“Once upon a time, fairies existed; they are known to be kind towards creatures that show them kindness, protective of their own race, and ruthless when in battle. There are 7 types of fairies each with their own color. Similar to us, they are categorized by their visions and it also represents the color of their wings. Teal for anemo, blue for hydro, red for pyro, yellow for geo, purple for electro, green for dendro, and a lighter shade of blue for cryo.”
“What about those with white wings?”
“What do you mean white wings? They don’t exist.”
“They do! I swear I have seen two!”
“Oh? Are these similar to the walking cabbages you say I cannot see too?”
“I don’t know… You look like you don’t believe me…”
“Okay okay enough story time… Take a rest for now.”
“Goodnight.”

The kingdom has fallen into a state of panic after the death of their queen that has guided their nation. In the middle of the war, where an army without a king is like a chicken without its head. A new successor must take the throne.
Without the citizens knowing, their previous queen actually had a twin sister, the one who manages martial matters. Although a new beacon of hope was at sight, the grief that the deceased sister would never fade. As they say, only time will heal a broken heart. Fortunately, two creations were made even before the war. Both puppets instilled the belief that they were made for only one purpose and it is to rule their nation.
Their creator was too wounded and they understood that it is their time to step up. Their creator thus agreed to be the one to judge who is the rightful heir to the throne. “The next battle will happen next week. We have been able to fight with our capable soldiers but I am not capable of leading them because that is the responsibility of my sister,” she handles herself with such calmness that it was hard to imagine that she was just crying earlier.
“Prove yourself, even if you guys do not pass. I will be the one to lead the nation until one of you passes my tests. The electro gnosis is in a safe place,” she looks at Raiden and Kunikuzushi with a piercing gaze as if the test is already starting. “Both of you are dismissed,” she waved them off.
As the first puppet to have been made it was very disappointing that their creator made another with a splitting image of herself. Kunikuzushi looks at Raiden’s poker face and scoffs. Raiden took notice of this and glared at Kunikuzushi.
‘The only thing I need to do now is surpass her expectations’
By that both of them each on their separate ways.

In a garden inside the palace of Inazuma. There resides being with the most beautiful long hair and perfectly golden eyes. The creature wears a full-on black outfit with accents of gold but his back is bare. This is one of the most famous rumors that runs around the servants in the Inazuma Palace.
Kunikuzushi is walking towards a white greenhouse that he had maintained for all these years. As he opens the door he was greeted by a fairy with one wing. The fairy is sitting on a branch while looking at the only opened window in its cage. He still remembers the day Kunikuzushi captured the fairy like it was yesterday.

His troops destroyed and burned all their homes. There were a lot of fairies that fell down from the sky because of the thousands of arrows that rained on them as they tried to fight back.
“Prioritize the annihilation of these creatures and leave none of them alive,” Kunikuzushi commanded and the soldiers got to work.
These fairies were becoming a real threat to them because of the increasing amount of vision wielders they have. Each fairy has their own vision, their wings represent them.
He was supposed to just stay in one place while his soldiers kill them all. I don’t have to get my hands dirty when others are willing to do it .
Huhu… Huhuhu
Until he heard someone cry. It was a weak one that he was even surprised that he was able to hear it. He followed the sound and it led to the forest where the ambush began. Kunikuzushi is on high alert because who would have survived that?
Huhuhu..
The sound keeps on getting softer this was his sign to hurry up the search.

And then silence. Kunikuzushi, with his eyebrows furrowed, looked for the source of the sound until he sensed a killing aura behind him. He was not a general for nothing. He parried the sword that almost beheaded him and took a look at the enemy. The enemy wears a hood and is masked but he can easily distinguish the killing intent behind those golden eyes.
“An assassin in this time and place? Good, I was needing someone to kill time for a while now,” Kunikuzushi leaps and summons condensed electricity in a form of a whip to capture the assassin.
The assassin steps back and attacked Kunikuzushi with slashes of golden saucers. To Kunikuzushi’s surprise he was almost sliced in half because he was distracted by this newly found power. It surely is not geo…
Kunikuzushi attacks the assassin with his whip at an abnormal speed. The assassin clearly had a disadvantage and focused more on defending. The sky turned gray as Kunikuzushi tries to send thunderbolts to the assassin while preoccupying the assassin with his whip.
He gathered enough energy and called upon the lightning but to his surprise the assassin flew and dodged it. The assassin was a fairy and with white wings too! Kunikuzushi then decides to summon another whip and tried to wrap it on the assassin. He knows the importance of white-winged fairies if he sees one.
This took the notice of the fairy and tried to parry with their sword. Unfortunately, the whips wrapped around it and took the sword to give it to their master. The fairy was obviously a lot more enraged and flew towards Kunikuzushi.
“You shouldn’t let your emotions take over your self in battle, you royalty trash,”
The assassin summoned golden vines to grow from the general’s feet. Kunikuzushi lost his balance that made him lose the grip he had on the sword. This was the waited opening that gave the opportunity to the fairy.
Kunikuzushi smiled in delight.. A smile of a predator that knows they will have a full stomach soon. “Got you,”
What may have been seen as Kunikuzushi trying to deactivate his skill was actually because he actually planted the whip below the ground to prepare for a counter attack in case it happens. Unaware of this, the fairy was about to attack but then he was wrapped around an electro rope and electrocuted to the point of almost passing out.
“Argh..” Kunikuzushi was surprised to only hear a grunt from the fairy especially when the other victims of his electricity died in just seconds.
“Now let me see who you are..”
The general removes his hood and masked and there it is… The most beautiful pair of eyes that he looked at. Although with a murderous gaze this creature is beautiful. He noticed the long braided hair behind the fairy. Is it a female? The fairy tried to bite down his hand but was electrocuted before it happens.
“For the past 5 centuries, there were no white-winged fairies that have been recorded to exist,” Kunikuzushi grabs the braid of the fairy as he tries to examine its face. “I command you, tell me, who are you?”
The fairy was burning with anger and that much was obvious from the way it looked on Kunikuzushi. All of sudden Kunikuzushi felt a sharp pain in his abdomen and saw that the fairy materialized a dagger and stabbed him. The fairy then kicked the knife embedded inside the general that made him lose his grip on the fairy. It was a sign to escape at last and tried to fly away. ‘Tried’ because the moment the fairy tried to fly away Kunikuzushi disappears in flash and reappeared behind the fairy.
“You have made me angry,” said Kunikuzushi with a low voice and it was peculiar that even if he said he was angry he was smiling with his eyes screaming murderous contempt.
The fairy summoned the golden vines to ground Kunikuzushi but before it captures the general he already destroyed them before it gets to him. The fairy summoned multiple saucers to slice the general off but all of them was destroyed.
“Struggle all you want,” Kunizushi closes the distance between them and he grips the shoulders of the fairy. “You won’t be able to escape me,” he then slammed the golden-haired fairy on the ground.
“Argh… Get off me!” the fairy finally spoke.
This caused a sudden sense of achievement within Kunikuzushi and he decided he liked this feeling. “You know, I am pretty curious,” Kunikuzushi grips the fairy’s left shoulder and grabs its left wing. “Would be able to fly…” the fairy realized what he will do and struggles out of his grip. “If you only had one wing?” there was this satisfying crunch of ripping that one wing from the fairy and there he heard the very sound the general was looking for.
“AAAAAAAAGHHHHHHHHH!!” the fairy tried to scratch the arms that held him down as he winces of the pain because he lost the one thing that would lead him to the answers he seeks. The fairy glared at the general who was smirking as he see him struggle.
“What a pretty thing…” the general even boasted and let the fairy take a look of his once wing. The fairy refused to cry even if tears are almost ready to fall.
‘There is no hope for me now’
The fairy then decided right then and there that he needs to end his life. Fairies, or soldier fairies in particular, have a suicide system with the choker that they are assign with. The only thing they need to do is pour a little bit of power inside the choker and it would explode. The fairy tries to pour power inside the choker until–
“Nope, I know what that look means,” Kunikuzushi then chops the nape of the fairy that caused the fairy to fall into unconsciousness. “You don’t get to say when you die…” was the last thing he heard before… blackness.
