This is a little introduction to the universe of where the story is set.
The story is set in the world I have been for a while now. The world is called Ravil and they all live in a coast city named Vildstrom.
About the character’s backstories:
I needed to adjust the backstories for the story so…
1.Caleb:
He was born in Wedelia, a small town. When he was 11 yo he was kidnapped on his way home from the local library. He spent four years in a cult until he managed to escape. In the end the cultists were arrested and Caleb moved away from that place with his family. The family changed names for safety.
So Bren became Caleb Widogast
Leofric became Lawrence Widogast
Una became Phoebe Widogast
Caleb never talked outside of the house and only talked at home with his parents but after being kidnapped he stopped talking even at home. His parents are doing the best to support him and help him through his recovery.
2. Fjord:
He was 12 yo when the cruise ship his family and he were on had a shipwreck. He and his father managed to survive
3. Jester:
Her mother was a model when she got pregnant with her. Marion was abandoned by her husband and fell in depression. With the help of a therapist she got better. She is now a famous fashion designer. Her mother still sees a therapist because of her strong anxiety.
4. Mollymauk:
Lucien, Mollymauk and Kingsley are twins. They parents were awful people and often violent towards the twins, especially Lucien and Molly. Kingsley was often left alone since he was considered “cute” and was the favourite twin between the three of them. They had an older brother named Erick. He was the golden child and his parents loved him. One day Erick died and their parents never got over it and started to become even more violent towards the twins. Lucien was thought as the responsible for the brother death. One night Lucien fled from the house with his twins. They got adopted by Gustav, an ex circus man. Gustav used to own a circus but because of a scandal caused by one of his performers his and the circus reputation got ruined and he had to close the circus and find another job.
