“Hello everyone. I’m Mrs. Bustier and I’m the junior classes English teacher. Welcome to your first class on your first day of school. We are going to be doing a fun little get to know you activity. People in rows one, three, and five are going to turn around to the person behind you and that is going to be your partner for this. You guys are going to start by giving each other a compliment and get to know each other. That is going to help create a positive atmosphere in our class. Now go on, talk with your partner.” Everyone sighed at this, but did what she asked them to do.
Adrien turned around to see a gorgeous girl with deep blue bell eyes. She had on a pink, plaid dress and a mulberry cardigan partially covering it. Her navy blue hair was mostly tied up in the twin tails of either side of her head. She also seems to have bangs that framed her eyes, tucked neatly behind her ear. The last bit of hair that wasn’t tucked behind her ears, held back by a cute little ladybug hair pin. Looking at it he smirked with an idea popping into his head.
“Well aren’t I lucky. Now that I have spotted you, I’m never gonna forget your beauty.” The boy in front of Marinette said when she looked at him, with a playful grin on his face.
Marinette looked confused for a moment and eyed him incredulously. What the hell was this guy talking about? Right as she opened her mouth to question him, he said “By the way, I really like your hair pin.” he said in a way of explanation, pointing to the left side of her face, near her hairline. She reached her hand up to where she had a hair pin and remembered what it was that was in her hair and what he had said.
Eyes wide with the realization written across her face. “Wha- no.” she groaned. Looking in the eye of the boy in front of her, her face painted with shock. Annoyance seeping in, as time went on.
“Oh why yes.” He replied easily, grin widening when noticing the look in her eyes.
“Noooo” she groaned, letting her head fall into her hands, shaking her head at the same time. Did the guy that was going to be sitting in front of her for the rest of the year really have to have the same sense of humor as her dad?
He was enjoying this very much. “Yes indeed Milady.” Adrien said, voice trembling with amusement. His hand went up to cover the bottom half of his face to try and hide his mirth, but the light in his eyes gave him away.
The girl looked back up to Adrien with determination on her face. Straightening her posture and crossing her arms over her chest, her eyes harden into a glare while looking at him. A smirk was crawling its way up on his face again as she did this. Oh, this is going to be fun.
Marinette looked him up and down. She saw that despite his humor, his clothes were acceptable with a sage green v-neck and a black, loose fit blazer that has its sleeves rolled up to the elbows. Her eye catches on the neon green button with a black paw, pinned to the lapel. She can barely hold back her smirk as her eyes focus back to the boy and say “Well aren’t you the cats meow?”
Adrien’s smile turned confused because how would she know to make a cat pun. He was very pleased with the fact that in spite of her previous display, she was still willing to give it back to him, but why cats?
Seeing the slight bafflement in his smile, she gifts him with a similar response to her earlier bewilderment. “By the way, I also like your pin.” pointing to his blazer’s lapel.
His head snapped down to look at his clothes to understand what she was pointing at and saw the little button that he had pinned to his blazer. Looking back up at her, he replied in a dramatically dreamy voice, “I think I’m in love.” The picture being complete with his hands coming up to put them over his heart.

“And that’s how I met my Wife.” Adiren said with his bright smile, that takes up all of his face.
