her.

You sank into the brass tub of hot water. It was late but you didn’t care. The water felt good on your sore muscles. You had a bruise on your hips from Aemonds hands. You traced them. You smiled as you thought of how he felt on top of you, how he felt when you squeezed your thighs around his waist. The way he looked down at you, breathing heavy. His hair messy. Then you rolled your eyes.
“Get a hold of yourself girl.” You said softly. You weren’t here for yourself. You took a deep breath and pushed your head under the water. You rose quickly, breaking the waters surface, the cold air stung your face, the steam rose off your skin. You took a deep breath. You opened your eyes, rising out of the water and stepped out of the tub. You wrapped a towel around you and sank down into a chair. You looked into the fire. You twisted water out of your hair. You pinned your wet hair up and slipped into your nightgown. You padded onto the balcony. You sank down in a chair and gazed out across the courtyard. You saw a figure standing on their own balcony. They quickly went inside. You lifted a pitcher and poured some wine. Your doors opened and your handmaiden appeared.
“Princess?” She called out.
“Over here, Alyssa.” You called out softly.
“You’ve dressed.”
“Yes. Can you answer a question for me?”
“I can try Princess.”
“Who’s room is that?” You asked gesturing towards the room with your chalice.
“Prince Aemonds’.” She answered softly. You nodded.
“You may go.” You said looking to her. She bowed her head and left.
“So, the Sapphire Prince of House Targaryen, wants to play?” You whispered softly. You had no doubt in your mind he was watching you, then left when you caught him. You smirked to yourself. You could play a few games with him. It might be fun.

Aemond settled back down in his chair. She had came out while he was watching her. He didn’t want her to know he was watching her. He was very interested in her. Especially now since he saw her bare. Her smooth skin, her body toned by years of training. He rolled his shoulders. He had already spent himself thinking of her. He would remember what she looked like for later. She laid down on the couch, bringing her legs over the arm of it. She tipped the chalice into her mouth. Then closed the book. She went behind her wooden partition and raised her nightgown. Aemond growled. She knew he was watching her. He rose and slipped into his room. She wanted to play. So did he. Except she didn’t know, he was the hound, she was the hare. He would get her.

You glanced over your shoulder. Aemond was gone and you smirked. You made your way back to your bed. You nestled into the sheets. You won this round, you thought. You pulled a pillow close to you and tried to fall asleep. You couldn’t. You didn’t want to have another nightmare. You buried your face in the pillow. You lifted your left leg and extended your right one. This was more comfortable. If you couldn’t fall asleep you would just do want you usually did. Go to Hyperion. You tossed. You blew out a breath and ripped your nightgown off. You pulled on a clean shirt and clean riding pants. You pulled on your socks and boots. You tossed your cloak around your shoulders. You made your way to your balcony. You didn’t see Aemond. You lifted yourself up onto the bannister, you swung your legs over and climbed down the side of the keep. You dropped the last few feet to the courtyard. You pulled your hood up and walked out quickly. You exited the keeps gates. You made your way to the Mud Gate. You walked down the beach. You heard Hyperion singing. You smiled, you saw his dark form in the distance. You walked quicker. You saw him lift his head to you. You smiled. You finally reached him. You pressed your hand to his nose, he snorted. You ran your hand down his neck and pressed your forehead to his jaw. He chuffed and you sank down next to his wing. You stayed with him, watching the moon rose higher and the waves crashed against the shore. Hyperion suddenly raised his head and growled. You lifted your head, Hyperion coiled around you.
“Elaena?” You heard Aemond call out.
“What are you doing here?” You asked stepping out of Hyperions’ protective wing.
“Came to find you. Saw you leave the keep.”
“Watching me now?” You asked as you stepped closer to him. He lowered his head.
You reached up and lowered the hood of his cloak. You smiled up at him. He looked to Hyperion, he held out his hand. Hyperion stretched his neck out and allowed Aemond to touch him. Aemond smiled. He stroked Hyperions neck. He snorted out smoke.
“I remember him when we were children.” Aemond said softly.
“I did promise to take you for a ride.”
“Your father refused that quickly.”
“He did.” You said nodding. You looked over at him. You grinned.
“He can’t refuse now.” You said softly.
“No, I couldn’t. You shouldn’t be out here alone.” He said turning his face to you.
“I’m not alone. I have Hyperion, and you to protect me.” You whispered.
“Hm.”
You laughed at his response. He leveled his gaze on you. You pushed back a lock of your hair. He reached his hand up and picked up another stray lock. He smiled softly. You gazed up at him. He dropped your hair.
“What?” You asked softly.
“Nothing.”
“Tis something.” You whispered stepping closer to him. You felt him tense. You smiled to yourself. He brought his eye to yours.
You felt his fingers ghost yours. He laced his fingers into yours. You looked down at your hand. It looked so small in his hand. You brought your gaze back to him. He pulled you forward. You pressed your other hand to his chest. You watched as his bottom lip trembled. He dropped his head to yours and your breath caught in your throat, you raised up on your tiptoes. Hyperion roared loudly. Aemond stepped away from you quickly, his hand leaving yours. You turned. You saw torches in the distance, guards, a lot of them.
“Aemond you need to get out of here now.”
“No.” He growled turning towards the guards. Your father was at the front of them. You dropped your head.
“Princess, you need to come with us.”
“Why are you out here?”
“I found your chambers empty and I knew you would come out here.” Daemon said as he walked forward. He gave Aemond a cold look.
“Why are you out here?” He asked his voice icy. You stepped between them.
“I was trying to take Hyperion out for a flight. Aemond stopped me.” You said quickly.
“Elaena, come now.” He said harshly. You walked beside him. He glanced over his shoulder. Aemond had yet to move.
“I’ve warned you about these people. Yet you run off with one?”
“That’s not what happened father. I left to ride Hyperion, Aemond saw me leave. He followed me to bring me back.”
“That’s not why he followed you.” Your father snapped. You lifted your head.
“I am not a child anymore. Stop treating me as such.” You snapped back. He gripped your arm and pulled you next to him. Aemond walked past, his gaze lingered on you for a split second. Daemon watched him leave.
“We’ve come to a dangerous place. These people hate us, which means you. They desire the throne.”
“And you don’t?” You snapped. Daemon tensed. He looked around. Hyperion growled.
“We will speak in the morning. Once you slept.”
“I do not wish to speak with anyone.” You said as you pulled your arm from his grip. You walked forward. Back to the keep. Hyperion began to sing again.

Aemond paced in his chambers. She had touched him. Leaned into him. He sighed. His chamber doors opened and Alicent walked in. He turned to her. She crossed the room.
“I’ve heard a tale that you and Elaena disappeared off into the night.”
“Tis not what happened.” He said sharply.
“Then what happened?”
“I saw her leave the keep. I followed her. She went to the beach where her dragon was resting. I told her she needed to come back to the keep. It wasn’t safe for her out there alone. Then her father and half the City Watch came up.”
“You were trying to protect her?”
“She was the only one of them who showed me kindness. She was nice to me.” He admitted softly. Alicent smiled. Aemond looked at her. He tilted his head.
“Why are you smiling?”
“I will speak to your father. I will request that he formally betroths you to her.”
“Mother. That’s not wise.”
“Yes it is. You wed her, we get her and her dragon.”

“You will wed him and get him and his dragon to our side.” Your father said. You looked at him. You scoffed.
“You’re using me as a pawn? To marry someone who doesn’t want to marry me, just to get his dragon?”
“Vhagar is the largest dragon in the world. As long as she is bound to Aemond we must wed you to him.” Rhaenyra said.
“You will do your duty to your family.” Daemon said softly.
“Why me? I don’t know if you noticed lately but I’m fucked up. My dreams come true.”
“What have your dreams been showing you?”
“Death and pain.” You said softly.
“Who’s?”
“Yours, fathers, Aemonds.” You whispered.
“This is a way to prevent them. He joins our side. None of the pain or death will follow.”
You leaned back. You settled on the couch.
“Take time think about it.”

“Take time think about it.” Alicent said as she rose from the couch. Aemond nodded. She left the room and he shook his head. Pawns. He was a Prince yet he was being moved around like a pawn. Elaena was a Princess, also being moved around like a pawn. He growled and looked into the fire. He would not wed her for a plot or scheme. Yet he would do his duty and marry her. He couldn’t make her love him. But he could make her his wife. He raked his hand through his hair. She flashed in his mind. Her naked body rising out of the water. The way the steam rose off her body. He growled. He sank down in a chair. He leaned his head back and thought of her.

“Why would I betroth them? Aemond has not said anything to me about wanting to wed her.” Viserys said as he looked to his wife.
“She is the same age. This would be a way to mend old wounds my love.” Alicent said softly.
“I will speak with Aemond. If this is something he wants I will make it happen.”

You rose from bed and dressed. Your black riding pants and your black shirt. You tossed on your socks and boots. You sheathed your dagger, and placed it in your waistband at the small of your back. You tied your hair back and left your room. You passed Alicent in the hall. You gave her a small smile and continued. You made your way down the stairs and into the courtyard. You made your way through quickly and went down the stairs to the training yard.
“Princess.” You turned towards the voice. It was Ser Cole.
“Good morrow Ser.” You said smiling.
“Have you come to train? I do not think we have a suitable parter for you.”
You smiled. “You need not worry about me Ser. I am sure you will be more than suitable.”
“Princess?”
“You heard me. I promise I won’t hurt you.” You said as you stepped around him. You were handed a sword. You bounced. You blew out a breath. You looked at the sword and dropped it. Ser Cole came forward.

Aemond paused on the stairs to the training yard. He watched as Ser Cole sparred with Elaena. He leaned against the bannister, smiling as he watched her. She dropped to her knees as she ran, she slid underneath a swing from Cole, she rolled on the ground and lifted herself up. Aemond leaned further, he’d never seen that before. Her flexibility astounded him.
Cole came forward swinging again, she bent backwards and Aemond smiled. She brought her legs up over her head and landed with her legs splayed. She swept her left leg forward across the ground, Cole stumbled, she rose and kicked both of her feet into his chest. She rolled away and rolled up at the same time. Her laugher floated through the air. Cole charged. Elaena made him pay, she stepped up using his own knee and slammed her knee into his mouth. Cole dropped to one knee, she drew her dagger and held it at his throat. Aemond pushed off the bannister, he came down the stairs clapping.

You looked up at the sound of the clapping. It was Aemond. He was smiling. He came down the stairs. Ser Cole blew out a breath. He rose.
“If you’re done beating him up, would you care to go a few rounds with me?” Aemond asked.
“Why not?” You said smiling. Aemond took his spot in front of you. You bounced from one foot to the other. You noticed Aemond did the same. Aemond came forward and you sidestepped him. He came forward again and caught you. You wrapped your legs around his arm and tried to pull it to your chest. He didn’t give you any time. He lifted you and dropped you to the ground. You adjusted your hold. You wrapped your leg around his neck and squeezed. He dropped to a knee. You squeezed harder.
“Yield.” You said as you squeezed again.
“I yield.” He said and you released your hold.
You dropped to the ground, breathing hard, him laying next to you.
“Teach me that.”
“Will do.” You said smiling as you tried to breathe. Aemond rose from the ground and held out his hand you took it and he pulled you up. You rose. You and Aemond spent the morning and into the afternoon in the training yard. You sank down the stone wall, Aemond next to you. You both were out of breath.
“Where did you learn that?”
“Father knew a faceless man. He taught me.”
“It’s brutal. Shit hurts.” He said as he pulled out a water skein, he tipped it to his mouth then handed it to you.
“Try being nine and getting that beating.” You said as you tipped the skein to your mouth. Aemond laughed. You leaned into him. You caught your breath.
“I want to learn more. About how you fight.”
“It’s strangely intimate. I can teach you to snap your opponents arm, how to wield two swords. Tis how I was trained.” You said softly, you felt Aemonds fingers lace into yours. You smiled.
“We can train whenever you like.” He said with a smirk, you smiled up at him. You looked up to the sky. You brought your eyes back to him and he leaned closer. You wanted to feel his lips on yours. He was just inches away. He came closer. His hand cupped your chin.
“My Prince, Princess, the Queen requests your presence for supper.” Ser Cole said. You both separated quickly. Aemond nodded. You lifted away from him and Aemond rose, he held his hand out to you and you took it. He lifted you up from the ground. You laced your fingers in his and squeezed his hand gently. He kept his hand in yours as you made your way up the stairs and through the courtyard. You both dropped each other’s hands as you entered the keep. Alicent was standing waiting for you both.
“Gods! Look at you two. Why are you two filthy?” She asked coming forward.
“We were in the training yard mother.”
“Go to your chambers, bathe and join us for supper.” She said as she gestured up the stairs. You nodded and made your way upstairs. You quickly entered your bed chambers and pulled off your dirty clothes. You made your way to the water basin and dipped the cloth into it. You washed your face and arms. You didn’t realize how dirty you were. Gods. You were a mess. You dipped the cloth and washed your face again. You pulled a slip on. You quickly pulled your dress on. You ran your brush through your hair. You were going to need one good bath. You tied your hair back again and pulled on your shoes. You made your way back downstairs. Alicent smiled.
“I am happy you and Aemond spent the day together. I’ve heard, you wish to marry Aemond.” She asked softly.
“Your Grace.” You whispered back. Alicent looked around and pulled you into an empty room. She looked around and then took your hands. Her eyes searching yours.
“If you do not wish to marry him say so now. I fear if you do not, events may unfold and you both will get hurt and be bitter.”
“I..I wish to marry him because I care for him. Not because I am ordered too.”
“And you care for him?”
“I do.”
She nodded. She led you out of the room, she smiled.

You laid on the couch, you blew out an annoyed breath. Dinner was your family going through every noble house pulling out a Lord to marry. Marry this man or that man. It’s all you ever heard your whole life. All it did was piss you off. Aemond also. You wanted Aemond. You were falling quickly for him. You’d only been here less than a fortnight and you craved his touch. You’re needed to secure an alliance, you shook your head. You were a person not a fucking goat. You are a dragon. The dragon does not bow to the kraken, the wolf, the rose, or the lion. No they bow to you. You would make sure of that.

“Father?” Aemond asked as he poked his head into his fathers chambers. Viserys looked over.
“Aemond? Come! What is it?”
“I’ve…I’ve come to make a request.” Aemond said as he shut the door behind him. He crossed the room and sat in a chair opposite his father. Viserys looked over at him.
“What’s the request?”
“I would like to ask for Princess Elaena’s hand in marriage.”
“This is what you want? Not one of your Grandsires schemes?”
“Yes father. This is what I want. I care for her deeply.”
“I will discuss this with her parents. I will do my best to make it happen.”
“Thank you father.”
“Good night my son.”
“Good night father.” Aemond rose from the chair and left the room. His heart beat wildly. He wanted to marry her. She was all he could think about. He couldn’t imagine his life without her. He made his way to her bed chambers. He nodded to Ser Cole.
“I need to speak with the Princess.”
Ser Cole nodded. He opened her chamber doors and Aemond entered. Ser Cole entered behind him. Elaena looked over. She smiled and rose from the couch. Aemond walked over to her and laced his fingers in hers.
“I’ve made a formal request to my father. I’ve asked for permission for us to wed.”
“Oh. Is this what you want?” She asked looking up at him. He gave her a small smile. He turned and walked away. Ser Cole nodded to him as he closed her doors.
“You and her, would make a fine match. My Prince.” He said softly.
“Hm.” Aemond said as he walked away.
