You don't know me as well as you think you do
Brian was getting his stuff together for an undercover job in Miami.
Dom said "I don't like this."
Brian just sighed and said :I know but it's part of my job."
Dom said "I know but you will be by yourself."
Brian said "I know but I am good at Protecting myself, you saw that for yourself when we first met."
Dom said "yeah."
Brian said :honestly after I arrested that guy I thought you were going to stop talking to me because you said that you had a bad thing with the police, and I was shocked that you waited outside the next day."
Dom said "yeah well I knew that night that I wanted to be with you that moment and I didn't care that you were a police officer any more."
Brian said "I will be gone for a week."
Dom said "okay love you be careful and don't do something stupid."
Brian said "okay love you too, Don't get into trouble while I am gone."
Dom said "you got it."
Brian kissed Dom and left.
What Brian didn't know is that every 4 days Dom went to Brian's work and asked Tanner how is Brian? Tanner would say he is good, then Dom left, Hazel would then come in and ask to talk to Brian O'Connor.
What was supposed to be a week turned into 2 weeks for Brian.
Dom came in at the start of the second week mad, the person at the front desk had the phone up and had Tanner on the phone, Tanner came running out of his office. Before Dom could say something Tanner said "they said they are almost done I promise."
Dom said "it better be and don't lie to me ever again."
Tanner said "okay." Tanner left the room. Dom was about to leave but was stopped by a new cop.
The new cop asked "how come you keep asking about officer Toretto?"
Dom said "because he is my husband. We have been married for about 9 months. We got together in his fourth month in academy and got married in his 5 month in academy."
The new cop asked "how did you meet?"
Dom said "we met at a bar, we were hitting it off and then he saw someone taking money and said I will be back. What he didn't know is that I heard what he said and muttered well I guess this relationship is over. I didn't understand what that meant until he put his hand on the guy and arrested the guy. But we just hit it off after that."
The new cop said "wow."
Dom said "goodbye."
The new cop said "goodbye." Then Dom left.
Hazel came in again and asked for Brian O'Connor.
The cop said "sorry he is not here."
Hazel said "you have been saying that for a week now and I am starting to think he does not work here!"
Before the cop could say something she left. She kept coming in and asking for Brian, But she kept getting mad. Finally after it being 2 weeks undercover Brian came home on Monday.
Brain turned to Roman and said "Roman you can wait for me at my house with my husband and his family or you can wait outside for me."
Roman said "I will wait for you outside."
Brian said "here are my keys."
Roman said "thank you."
Brian said "you are welcome." Brian went to his desk, and began to write his report up but the front desk person and his cousin came over to him.
The front desk person said “deal with her because I am DONE with her.”
Brian said “um okay.”
Hazel said “Brian you are my cousin.”
Brian said “so you are Related to Dom and Mia.”
Hazel said “I don't know who that is.”
Brain said “my husband and my sister in law.”
Hazel said “no I am your cousin though your dad.”
Brian said “I don't have any family on the O'Connor side, though I am no longer a O'Connor.” Hazel said “your uncle my dad needs your liver.”
Brian said “no, It is not good for me Especially because I am a cop.”
Hazel said “he really needs your help.”
Brian said “no.”
Hazel said “please.”
Brian said “no.”
Hazel asked “why will you not help out your family when you can?”
Brian said “I will help my family and that is the Toretto family, Roman and the people here.”
Hazel said “we will see about that.” With that Hazel left.
