foolish enough to be amusing.
so silly that even the sight of You seems hilarious, and I can't deny myself a chuckle.
You're so close, just a few steps away from me, but so, so far away.
You're holding on with all Your might, I know, but You keep leaning on Your own stubbornness.
I might stand up, shoving You in the shoulder and bringing You to your senses, but I can't.
"My Sunshine"
we're both out of breath.
we're both tired of this fight.
we both hate each other to death, but then where does that bitterness at the bottom of Your bright eyes come from?
where do I get this chest-ripping tenderness when I look at Your trembling figure?
You are soaked in Our blood and it is gradually filling all Your white garments with scarlet sores.
I am covered in Our blood and my dark garments are gradually becoming darker and darker, and the precious floors are flooded with a puddle of my blood.
You fall to Your knees, so close to me, and Your blade crashes right next to my head; a slight tension, as if You had nailed one of my disheveled braids with Your blade.
You're silent.
I'm even a little hurt.
we are drenched in the red of the setting sun - not the sun that you are.
You're the Sun.
You're the Light.
You're my Sun.
but You have not belonged to me for so long that I have no right to claim it.
"Helel"
Your voice sounds in the silence of the howling wind so unexpected that I even find the strength to be surprised.
and I stare at You questioningly with my faded, once as beautiful as Your eyes, waiting for another word from You.
My throat fills with a salty taste and it makes my throat painfully tight - not painful enough to cough and turn away.
I stare at You mesmerized and blink only for a moment, only to hear the sound of a body falling next to me, and then to see only the haze of a brightening sky on Your place.
The roof of your tower was perfect for Our last dance, don't You think?
I won't ask it out loud, I don't have the breath for it.
I simply turn my gaze lower, meeting Yours again, and smile as much as my shattered lips will allow.
You're so close that I feel I can catch Your breath on my skin.
You don't smile back at me, but I can see the corners begin to fill with tears.
And I begin to seek Your hand as reflexively as I did when we were children - and as if the decade of mutual hatred that separated us hadn't passed.
"Don't cry, my Sunshine"
my voice doesn't even compare to a whisper, just a murmur of lips.
You squeeze my palm so tightly, as if I might break free and run away at this same moment.
like you want to break every finger and maybe that's not so far from the truth.
but I don't care, not at all, because I feel like I can't breathe anymore and that this will be my last exhale.
I'm not gonna say mean things to You like I did just hours ago, no.
I don't have the strength to squeeze your hand back and I'm so, so sorry.
and my eyelids, heavy as they are, close by themselves, and I just don't resist.
I know that I won't make it to sunset even it so close.
and I'm really so, so much sorry my Sunlight.
"Good night"
