The clock strikes 8:06, Jaehyun was up about 24 minutes earlier than when he decided to get up. Which he finds strange considering he was basically knocked out once his body gets caught between the bed sheets after their flight as a group from Korea to New York for The Link. Jaehyun doesn't complain, who knows when will be the next time he is able to get 12 hours of sleep?
Or it could just be the fact that he loves waking up to Taeyong a bit too much.
Eyes still half closed, he couldn't help but smile as he sees his hyung sleeping soundly, mouth slightly ajar. Though Taeyong was older Jaehyun can't help to find him adorable, too adorable. Well, after knowing each other for more than 10 years Taeyong was not just his hyung. But his partner, his soulmate, his past, present, future, and his fate (one thing jaehyun will never fail to bring up). It also made Jaehyun feel at ease seeing his hyung sleeping soundly after the latter's anxiety intensified last night that he will mess up or make fool out of himself at the concert. It always hurt Jaehyun's heart to see Taeyong push himself to the limits in order to do his very best. His only wish was to remove all the insecurities and anxieties his partner feels. So Jaehyun promises himself to always reassure Taeyong.
"You are so beautiful, yet so unaware," Jaehyun whispers to his partner before leaning in to kiss that rose-like scar near his eyes. He knows Taeyong can feel it as his partner slightly moves and groans.
"Wake up my love." Taeyong furrows his eyebrows, as he twists his body and faces his partner. He slowly opens his eyes, still adjusting to the sun rays penetrating the blinds. He yawns and flashes a small smile at Jaehyun. "Good morning baby." Jaehyun chuckles. As he watches his partner (with big heart eyes btw). He extends his arm as Taeyong jumps on him. Inhaling each other's scent, occasionally moving to be closer to each other though it looks impossible given how they were basically glued to each other.
"Ok, you have to get ready now." kissing taeyong's cheeks. Taeyong looks into Jaehyun's eyes and pouts, "are you sure you do not want to go?" Jaehyun intertwines their hands and gives them a slight squeeze, "I'll stay here and rest baby, I'm sorry. Why don't you stay here?", "You know I never say no to shopping, plus I want to spend time with the babies today." Jaehyun nods, "Understood, just don't spend too much, Ok?"
Taeyong scrunches his nose before nodding. "Do you want me to get you something though?"
Jaehyun hums, thinking of what Taeyong should get him, "Can you get me slippers", "Slippers?" Taeyong repeats with confusion. Jaehyun nods repeatedly, like a child finally being able to have ice cream after finishing their vegetables.
"Ok. I'll get my big baby some slippers." He pokes Jaehyun dimples, "did you want matching pajamas set with that too." Taeyong teases. Jaehyun fakes cry.
"Kidding, what style do you want baby?" Taeyong says as he packs his bags.
"Any, I like anything. correction, he likes anything taeyong gets him because it's from taeyong.

What seems like a long day of walking and window shopping. Taeyong can feel the fatigue kicking in
He also misses Jaehyun. And can't stop overthinking why he hasn't gotten a text from his lover.
Not until his phone finally bells and he practically jumps from his seat
He unlocks his phone and can't stop himself from blushing after he reads the text
"Meet me in chrome hearts? <3"
He doesn't even give a proper explanation to Doyoung, Mark, Haechan and just leaves the restaurant to meet his boyfriend, Jaehyun.
