Chapter 1: The Tattoo

Notes:

Im so sorry but for now this Fanfic is at a standstill- Hopefully I will come back to it at some point but for now I just don’t have the type nor the desire to continue it. My health is in really bad condition and I am very tired most days so writing a chapter AU was a bad idea on my end. I hope you all sincerely understand. ~Bri

Chapter Text

Chapter One
The Tattoo

In this world we all have a soulmate and an enemy. We are born with two tattoos on each arm, one tattoo matches your soulmate's tattoo and the other matches your worst enemies. Most people go through life not knowing which is which until it’s too late. However my soulmate is my enemy.

Hi my name is First Kanaphan and I’m 24 years old, you might be a little confused. Let me start from the beginning. When babies are born they get checked for two tattoos, if they don’t have any or only one tattoo they will then be killed because they are seen as abnormal in our society and those are the rules.

When I was born I was immediately checked for both tattoos when the doctors started looking they came to a shocking discovery. My tattoos are the same, my soulmate is my enemy. They broke the news to my mom and told her that I was going to be killed. She pleaded and begged and said the rules only apply to babies without or only one tattoo.

Here I am… 24 years later. I’ve been looking for a person that has the same tattoos as me since I was 15 but no luck. Though it’s rare that people can tell the difference between their soulmate or enemy, it does happen. There’s been three people to find their enemy, although it has been years since the last one. When you find your enemy you are filled with so much rage you end up fighting to death. Whoever survives their enemy tattoo disappears.

Everyone has told me I shouldn’t look for my pair, but there’s someone out there with the same tattoos as me and I’m ready to face them regardless of it killing me…or them.
