Bite Me! (I'd rather you do that than hug me, idiot...)

Summary:

When Uzi's actions really, like, actually HIT her, about what she did at camp, she's not exactly doing okay. Panic attacks left and right, her subconscious systems replaying events as she sleeps, she's clearly having it rough.

Denying she needs help and repressing her trauma is the best way to avoid dealing with a problematic situation involving mega creepy organic/mechanical transformation. Trust her, she's like.... An EXPERT in problem-solving.

Yet, when N keeps getting worried, more worried than he probably should for the little angsty teen, Uzi finds herself outright avoiding any conversation regarding her feelings. N wants to help his buddy, but she's making it so hard...

Though, when an unlikely creature leads them to confront a series of mysteries, they're forced to face their repressions head-on, leading to a heap of drama, realisations and fear. But, maybe, negativity isn't the only thing they can find when they look into the darkness.

Will these two goobs sort it out through their really epic friendship? Will someone snap and potentially ruin it? Why's Uzi so closed-off? Who's gonna have an edgy breakdown next? Why's N blushing so often? Find out in this Problematically Angsty Fanfic! :D

Notes:

Hey, fellas! I'm back, after a long while, so I'm glad to be here with you all and to feed y'all some angsty goodness! Have a great day/night!

Chapter Text

Uzi grunts, angrily, as she fiddles with a tiny screw that's lodged in the nozzle of her newly crafted Railgun, after she'd lost the other one way back with that stupid, weird... Holo-Snake-Crab J/Cyn/Eldritch Horror thing. She'd been outside, sitting against the Landing Pod N and Miss Murder Jerk crashed their way onto this planet in, fumbling with a thin hook she'd made out of scrap metal lying around, just trying to dislodge the annoying little screw she needed that was accidentally dropped in the nozzle. Uzi's nearly reached her damn limit...

"C'mon, you stupid- Just- Argh! Get outta there!" Uzi's frustrated shouts could probably be heard from inside of the three Doors back at the bunker. She tips her gun's nozzle to face the toxic, snow-clad ground and bangs on the back of it, like she'd repeatedly been doing. For an hour. Finally, she'd had enough. Quickly standing up, her black leather boots heavily smashing against the snow as she does so, she lifts the gun above her head and sends it shooting towards the ground, at a speed likely capable of punching through one of her dad's stupid doors.

"Ah-Woah! Eeeasy there, Uzi! You don't want your cool murder laser broken, do you?" N's usual, chipper voice rings into Uzi's audio receptors as his white, durable, expertly-crafted, plastic hand reaches underneath the gun before it hits the ground, saving it from destruction.

Uzi frowns, crossing her silver, shiny arms as she glances away, mumbling in irritation. "Mph, shoulda just let the stupid thing fall ..." Uzi rolls her digital, violet eyes as she idly kicks at the snow. N chuckles, dismissively waving a hand.

"Ohh, don't be like that! Here!" N tips the Railgun upside down and bangs on it, like Uzi did, with one good hit to the back of it. The teeny, little nuisance of a screw rattles as it bounces it's way out from the nozzle. Uzi stares, eyes hollow in disbelief, arms hanging at her sides. N pats her head, smiling innocently as he hands her the gun. "Easy fix! Say, how long have you been out here? Heheh, it's nearly sunny out! And you know what that means~!" N holds a finger up, eyelights displaying a closed-eyed expression as he continues holding that innocent, little smile. "Haha- guaranteed death. So, I'd get back to your room if I were you! We'll figure out a bit more about your kinda cool/gross organic horror stuff tomorrow, though, okay?" N smiles warmly as he stands on the ledge of the flight pod, giving a thumbs up.

Uzi continues just staring at her gun, before sighing deeply and returning the thumbs up."Yeah, dude, gotcha..." Uzi then turns on her heel and begins speed-walking back to the Bunker, angrily banging on the steel to let the door-guy know she's ready to go back inside.

"Hey, Uzi! How was the plot-required, kinda-bonding sesh goi-mph!" Uzi pushes her hand into the Door-Guy's metal face as she walks on by. "Shove it! And also bite me! I'm not bonding, you moron!" Uzi huffs as she walks down the hall and finds her way into her room. D-G probs said something, but she couldn't really care more than she had to, which was not at all. Uzi sighs, relieved as she finally enters her mega cool hang out space, AKA her room. She sits on her bed and stared up at her newly stolen-back-from-her-Mum's-insane-sketchy-room 'art' pieces and missing posters, along with the red strings, on her ceiling. She could add another one, but, her mental wires are way too fried to actually get up and start. "Ughh... Not going out in daylight sucks."

Far away, N hums as he energetically draws with his crayons, artistically illustrating him and Uzi as dogs. V glares at him, crossing her arms, bored. She'd instantly go out and cut that purple freak's head off, if N wouldn't literally kill her too, for doing it. Not that she cares for his feelings, but, N being mad, it just... Doesn't sit right. Not at all. So yeah, V just huffs as she watches, totally only holding back from killing N too, coz that's... Not gonna help her find Cyn, or that little Doll nutcase. That's why. Mhm.
