Chapter Text
It wasn't rare for Mori to call them into his office. Infact, it was pretty common for them to be called here. So, Chuuya was not worried, he expected Mori to give them a mission like always.
Nothing special.
As he and Dazai walked towards Mori's room, Dazai already had his serious expression on his face, so different than his usual childish behaviour.
Dazai pushed the door without knocking, which didn't surprise Chuuya. The boy never knocked anyway.
"Dazai-kun, Chuuya-kun, please sit down." Mori said as they walked towards his desk, Elise was drawing something at the corner. She just sent them a glance before turning back to drawing.
"Why did you call us, Boss?" Chuuya asked, sitting on one of the seats, Dazai sat on the other.
Mori smiled at his question, his usual creepy smile making shivers run down Chuuya's spine. Dazai just scoffed at Mori.
"You see, Chuuya-kun, I need you two to infiltrate somewhere." Mori answered Chuuya's question. His smile still on his face.
"And what is that somewhere Mori-San?" Dazai said, he looked annoyed to be there.
"The hero high school known as U.A. located in Musutafu."
Chuuya's eyes widened at his words, they were going to go outside of Yokohama? Why?
"Why?" Dazai asked the question on Chuuya's mind, he wasn't surprised as Chuuya, but it seemed like he wasn't exactly expecting it either.
"You see Dazai-kun, I heard the villain group, League of Villains were trying to get through the barrier and conquer Yokohama."
"I still don't understand, I am sure we are much stronger than them. Also why do we have to infiltrate U.A?" Chuuya asked, confused.
"I am planning to take them out one by one, and get information on the new generation of heroes as I do so." Mori answered, then he slid a file towards them. Dazai took it and started reading, Chuuya got up and stepped closer to him to get a good look.
"You will be leaving two days from today, and enter the enterance exam which will take place a week from now on."
"I am expecting you to get in 1-A, Chuuya-Kun. Your ability is quite convenient for this year's exam." He looked at Chuuya, his eyes shining.
"And I expect you to get in class 1-B, Dazai-Kun, as your ability won't be much help. I am sure that I can trust you with this." They both nodded.
"Okay, you can leave now. The rest is written on the file." Mori smiled at them once again, resulting in Dazai scoffing him again.
They walked out of Mori's room together. Chuuya got closer to Dazai to see more of the file as they walked.
"Get away a bit, Chibi. You are breathing down my neck like a dog." Dazai pulled the file away, making an annoyed face.
"I'll kick your ass shitty Dazai. Just show me the fucking file!" Chuuya yelled, as usual his anger rising at the smallest jab from Dazai,
"Oh, now you are barking like one too, and you say you're not a dog." Dazai continued, making Chuuya angrier with every word.
Chuuya tried trowing a punch at Dazai, but the boy escaped the last minute, making him swing his fist to air. Then the brunette, who seemingy had enough of Chuuya's anger, shoved the file on Chuuya's hands.
Chuuya scoffed and opened the file, reading the contents inside as they continued walking. They would have to call their abilities quirks, and find new and less flashy names for them. Quite stupid in Chuuya's opinion. What's wrong with 'For The Tainted Sorrow'?
They would also have to be roommates, or rather housemates with Dazai, 'to ease the communication' whatever that means.
"I can't believe I have to live with you." Chuuya said, scoffing. Now finished with reading the file.
"Can't say I am happy about that too, Slug."
They kept trowing insults at each other as they walked out of the building, and until they had to seperate to go their own ways. Chuuya moved towards his apartment while Dazai went to his small shipping container.
When Chuuya arrived at his apartment, he started packing his things. The file also had listed the things they should take with them. They were told to not take a lot of clothes because they were supposed to buy them from there to blend in with others as Yokohama mostly had a differen't style of clothing.
Chuuya just hoped he wouldn't have to wear one of those t-shirts with stupid logos on them. Its not his style, really.
As Chuuya packed his things his mind started to wander on it's own. He started about their mission. He wondered how it would go. Would they encounter discrimination? No.. no one was supposed to know they were from Yokohama after all..
But what if they did? Would they get discriminated against? Bullied? (if they even could, Chuuya would snap them from the middle like a stick.) Would they get labeled as "villains"?
Villain.. what a stupid thing to label someone as.. what even makes someone a "villain"? Stealing? Killing? Those things could easily be dismissed depending on a persons motive.
Dazai would probably get branded as a villain even without people knowing about him being from Yokohama. His ability, after all, took away a person's humanity.. as people say. Chuuya didn't think so though.. to him No Longer Human was beautiful, calming.
It gave him a sense of security, a sense of comfort that if the god trapped in his body got too much he could always find comfort. Even if it came from Dazai, the person he l̶o̶v̶e̶d̶ hated, he hates Dazai so much. That idiot is a pain in the ass to endure and take care of.
He keeps forgetting to eat! Refusing to sleep! If Chuuya didn't take care of him the boy would have been probably dead. Oh how he wanted to just punch that pretty face of his.. wait what.. what is he thinking? Dazai? Pretty? Yeah, as if, his eyes (or rather eye, since one of his eyes are always bandaged.) are lifeless like a dead fish and so brown and so so deep, Chuuya could just get lost looking at them, he could drown in them..
His hair looks so fluffy that he just wants to put his hands on it.. his lips too, they, surprisingly, look so soft, so kissable..
Chuuya's eyes widened as he realised what he just thought about. He trew his bag on the ground, he has two days to get ready anyway,
"What the fuck.." Chuuya muttered, he walked to the bathroom and washed his face. Trying to get his reddened cheeks to stop doing that.
That mother fucker is not kissable, nor does he have pretty eyes or soft hair, he is just an annoying fish eyed suicidal maniac. Nothing soft or pretty or kissable about him!
He really needs to clear his mind, being with Dazai so much is beginning to take its toll on him..
_
Dazai smiled as he walked towards his shipping container-house. He even started to skip his steps a bit, no one knew why he was so happy, not even himself.
He opened the enterence of the container and got in, closing the door behind him. He may be living in a shipping container but he still wants his privacy, thanks.
He looked around just a bit before just laying on the mattress, it wasn't comfortable but Dazai was already used to it, he looked up to the ceiling of the container. He could hear the sound of the sea, as his 'house' was pretty close to the port.
He thought about going over to Chuuya's apartment but the boy would probably scold him for not getting ready for their 'trip' to Musutafu and close the door to his face. He chuckled a bit, thinking about it.
He turned to the side, he hadn't bothered to get out of his clothes, but his coat was bothering him, so he sat up for a minute, took off his coat, and laid back down on his side. He wasn't going to sleep, he couldn't anyway.
He just thought, thought about how it would be to live with Chuuya. Even if they were already together most of the time and Dazai was almost always in Chuuya's apartment the thought made his cheeks redden.
_
Two days passed quickly and it was time for Chuuya and Dazai to go to Musutafu, Chuuya and Hirotsu, who was the one to drive as Mori wanted them to arrive Musutafu without commiting loads of road crimes, were waiting for Dazai to arrive, the idiot was late like always.
"I swear I'm going to kick that idiot's ass when he comes here.." Chuuya muttered, yet it didn't escape Hirotsu's ears who just looked at him.
After two minutes or so Dazai finally arrived with a bag on his back, and he had a small hairclip with a small star on the end of it on his hair.
"Where were you, you idiot?! And whats with your hair?" Chuuya yelled at him, he just smiled in response,
"Awe~ is my dog worried about me~?" Dazai said, teasing Chuuya, who just kicked him in the legs.
"We should go now, Dazai-San, Chuuya-San." Hirotsu said to them, opening the door to the back seat of the car for them to get in and they got in the car, both sitting in their own corners,
"Where were you?" Chuuya asked Dazai again as Hirotsu started the car to drive to the boarder that seperated Yokohama from the rest of Japan.
"Was with Elise and Q." Dazai said, looking at Chuuya for a minute before turning to look out of the window.
Chuuya hummed before looking at the hairclip on Dazai's hair, "They put that on your hair, didn't they." he asked.
"I look beautiful don't I~" Dazai answered, looking back at Chuuya and smiling cheekily,
"It makes me wanna punch you in the face more." Chuuya said, looking away from Dazai, trying to ignore the almost unnoticable blush that was creeping on his cheeks.
"Chuuya is such a violent dog." Dazai pouted, acting like it actually hurted his feelings.
"I'm not a dog you fish eyed freak!" Chuuya yelled at him, turning to look at him again.
"You barking tells me otherwise." Dazai grinned, that stupid bastards smile irritaded Chuuya to no end. He just wanted to grip his collar and push him close to himself and kiss his grinning li- kiss him with his fist! Yep. Totally, he wanted to ram his fist right into Dazai's face.
"AHHGG I'M GONNA KICK YOUR ASS!!"
Their little quarrel came to an end as Hirotsu made a sound clearing his throat. He looked at the two young boys through the rear-wiew mirror.
"Sorry Hirotsu-San." Chuuya apologized, Hirotsu nodded at him and continued driving.
_
After a not-so-long but infuriating drive with Dazai annoying Chuuya until both of them fell asleep, (very surprising for Dazai to do.) they arrived at Musutafu and Hirotsu dropped them both off at their new apartment. Not so far away from their new school.
Chuuya unlocked the door, revealing a small but comfortable looking place.
Dazai looked around, taking off his shoes and getting inside.
Chuuya put their bags to the floor, following Dazai to look further inside their new home.
"Damn, this place is lame~" Dazai said, looking into the kitchen that was combined with the living room.
"You say that as if you weren't living in a literal shipping container."
Dazai ignored Chuuya and opened the small fridge, he pouted as he looked inside. "We need to go shopping soon, Chuuya~" Dazai whined.
"I know. We also have to buy clothes y'know."
"Ewwww! I don't wanna have to try on thousand of clothes, only for Chuuya to like the first one I tried!"
"Oh, shut it." Chuuya said, walking away from the kitchen and leaving Dazai alone in the kitchen.
He looked into the corridor and frowned, there were only two rooms. And one of them had to be the bathroom..
Did they have to share a room too!?
He opened one of the doors, revealing it to be the bathroom. He turned to the other door and opened it too.
Revealing their bedroom. Chuuya frowned. So they really had to share a room. Then his eyes catched a bigger problem.
There was only one bed.
Only one bed.
Only one. Were they going to be sleeping together?! Side to side? So close? No, no way. It wasn't like they didn't sleep next to each other before, they did. But they never slept on the same bed before. Dazai rarely slept anyway, let alone sleeping in a bed.
Dazai came into the room after him too, he looked in a bit before frowning a bit.
"I guess we will be sharing a bed, Chibi." Dazai said, not really looking troubled by the problem.
Chuuya just groaned, ignoring the thingly feeling on his stomach.
_
As soon as Hirotsu went back into Yokohama, he went to Mori's office.
"Boss." He said as he walked in.
Mori looked at him, Elise was beating him up because "Rintarou is such an idiot for sending Dazai out and now I cannot dress him up!"
"Here, I thought you would like to see this." Hirotsu said as he gave Mori his phone, a photo was open.
Mori's eyes shined as he looked at it.
Dazai and Chuuya were sleeping, in the back of the car, Chuuya's head was on Dazai's shoulder and Dazai's head was on Chuuya's head. They looked so peaceful, they actually looked their age and not like the children that had to grow up so fast.
Before Mori could say anything, Elise took the phone away from him and giggled like she went crazy.
"Rintarou! I want this printed out!"
Hirotsu could do nothing but sigh in distress at their creepy weirdness.
