After watching the sheep looking man turn the pizza guy into a fish mutant, Raph, Mikey, Donnie, and April began to devise a plan to free the mutant dog and stop the bad guy. "Alright fam! let's get some weapons to take this guy down" Raph shouted at the group. After they found some weapons they began to head back to the lab where they see the sheep man talking to two little gargoyles on his shoulders.
"Finally after all of these years we can eradicate the humans. Yokai will be able to roam around in the surface and that we can live a normal life, as a family." While looking at his invention with pride. Looking down at the dog creature, "I'll deal with you next." "What do you think he's talking about y'all?" Mikey questioned and turned to his older siblings. Donnie just shrugged his shoulders and remarked curtly, "I don't know Micheal, but whatever it is can't be good. Anyway let's get this over with." The turtles and April jumped down from their hiding spot and made themselves known to their opponent. Raph was the first to say something, "Alright asshole! Stop turning people into fish people..!" Raph was being bombarded by his brothers about saying his line correctly, causing the sheep yokai to analyze them properly, and it caused his heart to skip a beat. Looking at these turtles the sheep yokai began to recognize the three turtles who are still in the middle of their debacle, these are the very same turtles the yokai mutated 13 years ago, the warriors that he wanted in order to besiege the humans..the very same turtles he have mourned over for 13 long years, and they have returned to him!
"You are beautiful.." he breathed out, then summoned a giant creature and order it to capture the turtles and sent his little gargoyles to attack April. "Alright guys let's take this thing down!" Raph ordered Mikey and Donnie in order to take down the giant creature. After an uncoordinated but successful defeat, Raph and Mikey were laying on top of the rubble catching their breaths and Donnie sitting on top of the debris typing something on his phone. The sheep yokai looked at them after the debris settled, "Accidentally impressive..with a bit of training you'll be able to fight the way you need to." After a moment Raph got up and with a smug said, "Ok, and since you're surrendering-" Laughing, "Baron Draxum does not surrender. Leonardo, come out here!" This caught all three of the mutants attention and turned towards a doorway where they heard the sound of footsteps heading towards the lab.
Coming out of the shadows was a mutant turtle, a red-eared slider to be specific. There he stood with an odachi with a blue handle and it bears mysterious markings on its blade, he bears red and yellow markings on his body, he had a blue bandana wrapped around his eyes that have long twin tails, two red crescent markings around his eyes and the yellow markings on his arms and probably has more on him. The turtle had a pair of baggy pants that are wrapped around his shins, he had a biker jacket that is undone allowing his plastron to be shown and have black fingerless gloves wrapped around his hands, and he also has a thin black ribbon on his neck. Stepping forward towards Baron Draxum, "You summoned me father?" completely unaware about Raph, Donnie, and Mikey. Draxum took him by the shoulders and turned him around placing a gentle hand on his chin, "Look towards you child, and you tell me what do you see? What do you sense? Focus hard and carefully." Finally the slider looked towards the three brothers and immediately his breath got caught in his throat, all the turtles locked eyes with each other but Leonardo was the only one who felt the connection. He looked at them with confusion, longing, and hope, he felt tears sliding down his face and then looked at his father, "It's them..isn't it?" he asked breathlessly, "How did they find us? After so many years?"
Breaking away from the pair the three brothers looked at each other with confusion, finally after a moment Mikey was the one who broke the silence. "Soooo, anyone want to explain exactly what is happening here?" Donnie got down from his spot and looked at the pair with a look of disdain, "Look, we don't know what the hell you mean by us finding you, but I am certain at least I would remember your faces." Raph also got up from his spot and shouted, "Yeah! we definitely would've remembered your faces if we did know you, especially with a face like yours sheep man!" It was at this moment April came down with the two gargoyles who are currently beaten to a pulp, completely unaware of the confrontation between the inhuman creatures, clearly enjoying winning against the little goyles.
Seeing this Leonardo saw red and rushed in kicking April in the chest in order to get her away from the gargoyles and Draxum shot a vine at her wrapping her in some form of cocoon. Raph caught her when she fell to the ground and Mikey and Donnie immediately stood in front of her in order to protect her. "How dare you hurt our friend?! I'll get you for that!" Mikey shouted as he flung his kusari-fundo towards the pair who dodged it but when the ball of the weapon stayed there spinning, it began to form a flame everyone stood there with shock. "Cool! magic wea-PONNN!" Mikey shouted as the ball from his weapon began to drag him around the lab causing him to knock into everything the weapon directed him.
After crashing onto the floor, Raph, Donnie, and April looked at the box turtle with amazement on their faces. "Mikey, how'd you do that?!" Raph asked with excitement, turning towards them, Mikey responded. "I don't know man, I was swinging my weapon and then it did tHATTT!" Mikey screamed once again when the kusari-fundo began to flung him around again. "Cool, come on! Magic weapon, magic weapon, Magic Weapon!" Raph was swinging his tonfa around violently, only for a spark of power to appear and flung him back towards the wall and crashing into it. "Mine works too." Donnie just rolled his eyes, "I prefer the old fashioned way, using high tech gear!" as he launched himself in the air and aimed his tech-bo at Leonardo, which he blocks it with his odachi and bounces Donnie off him, when Donnie lands he activated his bo and a giant fist formed and he flung it forward which caused Leonardo to be knocked down.
As Donnie was about to hit Leonardo a second time Mikey crashed into him and they both started to fly around. Annoyed with the lack of discipline and buffoonery Draxum began to shout, "You fight like complete fools, but under me you will be able to fight like true warriors!" Sensing his father's distress Leonardo knocked Donnie and Mikey out of the air and forcing them onto the ground close to Raph and April and in turn Draxum shot vines towards the other three turtles. Once subdued Leonardo was staring at Raph, who in turn was staring back at him, only with anger and intimidation. "We don't spend enough quality time together." Stated Mikey as he nuzzled against Donnie's face, both of them trapped together in the cocoon. "Oh please not now Mikey" Donnie said frustrated, he activated his googles in search of an exit his googles picked up the damage the power generator sustained during the fight and began to panic. Unaware of this Draxum turned towards the brothers, "Turtles, why are you trying to stop my plan? We are all in this together!" Donnie spoke up, "Hey not sure if this is a part of your plan but the lab is about to explode." Saying that all the turtles and April began to jump around as both Leonardo and Draxum turned around and see the lab beginning to crumble.
"Aw nuts.." Draxum breathed out as a large chunk of rock landed straight on top of him. "FATHER!!" Leonardo screamed as he saw his father getting crushed by the large debris and began running towards that direction. In the midst of the collapse the dog creature managed to get out of its prison and appeared on April's lap. "Dog thingy! Hey can you do your thing, and get us out of here?" she asked sweetly. Just before the creature activated its power Raph managed to free himself, "Wait! we can't leave just yet!" As the others looked at him with confusion Raph began to run towards the slider and grabbed him by the arm, causing said slider to look back at him with fear and panic on his face.
"You can't stay here! You'll be killed, come with us!" Raph tried to reason with Leonardo, but he just shook his head and gave him a pained look and ripped his arm away from Raph and resumed to run towards where Draxum was buried, trying to save him. Raph watched as the slider ran away, he felt a sting of pain in his chest, why was he feeling this? he doesn't even know this other turtle. "Raph snap out of it! We have to go now!" Donnie yelled as the building was crumbling further, running back towards his family the dog yokai activated its power and teleported all fo them to safety. Once returning to New York, April was coddling the dog yokai, giving the creature the name Mayham the three brothers look at each other with a look of distress. Mikey being the first to speak.
"Ok, what the hell was that?! Did you guys see the other turtle? He looked like us!" Donnie was in deep thought, but was still able to respond. "I do not know Micheal, what bothers me more is that those two clearly know who we are, and that we mean something to them. As to what I do not know just yet." Raph was looking towards the ground deep in thought. Who was the turtle? Why did he went back to that villain? More importantly what did he looked at him with a pain expression when he turned around to look at him and felt that pain he did? Too many questions with no answers. Answers they'll have to look for another day.
Back in the Hidden City the little gargoyles were flying around the debris trying to located their masters, while searching a clawed hand came from the ground, and Draxum managed to pull himself out of the rubble. Once regaining his bearings he began to shift around the debris with the goyles help trying to locate his child, after a while he managed to move a giant piece of rock and located Leonardo, who was curled up in a ball trying to protect himself. Picking him up and placing him on his lap he began to tap his cheek. "Leonardo, wake up son, listen to my voice and open your eyes." After a few moments Leonardo opened his eyes and stared at his father's face, and once he saw him he wrapped his arms around him and started to weep.
Draxum just wrapped his arms around the turtle, letting him sob his heart out, after a while Leonardo said something. "Why don't they remember us? Did they not feel the connection? I was able to feel it, so why couldn't they?!" He looked at his father with a pleading look. Draxum just sighed and caressed his son's cheek, "It's been 13 years, not only that they are obviously poorly trained in their fighting. We will rebuild our work and once that is taken care of we will find a way to them, have them remember us. I promise you Leonardo, I will bring your brothers back to us." He held his son close to him as they both stared at the ruined lab. This is just the beginning of a long awaited dream, a dream that will become a reality no matter the cost.
