Chapter Text
endangerer depending on who you ask. It was magical. The old out of focus pictures that Britain saw of him couldn’t do the man in front of him justice.
“Nope. Why, should I have?” the Doctor asked. Britain was sure he was playing dumb for information. Of course, America would never have known that.
“That’s awesome! Tony will be so impressed!”
The man looked between the two men quizzically.
Before the younger country could say anything, Britain gestured at the alien before them. “America, that’s the Doctor. The one that we had the meeting about.”
America’s eyes somehow shone even brighter. “The face guy?!” Britain nodded. He could have guessed that that’s all America remembered about the multiple hour long meeting they had. “That’s awesome! Tony will be so impressed!”
The man looked between the two men quizzically. Both looked quite young, probably 19 and 23 if he had to guess, but there was something so old about them both, but especially the blonde one with ridiculously large eyebrows. There was something awfully familiar about the blonde man too, but the Doctor couldn't remember why or from where.
One of the men, the American one, had rimmed glasses and a formal dark red suit with a tan colored tie. He'd look professional if not for the furry brown bomber jacket with a big star symbol, airplane, and number 50 on it. His dirty blonde hair was decently styled, but one massive fly away hair made it look far from neat.
The other one was in a green suit, not too dissimilar from his friend's with a dark gray tie. There was an official government/military badge on his suit saying 'Arthur Kirkland' and had a tiny picture of his face. The Doctor wasn't a big fan of the military, but he wouldn't hold it against the random person unless he ends up having a military mindset.
There was something so odd about them both, and the fact that they knew him but he didn't know them just made it odder. “Sorry, have we met?”
"No, but Britain talked about you for waaaay too long so I know you're a totally awesome alien hero man!"
"I did not talk for way too long! And no, we haven't officially met but I’ve heard quite a bit about you. Churchill always talked about how much he admires you, and Margrette Thatcher told me about how much she loathes you. Harriette Jones, my former prime minister, talked about you a lot."
"Yeah, I know who she is. Who are you two?" Those two men were obviously not normal citizens. They seemed to be high up in the British government, but both seemed a bit too young for that to be possible, and one seemed painfully too American for that too. If he was with the American government then what was he doing here? Why was the man talking of long dead historical figures like he knew them?
Most importantly, why were they saying America and Britain as if it were their names? Sure, humans weren't amazing at naming their kids, but if the Arthur Kirkland ID was anything to go off of their names were normal.
America stuck out a hand to be shook. “I’m America! You're like a real life hero too, huh?”
“I’m Britain. It's an honour to finally meet you."
