Chapter Text
I own nothing~
“…Stelle?”
“Hm?”
“What are you doing?”
“…healing.” The younger girl muttered as she nuzzled into a tense shoulder.
Doctor Natasha had been up to her elbows in her many patients’ needs, paperwork and a few Wildfire affairs that needed her attention. However, a familiar face had come in looking a little worse for wear during the midst of the chaos.
Nat had made a mental note to check on her favorite- Stelle. Yes, Stelle. She would check on Stelle right after signing off on a few discharges, but was wholly unprepared to have a weight draped over her shoulders soon after inviting her into the office.
“Healing?” The blue haired doctor tried her best not to let her voice waver. Just what was this woman thinking?
“Mmhmm. I’m recharging as we speak.” The younger girl then moved closer and gingerly wrapped her arms around Natasha’s waist. Try as she might, the shorter woman couldn’t stop the blush from slowly blooming onto her face.
“Stelle-“ a surprised noise then left the doctor’s mouth as she felt very curious hands ever so gently slide from her waist up and up some more until she had to redo her discharge papers thanks to her own hands becoming inconveniently clumsy just then. “St-Stelle, what-“
“I may be kinda- I may have lost a bet to March.” Stelle said into the shoulder she’d been nuzzling into. As she spoke, Nat failed to stop her hands and now they were full on groping her breasts. “Kinda drunk.”
Kinda? “And that makes it okay to-“ a small gasp made the shorter woman cover her own mouth. “O-okay, Stelle, I think you need to sit down.”
“M’kay.” Was all she mumbled before surprising Boulder Town’s beloved doctor by lifting her right off her feet and then stumbling back into one of the couches in Nat’s office.
“ Stelle !” Natasha yelped as she was unceremoniously plopped down onto the Trailblazer’s lap. “This isn’t what I meant, you…you oaf!”
“You’re right Doc.” Unfazed by the bluenette’s flailing arms, the younger girl again buried her face into the back of Nat’s shoulders. “M uch better.”
With her heart in her throat, doctor Natasha immediately stopped trying to swat the hands still holding onto her waist away and instead sighed heavily. “How much longer is this going to take?” Rather than use the precious energy she would eventually need to deal with everything else later, she decided to just sit there a moment.
“Almost done healing.” Stelle said into Nat’s back and Nat would swear up and down that she hadn’t had to just fight off a smile at the adorable mess under her. “Would go faster if you weren’t so stiff.”
“How can I not be?” Nat groaned. “Here I am, busier than usual trying to get people in the clinic discharged, writing out prescriptions, and then dealing with another spout between the Miners and the Vagrants- and then you, you-“
“You are very tense.” Stelle agreed, sounding sleepy suddenly. How did I not realize the smell of alcohol on her? Oh, Nat could smell it now! “But you smell good too.” As if she’d heard that last thought, Nat’s eyes widened. “Relax, Nat. I’m getting healing and you should too.”
“But this isn’t how you heal someone.” Nat knew Stelle wouldn’t see, but she still gestured in front of them. “It’s not even very comfortable- ah!” An unintentional squeak left her as Stelle once again shifted and lay down with her arms never detaching from Nat’s waist. “You’re kidding. How did you-“
“There! This is even better.” Stelle’s dopey smile was palpable even though ruby red eyes couldn’t see it.
“Stelle-“
“Five minutes, Nat.” Stelle’s arms loosened a bit, which Nat was grateful for. Anymore surprise lifting was sure to leave her a tiny bit bruised, but still! Where the hell did this fool get off tossing her around like a rag doll?!
“You’re ridiculous.” She could only sigh around a ghost of a smile. No way she was actually enjoying this…
“Hey, Nat?”
“Yes, Stelle? You’ve got two minutes left.”
“Can you do me a favor?”
“…I’m afraid to say yes.”
“Turn around?”
The request was once again unexpected, but since she asked this time instead of moving her around like a damned Neanderthal, the shorter woman felt it was okay to humor her at least a little bit. Depending on how drunk she was, Nat doubted Stelle would even remember much when she awoke the next day.
So, without another word, Natasha sucked it up and turned around on the cramped couch. Only to stiffen up all over again when Stelle instantly moved forward to bury her face in her chest!
“Oh, for the love of-“
Before she could think to move, she felt Stelle’s legs tangle themselves with her own and at this point, she wasn’t even surprised when those lithe yet strong arms wrapped around her once more.
“Stelle please, I have things to dooo.” Doctor Natasha was never one to complain, let alone whine like a child, but something about this woman had her wanting to throw all propriety out the window.
“Add me to that list.” Stelle mumbled like the cheeky little rat she was and all Nat could do was scoff incredulously.
“In your dreams.” Her ears were absolutely not burning.
“You’re a lot happier about that in my dreams.” Stelle chuckled and then groaned when she felt a sharp pinch in her side. “Okay, you asked for it. Now you’re not allowed to move until I wake up.”
“I didn’t ask for anything! You can’t do this.” Nat then tried to move, hopefully catching the drunken Trailblazer off guard, but only managed to wriggle herself further under the taller girl. “Stelle, I swear if you-“
The Trailblazer’s lips were the very last thing Nat thought would ever shut her up.
She sucked in a surprised breath and as her stomach exploded into millions of butterflies, she felt Stelle’s lips curve against hers. “There we go.” Another lazy kiss that tasted heavily of strawberries soaked in alcohol. “I figure I would share some of my healing with you. You deserve it.” And another kiss that made Nat’s head spin.
Without another word, the silver haired trailblazer leaned back and focused a smile unlike any smile Nat had ever seen and then buried her face back into the crook of her neck.
It left the renowned doctor’s entire face red and her heart racing.
