Chapter Text
“Hey, can you take me to school tomorrow?” Olivia said as she entered Felix’s room without knocking.
“Hey! You need to knock! What if I was jerking off!” Felix yelled at his younger sister, not realizing how loud he was with his gaming headset on.
“Ew! Felix! What the hell?! Why would you even say that?!” Olivia said with a disgusted expression. Felix had already turned back to his computer game and didn’t hear her. “Felix! Take the headset off!” She added as she pulled his headset down from his ears.
“Olivia! You’re gonna make me die!” Felix yelled as he turned to her and his character on the screen was shot. He exhaled deeply as he pinched the bridge of his nose.
“Whatever, you shouldn’t be saying gross stuff like that to your sister.” Olivia huffed, crossing her arms.
“It’s not gross Liv, it’s natural and I’m just being honest. I’m a grown man, you need to knock first before entering, what if I had someone over.” Felix said.
“Grown man? Please, you are 19, just an overgrown child.” Olivia scoffed.
“You want to get to the point of why you barged in here?” Felix asked, furrowing his brow.
“I came to ask if you can give me a ride to school tomorrow.” Olivia said.
“Make Rachael take you.” Felix said.
“She can’t, she has an early class at the university. Unlike you who chose to stay at home and take classes online at the community college. Mom said you need to take me.” Olivia said.
“Sounds like the two of you already decided everything, why even ask me?” Felix said, rolling his eyes as he turned back to his computer.
“Fine then, I’m not asking, I’m telling you. Get your ass up on time tomorrow morning to take me to school.” Olivia said as she turned to leave.
“Such a trash mouth on you!” Felix exclaimed.
“Please, you curse way more than I do.” Olivia said.
“Yeah, but I’m grown!” Felix quipped.
“Says the guy wearing a pink kitty headset right now.” Olivia snapped back, rolling her eyes as she left the room.
“Damn dude, she just roasted your ass!” His online friend Seungmin said over the headset.
Felix picked it up from his shoulders and put it back on his ears asking, “What did you say?”
“I heard everything, and you really let your little sis just flame you that whole time.” Seungmin said, laughing.
“Whatever… And where are you learning your English from Seungmin? You sound like a middle schooler trying to be cool.” Felix said, annoyed.
“At least I’m pretty much bilingual, how do you say ‘hello’ in Korean again?” Seungmin asked, snickering.
“Shut up! I already told you I quit trying to learn Korean, it’s too damn complicated.” Felix said angrily.
“I bet if you had a boyfriend who spoke Korean you would be motivated to learn quickly.” Seungmin said.
“Is this your way of asking me out? Sorry, I don’t do long distance sweetie.” Felix said sassily.
“You know damn well that’s not what I meant. I wouldn’t date you if we were the last two guys on this earth.” Seungmin said.
“That’s a bit harsh… Me thinks thou doth protest too much, do you have a crush on me Seungmin?” Felix asked over the headset, smirking.
“A crush? On a loser living at home and chauffeuring around his baby sister? Definitely not.” Seungmin replied bluntly.
“Geez Seung, you are extra mean today. I don’t need you anyway, you haven’t seen me but believe me I am super-hot, I could get any guy here in Sydney.” Felix protested.
“Oh yeah, I totally believe you. I’m sure they're knocking down your door as we speak.” Seungmin said sarcastically.
“Check your discord bitch, I’m going to send you a pic.” Felix said, getting ready to take a selfie.
“Who is hitting on who now?” Seungmin said, chuckling.
“You know what, you are not even worth the arm strength it requires to take a selfie. Speaking of hitting on people though, are you getting any action there in Seoul?” Felix said, changing the subject.
“Action?” Seungmin asked.
“You know, are you getting any?” Felix replied.
“Any what?” Seungmin asked, even more confused.
“Dick Seungmin! Have you gotten any dick lately?” Felix said, practically yelling into the mic.
“Oh! God, why didn’t you just say that? I’m still learning all the English slang. I’m talking to a guy, what about you?” Seungmin said.
“The only guy I talk to is you.” Felix said, sighing loudly as he spun around in his gaming chair.
“Damn, that’s pathetic Felix… You gotta get out more.” Seungmin said.
“Yeah yeah, just ready up.” Felix said passively as he loaded into another match on the computer.

“I can’t believe I have to drive you to school when I don’t even live at home anymore, this is bullshit.” Chan said, hitting the steering wheel aggravatedly.
“Yo calm down aggro, the steering wheel didn’t do anything to you. Besides, it is just one week. Mom and Dad will be back in town next week.” Hannah said.
Chan looked over at Hannah as he complained “Why does your school have to start so early though? Like this is an ungodly hour, you don’t have any friends that could have given you a ride? Hell, take the bus next time instead of waking me up to dri…”
Suddenly the car jolted backwards as it made contact with something in front of it. Chan whipped his head back toward the road to see that he just rear ended the car in front of him in the parking lot.
Felix got out of the car in front and a slew of swear words escaped his mouth as he pointed to the bumper.
He hit the hood of Chan’s car, not able to see him well through the tinted windshield in the early morning light. “Oy! This is my mom’s car ya cunt! Why don’t you watch the road! Come on, get out of the car and see what you did. I hope you have insurance!” Felix yelled, turning back to the bumper.
Chan stepped out of the car apologizing profusely and Felix immediately shut up when he saw him. He was instantly mesmerized by Chan’s wide shoulders, black curly hair, broad nose and plump lips.
He then snapped out of it and back to being mad “What the fuck is wrong with you? Why did you accelerate like that? We are in a parking lot! I have my baby sister in the car you know, you’re lucky she wasn’t hurt.”
“I’m fine Felix! And I’m not a baby!” Olivia said as she got out of the passenger seat and came around to meet them at the back bumper.
Hannah got out quickly as soon as she saw her and said “Liv? I didn’t know that was your car! God, my idiot brother really did it now, even hitting my friend's car.”
“Your friend? You two know each other?” Chan asked.
“Duh! We had photography class together last year and have been texting all summer.” Olivia said rudely. “Hannah, we should hang out this week! There’s a new thrift store open on Darling Street; we have to go!” Olivia added.
“Yes! But I would need a ride, my parents are out of town until Sunday night.” Hannah said, frowning.
“Felix could drive us!” Olivia exclaimed.
“Excuse me? I'm not chauffeuring you two brats around.” Felix said, crossing his arms.
“The hell man? What did I do to you?” Hannah asked, scrunching her nose.
“Sorry, I’m just still pissed because your brother hit my mom’s car. I won’t be able to drive anyone since I will have to put the car in the shop now.” Felix said.
“I said I was sorry… I will make sure to pay for the repairs and why don’t I drive the girls too since I caused all this trouble.” Chan said sincerely.
“Yay! I still have to run everything by mom but I’m excited! Let’s hurry up and go in before we are late.” Olivia said as she linked arms with Hannah, and they ran off towards the main entrance of the school.
The two boys stood there silently for a moment before Felix finally turned to walk back to the driver seat.
“Wait! Uh Felix, was it? Let me get your number.” Chan called out after him.
Felix turned around and Chan had already caught up with him and was standing fairly close. Felix’s breath hitched in his throat as he bashfully tucked some of his neon blue hair behind his ear and asked “M-My number?”
“Uh yeah, you know… So, we can communicate about the repairs and the girls’ outing and all that…” Chan said, now suddenly feeling awkward himself.
“Oh, right of course…” Felix said, feeling stupid for thinking Chan was hitting on him. Chan held out his phone and Felix put his number in before they parted ways.

“You have to go with them Felix.” His mom said later as she prepared their dinner.
“What do you mean I have to go with them? Olivia is 15, she doesn’t need a babysitter!” Felix replied.
“You think I’m going to let her get in the car with some random college student unsupervised?!” His mom asked, raising her voice in disbelief.
“Just don’t let her go at all!” Felix exclaimed.
“I’m not going to punish her for you boys’ mistakes.” His mom said as she pulled something out of the oven.
“My mistake? He hit me!” Felix whined.
“All the more reason that you need to ride with him. Make sure he is paying attention while driving my baby around.” His mother said.
“Olivia is never going to go for it. She doesn’t want her older brother tagging along.” Felix said.
“She will go for it, or she won’t go at all. Now stop talking back to me and do as you are told.” His mom stated firmly.
“Yes ma’am…” Felix replied, defeated.
