Work Text:
“Move in with me?” Sarawat asked.
Tine shook his head. “No.”
Sarawat frowned. “Why not?”
Tine gave Sarawat a soft smile. “My parents wouldn’t allow it.” It was a lie. But Tine couldn’t tell him the truth. Sarawat would never believe that Tine could see the future and he’s already seen them break up. Tine hadn’t told Sarawat about his gift. Hadn’t even told Fong, Ohm, and Phuak. His family knows and that's it. His gift is rather inconvenient. When he sees the future it’s never important things like the correct answer to a test or warning him before a car accident. Tine see’s his romantic partners' futures. More importantly he sees the person they’re going to date after him. It’s rather inconvenient to be having your first kiss with a girl and see her kissing someone else in your head. Still Tine has gotten used to it. Tine’s already seen the girl Sarawat will leave him for. She’s got caramel colored hair, a pretty face and a yellow dress. Like every other time this has happened Tine has decided to see the relationship through to the end. He takes it less seriously obviously but he still has fun.
Sarawat nodded and walked up to Tine. He put his arms around Tine’s waist and pulled him close. “Doesn’t mean I can’t just move in to your dorm with you.” He smiled at Tine in a soft goofy way that is just Sarawat.
Tine laughed. He hugged Sarawat back and held him close. He liked Sarawat so much. He never wants this to end. Tine shut his eyes and prayed for a little while longer with his boyfriend.
Tine spent the term break with his family. Sarawat was busy rehearsing for an event at school. Ctrl S was participating in its first competition. Tine and Sarawat of course talked. Tine had driven back to campus at least twice each week to spend the night in Sarawat’s apartment. Sarawat said it wasn’t enough. Tine just shook his head when Sarawat talked like that.
“Is she pretty?” Tine’s mom asks during the last week of break. They were in the kitchen. Tine’s just having finished breakfast while glued to his phone.
“What?” Tine asked in confusion.
Tine’s mom smiled. “The girl you're seeing. Is she pretty?”
Tine put his phone on the table. “I’m not seeing a girl.”
Tine’s mom rolled her eyes. “It's obvious you are. You’ve been smiling at your phone and disappearing back to campus.”
Tine stood up and walked over to his mother. He was already several inches taller than her. “I’m not denying I’m seeing someone. I’m just saying it’s not a girl.”
Tine’s mother nodded knowingly. “Is he handsome?”
Tine blushed.
“Is he kind? Does he treat you well?” Tine’s mom asked.
“He’s amazing.” Tine said softly.
Tine’s mother smiled.
“But it’s not going to last.” Tine said sadly.
“Why not?” Tine’s mom asked.
Tine sighed. “I had a vision.”
Tine’s mom pulled him into a hug. “I’m so sorry sweetheart. I wish I’d never given you this curse” Like Tine his mom could see pieces of the future as well.
Tine sniffed and tried not to cry. “Me too.”
—
Tine woke for the sixth time that week enfolded in Sarawat’s arms. It was the second week of term. They were in Tine’s dorm and Sarawat had come over after band practice to sleep at Tine’s. He practically lives in Tine’s dorm. Since Tine said they couldn’t move in together Sarawat has been slowly moving more and more stuff into Tine’s dorm room. Soon all his stuff would be there. Tine didn’t mind. He liked having Sarawat near. He did acknowledge the break up would be more difficult but he tried not to think about it. For all he knew he had years left with Sarawat. The alarm went off at ten and they both grumbled. It was Saturday. Two weeks before Ctrl S performed.
“What time is band practice?” Tine asked.
“Eleven.” Sarawat mumbled, face pressed to Tine’s chest.
Tine stretched. “If we want breakfast we better get up now.”
Sarawat held on tighter. “Let's just stay here today.”
Tine smiled and scratched the back of Sarawat’s head. “You know you want to go to band practice.”
Sarawat groaned but sat up. “Fine.”
They got ready for the day. It was the weekend so despite the fact they were going to campus they didn’t have to wear their uniforms. They grabbed breakfast at a cafe and made their way to Ctrl S’s practice. Tine found a seat and listened to the band play. They went over the setlist then band had put together over and over again. Around one Tine had enough and stood up.
“I need coffee.” Tine announced between songs.
“Oh please me too.” Earn said.
The whole band started asking for drinks.
Tine nodded. “I’ll go get drinks. Earn you text me what everybody wants.”
Earn nodded and her bandmates came up to her to put their order in.
Tine went up to Sarawat. “Iced Americano?”
“I don’t want to make things difficult for you.” Sarawat said sweetly.
Tine smiled and leaned in to kiss his boyfriend. “Tell me what you want Wat. I don’t mind getting it for you.”
“You naked in our bed.” Sarawat said, smiling.
Tine laughed. “My bed.”
Sarawat shook his head. “Our bed. The one we're going to have when you move in with me next year.”
“Lets focus on coffee for now.” Tine said blushing.
“Then yes iced Americano.” Sarawat said.
Tine nodded and went to a nearby cafe. The rest of the band sent in their order and Tine picked up the drinks. Tine was walking back to the practice room humming one of the songs Ctrl S had been playing. Tine had a spring in his step and was feeling good. That's when he met her.
“Excuse me.” A female voice said behind Tine.
Tine turned around and felt his stomach drop. It was the girl from his vision. The one he saw kissing Sarawat. She wasn’t in the yellow dress from his vision but she was just as pretty. “Yes?” Tine asked in a strained voice.
The girl smiled. “I’m looking for Sarawat Guntithanon. Do you know where I could find him?” She looked so sweet and innocent when she asked. Tine felt he couldn’t refuse her. He also saw the irony that he was going to lead the girl who would steal his boyfriend right to him.
“He's inside. I’ll show you.” Tine said. She did not offer to take any of the drinks Tine was carrying despite the fact that he was carrying six drinks. Tine led the girl up to the practice room the band was meeting in. Tine had to push open the door with his shoulder. He stood in front of the band with their drinks. They finished the songs they were playing and put down their instruments to get their drinks.
“Thanks Tine.” Temp the lead singer said.
“No problem.” Tine said.
Tine gave Sarawat his drink last. By the time he got over to him the girl and he were talking. They seemed to be whispering together. Tine stood next to Sarawat waiting for him to acknowledge him so he could give him his drink. Sarawat finally noticed Tine and wordlessly took the drink and directed the girl into the hall. Tine sighed.
“Who was that?” Earn asked.
Tine shrugged. “No idea.”
The band took a ten minute break and drank their coffee. When it was over they all looked at the door.
“Do we interrupt them?” Gun the drummer asked.
Earn rolled her eyes. “This is ridiculous. We need to practice.” Earn opened the door and there was Sarawat and the girl hugging. Earn blushed. “You shouldn’t be acting like this in public.”
Sarawat pulled back. “Sorry.”
“Are you going to introduce us to your friend?” Temp asked.
Sarawat walked back into the practice room with the girl. “This is my friend Pam.”
“Best friend.” Pam corrected.
Sarawat nodded. “We went to high school together.”
Tine looked at the floor. It looked like his relationship with Sarawat was going to be over sooner than he thought.
After a while Tine lied and said Fong had texted him with a problem. Instead he went home and started packing Sarawat’s stuff. He made sure it just looked like he’d been cleaning. Sarawat came home around eleven. Tine was watching a movie on his laptop.
“Hey.” Sarawat said. Tine had left the door unlocked so Sarawat could come right in.
“Hey.” Tine said not taking his eyes off the laptop.
“You cleaned up.” Sarawat said, looking around. He put his guitar down near the bed.
Tine shrugged. “I had some time.”
“You should have come back to practice. The band could have used the audience.” Sarawat said.
“I didn’t want to step on Pam’s toes.” Tine said snidely. Pam had hung around well into the afternoon staring moon eyed at Sarawat.
“Are you mad at me?” Sarawat asked, sitting next to Tine on his bed.
“Why would I be angry?” Tine asked. “You sound guilty.”
Sarawat closed Tine’s laptop. “What is going on?”
“Who is Pam?” Tine demanded. He glared at Sarawat.
“A friend.” Sarawat said.
“Why is this the first I’m hearing of her? She claims to be your best friend who you haven’t ever mentioned her to me.” Tine said.
Sarawat scratched the back of his neck. “Have I not?”
“No.” Tine said. “She just showed up and you're all over her.”
Sarawat smirked. “You're jealous because I hugged her. She was telling me something sad and I offered her comfort. It’s not the same as when I hold you.” Sarawat attempted to pull Tine into a hug.
Tine pushed him away and got up.
“Tua woon wai.” Sarawat said.
“This is why we don’t live together.” Tine said from the end of the bed. “I’ve known you for months and you’ve told me nothing about you. You're still a stranger to me. I don’t know who’s sharing my bed.”
Sarawat got up and came to the end of the bed. “Tine your panicking. I need you to calm down.”
“Have you kissed her?” Tine desperately asked.
Sarawat froze.
“Fucked her?” Tine asked in a small voice.
“No.” Sarawat said. “We kissed once and it was no big deal. We were never like that.”
Tine gave him a look.
“Okay I was never like that. I can’t speak for her.” Sarawat said.
“So you have never had feelings for her?” Tine asked.
Sarawat went silent.
“Tell me now or I swear to god I will hurt you.” Tine said.
“She was my first love.” Sarawat whispered.
Tine felt like crying. “Get out.”
“Tine.” Sarawat pleaded.
“You're such a hypocrite. You got mad at me for giving my ex Noomnim a ride home from the library during finals and expect me to be okay with you giving your first love private guitar lessons. You can’t have it both ways. Either we can hang out with people we used to have feelings for or we can’t.” Tine yelled.
Sarawat said nothing.
“Just get out, I don't want to share a bed with you.” Tine said. He stormed off to the balcony and shut the door. Ten minutes later he came back and Sarawat was gone. Tine went to lay on his bed and cried.
—
Tine was not well. He’d been feeling sick all week. He couldn’t sleep or eat. He moved around school like a zombie. Earn had texted him on a couple occasions to ask why Sarawat was in such a bad mood but he left her on read. Tine had seen Sarawat and Pam around campus together. They always seemed shoulder to shoulder in happy conversation. Green had already texted Tine a few times to warn Tine Sarawat was cheating on him. Tine could see all the signs that his relationship was about to be over. He didn’t know why it bothered him so much this time but it did. He didn’t want to lose Sarawat. He’d been avoiding music club all week. Afraid to run into Sarawat. P’Dim had texted him to show up today or else. Tine headed up the stairs to music club feeling light headed. The ground underneath him spun and Tine felt himself gripping the railing. Before Tine could call out for help he was fainting.
Tine woke to a bright white light. It looked like someone had taken him to the hospital. He groaned and covered his eyes with his hand.
“You're awake.” A familiar voice said.
Tine looked over and saw Green sitting next to his bed. “What happened?”
“I was going to music club and you suddenly started falling down the stairs. Luckily I caught you.” Green said.
“Thanks.” Tine said.
“The doctor says you aren’t well. He thinks you're anemic.” Green said.
“I haven’t been feeling well.” Tine admitted.
“Because Sarawat’s cheating?” Green asked.
Tine’s eyes filled with tears. “He’s going to leave me for her.”
“No.” Green said. “He worked so hard to win you over. He wouldn’t just give up now.”
“She’s his first love.” Tine said.
Green sighed. “What are you going to do?”
“I’m going to do my best to smile and hope no one sees how much it hurts.” Tine said.
Green patted Tine’s hand. “I’m so sorry darling.”
They kept him at the doctors for a few more hours. They wanted to see Tine eat before he left. Then Green drove Tine home.
“Try and sleep. I’ll explain to Dim why you weren’t in club.” Green said as Tine got out of the car.
“Thanks Green. For everything.” Tine said. He headed into his dorm. Tine walked slowly. The walk up the stairs had never felt so long. All he wanted to do was lay down. He was feeling light headed again. He got up the stairs and saw someone was outside his dorm room. Sarawat was knocking on his door calling out to him.
“Tine… Tine open up please.” Sarawat asked. “Tine.”
“I’m over here.” Tine said.
“Tine!” Sarawat said, walking up to him. “I’ve been calling you.”
“I know.” Tine said, pushing past to his door. “I’ve been busy.”
“Tine we need to talk.” Sarawat said grabbing Tine’s arm.
“I need to sit down.” Tine said. He was feeling light headed again.
“Tine.” Sarawat said firmer this time pulling Tine away from his door.
The room spun again and Tine realized a second before it happened he was going to faint. As things went dark he just hoped Sarawat caught him.
—
Tine was laying down when he woke up. He was somewhere soft so he couldn’t be on the floor. Tine looked around and found he was in his bed.
“I don’t know mom.” Sarawat said. “He’s warm to the touch and has a hospital bracelet on.” There was a pause. “We were talking and he just fainted. What should I do?”
Tine looked around and found Sarawat standing next to his bed. He looked worried.
“Help me mom.” Sarawat pleaded.
“Wat.” Tine croaked.
Sarawat looked at him. “He’s awake, I have to go.” Sarawat hung up the phone and came to the side of Tine’s bed. “How do you feel?”
Tine sat himself up. “I’m fine. Just a bit weak.”
“Why didn’t you tell me something was wrong?” Sarawat asked, sitting on the edge of Tine’s bed.
“I didn’t think you’d care. You're far too busy fawning over Pam.” Tine said angrily.
Sarawat sighed. “I’m sorry. I’ve been really terrible.”
Tine hadn’t expected an apology. It caught him off guard.
“I sat down with a few of my friends and asked them about the situation and they all agreed I’m an asshole. I guess I never understood why people ask so many questions about people's past. It never seemed important to me. When high school ended I put it away and moved on. But as we’ve both seen, the past has a habit of coming back. Like ex-girlfriends who need favors. You were right. If I’m bothered by you driving an ex home which takes ten minutes max you have every right to be upset about me devoting hours of time to Pam. I guess because I’m over her I didn’t see the problem. I didn’t think about your feelings. Which makes me feel bad because you're always thinking about how things affect me. My only excuse is this is my first relationship and I don’t know what I’m doing. I’m still learning.” Sarawat said.
Tine wanted to believe him. He wanted to open his arms and cry into Sarawat’s shoulder. But the vision of Sarawat and Pam kissing flashed in front of his mind. “Maybe we're too incompatible.” Tine said.
Sarawat shook his head and took Tine’s hand. “No. Please give me a second chance. I can learn. I can’t lose you like this.”
Tine sighed. “Ask me again in the morning.”
“What?” Sarawat asked.
“I’m so exhausted I can barely keep my eyes open. So sleep over and ask me in the morning.” Tine said.
Sarawat smiled. “Okay.”
Tine got up and took a quick shower. Then he curled under the covers and went to sleep. Half an hour after he laid down he felt Sarawat lay down next to him. Sarawat spooned up behind Tine and he tried not to cry. He didn’t want to let Sarawat go.
Tine woke at some point in the night feeling sick. He got up and threw up in the bathroom then after brushing his teeth he went back to bed. Tine lay next to Sarawat and watched him sleep. He really really liked Sarawat. Tine was aware that being with a man meant never getting married or being able to have kids but Sarawat was worth it. He could see them with a dog or even a couple of cats. They would make things work. Tine was not ready to let go. He wanted to be selfish and stop time so he could keep Sarawat a little longer. Tine snuggled into Sarawat’s arms. To his relief Sarawat pulled him closer. Tine was going to hold on for as long as possible.
—
Tine woke alone but he could hear Sarawat so he wasn’t upset.
“He’s sick, Earn. I need to stay and take care of him.” Sarawat said into his phone. “I know we only have a week left till we perform. But he needs me.”
“Wat.” Tine said, sitting up.
Sarawat looked at Tine. “Hold on Earn, he's awake. I’ll call you back.” Sarawat hung up the phone and went back to the bed. He sat down and smiled at Tine. “How are you feeling?”
Tine sat up more. “Better. I haven’t slept that well all week.”
“Maybe you’ve been lonely?” Sarawat asked.
Tine nodded. It was probably true. Since Tine and Sarawat had gotten together, Tine had hardly slept alone. This past week has been so strange. Tine had missed Sarawat so viscerally it had made him sick.
“Thankfully it’s Saturday so we can stay in and rest.” Sarawat said.
“You have rehearsal.” Tine said.
“You're more important.” Sarawat said, taking Tine’s hand.
Tine squeezed back. “You should go. You need all the practice you can get.”
“I’m not leaving you.” Sarawat said.
“Then I’ll come with you. If I feel sick you’ll be there to take care of me.” Tine said.
“You sure?” Sarawat asked.
Tine nodded. They got up and got dressed for the day. The hardest part was breakfast. Tine’s stomach still didn’t feel well. Tine forced himself to eat to make Sarawat happy. Then they made their way to school. They walked up the steps to the practice room and heard a voice.
“Wat!”
Tine looked over and there was Pam in that damn yellow dress from his vision. She looked radiant as she waved them over.
“What are you doing here Pam?” Sarawat asked.
Pam smiled at Sarawat flirtatiously. She reached out and touched Sarawat’s chest with the tip of her finger. “We were going to have another session.”
“I have band rehearsal today.” Sarawat said. “I’ll see you tomorrow.”
Pam pouted.
Tine felt sick. He was about to get dumped.
“I came all this way.” Pam said.
“You should have called first.” Sarawat said. “I can’t drop the band rehearsal for you.”
Tine felt dizzy. “I need to sit down.” Tine said.
“Are you feeling okay?” Sarawat asked.
Tine nodded. “I’ll take your guitar. You finish up here.”
Sarawat handed off his guitar. “Sit down and take a few deep breaths.”
Tine nodded and went to the practice room. Earn and Temp were already there. Tine put Sarawat’s guitar down and chatted with them. Tine felt like he was going to cry. This is just what he saw in his vision. But what if he could stop it? What if he went out there and told Sarawat he loved him? Maybe he could change things. Tine excused himself and went back to find Sarawat. Except he was too late. Pam and Sarawat were kissing. Tine started to cry. His vision got hazy and he felt faint. Before he could call for help he was fainting again.
—
Tine woke to bright light again and realized he was in the hospital again. His stomach rolled. Tine leaned over the edge of the bed and vomited his breakfast.
“Oh dear.” A nurse said rushing over. She patted Tine on the back. “Your okay. Everything is going to be okay.”
Tine lay back in his bed and started to cry.
“Do you still feel sick?” The nurse asked.
Tine nodded. His whole body felt unwell. Like there was helium in his head and rocks in his stomach. Everything ached.
The nurse started to clean up the vomit.
“What happened?” Sarawat said, stepping into the room.
“Get out!” Tine yelled. “Get out!”
“Tine.” Sarawat said desperately.
“He said out.” The nurse said, pushing Sarawat back.
“Tine!” Sarawat called from the hallway.
Over the next four hours Tine went through multiple tests. He’d hit his head when he fainted so they had to make sure he hadn’t hurt himself. Then the doctor tried to find the cause of the fainting and the stomach problem.
“I know why this is happening.” Tine said.
The doctor raised an eyebrow at him. “Do tell.”
“I’ve been starving myself.” Tine said.
“Why have you been doing that?” The doctor asked.
“Because I’m depressed.” Tine said.
“So this sickness is emotional?” The doctor asked.
Tine nodded.
The hospital got Tine stable and gave him the number of someone who could help him get a therapist. Tine called Fong to take him home. The two of them were walking through the waiting room when a voice called out.
“Tine.”
Tine looked over and saw Sarawat was still there.
“Leave it Sarawat.” Fong said. “I need to get Tine home.” Tine hadn’t told Fong what had happened with Sarawat, just that they were fighting.
“Please five minutes.” Sarawat begged. He put his hands together and wai’d deeply.
Fong looked at Tine who nodded. “Find a place to sit. Tine is still weak.”
Sarawat found some seats away from other people. Tine and Sarawat sat down. Fong sat close enough to jump in if things went bad but far enough away he couldn’t hear.
“Tine.” Sarawat said, trying to take Tine’s hand.
Tine pulled his hands away.
“I’m so sorry.” Sarawat said. “I should have seen through this ruse. Pam was playing guitar well at the end of the school year. She couldn’t have forgotten so much so soon. This was all a trap to make me date her.”
Tine sniffed.
“You have to know I turned her down. She asked me to be her boyfriend and I said no. Thats when she grabbed me and kissed me. I didn’t push her away because I was in such shock. Please know I want nothing to do with her.” Sarawat said.
“It hurts.” Tine said, fighting back tears. “It hurt so fucking much. I stopped eating and sleeping because I like you so much and the thought of you being with anyone else kills me.” The tears Tine had been fighting showed themselves. Tine started to openly cry.
Sarawat slid to his knees on the floor and pressed his face to Tine’s stomach. He enveloped Tine in thug and held him close. “I’m so sorry.” Sarawat said.
Tine just cried for a few minutes.
“Five minutes is up.” Fong said.
Tine stood up leaving Sarawat on the floor. Fong started shepherding Tine to the front door. Tine stopped just inside the door.
“Sarawat will drive me home.” Tine said.
“Are you sure?” Fong asked.
Tine nodded.
Fong went back to Sarawat who was still on the floor crying. Tine watched hope fill Sarawat’s face as he rushed over to help Tine to his car. The ride was silent. Both too afraid to speak. They got to Tine’s dorm and stopped the car.
“Can I help you upstairs?” Sarawat asked.
Tine sat in his seat and felt sick. He had something he needed to say and he didn’t care how desperate it made him seem. “I love you.” Tine said softly.
“What?” Sarawat asked.
“I love you.” Tine said louder. “I love you so much I am sick with worry about losing you. I haven’t slept or ate in a week and my body is falling apart because I don’t work without you.”
Sarawat pulled Tine into a hug. “I love you too and I’m sorry about how I handled this.”
Tine started to cry into Sarawat’s shoulder. “I think I loved you long before we started dating.”
Sarawat smiled and rubbed Tine’s back. “I’m going to take care of you. From now on you won’t have to worry about anything.”
“Can we not break up?” Tine asked.
“Yes.” Sarawat said.
Tine sighed. “I don’t feel good.”
“I know. But it’s going to be okay.” Sarawat said. Sarawat helped Tine up to his dorm room and into bed. He helped Tine change into pajamas and laid him down. Then Sarawat got into his own pajamas and lay down next to Tine. Sarawat lay facing Tine and pulled them close. “I was born in the year two thousand.” Sarawat said in a soft voice.
“What are you doing?” Tine croaked.
“I don’t want to be a stranger to you so I’m going to tell you all about myself.” Sarawat said.
Tine nodded.
Sarawat pulled Tine closer and continued to talk.
—
Tine sat down a box and looked around. He’d really moved in with Sarawat. He’d told himself time and time again not too but he couldn’t help himself. He loved Sarawat so much. He never wanted to be apart from him.
“Come on, only a few more boxes to go.” Sarawat said.
Tine smiled and followed him to the car. Later when it was all moved in Tine sat on their bed and took a break. He hoped his relationship with Sarawat lasted forever. He didn’t want to give his boyfriend up to anybody.
Sarawat sat next to him and smiled. “What are you thinking about?”
“That I never want to move again.” Tine said smiling.
Sarawat chuckled.
“Ah I’m so hungry but I’m too lazy to cook.” Tine said.
“I already ordered take out.” Sarawat said. “It should be here in ten minutes.”
“My handsome prince.” Tine laughed. Tine was suddenly so thankful they worked things about. A few months ago they had been on the verge of breaking up. But Sarawat had saved the day. He’d managed to say all the right things that could comfort Tine and nursed him back to health. Tine was still slightly embarrassed how badly he’d reacted to almost losing Sarawat. How sick he’d gotten. heartbreak did not look good on Tine. Still here they were. Pam was a distant nightmare.
Sarwat leaned in and kissed Tine softly on the lips. Tine was struck by a vision. His heart clenched. Not again. He couldn’t lose Sarawat. The vision began and like last time Sarawat was kissing someone. Except this time it wasn’t a person but a french bulldog puppy. He had a ring on his finger so it seemed he was married. Tine sighed. A second figure joined the vision. They kissed Sarawat on the cheek and cooed at the puppy. They had a matching ring on their finger. They turned and Tine saw it was him. He was having a vision of Sarawat and himself with a puppy. Tine felt like crying.
“Tine…” Sarawat asked.
Tine opened his eyes. “Hu?”
“Where did you go just now? It’s like you went away.” Sarawat said in a scared voice.
Tine smiled and leaned in to kiss Sarawat. “Everything is perfect, Wat.”
“Promise?” Sarawat asked.
“Ya.” Tine said. They kissed again. This time Tine pulled Sarawat towards him. They lay down on the bed together.
“Let's make the most of our ten minutes.” Sarawat said.
They made their way to the top of the bed and laid down. They quickly pulled off their clothing and Sarawat got the lube. Sarawat fingered Tine while they kissed. Tine sunk his fingers into Sarawat’s hair and gently scraped at the back of his head.
“Roll onto your front.” Sarawat said.
Tine kissed Sarawat one last time and rolled onto his front. Sarawat pulled on a condom and pressed inside. Tine gasped and then pressed his head to the pillow.
“You feel good?” Sarawat asked.
Tine nodded.
Sarawat put his hand on Tine hip and pressed all the way inside. He started to slowly thrust in and out. They lay their together for a few minutes just gently rocking their bodies together. Tine rolled his hip. Sarawat hissed and kissed Tine’s shoulder. Sarawat went faster pressing into Tine firmer.
“Fuck Wat.” Tine whined.
“I’m getting close.” Sarawat said.
Tine nodded.
“I’m going to go faster.” Sarawat said.
Tine nodded again. He kept seeing the vision of Sarawat and that puppy in his head over and over again. Sarawat was going to be his forever. Tine was never going to let go. “I love you.” Tine whispered.
Srawat bit Tine’s shoulder as he fucked Tine deep and hard. “Fuck baby I love you too.”
Tine reached underneath himself and started jerking himself off. It didn’t take long and he was cumming. Sarawat groaned in Tine’s ear and came as well. The two of them lay in bed just catching their breaths. The doorbell rang.
Sarawat groaned and rolled off. “I’ll get it.” He pulled on his sweat pants and went to the door.
Tine got up and washed his hand. Then he picked up his own pants and put them on.
“Foods here.” Sarawat called.
They got beer from the fridge and sat on the couch to eat. For a while they ate in silence.
“Do you like dogs?” Tine asked.
Sarawat shrugged. “Sure dogs are great.”
“We should get a dog.” Tine said.
“I don’t know if the building allows them.” Sarawat said.
Tine smiled. “Not now. Maybe in a few years when we have the place we're going to spend our lives in.”
Sarawat smiled. “Already planning our future?”
“Maybe.” Tine said.
Sarawat kissed Tine’s shoulder. “I like it. I’d much prefer you picking out future pets than catastrophizing.”
Tine chuckled. “I don’t know about other stuff but we're going to be okay. I’ve seen the future and we make it.”
Sarawat smiled. “Good.”
At some later date Tine would explain his ability to see the future. But for now he would simply enjoy the moment. Everything was going to be okay.
