Tsukasa groaned, looking at his notes as he slumped down in his chair. This time of the year was always so stressful, with work and studying always clawing at your back.
“Ahh.. I can’t remember anything..” He complained out loud to himself, looking at the assignment given to him in his book through lidded eyes. Tsukasa swore he was about to fall asleep..
Suddenly, he jolted back up, fully alert as he heard a knock on his bedroom door.
“Come in!”
Saki opened the door with a concerned expression, looking at Tsukasa, who was slowly beginning to doze off again.

Saki rushed over to catch Tsukasa as he almost fell off his chair from dozing off, glancing for a second at the amount of notes and papers scattered across his desk.

Tsukasa slowly stood up, rubbing his eyes as he looked down at Saki. “I.. I need to study.. Or else I might not be able to..”
Saki catched Tsukasa yet again, almost barely before he hit the floor as he suddenly passed out from sleep deprivation.

Saki sighed as she walked out of his room, turning around to look at him as she slowly closed the door, making sure to not make any noise.

Tsukasa groaned as he slowly opened his eyes, desperately trying to get them to focus.
“I don’t even know what happened last night..” He muttered to himself as he sat up on his bed.
Tsukasa mumbled incoherently as he picked up his phone. “Must have fallen asleep or something..”
“Ah well. I have school today, don’t I?”
“God, I wish it could be the holidays or something already..” He ranted to himself as he got his uniform out of his closet and began to get all ready for the day.
“..Oh, what use is complaining? I’m not gonna be a future star if I let something as trivial as homework get in the way..”

Tsukasa groaned quietly as he slumped over his desk. Just when will this class end already..?
He suddenly shot back up as he felt a rush of energy course through him. Tsukasa quickly grabbed his pencil and jotted down some notes in his book.

“So.. Your sister told me about what happened last week. I was pretty concerned for you, to say the least.. So! I’ve made a little something for you!” Rui explained to him happily, smiling widely as he waited for his response.
Tsukasa quickly sat up straight, his expression changing from tiredness to shock. “W-Wait, you mean.. Hold on. What exactly did you make?!”
Rui only laughed softly in response. “Follow me, Tsukasa-kun. It’s a secret, we can’t let anyone else see!”
Before Tsukasa could protest or even react, Rui quickly got up from the bench and grabbed him by the arm, dragging him behind him.
“Wait! Rui, where are you taking me?!” He exclaimed, making some of the other students turn their heads towards the duo.
“It’s just a little place I stored my invention, it’s not like I’m going to make you do anything dangerous or something like that. Hehe.”
Tsukasa sighed as he let Rui drag him along. He really didn’t have a choice, now did he?
“Alright, here we are!”
Tsukasa let out a sigh of relief as Rui let go of his arm.
“Hey, where are we?!” He panicked, looking around.
There was absolutely nobody here! Where was everyone?! He didn’t even know this place existed on the rooftop!
Rui laughed, patting Tsukasa on the back. “Don’t worry, it’s just a secluded area up here. Hardly anyone comes around here. Anyways..”
“So, where is this ‘invention’ of yours?”
“I just hope you brought your homework with you, Tsukasa-kun!” He giggled quietly, heaving a decently-sized robot over to where Tsukasa was standing.
By decently-sized, it means being half the height of Tsukasa.
“Huh?! Rui, what is this thing? Did you seriously build another robot?! We already have Robo-Nene!” He exclaimed in surprise, looking down at the robot and then back up at Rui.
“Oh, it’s nothing! I built it especially for you! You don’t even know what it does yet!” He grinned at Tsukasa, picking up the robot and putting it on a nearby bench. “I called it Shukudai when I was building it, but you can call it whatever you’d like! After all, you’ll be keeping it of course. It’s a gift from me to you!”
Tsukasa smiled a bit at the gesture. “But what exactly does it do?”
Rui winked mischievously at him as he flicked a lever on the back of the robot. “Saki told me that you were having trouble with your homework. So, I made this little thing to help you!”
“That’s not telling me anything!”
“Well, I’ll just show you what it does then. Give me your bag, Tsukasa-kun. Surely there isn’t anything private in there. Hehe.”
Tsukasa sighed, taking off his bag and handing it over to Rui. “Just don’t steal or break anything, alright?!”
“Don’t worry, I won’t.” Rui teased, opening it and rummaging around for a few seconds. “Aha, perfect!” He smiled widely as he took a sheet of Tsukasa’s homework out of his bag. “Watch and see!”
“Wait, Rui! What are you doing with that?! If you destroy it or something like that, my teacher is going to be so mad..” He trailed off, quickly grabbing back his bag from Rui.
“Oh come on, I’m not going to do anything bad! Why so paranoid?” Rui laughed softly, before dangling the piece of paper in front of the robot.

“Of course you do.. Aha! It’s done!” Rui beamed, watching as the homework got ejected back out of the slot.

Rui laughed softly at his reaction. “Well, first of all I put cameras inside of it, then I fed the camera footage into a text and image recogniser, then it gets the answers from the internet-”
