Strawberry Champagne

Summary:

Seonghwa's mother warned him to stay safe when he left for college. She drilled into his head to be cautious and keep a sharp eye out. Not everyone deserved his kindness. "Bad things happen to good people" she'd told him.

But that was years ago now, and he's got a wonderful job as an ASMR YouTuber, as well as a healthy, supportive friend group! So what if he hasn't been able to get a boy to call him back for almost two years? At least he's got a very generous secret admirer. One that grows more and more daring by the week. Surely he doesn't need to be concerned... Right?

Chapter 1: The Space Prince

Chapter Text

“Hello, Starshines,” a soft voice whispers, “welcome to MARS ASMR” the deep voice stresses each syllable in its soft tone. “Today, due to popular request, we’re going to be doing another boyfriend ASMR”.

The ASMR artist is named Park Seonghwa, he’s 23 years old, tall, handsome, and he just recently hit one million subscribers on his youtube channel. Which was a huge achievement, as he started this channel for fun back in college and now three years later he has fans all across the globe. It’s gotten to the point where his youtube channel has become a viable career path. Which is lucky for him as he was no longer able to attend college, for reasons he prefers not to speak of.

“Have you eaten today?” Seonghwa whispers warmly, his eyes sparkling as he stares at his partner through the camera.

Hongjoong can’t help the smile that blooms across his face at Seonghwa’s concern. The pink haired man was so attentive, no one in Hongjoog’s life paid him attention like Seonghwa did. He just loves how his boyfriend knows exactly what he needs to hear, no matter the time of day. “I’m waiting on it now, my love~” He coos back to the screen.

A sweet, long hum fills Hongjoong’s ears and sends delight tingling down his spine. Seonghwa has the most beautiful voice, no - everything about him is beautiful from the way his dark eyes sparkle like galaxies to the curve of his plump lips, his kind laugh… ah, Hongjoong could go on for days. He had the most perfect boyfriend in the world, really. “Have you eaten yet, darling?” He asks in return, wearing a smile only Seonghwa has gotten to see. One only Seonghwa deserves to see, if you ask Hongjoong.

“Me? Oh, I did,” Seonghwa nods, “I went to the sweetest cafe in Seoul today. They were holding a spring event for the cherry blossom trees. They made a variant of their usual strawberry cake that I love so much. This time they added a light, floral note. I wasn't sure if I'd like it at first… but it was amazing! Let’s go together next time, hm?”

Hongjoong giggled, barely containing a high-pitched and giddy squeal, he nodded enthusiastically at his boyfriend “Yes! Absolutely! I’ll buy out the cafe's entire stock of strawberry sweets just for you, my love~”. Hongjoong’s pockets were very deep, more like, unlimited actually.

Hongjoong was the 22 year old bastard child of a billionaire. He was the child of his father’s mistress, an easily disposable woman, unfortunately. As such he was taken away from his biological mother as a baby, and thrust into a cold uncaring household where his father attempted to mold him into the perfect son - one who could take after him and learn the calculated, cutthroat world of big business. The abuse and neglect he suffered for those first few years of life molded him into what he is now, a “monster” as his father liked to call him.

At the age of 4 Hongjoong killed his first nanny. It wasn’t his fault, really. She had been told to keep the chemicals locked away. It was simply an unfortunate accident that Hongjoong knew where she left her afternoon tea, and that she’d taught him not but two weeks earlier how to open bottles on his own. This incident was of course swept under the rug by his father. However, Hongjoong’s violence and bloodlust only grew as he aged into a man.

Kim Senior gave up after the third death at his son’s hands, resigning to simply clean up after Hongjoong and throw hush money at any witnesses. That included Hongjoong himself. In feeble attempts to placate him, his father threw his vast wealth at his feet, as well as anything else the boy could possibly desire; To the outside world Hongjoong was spoiled, but it was the only solution his family could think of.

For a time Hongjoong tried to channel his violent urges through art. Although he found he loved to create, the process did very little to curb his bloodlust. His art did get him a full ride to the most prestigious fine arts university in Korea, well it was either his art or his father’s reputation, it didn’t really matter to Hongjoong in the end. Unfortunately, after his first year at university, he began to spiral. No matter what he tried he couldn’t seem to stop himself from hurting others. That was until one night when he was sleep deprived and at his wits end, he was scrolling endlessly on his phone trying to keep his mind occupied. And he found a small ASMR channel on youtube with no more than 10 subscribers. Something about the man in the thumbnail had piqued his interest, so with bleary eyes and shaking fingers he clicked on his first “MARS ASMR'' video.

The quality was quite bad, if Hongjoong was being completely honest. That didn’t matter though, not when the sweet smiling face that greeted him made Hongjoong’s heart stammer against his chest like a caged beast. The room in view was softly lit, a few LEDs on a lower setting hanging from the ceiling. It framed the pretty man in a purple and pink glow. There were maybe a few candles on the table he sat behind as well, as soft, warm light was bouncing off his round face in waves.

“Hello Starshines,” Hongjoong startled for a moment, the man’s voice was much deeper than he expected. Especially for someone who looked so… soft. His long black bangs swooped in front of his eyes and framed his face but did little to conceal his beautiful, dark brown eyes that sparkled like gemstones. The soft pink lip gloss he wore shone softly in the candle light and complimented his honeyed skin tone beautifully, as did the fuzzy cardigan that draped over his lithe frame.

“I’ve heard you had some trouble sleeping lately.” The man’s voice instantly made Hongjoong’s tense body begin to relax. He’d never listened to ASMR before, he never had an interest in people smacking their lips, brushing random objects over a microphone, or breathing heavily. Even so, after just a few seconds of listening he felt like he might die if he never heard this man’s voice again.

“Yeah.” Hongjoong sleepily replies to his phone, staring at the man like he hung the moon and stars in the sky all by himself.

The voice coos soothingly, the delicate smile the man gives him makes Hongjoong’s belly do a little flip. “I’m sorry, my little Starshine. Why don’t we lay down and I’ll tell you a story, hm? Maybe a story about love?” Hongjoong nodded quickly against his pillow. He’d listen to anything this man said, even if it was something Hongjoong himself couldn’t stand.

“This story is about a lonely, kind-hearted prince and his journey to find true love.” The man held up a children’s picture book with pastel colors swirling across it. “Once upon a time,” the man’s deep voice whispered, “There was a prince who lived on a far away planet…”

The soft spoken man went on to tell the story of the lonely prince from a distant planet much like their own, who wanted nothing more than to help all the creatures in the galaxy. The prince traveled all across the galaxy helping creatures and people alike, going from place to place with little time to settle down, and even fewer companions who chose to accompany him. So his journey continued and the prince grew lonelier and lonelier until he reached the last planet in the galaxy. The planet was dark and cold and at first it seemed abandoned as no one responded to the prince when he called out into the darkness.

But then he happened upon something, there was a small broken creature huddled up behind a wall of ice. At first the creature lashed out at the prince, they had not known any kindness in their life before, so they didn’t know the prince only wanted to help. The creature shook as more ice fell around them. But the prince pressed forward, uncaring about his personal well-being, and wrapped the creature in a warm embrace.

The creature froze as the warmth from the prince seeped into its body, and slowly the creature began to melt.  In fact everything on the planet began to melt, by the time the prince pulled back the planet was completely different. It was warm, lush, and alive, and when the prince’s eyes returned to what once was the creature he gasped. Where the creature once stood

was a handsome prince who smiled at him before bowing deeply. The handsome prince introduced himself as the Prince of Aurora and explained to him how a curse had been placed over his planet.

A space witch had come to his planet one day looking for help, and the Prince of Aurora had turned her away and mocked her cruelly. So she placed a curse upon him and his planet, telling him that since his heart was cold and cruel, so too would his appearance reflect that. The only way for the curse to be broken was for someone who was pure and kind to melt the cruel prince’s heart, saving the planet alongside him.

“I know this might be selfish of me, but you must be dreadfully lonely from your journey…” The man said in the Prince of Aurora’s voice, “But won’t you please stay with me? I promise my entire heart and all it’s love to you.”

“And the space prince smiled through teary eyes and nodded.” A dazzling smile spread across the man’s lips, “Together with the Prince of Aurora, the space prince was never lonely again.” The book shut softly as Hongjoong attempted to keep his eyes open, to keep watching this beautiful pure-hearted man. “And they lived happily ever after.” The deep voice purred, finally lulling Hongjoong fully to sleep.

That was two years ago. That was the story that started their relationship and had Hongjoong head over heels for his prince. His Mars , as the man went by online. But it didn't take long for him to use his vast wealth and connections to find out every detail about his boyfriend, from his birth year (1998 just like him!), to his height (178 centimeters), to his given name (Park Seonghwa)! There wasn’t a single thing about his beautiful boyfriend that he didn’t know.

In such a short time Hongjoong had tamed exponentially, all thanks to his prince and his beautiful voice. Seonghwa’s ASMR videos not only helped him sleep, but they also soothed and calmed him into a more docile state. His violent outbursts had reduced dramatically, as well as their fatality. Sure he still had an accident from time to time, but it really only happened when people chose to get too close to what was Hongjoong's. But in almost all other regards, the two really are living that happily ever after lifestyle - well, they will be as soon as Seonghwa finally moves in with him, of course, but that will be happening soon enough.

Hongjoong's phone buzzes from where it rests on the desk next to his forgotten pile of homework and cooling coffee. He quickly snatched it up, opening the home security app. The camera feed covered every single inch of Seonghwa’s moderately sized apartment. It was one of his regularly scheduled alarms, signifying Seonghwa's return from the gym.

Hongjoong had every day of Seonghwa’s schedule memorized down to the minute. Every morning at 7 am sharp, Seonghwa left for the gym, and at 8:45 he would return. His schedule only varied on Friday, as the bakery near his apartment sold fresh strawberry muffins Friday mornings and Seonghwa couldn't help but get one, and of course the weekends when Seonghwa gave himself a break for relaxation, fun, and self care.

The pink haired man steps into his apartment, neatly hanging up his coat on the rack behind the door, and tucking his shoes in their respective cubby. A place for everything and everything in its place , was the phrase his boyfriend liked to live by. Seonghwa placed his muffin on the kitchen counter for later and entered his bathroom, peeling off the layers of athletic wear and dropping them one by one into the hamper.

Seonghwa's figure never failed to make Hongjoong's mouth drier than a desert in mid-summer heat. The man's long and delicate limbs, broad shoulders, and that little waist Hongjoong swears he would be able wrap his hands around. And as if all that wasn't sinful enough, the noises Hongjoong's greeted with as Seonghwa's long fingers roam below the belt sure are.

- - -

Seonghwa sighed as he stepped into the shower, the warm water washing away all the sweat from his morning workout. As he began to wash up he thought back to his morning at the gym and smiled bashfully. He had met someone, a very handsome man, a few years older than him. He had approached him so confidently and asked for his number, he just couldn’t resist granting his wish. He’d always had a thing for guys who knew what they wanted, and took it.

He bit his lower lip as he rinsed off the last bit of body wash on him. His thoughts took a very swift turn as Seonghwa thought about the man taking what he wanted from him . His fantasies were filled with strong hands that gripped his soft skin and left behind blooms of bruises. Before he knew it he was hard and aching to be filled. He let out a frustrated huff and grabbed the lube that he kept in the shower for these occasions. Coating his fingers, he rested his head against the cool tiles and began to stretch himself. He let his fantasies run wild as he stroked his cock and fingered himself, letting out loud whines and whimpers in the privacy of his bathroom.

After he had finished his business in the shower, he began to ready himself for the day. During his skin care routine, he thought about how often he had been masturbating as of late. Seonghwa was honestly a bit embarrassed by how often he had been these days but he had been in a dire dry spell for the past two years. His sex life was basically non-existent at this point and it wasn’t for his lack of trying. It was so strange, Seonghwa met a lot of men that seemed interested in him. He had even been on a few dates with some, but it never went further than heavy make out sessions and some over the pants action. Every single one of the men he had been interested in over the past two years had either ghosted him or told him they no longer wished to see him. (And they told him through text message of all things!) He at least had his YouTube channel to keep him busy, as well as his wonderful group of friends.

Once Seonghwa was satisfied with his hair and makeup he pulled on his fluffy robe and moved into his room to get dressed. He meticulously picked out his outfit, he had a video to shoot today, so he picked something soft and comfortable. Of course Seonghwa being who he was always liked to wear a pair of pretty panties while he worked, and today he wanted to wear one of his favorite pairs. They were pink lace and hugged the curves of his ass oh so nicely, he always wore them when he wanted a confidence boost. He moved to his underwear drawer with a skip in his step, only to find when he opened it the panties he wanted seemed to be missing. He was certain that the last time he did laundry he put that pair right at the front of the drawer, he pouted and huffed as he chose a different pair of panties and began to get dressed.

That was another strange thing that had been happening for a while; his things going missing. Seonghwa never used to think of himself as forgetful but he swears he’s lost more things in the past two years than he ever has. His clothes, cosmetics, photos, and other random bits and baubles. As if all that going missing wasn’t strange enough, Seonghwa swears his trash is disappearing, too! Seonghwa will go to put his trash cans out for pick up but find them mysteriously empty. He tried to play it off as the trash service coming when he wasn’t paying attention, but he sees the service come by the same day, and roughly around the same time, each week… yet, his trash is always gone before the trucks even show up.

Seonghwa tries not to think too much about it though, if he did he would start to feel paranoid and crazy. Instead, he finishes getting himself all dolled up and moves to his office. He’s been successful enough with his YouTube channel that he was able to convert his spare bedroom into a space for him to work and shoot videos in. He of course decorated the space according to his tastes, pinks, soft blues, light purples. And lots of soft lighting as well as candles to give the room a comforting and relaxing atmosphere.

He sits himself down in his recording space and opens his laptop. He goes through his schedule for the day and takes out all the necessary items for his shoot. He sets the camera up and presses record, settling back in his seat he smiles at the camera and waves “Hello Starshines.”

By the time he finishes up with all his recording it’s late in the afternoon. Seonghwa lets out a sigh and picks up his phone, he keeps it on silent while he records, so he always checks it afterwards. The pink haired man perks up as he sees a message from his best friend, Wooyoung. It had only been sent around 45 minutes ago, and was filled with his signature “charm”.

Gremlin (WY)

Hey slut, we’re going clubbing tonight. >:)

HwaSeong
I have a strong feeling that politely declining isn’t going to be an acceptable response.

It’s not like he really had anything to do, anyways. He didn’t have anything else to record, and this video wouldn’t be uploaded for at least three more days, so he had plenty of time to edit and work on a thumbnail. Maybe getting out of the house was the best solution for how weird he’d been feeling all day.

Gremlin (WY)
Ofc not! Hurry up, I’ll be there in 40.

“Be there in 40” he mumbled to himself with a smirk, so Seonghwa has at least an hour before Wooyoung arrives. That should be enough time to redo his skin care routine, switch up his makeup, and then lay out a few outfits to choose between. He’d learned the hard way not to get dressed before Wooyoung shows up, as the younger is quite picky on what Seonghwa wears when they go out together. “I wanna match, but like.. Not entirely, y’know?” Wooyoung had once said. Unfortunately, Seonghwa did know, and even less fortunately, he could never say no to Wooyoung.

Usually, a soft eyeliner that brought out the roundness of his doe-eyes, some light rouge on his cheeks, and his favorite lip gloss was typically all the make-up Seonghwa wore. However, on nights like these where he was hoping to lure a man home, or perhaps even follow a handsome man home instead, he liked to “whore it up” as Wooyoung so crudely put it. Sharp eyeliner that gave him more of a cat-like appearance, glitter dusted on his lids and cheekbones, and a more noticeable red tint to his full lips .

As he was sorting through his jewelry and going back and forth mentally if he should do more with his make-up, his doorbell rang over and over like someone outside was being murdered. The loud-trill echoed through his apartment almost non-stop. It could only be his menace of a best friend, the one and (thankfully) only Wooyoung.

Seonghwa swung the door open, and Wooyoung wasted no time pouncing on him. “You can’t just open your door like that! What if I was a murderer!?” He heckles letting out that shrill giggle that was unique to him.

“No murderer would spam my door-bell like you do. They’d ring once or twice and then leave when I didn’t immediately answer.” Seonghwa sighs, gently patting his friend’s back lightly. As Wooyoung made his way into the apartment, Seonghwa stood in the doorway for a moment. He peeks outside the entryway curiously, down the hall towards the elevators, then down the other side, “Wait, San isn’t with you? Are you two fighting again or something?” The elder calls back into his home. He can already hear Wooyoung shuffling around in his closet.

“Oh! No, he’s hanging out with Sang-ah. They have an assignment due I think. I dunno. They were boring so I figured we can go out and have some fun~” Seonghwa rolled his eyes and shut the door. He made his way back to his bedroom to join his best friend.

The two are able to settle on a semi-matching but not too matching outfit within a reasonable half hour. Seonghwa pleaded for something comfortable, lifting up his favorite oversized sweater as an example. Wooyoung just giggled and compromised by shoving Seonghwa into a corset.

The outfit is skimpy, and not even half as comfortable as Seonghwa had hoped to be tonight, but it’s fine because maybe it’ll help him finally break this dry spell. Just as he thinks they’re finally ready to leave, Wooyoung is cramming them both back into the bathroom, “where’s that expensive shit you got in the mail a few weeks ago?”

Seonghwa falters for a moment, blinking away his confusion, “The what?”

“You know, that Strawberry stuff that was like 200 bucks your simp sent you.”

Oh! That…” Seonghwa murmured, he had been getting interesting gifts in the mail for well over a year now. He had set up his P.O. Box thinking he’d maybe get a few letters from his subscribers, but to his surprise he had started to receive gifts from a so-called secret admirer almost immediately. The first two times he desperately tried to return the items to the sender, as they were so expensive. Things Seonghwa would never even consider purchasing in a million years, the price tag being all the deterrent he needed. Yet his secret admirer - or Simp, as Wooyoung referred to the stranger as - assured him in the letters he sent that it was no burden, and that he simply wanted to take care of Seonghwa and for him to have the best.

The most recent present was a luxury brand perfume, in a Strawberry Champagne scent. It was light yet sweet, perfect for both daily wear and an evening out. Seonghwa loved it, yet even so, he hadn’t gotten to wear it just yet. The heart shaped bottle just sat on his bathroom shelf with all the other perfumes he had accumulated from his secret admirer.

Seonghwa turned to his shelf of perfumes and gently picked up the bottle. Wooyoung snatched it from him which caused the older man to let out a wounded sound. The younger just rolled his eyes and removed the cap from the perfume. “Close your eyes and hold out your arms.” Seonghwa huffed and did as his best friend commanded, being doused in the sweet smelling perfume. Once Wooyoung was satisfied he recapped the bottle and put it back on the shelf. He turned back to Seonghwa with a smirk and said “Let’s go get your back blown out babygirl.”

Wooyoung drags him to their favorite club, Wonderland, which was perhaps the most popular gay club in Seoul. There was always a line around the block waiting to get in, but Seonghwa was lucky enough to always be on the VIP guest list. The perks of being a popular YouTuber! Wooyoung marched up to the bouncer with their fingers laced tightly together.

“Park Seonghwa, plus one.” He smirked and waved their laced fingers in the bouncer’s face. The bouncer just rolled his eyes and glanced down briefly at the list in his hand. He then unclipped the red velvet rope from the stanchion in front of the entrance and waved the two through, “Thank you~” Wooyoung cooed as he ushered the older man into the club.

Wonderland was always a lively scene. Glitter on the floor, bodies dancing  and grinding to whatever was blasting through the speakers, bits of confetti fluttered through lights that strobed in an array of colors. It feels like a party that never stops, and no matter how much Seonghwa dreads getting ready and leaving his home, Wonderland always makes it worth it.

“Drinks??” Wooyoung screams over the blaring music, trying to gesture to the bar in hopes Seonghwa understands.

“I’ll get ‘em! You find a spot for us!” Seonghwa yells back, unlacing their fingers and making his way towards the bar through the thick crowd. They’ve got a routine down by now. One gets the drinks, the other finds a moderately-secluded spot where they can people watch and hopefully lure in hotties. Wooyoung’s go-to is usually the second floor balcony, so Seonghwa is a little surprised when he turns around with their drinks and spots him in a small alcove. It was formed by semi-transparent glittery curtains and closer to the dance floor than they usually were. The younger man must be serious about getting him laid tonight if he was posting up that close to the crowd.

Seonghwa can feel eyes on him as he walks the floor, but he chalks it up to his outfit working its “slutty magic” as Wooyoung calls it. While he’d love to scan the room and perhaps find whoever’s interest he’s caught, he’s much more focused on making sure both the drinks in his hands make it to the table unaltered. He’s not looking to get drugged tonight and while he’s sure Wooyoung would have a great time with whatever creep decided to roofie him, he’s got a boyfriend (or two? Seonghwa’s not sure) waiting for him at home.

The table Wooyoung picked is a bit farther from the front with the main speakers but closer to the edge of the dance floor, so while they still have to talk loudly, Seonghwa doesn’t have to strain his throat. “Your usual,” Seonghwa says with a flourish, presenting his best friend with his drink of choice. Something fruity with far more alcohol than any one person should be able to drink in one sitting, especially a person of Wooyoung’s size. But the younger was the most stubborn person he’d ever  met and to quote him he was “built different”. Seonghwa’s drink is virgin, he’d never acquired a taste for alcohol, but it’s just as fruity and sweet. It has a fresh cherry on top that he wastes no time popping into his mouth with a noise of delight.

“Anyone catch your interest?” Wooyoung hums as he skillfully pulls the straw of his drink into his mouth with his tongue alone.

The pink haired man turns to glance around the room. The dance floor is packed nearly shoulder to shoulder with writhing bodies, sweaty, loud, claustrophobic… The bar is a little better, but only barely, people packed in attempting to flag down the bartenders. He pouts out his bottom lip, hoping for someone, anyone to catch his eye, but alas he turns back to Wooyoung with a pitiful shake of his head.

“The night is young, don’t worry. We’ll find someone to rattle your bones or I’ll fuck you myself!” Seonghwa could only snort at that as Wooyoung pressed a kiss to his cheek, choosing to focus on his drink for the time being instead of the idea of two bottoms playing rock paper scissors to see who has to top.

Almost an hour into their venture and Seonghwa’s had no luck, a few men approached their table. But most were only interested in Wooyoung, who rejected them with a sassy comment and a flip of his hair. But there was one man who came up who was solely focused on Seonghwa, he dragged him onto the dance floor and began to grind against him. Seonghwa honestly didn’t find him overtly attractive, he wasn’t really his type, but he wasn’t too bad looking and Seonghwa was desperate. The way the stranger's larger hands dug into his cinched waist was definitely doing it for him, however. It was a shame that just when things were getting good, some drunken idiot spilled their drink all over Seonghwa’s pretty pastel sweater.

Frantically, Seonghwa rushed back to his table with Wooyoung where his hands immediately went for Wooyoung’s thighs. “Whoa!” The younger man screeched his hands flying to Seonghwa’s waist, he ignored him and dug through his bag that sat between Wooyoung’s thighs. Finally he snatched his stain remover pen and darted to the bathroom, cursing under his breath. He didn’t see Wooyoung’s flushed face or hear the startled man shout after him “Warn a guy next time!”

Seonghwa wouldn’t warn him, but Hongjoong would .
