Aiyon was just chilling the lounge area outside of Buzzblast, just taking in the bustling area of guests and workers coming in and out of the building. He perked up when he saw someone walk out of Buzzblast in excitement to see what Aiyon assumed was a friend. He was surprised to see the two kiss on the lips before walking away. Aiyon touched his lips and was wondering how it would feel.
He suddenly saw Izzy walking towards the entrance with her girlfriend, Fern. They both kiss before Izzy waves off Fern a goodbye. Izzy turns and notices Aiyon looking her way and waves to him, walking over.
"Hey Aiyon! You good, dude? You seem to be lost in space somewhere.", Izzy said, soft smile but concern on her face. Aiyon touched his lips instinctively, immediately feeling shy about asking Izzy. "Oh, c'mon. Don't be shy, I won't judge."
"Well... How does kissing feel to you? I don't think I've ever kissed anyone in Raftkon or on Earth... It looks... nice.", Aiyon said.
"Well I kiss the people I love. And there's different kinds of kisses. Kisses for family and friends, and kisses for that special one you love in a romantic way, or your partner for short. There's only one type of kiss that you can't kiss your family and friends with but you can with your romantic loved one."
"Is it the one you gave to your girlfriend just now?", Aiyon said honestly. Izzy blushes a little before laughing.
"Yes, that is the one.", Izzy said, grinning. Aiyon was lost in thought for a little bit.
"How do you kiss? Do you think you can teach me?", Aiyon said innocently.
"I can't help you there, physically, or Fern will be upset with me.", Izzy said, sympathetically. "Is there someone you want to kiss?"
Aiyon thought about it. He never actually thought about it. He thought about all the people in his life currently that he wanted to kiss that badly on the lips.
Zayto? Nah... He's like a brother to me...
Solon is definitely a no.. Literally a mom.
Javi? It's a maybe, but not that much.
Amelia? Another no... so sisterly...
Ollie........Ollie?
"Ollie?", he said out loud, before covering his mouth quickly. He covered his face while Izzy laughed and pulled him into a hug.
"Well that answers that! Just ask him! Unless.. Do you love Ollie?", Izzy teased.
"I.... I think I do... He's just really... amazing. I love seeing him fight and I like sparring with him... And he's always nice to me, and I like hearing him talk about your Earth tech stuff even if I don't know much about it-", Aiyon said before Izzy placed a finger on his lips to shush him.
"Alright, I get the idea. Maybe you do like him, so maybe ask him to "teach" you how to kiss? Are you that desperate to kiss someone?", Izzy teased again.
"I mean, if it's with Ollie, sure!", Aiyon said cluelessly and enthusiastically. Izzy just smiles and puts a hand on his shoulder.
"Never change, Aiyon. Go get 'em!" Aiyon nods before dashing off to go find Ollie.
"Alright, I think we're done researching for now.", Dr. Akana said, closing the laptop. There wasn't any reason to be at Dinohenge except for the fact that it was calming to be there, as if there was a sense of security.
"Thanks, mom. I'll ask Solon to help me out with these notes later.", Ollie said, lugging the equipment back onto the cart.
"Alright, kiddo, I'll take it from here. Looks like one of your friends wants to talk to you!", Dr. Akana said, looking past Ollie to see Aiyon dashing over to the Dinohenge. She smiles before wheeling out the cart from the stone monuments.
Ollie turns around to see a slightly out of breath Aiyon, face flushed.
"What's up with you today?", Ollie gives a smile, raised eyebrow.
"Can you come with me to my room?", Aiyon asked, a bit too quickly. Ollie gives a curious look before he nods and both teleport into the base. They land in the middle of the base, Solon humming to herself before turning to see the two.
"Well, how do you do, you two? What's the occasion for coming to base today?", Solon said, tilting her head to the side.
"Well, I dunno. Aiyon asked me to come here.", Ollie said, shrugging.
"I'll tell you, just can you wait in my room? Please?", Aiyon asks innocently.
"You're acting a little bit weird today, but sure. Just don't pull a prank on me!", Ollie said before he walks away from the main room. Aiyon waits to hear that Ollie went into his room before turning to Solon who was still curiously looking at Aiyon.
"What's gotten into you Aiyon? You look flustered.", Solon said, worried for Aiyon.
"I-um-I... Well, I asked Ollie to come over because.... I think I like him? I saw Izzy kissing her girlfriend earlier and I wanted to know how kissing felt and then she told me that kissing is universal with friends and family but I should only kiss on the lips if it's someone I love dearly...", Aiyon said rapidly. He stood looking at his shoes before he hear Solon laugh.
"I suppose you brought Ollie here to see if you actually love him?", Solon said, carefully.
"I... I think I do like him.", Aiyon said hesistantly.
"Well, why not tell him how you feel directly?"
"Well, I did say I think, so I wanted to test something.", Aiyon said. He was fully embarrassed at this situation, but Solon just laughed again.
"Well I hope things go well in there. You got this, Aiyon!", Solon nuzzles Aiyon. Aiyon grins before nuzzling back and dashing to his room.
"Thought you really were going to prank me, the way you were taking your time like that.", Ollie said, lounging on Aiyon's bed. He sits up, watching Aiyon's movements carefully.
Aiyon awkwardly shakes his hands and exhales before asking Ollie. "So, um, have you ever kissed anyone?", Aiyon blurted out. Ollie snorts before bursting out laughing.
"Dude? Did you just get me to come here to ask for dating advice?", Ollie smiles. Aiyon's heart felt like it was about to pound out of his chest.
"I mean.. maybe? Kinda? I just... don't know how to kiss anyone? So I was wondering if you knew? Izzy said she couldn't help me because that would be rude to Fern, which I get...", Aiyon plopped down beside Ollie, too shy to look directly at him, so he fiddled with his hands.
"Hey... What's up with you, Aiyon? It's not like you to be shy.", Ollie scooted closer, putting an arm around Aiyon. Aiyon tensed at the gesture, almost leaning into Ollie, but he refrained from doing so.
"Ok, so... weird request... Can you teach me how to kiss?", Aiyon said, turning his head to look at Ollie. Aiyon was the nervous he's ever felt, being really close to Olli who was looking deep into his eyes.
"I don't think it's weird, especially if I do this." Ollie pulls Aiyon closer, leaning in and kissing him on the lips. Aiyon was stunned for a moment, unsure of what to do until he slightly parted his lips to let Ollie kiss deeper. It's as if Aiyon knew how to kiss this entire time, but he just craved more of Ollie. Aiyon quickly pulled back, flustered at the moment. It felt like a lifetime kissing Ollie, and he didn't want it to end but he was confused.
"So how do you feel? Are you confident to kiss now?", Ollie said.
"That was... something... That was a kiss?", Aiyon said, confusion clear.
"It's one way to kiss someone if you're going out of your way to kiss someone you like.", Ollie replied.
"Is there a more gentle way?", Aiyon asked, thinking about how Izzy and Fern kissed.
"I guess you do start off slow and steady... I've never kissed anyone, either, just seen kisses here and there."
"Bro, you've got to be kidding me!", Aiyon said, all of a sudden laughing, feeling at ease that he wasn't alone.
"Well, why don't you try taking the lead!", Ollie exclaimed. A bit too quickly, Aiyon leaned in and pulled Ollie closer by his hoodie strings, gently pressing his lips on Ollie's. He pulls back and grins at a shocked Ollie.
"And you're out here telling me that you don't know how to kiss?", Ollie said, stunned.
"Well... I'll learn fast with someone I love.", Aiyon said. He looked for an answer in Ollie's face but it was confusion and then processing before it hit him.
"So this was your plan? To confess by getting me to teach you how to kiss?", Ollie smirks. Aiyon realized what he just said and covers his face in embarrassment. "Hey, don't hide your face, you're new to Earth and stuff like this, I won't judge.", Ollie pulls Aiyon into a hug, comforting Aiyon to get him to show his face. After Aiyon got over his fiasco, he looks at Ollie.
"Well? Do you like me back?", Aiyon said, a little too hopefully.
"Do you want me to teach you to find out?", Ollie joked, a little serious in his tone.
"I'd love that.", Aiyon said before Ollie pulls him back for another kiss. He felt like he was levitating, the way his worries melted away when Ollie gave him a sincere kiss. Ollie broke away to move to Aiyon's jaw, then to his neck.
"Is it normal to kiss there?", Aiyon asked, letting out a soft moan after.
"Well I wanna kiss all the parts of the person I love.", Ollie said smugly. "Trying to learn where you like to be kissed the most."
"I guess we're both going to teach each other something.", Aiyon said, gently pushing back Ollie to do the same to him.
Izzy walked into Buzzblast, wanting to chill out with the ranger crew. She noticed that only Zayto, Amelia, and Javi were there, but Aiyon and Ollie were not.
"Where are the other dudes?", Izzy asked. Amelia and Zayto shrugs while Javi looks past Izzy and gestures behind her. Izzy turns around to see Aiyon clearly hiding behind Ollie who was grinning.
"What's up with him?", Izzy raises an eyebrow. The attention from the crew were now on both of them.
"What's up with your neck?", Amelia pointed to Ollie's neck. Ollie laughs while he pulls Aiyon from behind him, embracing him while Aiyon was trying to hide his face. "Well, I was teaching this guy how to kiss someone, and it escalated.", Ollie said, teasing Aiyon and giving a kiss on his head.
"Ohhhhhhhhh...", Izzy and Amelia said in realization while Javi was losing it. Zayto just smiled seeing his best friend in the state he was in.
