It had been about a week since mafuyu had ran away from home or more specifically her mother and her expectations, mafuyu was still quite unsure as to how she felt about the whole situation, somewhere inside her she still felt horrible about ignoring her mother and running off but at the same time it felt although a weight had been lifted from her shoulders. This however did not stop the guilt eating away at her.
After running off that day, Kanade had met her out in the rain and had comforted her as she sobbed into the smaller girls shoulder. Mafuyu enjoyed that hug, even with everything going on at that point in time, even with both of them standing in the pouring rain, the hug was warm and comforting and exactly what mafuyu needed, even after they had pulled away from each other mafuyu still craved the warmth she felt while being embraced by her good friend.
This past week mafuyu had been staying with kanade as she had nowhere else she could go. Mafuyu didn't mind although it did feel a little strange, not in a bad way or at least she thinks so, it was just a lot different from what she had been used to at home. At home it felt cold and uncomfortably quiet but in kanade's home it felt warm, still quiet but in a comforting sort of way.
Mafuyu had been laying in the other girls bed, she still felt worn out, kanade was over at her computer working on a song (or so mafuyu assumed). The purple haired girl started to drift a bit. She was so tired she didn't notice the footsteps that were approaching her until through her blurry vision she noticed the bright silhouette of her friend in front of her.
"Mafuyu, mafuyu are you still up? "
the shorter girl asked in a quiet tone in hopes to not disturb the sleepy girl in front of her. Mafuyu responded with only a small grown,
"Oh I'm sorry did I disturb you"
still trying to keep her voice to a minimum,
"No it's alright I wasn't asleep yet" mafuyu yawned between her words, kanade lifted her hand to brush away bits of mafuyu's hair from her face before taking her hand of the other girls face, lifting the blanket on her bed and climbing in.
There was a smallish gap between the two girl, a gap mafuyu had a strange urge to close she wanted that warmth again, mafuyu was so deep in thought that she hadn't noticed that she was starring.
"Mafuyu? Are you ok"
The shorter girl asked in a slightly concerned tone, mafuyu suddenly snapped out of her thoughts
"Oh yes I'm fine, just a little tired is all."
Mafuyu forced a yawn,
"Alright then, sleep well mafuyu"
Kanade said quietly before pulling mafuyu closer and hugging her tightly, mafuyu froze for a moment before melting into her touch. Slowly mafuyu fell asleep, comforted once again by the warmth of her best friend.
