O.U.R - A FNaF Investigation series

Summary:

Obtain, Understand, Release.
That was the motto of the company, and it was what lead them to this decision in the first place.
But what could be a better source of knowledge than the old animatronics from the numerous Fazbear locations over the years, some borrowed from auctions and others found that never ended up on the records. Something new, they called it.
Eitherway, that company was going to learn something, and they had everything set up to do so.

Chapter 1: INTERVIEW: AMALGAM

Chapter Text

ANIMATRONIC DESIGNATION: TOY FOXY

LOCATION RETRIEVED: [REDACTED]

FOUND IN AN ALLEYWAY DEACTIVATED, REACTIVATED BY ITSELF HALFWAY BACK.

----------

PHYSICAL ATTRIBUTES: Toy Foxy, or more commonly named "The Mangle" by staff from its original location, is a heavily damaged Toy Foxy Take Apart model, having modular pieces accross its endoskeleton that are removeable when the Animatronic is in its Repair Mode, although this model in specfif has that mode enabled by default. This oversight causes the Animatronic to drop parts behind itself frequently, creating loud audiotory distractions and damaging the pieces over time.

When the Animatronic is at its full size, it is able to stand to 6ft, a slight decrease from the normal models size of 6.15ft. In addition, the stability of its joints have decreased over time, leaving the Animatronic with difficulties holding itself upright for longer periods of time. The Animatronic seems to be missing several parts of the original Toy Foxy model, being left with a foot, a hand, a bowtie and the signiture headpiece. The rest of the Animatronic pieces are unknown, and repairs to all of the machine would be costly in its current state. Management sees little reason to do so.

The Animatronics remaining pieces are nearly all positioned wrong, with the Head taking the place of where its Bird should be (although the Endoskeleton still contains traces of that Bird in its second head. Perhaps this was an earlier model?) and the left eye on the Animatronic being one from another Animatronic, with studies into the machine showing a high match with Toy Freddy. Due to the lack of pieces, the Animatronics endoskeleton is left open and exposed, showing the tail being placed in the position of the arm and vice-versa. The Endo-Skeleton is heavily rusted and in need of oiling, the parts inside not performing anywhere near optimally and especially loudly. In addition, the machine has an extra arm attatched on the right side of its torso, its origin unknown and its condition unuesable for even scrap.

The Animatronic is deceptively lightweight, being able to move at speeds that it should not for its damged frame and status as a "Performer/Child's Toy/Take-Apart-And-Put-Back-Together Toy", reaching speeds that others constructed from its blueprint would not. The Animatroninc is able to mount objects regardless of Size, Condition and Motion, the feet of the Animatronic having some currently unidentified technology that allows for it to climb walls at the same speed as it moves on the ground. The level of technology shown in the Animatronic is unprecedented for something of its status, the designer also currently unknown. The Head of the Animatronic, beyond having the usual software and hardware to detect criminals that is common with all the of the "Toy" range, has a remarkably high bite force of 5,000 psi, allowing for it to break bone and skin with minimal force. This design trait is highly unusual, being the highest bite force from any of the data we have recovered and over 100 times higher than its intended 50 psi from its blueprints. This strange trait of high kill-potential continues with the stray wires dangling from the machine, never sparking even though an unidentified power runs through the Animatronic. What the hell is going on here?

The Animatronic lacks the usual "Fazbear-Patented Battery Fazzpac v3.5" that was in common use for the machines of this time, and yet the Machine moves and acts (albeit jittery) unimpeded by a lack of electricity. This does not seem to affect the machine beyond sluggish movements and inconsistent speech, although that may be a trait independent of the power issues.

The machine speaks in two voices, with a highly female and highly male voice speaking in unison through one mouth, leaving the smaller one unused in the current state of the performer. This is a trait also unique to this specific Toy Foxy as the original blueprints the machine was created from had a specific variable for either independent voice. The voices are also highly different from the recovered vocal files, beeing highly skewed and altered to a near unrecognisable extent. In intervals with an unknown amount of time and reason between them, the voice will cut out into radio chatter of seemingly no importance or origin.

[Note: Come on guys, we need to start figuring this shit out. The amount of times ive had to write "Unknown Origin" today is silly. -Duan Dale Quingle]

Conclusion: Too much is unknown about the Animatronic in the present moment, and its design is made to kill. Further examination is required.

----------

The following is the audio recordings from the interview, transcribed into text by Mr Johnson Johnson.

The Interviewer in this audio is Head of Mechanics, Doctor John Smith.

[Begin Log]

The Doctor takes a seat on the chair in the interview room. In front of them is a table of unremarkable qualities, although it has a standard issue fan that is turned off and a company issued tazer. On the other side of the table is the Toy Foxy variant, sitting with its head facing slightly upwards and deactivated. Its mouth is hanging slightly open, although there is no movement from it. The room is silent.

Doctor John: "Greetings, Toy Foxy"

There is no response from the machine. Doctor John clears their throat before continuing.

Doctor John: "Are you listening, Toy Foxy?"

A twitch runs accross Toy Foxy. Doctor John notices this, but seems unnerved by the lack of response beyond that.

Doctor John: "...Listen, Toy Fo-"

A slam sounds as Toy Foxy hits the table with excessive force, making it groan under the force. The Machine has twisted and coiled around itself, although its face is directly infront of Doctor John's. The Doctor flinches back sharply, and the Animatronic grows closer. It starts approaching, the rest of its body lagging behind as it drags itself over the table, eyes mere centimetres away from the Doctor's own. The animatronic opens its mouth and speaks, although its mouth doesnt always follow its words.

Toy Foxy: "M̴͖͍͈̓͌͑̑m̸͈̮͙̻̄͆͝͝m̶̝͍̋̋͆͛̕ṁ̴͓͗̈y̸̦̣͚͙̓̍̐͒̑y̶̢̯̖͓͐y̴̭̙̦̞͋͋̃ÿ̸̟̟̪́ ̴͉̱͗͑̈́N̶̳̠̹̗̽̉̅̀͝a̶̹͍̙̅̒͘a̴͔̜͆a̷̩̋̂̒m̷̩͐͂́͆ḙ̶̰̅́͝ę̴͐e̵͖̜͗̽̆ͅ"

The machine slams its hand into the Doctor, pinning them against the wall just next to the room's door and winding them.

Toy Foxy: "Ī̵͉̊i̵̮͚͆i̶̦̓ͅi̴̹̦̓͝ͅĩ̵͙̾̏s̷͙̆̇̔s̷̡͉͚͂̊s̸̺̾͘ͅś̷̖͌̈́ ̸̩͕͘M̸̠͕̗̐ą̵͎̤̂̓n̵̝͚̑̉͛͜n̵͖̽̚g̶̨̮̿l̴̡̪̂l̶͕̓̾e̸̬͑̓͝e̴̳̖̎͑ě̷̤̓̑"

[Note: From now on, Toy Foxy will be reffered to as "Mangle"]

The Doctor looks up in fear, and nods their head franticly. The machine seems satisfied with this and twists around a full 180 degrees, slinking back to where they started. The Doctor takes a moment to catch their breath, but does the same, although they keep the Tazer far closer this time.

Mangle: "n̵̢̔n̷̤͒n̵͕͗O̵̱͠ǒ̵̖ȏ̵̮o̷̖͛Ò̵̧O̵̬̕w̶̤̅w̶̟̽ẉ̷̌,̶̫̈ ̸̥̀w̵̛̯ḥ̵̾h̴͍̒ḧ̴̩́ǎ̵̠ţ̸̛t̷̗̚t̷̜̀ ̴̨̓ḋ̷̖i̵͓̍i̴̫͘d̸͖̃ ̵̬̓y̴͙̅ő̶̫u̸̎ͅ ̷͖̄w̶͎̑â̷̩a̶̺͊ñ̸ͅ'̸̥̃t̵̳̀ ̷̢̈́f̶̝̅r̶̲̆r̴̖̈́ō̷̹o̴͈̿o̴̯͒m̴̕͜ṁ̸͖ṃ̷̄ ̸̱͝m̶̥͑e̴͖̋ȅ̸̡ẹ̶̀?̷͙͘"

Doctor John: "W-Well i just... im here to ask..."

Mangle glares uninterested throughout this stutter mess, although their eyes do grow focused and unfocused at random, almost dilating at times. The Doctor picks up on this thank god and states their question with as much confidence as they can. Unfortunately, it was not one of the questions they were supposed to ask, clearly being ad-libbed.

Doctor John: "Wewerejustwonderinghowyouendeduplikethisisall"

Mangle has a range of emotions flash across their face, and their mouth snaps harshly whilst they think. Doctor John is clearly regretting this job fearful of this reaction, and hold the tazer infront of their chest like a weapon, the dangerous end pointed at the emotional(?) machine(?). The moment lasts a few seconds, and Mangle ends it with a far more determined expression, although its twisted and contorted. They sit up a little straighter, their posture a little better and their exposed Endoskeleton head starts being rapped against the table in place of useable hands.

Mangle: "L̶̝̾ǫ̸͒o̷͓͒o̶̙͝O̴̯͊k̷͔̈́ ̵̙̀f̶̹͋o̵̰͐o̴̯̚r̷̩͌r̵͓̎r̸̠͂ ̷̖̊Ȁ̶͚f̵͎͌f̶̮̍f̷̼̈́t̷̫͂ő̸̜ô̴̪o̶̱̎N̵͎͂Ň̵̘N̸̳̾n̸̦̽"

The expression upon Mangle's face shows they have history with this Afton, and that pushing them further about this may not be wise.

Doctor John: "I- I think i understand? He... he did s-something to you?"

A nostalgic face appears on mangle, and their eyes glow into a set of blinding white beams for a few seconds, although it dims quickly. Their smile seems less forced, more human and Doctor John picks up on it. Going completley off script, they decide to ask another question.

Doctor John: "You... You weren't always like this, were you?

Mangle freezes in place, mouth still open and eyes half blinking. A radio-like noise can be heard, although its filled with indiscernible noises and words with no meaning or rythmn.

Doctor John:"M-Mangle? All... All good in there?"

Mangle jolts up and lunges towards Doctor John, who barely manages to pull the switch on the Tazer before a strong jaw smashes shut over their skull. They let out a sequence of horrified breaths, watching the Animatronic freeze over them before returning to some semblance of what its original pose as Toy Foxy would have been. It is frozen in place, although its one coloured eye is twitching rapidly and glaring at the doctor.

The doctor crawls back and flees the room, keeping eye-contact with mangle the whole way and holding the taser like a lifeline. They make it out the room, slam the door shut and watch it lock before running off screaming.

[End Log]

After the events of the Interview, Mangle collapsed into a pile of parts and wires, potentially retaining its conscious.

No one will go in to check.
