Chapter 1: They still hate each other, right?

Chapter Text

König runs through an alleyway, his boots heavy on the wet concrete as he leans in to talk on his comms, “Enemy is not far, I will not be long. I will wait for exfil at the discussed location. We will leave at 0100 sharp.” He turns off his comms when he gets the okay from who he commands, keeping his blade at the ready. He feels something hit him like a truck, shoving him down a flight of stairs and yelling as he tries to fight the entity off of him, but the force is almost as big as he is and gravity works against König. He finally shoves the beast off and leaps up, getting to catch the huge metal doors swinging shut above their heads and whipping around to face who shoved him into this bunker. A notorious member of the enemy team faces him, Ghost looking just as mad as König feels, his eyes shining with hatred, “Why would you do that?!” König keeps his blade in his hand, his guns all back at the base. Ghost’s holsters are empty too, as they were confiscated right before he escaped from KorTac. He still has his hidden blades, though.

Ghost isn’t one to be left without a weapon in his hands and quickly draws one of his bigger blades. He snarls at König, sounding like an angry dog before he spits out, “What the fuck do you mean!? You saw me escaping and shoved me in here.” He draws his blade to a ready, narrowing his eyes, “You fuckers can’t keep me here.” He looks ready to attack, muscles bunched and ready to spring with all the force and hatred he can manage behind them.

König leaps in and clashes with Ghost, blocking Ghost’s knife with his arm pads and trying to make his own slices on the lieutenant, the colonel not one for many words, “I did not,” he growls, trying to get the upper hand on the strong British man, the machine and the legend. He knew they couldn’t keep this beast contained for long, Ghost was merely a distraction for the 141, but he didn’t calculate just how fast Ghost would wiggle out of his control, “You shoved me in here. To get back at me, yes? It will not work.”

Ghost matches him blow for blow, able to use his body with speed König can barely keep up with. “Why the hell… would I risk escape… to get into a knife fight with you,” he’s breathing heavily as he blocks the strike König throws, the man’s height giving him power. He gives a yank with his knife and slices through the straps on one of the arm braces, but he knocks König’s hand into his jaw, sending them both back a bit and making space.

König stumbles, but stays back and shoves Simon back when he approaches again, “Nien, you knocked into me! Der Betrüger, I will not be swayed! [deceiver]” He tugs the flimsy arm brace off and tosses it to the side, thinking about throwing it at Ghost but it would be more silly than insulting.

Ghost is spitting mad, “The fuck did you just call me!?” He surges in again, feinting right then flying at König like some sort of demented cat. He crawls the tall bitch and tries to knife him in the neck, yanking him back by the forehead and taking him down to the floor when he misses with his knife.

König goes down hard, rolling and knocking the knife from Ghost’s hand. When Ghost does the same for him, he growls, “Liar, deceiver! You try to trick me!” He cracks his helmet into Simon’s hard mask, glaring down into his eyes, “I will put you in the grave.”

Blood starts to soak into Ghost’s mask, his nose probably broken. He doesn’t stop though, bringing a fist to König’s face and attempting to rip his helmet off. He successfully starts to choke Kö with his helmet strap, yanking the strap tighter to shut the Austrian up.

König tugs the mask off entirely, but he has a slim mask underneath that still covers everything except his eyes. The crooked bridge of his nose is revealed and he tosses the DIY mask to the side, as it’s still tangled in the helmet. He has an angular face, Ghost can tell, and one of König’s ears is freshly swollen from this fight. He yanks Simon up by his tac-belt, stepping back and growling at the Brit that’s built like a wall. He would be hot if they weren’t trying to kill each other, but König is getting tired. Ghost just escaped from torment and König has been running through this dilapidated city, and now the adrenaline is starting to wear thin for both of them.

Ghost’s chest heaves as he scrambles to right himself, the blood in his mask starting to drip down. It stains his hard shell red and makes him look even more devilish as he shakes a bit. He fumbles for another knife, now just keeping a defensive position as he waits for König to attack again.

König watches the knife, feeling his hands start to shake. He looks up at Ghost, then gives a shaky sigh and tosses his last knife down, “I cannot kill you.” He steps back, “I would like to find a way out of this bunker alive. So in doing that, I would like to propose a truce.” He leans against the wall half to look calm and half to take some of his weight off of his quivering knees, “And if we don’t find a way out, I would rather wait for exfil without the stench of your corpse suffocating me.” His Austrian lilt shifts and gets a little heavier with how tired he is, but he is willing to keep fighting if that’s what Ghost insists on.

Ghost gives him a suspicious look, but recognizes that neither one of them can come out on top. He slowly lowers the knife and growls, “What are the terms outside not making the other a corpse?”

König huffs, “I will patch you up to the best of my ability. We help each other survive until we are freed, then we go back to being enemies.” He gets off of the wall and offers a gloved hand to seal the deal, “I will do my best to kill you outside of this place, and you do the same, yes? But while inside, we both survive.”

Ghost regards the hand then sheaths his knife as his “agreement” to the truce. He doesn’t want any additional contact that isn’t necessary, including a handshake. “Fine. Keep in mind we don’t have shit outside of what’s in here and what you have. You took all of my gear,” he has no extra food or medical supplies, no clothes, nothing but what he’s wearing and his hidden knives.

König sighs, “Yes, yes, I’m aware. My apologies.” He finds his mask and unclips the helmet, putting it back on for his own comfort. He finds the power works as he flips a light on, and it’s oddly cold down here for the middle of summer. He explores with a hand on his knife, feeling Ghost’s presence behind him and feeling ready to spring if Ghost tries to knife him in the back. Ghost simply knows König is his best chance at survival and he’d be damned to see him dead so soon. It’s small, probably going to be cramped with the two of them, but the stockroom is full of no perishables and they have a sink that works for their water needs. There’s a few old mugs and cups and three plates, but no silverware so they’ll be eating with their hands. When König turns to head back, his lack of facial features spook the lieutenant and he raises his knife back up, body tense but clearly in pain and still bleeding.

König draws his own knife, “Put that away!” He tries to still his heart enough to think over it pounding, but that’s hard to do when his worst enemy is trapped in an eerily quiet bunker with just König. He finds a medkit and shoves Ghost into one of the three kitchen chairs, grabbing Ghost’s knife and setting it on the tiny table next to them, then setting the kit down next to it, “I am going to patch you up. Be still.” Those soulless holes in the mask bore into Simon’s skull as he stitches up the slices in Simon’s arm and side, then he moves to pull the mask up to fix Simon’s nose too.

Simon smacks the hands away. “You want my mask off, yours comes off. I’m not staring into fucking voids if you want me to play nice,” he won’t look at the holes in König’s mask, won’t even let his eyes get close to such a massive fucking unknown. He needs his nose reset, but he’ll do it himself if it means getting away from that creepy ass mask.

König huffs, rolling his eyes as he tugs his mask off. He sets it next to the knives, the sleek mask still on underneath, “Happy, yes? Let us continue.” He sounds so irritated, tugging Simon’s mask back up and resetting Simon’s nose, patching up the cut from the helmet that hit it with brutal force and tugging the mask back down. He tugs Simon out of the chair, giving Simon a clean needle and making Simon patch him up. He tugs his shirt up for Simon, somehow still very tan even when he keeps all his skin covered on missions.

Simon doesn’t bother to figure out how König stays so tan, just stitching the man up and covering the wounds. “There, anything else you need or can I go get some fucking rest?” He covers König back up, looking eager to snag his preferred room. König sighs and waves Simon away like the lieutenant he is, tugging his “creepy” mask back on and searching the whole perimeter of the base. He tries his comms, but they crackle and click in every corner of the apocalypse bunker, telling König they’re out of commission. He curses under his breath, trying the door. He is the insertion specialist, and he finds it has been locked from the outside, with no way to get out even as he shoves and bangs against the door. He gives up after he feels dead on his feet, wobbling back to the room Simon so graciously gave him, stripping the dusty blankets off and locking the door to pull his gear and clothes off, breathing in the dusty air without his mask on and grunting at how stale everything is. He hates it.

Ghost isn’t in anything better, having to take his mask off to get the blood off his face. He waits until he knows König is in his own room, listening closely before slipping out to wash his mask of his blood and clean his face off. It’s swollen and tender, but at least the water breathes a little humanity back into him. He scurries back to his room, flicking the sad little lock and laying his mask out to dry and stripping what little gear he has off. He keeps one knife on him as he lays down, the others sitting right next to him just in case.

//

König is up first, surprisingly, and he makes a breakfast with the canned and preserved things in the pantry, making enough for two grown men to get enough and setting the second portion out on the table for Ghost, then retreating back to his room. This goes on for several days, with them both wanting minimal interactions with each other. König wakes one night when Ghost screams, yanking his mask on and busting into Ghost’s room with a knife. Ghost thrashes in his bed, and König watches as the ceiling crumbles above Ghost. He grabs the man and a few of his things, then bolts to the kitchen and cowers in the pantry as he listens to the room they were just in crumbles to rubble. If Ghost hadn’t screamed in his sleep, he would still be under the rubble, and König vowed to keep him alive to the best of his ability. Ghost thrashes against König, hitting and pushing at him as he fights his mind to wake up. The crumbling of his room doesn’t help his tortured psyche as he fights, looking around like a wild dog as he scrambled away. His eyes are unseeing for a few more moments before he blinks and really looks around. The first thing he realizes is his mask isn’t on and he quickly looks away, anxieties gripping him again. His room caved in over him, König grabbed him out, he was having a nightmare about suffocation, and his face is bare and that’s the worst thing to him at the moment. König puts Simon’s mask on, not looking at him and quivering with more adrenaline. He leans back into the wall, already sitting or else his legs might have given out, “You, you got first pick. You regret that now?” He pants, trying to tease but only landing a half-hearted jab. It falls flat and he knows it, but he doesn’t have anything else to say.

Simon curls up against the wall, shaking like a leaf as he adjusts his mask. He doesn’t respond, just staring at the broken wall and feeling more vulnerable than ever. It’s been days since he’s had a solid, positive interaction with a human and the nightmares are coming back with a vengeance. Eventually he asks König for a blanket if he has a spare one, even willing to take a tarp or just anything that could provide him some sort of comfort. He can sleep in the stockroom, there’s just enough room on the floor there to curl up, and if he has a tarp or shock blanket, could even stay somewhat warm.

König walks away on shaky legs, retrieving a blanket and a pillow. He quivers as he stands in the doorway, holding Ghost’s new items out as he looks like a demon from one of Simon’s dreams. Taller than the doorframe with his head and face obscured. He doesn’t have any facial features in this lighting, and he leans closer in an unnatural way, but breaks Ghost’s terrifying day-dream by asking anxiously, “Is that all? Nothing else, no?”

Simon takes the items with a nod, all but crawling to the stockroom in a desperate chase for a safe space. He can’t lock himself in, so he just tries to make himself as small as possible and crams himself into a corner to try and get just a little more sleep. It never comes though. Hours later, the smallest noise or light keeps him far from sleep, his body too keyed up and mind too overwhelmed to do anything but be awake. He craves safety now and in his mental search for it, finds his personal demon’s room sounds more appealing. He ends up crawling to the door with his blanket and pillow, testing the nob and almost crying out when it’s unlocked. He keeps quiet though and scoots in, locking it once inside and curling up in the far corner. It still takes him a bit to fall asleep, but come the early morning hours, Ghost is tentatively asleep.

König wakes and immediately startles late into the morning when there’s a lump in the corner of his room. He only calms when he doesn’t hurt and he knows who the lump is, sighing softly. He stands and accidentally wakes Ghost, scooping the man up and not letting him protest. He puts Ghost in his bed, “I will go make breakfast. You stay.” He slips away, taking off the mask Simon hates so much and just keeping his slim one on. He comes back a few minutes later, a plate in each hand, and he hands one to Simon. He turns away to eat, since Simon hasn’t seen his face yet and he’d prefer to keep it that way.

Ghost happily doesn’t look, taking the privacy to eat with his own mask off. He makes quick work of the food, tugging the mask back on and waiting on König to finish. When he does, Ghost mutters, “I’m sorry about last night. I’ll go back to the storeroom tonight.” He’s not sure he’ll be able to sleep, but he knows König wants his space to himself. He focuses now on gathering his mind back up, sealing the cracks he left exposed and putting back up his walls.

König shakes his head, “You won’t.” He sighs, “I went through the rubble, I found some things.” He pulls some more blankets into the room, but pauses, “The Matratze was too broken, but blankets will suffice.” He makes a thin bed on the floor, his exposed arms covered in shallow cuts from digging through the rubble, but he hands Ghost back the knives he lost, “I could not mend the room, so you will stay in mine room, yes?”

Ghost can’t help but raise his hackles, tired and tired of feeling exposed and weak. “You won’t try shit?” He knows he’s being rude to spit on the hands that have given him the best they can do, but he can’t bring himself to be kind right now. He hasn’t had a good sleep in days and he’s wound tighter than ever.

König sits back, crossing his battered arms, “Yes, yes, I pulled you from breaking room just to kill you now.” He rolls his eyes, “No I will not try to hurt you. We made a deal.” He gestures to the knives he just gave Ghost, “And I give you many weapons back, to then hurt you later. Why?” He’s just as tired as Ghost is, but he’s trying not to be rude to the traumatized man. Ghost huffs, but accepts his new place and sits on the pallet that was made. He sighs, slumping a bit but still clearly keyed up. They need to do something to relax themselves or they’re gonna tear each other apart soon. König scoops him back up and sets him in the bed, “The blankets were not for you.” He lays Ghost back down almost forcefully, tucking him in and glaring into his soul, “You will stay here or I will make you stay here.”

Ghost struggles though, “No way in hell!” He fights against the hands on him, mostly just fighting because he didn’t want handouts from his enemy. He writhes under König, starting to snarl and growl again as he acts like a rabid dog to get away.

König has had more sleep in the past few nights and just keeps him down, smacking the knife from Ghost’s hand and climbing on the bed to pin Ghost the old fashioned way. He straddles Ghost’s hips and sits on him, grabbing his wrists and pinning him down, grumbling, “Please stop fighting.”

Ghost bucks up now, his pupils dilating at having someone put him in such a vulnerable position. The adrenalin in his veins starts to make blood flow to a new place and the next time Ghost struggles and bucks, he grinds against König while half hard.

König blinks, but doesn’t move, “Ghost, please.” It’s breathy and sweet and not what Ghost needs to hear right now as König feels him fill out underneath him, “I told you I would keep you safe, and you are fighting me.” He stares at Ghost’s crotch, watching Ghost buck under him.

Ghost snaps his jaws, “I told you, I don’t need your fucking handouts.” A handjob sounds a lot better right now, but Ghost keeps fighting, needing to be pinned down and something to give him the energy release his body is craving.

König looks back up at Ghost and glares at him, flipping him over so he doesn’t have to see that terrible glare of Ghost’s and grinding right on Ghost’s ass through both sets of pants. He shoves Ghost’s dick down onto the bed too, giving him the friction he needs, “You seem to want my handouts. This one, at least.” He pins both of Simon’s hands with only one of his and slides his now freed hand down to grope at Simon through his thick cargo pants. Ghost chokes back a moan, still fighting. He needs it so badly, the rough friction stinging but scratching the itch he’s developed and leaving him panting and rutting his hips between the bed and König. König yanks him up without so much of a second thought, tugging Ghost’s pants down and growling right into Ghost’s ear, “You will take what I give you, lieutenant. Understood?” He grinds harder and shoves his hand into Ghost’s boxers, rubbing the pad of his thumb against Ghost’s dick, “You will take all of what I give you.”

Ghost bucks against König’s hand, “Then fucking give it to me.” He’s lost to the power dynamics, being called lieutenant like it’s a bad thing, being pinned like he’s no more than a doll! He still mouths off, refusing to let even a colonel get complete obedience so soon. König groans and tugs his pants and underwear down, tugging Ghost’s thin boxers off and grinding against Ghost’s ass. He quickly gets the soft skin wet with precum, and he grinds in a delicious frenzy, pulling against Simon’s eager hole and jerking Simon off roughly.

He grunts into Simon’s ear, “So mouthy.”

Ghost gives a stuttered moan then pants out, “Then shut me up.” He shoves his ass back for König, wanting him in and knowing he’d be a brat until he gets what he wants. Ghost closes his eyes and pictures riding König for all he’s worth, grinding against his length with even more fervor. König presses a finger in, then two more, watching Ghost just come apart on his hands. He bites Ghost’s shoulder, then shoves into him when Ghost is probably ready, tugging Ghost’s mask up so he can bite at Ghost’s neck.

He grabs the front of Ghost’s throat, “Such a whore. Going to let me breed you, yes?” He squeezes Ghost’s throat, brutal in every form of contact he gives to Ghost.

Ghost sputters as his air is cut off, squirming and thrashing but loving when König just shoves in deeper and squeezes tighter. He paws at the hand on his neck, his vision spotting and lips starting to go blue before his air is returned to him. He sucks in a breath and gasps, “Yes. Fuck- Just do it!”

König growls as he slams in harder, only giving Ghost a few more breaths before biting Ghost’s jaw, “[German] I’ll have you seeing stars when I’m done with you. Don’t plan on letting go until your lips turn that pretty blue again. Maybe you’ll pass out first, who’s to know?”

Ghost has no clue what König’s saying, but he nods like he does anyways. He’d agree if he knew. Some of the bites König leaves break through Simon’s skin and they all bruise, his pale skin showing every detail beautifully.

König lets Ghost’s windpipe go when Ghost starts to waver, petting the bruised sides gently, “Your skin looks so much better with my handprint, hmmm?” He grabs Ghost’s ass, groping it as he still drills in at his back breaking pace, “Will your cock miss my hand when we are done? Will your neck feel cold? We must not let that happen.” He aims to please Ghost as much as Ghost is pleasing him, wanting Ghost to end up floating at the end of this. Maybe some twitches to show that he’s alive, but those are optional in König’s horny brain. Ghost can barely bring himself to nod, his breathing shallow as his body struggles to keep up. Pleasure racks through him, racing up his spine and twisting the pain into a demented version of good. His neck already feels cold without König’s hand stealing his air, he already needs König to grab anywhere and everywhere, but Ghost can’t imagine how sad and cold he’ll be once all of Kö is gone, leaving him empty and open. König gives a labored huff and jams himself in a few more times, then squeezes Ghost’s dick, cumming in Ghost and jerking Ghost off through it. He doesn’t stop until he has fulfilled his fantasy, three rounds later.

König scoops the dumbified Ghost up and brings him to the sink, cleaning him off with a warm washcloth and some gentle soap. His hands are so sweet as he patches Ghost up, petting his soft cheek nervously. There’s no light in Ghost’s eyes, so König doesn’t say anything, but he wants to. He worries that he took it too far and that there are too many bites, his mouth already covered back up by his slim mask. Simon hasn’t even seen his mouth yet!

Ghost is dead to the world though, whimpering softly at the warm water and rough rag, but his eyes never focus in. He’s so vulnerable right now, König could do whatever he wanted and Ghost could do nothing about it. His mind was taken away by the roughest and best sex he’s ever had.

All König wants to do is clean Ghost up. He clothes him in some of the pajamas that were in the bunker, washing Ghost’s mask, then letting it sit out to dry. He stares at Ghost’s pretty face, then leaves Ghost on the counter while he cleans himself and the bedding up. He comes back to scoop Ghost up and take him back to bed, tugging him into the warm bedding and cuddling him close, murmuring, “I’m sorry for being rough. I did not want to hurt you.”

Ghost doesn’t respond, his eyes having fallen shut some time ago. He’s peacefully asleep now, tucked in and warm and resting the exhaustion from König away.

König sighs softly, only cuddling closer and minding Ghost’s bandaged shoulders as he falls into a very light sleep, holding Ghost close and curling around him protectively.

//

König comes back into the room when he knows Ghost is awake, bringing Ghost’s mask and a large plate of food, “I am sorry, I do not know what happened last night.” He sits on the edge of the bed, “I was far too rough, there are bruises… they will last. I’m sorry.”

Ghost yanks his mask on, the man having freaked a bit when he didn’t have it on when he woke up. “Don’t take the mask again, but last night was fine. I consented to everything,” he shoves food into his mouth, starving and that being all he really cared about. He aches, sure, but his skin bruises easily so he’s not worried about that and the bites that bled don’t hurt too much worse so he’s fine with that too. His main thing is his legs which tingle and promise to not work should he try them.

König sighs, “It got blood on it, I did not want it to stain.” He stares at the floor, “You were quiet after, it was worrying. Do you mean what you said? Was it okay?” He shrinks himself down, slouching and keeping his hands in his lap with the saddest puppy eyes. If Ghost hadn’t been on the receiving end of König’s knife, he would wonder why this sad man is a colonel.

Ghost gives him a bit of a look, “I just said I was fine.” How in the hell was this fucking brick wall looking like a sad kitten? The sad look is honestly making Ghost more uncomfortable than last night ever did.

König nods, “Okay, okay.” He shoots up when his radio crackles, and he runs to grab it, trying for the fiftieth time to get reception enough. He catches some words and barks something in German into the radio, pacing from the room when they can’t hear him clearly. He tries again. And then again, this time louder, wanting to escape. However many days and nights and weeks have passed have felt like eternity and he needs to escape. The dusty air down here makes him want to die.

Ghost makes himself start moving, checking their food supplies. They have enough for about another stay of the current time, but it’s concerning to see half to food gone. They need to get out sooner or later. He finds König then says, “We might check the collapsed ceiling. There might be a way to climb out through there.”

König shakes his head, “Wall above.” He scoops Ghost up when he doesn’t move fast enough, tossing the big man on his back and climbing up the rubble to pound at the metal ceiling, trying to get his people to hear him still. He has jabbed a slit through, but he can’t get any farther.

Ghost huffs and snatches the radio. “No wonder you aren’t getting signal,” he extends the antenna all the way then wiggles it through, giving Kö a snarky grin when reception crackles through. Panicked voices call out for König, the men on the other end wanting to find their colonel.

König rolls his eyes at Ghost, but pats his shoulder in thanks, talking to his men once the line of communication is open. He tells them to come get him, but not to harm Ghost. He huffs, “[German] The soldier, Ghost, is not to be hurt during exfil. We will send him back to his team, and we will not see him again, understood? We are under a truce.”

His team is confused to say the least, but they won’t disobey König and promise Ghost a safe return. They’re there within the hour, hauling the two men out. Ghost is placed under heavy scrutiny, but he’s back in what little gear he had and puffs up imposingly. He growls at König’s team when they get too close, glaring daggers until they back off and let the man limp away.

König catches him and brings him to the helo, yanking him into it and tugging a man with a South Korean patch on his shoulder into a hug. He pats Horangi’s back firmly, speaking in a muffled way to his best man, then Horangi relays the message to the captain of the helo, and they’re lifted away from the dingy bunker and König gets to feel the sun on his exposed forearms. He sits on the edge of the helo, dangling his feet out of the ride and looking back at Simon, “I chipped that hole away for days, but I was afraid of breaking the antenna.” He blinks, “If you had broken the antenna, I would have killed you on the spot.” He turns back to his view, “[German] Truce be damned.”

Ghost gives a cold laugh, “You would’ve starved us out before you felt comfortable pulling your radio out. At least I gave us a chance.” He’s sat happily in a seat and strapped in, but Simon leans into the sun and loves the feel of the wind against his skin. “I hope you know the truce is off once I’m home. You’ll be spared once by my team for payment for this, then if we see you again, it’s shoot on sight and I’ll hope to be the one with my finger on the trigger,” a thought flashes through his mind after he says that, Ghost thinking at least König would be wholly his if he was dead.

König rolls his eyes, “Yes, I hope to shoot first.” He looks back, but Ghost can see his eyes in the big, creepy mask and he just looks like an entity now, “Or maybe I will sneak up on you, slit your throat like fish.” He drags the nail of his thumb against his trachea, his eyes bright as he fantasizes over what will happen after their truce ends.

Ghost snorts, “If you’re going to get up close and personal, why don’t you choke me again? Bruise my neck, squeeze it till I’m dead and everyone knows it was you. At least be creative. Carve your initials into me like I would if I ended you. Take my mask as a souvenir, or my favorite knife. I know I’d love to see you bleed with an S. R. Or leave your face bare for all to see.”

König snickers, “I would take your skull, make my own Ghost mask.” He taps his helmet with his knuckles, “Would have to get your pretty skull to fit under this helmet, yes? And get all the blood off, to match this white mask.” He scoots up and reaches out to touch the mask, “It is not of bone, no? What is it?”

Ghost snorts, “Not bone, just hard plastic.” He relaxes back into his seat, letting his thoughts run wild. All the things he could do to König to claim him before and after death, all the things Kö could do right back, just delightful!

König sits back on the edge, feeling the craft land and sending Ghost away with a less than subtle ass grope, snickering as Ghost walks away, “I will get my chance. Keep your eyes open, lieutenant.” He sits back in the helo with a wink to Ghost, dangling his feet over the side as he gives the okay to the captain.

Ghost flips him off as the helo leaves, even throwing a knife at the bird and managing to bury it into the body of the vehicle. He walks until his team scoops him up, brushing them off and going back to his quarters to get cleaned up and some decent sleep.

//

It starts with a shirt, then a set of pants, then a whole pillow. Things keep disappearing from Ghost’s room when the door is locked and Ghost doesn’t know why. The next thing Ghost notices is that his sheets are rumpled, when he pulled them straight a few hours ago. He can’t stop to consider, having to go back to training. Once he’s out of the room, König crawls out from under the bed, his prize in hand as he slips out the window.

Ghost comes back and snarls, knowing someone was getting into his room. He checks the whole place and grumbles when his window has been tampered with, setting a small trap. He snags an ink pen and opens it up, breaking the ink tube and hiding dots of ink along the sill. He goes to bed knowing if the visitor came again, they’d leave traceable prints and maybe even something to identify them.

When König comes back, he sets his glove right in the ink, then huffs, tossing the set down and rooting for something else to steal. He sets the gloves down on the bed, then one of his knives as a gift, slipping away when he feels the exchange is complete. There’s only one person who has hands big enough to fill those gloves, and who has the size to make the large knife look little. Simon knows exactly who it is, and his new knife is very high quality, German made.

Simon sighs when he sees the gifts, tossing the gloves in to wash since they’re covered in ink and sharpening his new blade before adding it to his kit. What irony it would be if Ghost carved his name into König with his own blade! It pleases Ghost more than he can admit and he hopes he’s given more gifts to use later. Maybe a bullet, or a cord, or something bigger like a pistol he could shove against the man’s head.

Ghost finds that König loves leaving new gifts, like a big crow. He roots through Simon’s room, but now he always leaves something in return. Simon can always feel eyes on him when he’s in his room, but he can never see the culprit. He’s given plenty of shiny things. New knives, new boots when Ghost’s seem to have worn through, and König has even laid out an outfit that he would like to see Simon in. It has a chest window and König waits with bated breath as Simon checks his bed for the first time today, finding a package of German chocolates and the sweater.

Ghost explores the chocolates first, opening them and picking out the ones he doesn’t like. He leaves them for König though, leaving him the caramels and the dark chocolates but happily keeping the rest. Next he pokes around the sweater, raising an eyebrow at the cut out. “You want me in this?” Ghost asks the room, looking to his window for the man he knows is there. “Just tap once if you want to see it, I know you’re there, you dumb boy,” he looks at the window, unimpressed but unable to keep the egging tone from his voice.

There’s a moment of hesitation, then a timid tap, and a second when he thinks Simon hasn’t heard. He likes the slightly affectionate tone, almost wiggly with the idea that Simon calls König and only König his dumb boy. He likes feeling small and he likes Simon, of course.

Simon gives a short huff, but next thing König knows, his shirt is off and he’s tugging the new one on. Two small flashes of metal taunt Kö for a second before Ghost has the shirt on and is adjusting it. It’s tight on him, but not uncomfortably so. It’s just enough to give him some volume and Ghost looks down at his chest. It looks good in the shirt.

König wonders what the metal was, but he’s staring disrespectfully, wide eyes watching that chest peek out through the intentional hole. When Ghost turns his back, König leaves a gift on the windowsill. His number and the smallest knife Ghost has ever seen. It’s a switchblade, and it’s sharp, but König thought Ghost would like it. He doesn’t reveal himself, just wanting to lurk. He’s very good at just lurking, but it’s comforting to the lieutenant in some ways.

Ghost scoops up the gifts and texts the number. All he asks is, “Am I the only one you’re giving gifts to?” He likes the eyes on him, he doesn’t want to share them. He also likes the tiny switchblade and plays with it for a moment, before sending another text, “Do you want me to wear this around?”

König smiles and sits back inaudibly, “I have no time to spend on others. I am here or at my post.” He hesitates, then sends, “I want to be selfish, I want to say that sweater is only for me, but I like it too much to say that.” He nibbles his lip, then asks, “Your favorite kandy, lieutenant?”

Ghost smirks when he gets the word that König’s stalking is only for him, the feeling of safety bubbling around him. “Not a candy, but chocolate covered strawberries. Dark chocolate on them, but I don’t like dark chocolate otherwise,” the strawberries make milk chocolate too sweet, but on its own, dark chocolate is too rich for him.

“Very tasty. I will be sure to remember that.” He peeks back up, then shuts the window, “I have to leave soon. I will be back before you sleep, yes?” He’s soundless as he slips away and Ghost can’t even catch sight of him before he’s already to the forest line and getting back to his vehicle.

Ghost frowns when the eyes on him are gone, but he has things to do and keeps himself occupied while he waits for them back. By time evening comes and he’s ready for bed he asks, “Are you back?” He wants the eyes on him, wants that protection back, wants König with him.

Ghost gave König plenty of time and he smiles when Ghost settles down, “I am. How did everyone like the sweater?” The window is slightly open again, and the sound of Ghost breathing comforts König like no other sound could.

“Plenty of stares, a few cat calls,” Ghost squirmed under all the eyes, they weren’t the ones he wanted, but he likes the way the sweater makes him look and the compliments were nice he supposes. It’s off now, replaced by a baggy t-shirt. Ghost just changed right there, not minding if König saw. He wanted him to.

König smiles, “It’s hard to resist staring. I like the rings.” He bites his lip again, “The ones in your chest? Very shiny, I want to bite them.” He fawns over the way Ghost looks, relentlessly obsessed ever since they got out of the bunker. He loves how Ghost matches his ruthlessness, but is still so snarky about it. He wants Ghost to call him more sweet names, dumb boy coming to mind faster than it should.

Ghost chuckles, “You want a taste, you have to come in.” He gets an idea and puts his phone away, leaving it face down as he gets to work. He sits up and rolls his shirt up, biting the hem and running his hands along his chest. He cups his pecs and gives them a small squeeze, the rings catching in the light. He’s teasing and König knows it.

König doesn’t want to reveal himself, but he can’t help but stare. When Ghost’s hands slide right back up to tease König, he clambers into the window, unable to help himself as he stands in Ghost’s room now, staring at him with wide eyes. He yanks the top mask off when Ghost looks unhappy, still never exposing his face. He steps forwards eagerly, his hands finding the curve right below Ghost’s boobs and fitting in just like a puzzle piece. His thumbs come up and rub at the nipple piercings and his full attention is caught by how they glimmer in the low light. He’s enamored with them, leaning down and only tugging his mask up to below his nose when Simon can’t see. The first thing Ghost feels is König’s tongue, hot and greedy as König moans around the piercing.

Ghost gives a breathy moan, reaching down and grabbing the mask. He wishes he had König’s hair to pull, but settles for the mask as he presses his chest up for more. “Couldn’t resist, could you?” His tone is a bit demeaning, all but calling König a slut.

König shakes his head, closing his eyes. He pulls off, making sure the door is locked, then he stares at Simon’s thighs and asks, “Am I to stay longer?” He looks up with those huge, dark eyes, looking like a cat with how swollen his pupils are.

Simon raises an eyebrow at him and asks, “Are you going to make it worth my while?” He squishes his thighs together and pushes his hips up, showing off his bulge and nearly drooling over Kö. He wants to ride him this time.

König nods, “I will.” He lays Simon back and pulls his mask back down, kissing Simon’s neck through the mask and murmuring, “I will leave you like last time, stupid and bruised.”

Ghost laughs, “Maybe, but I’m not the one laying down this time.” He gives König a few more seconds then with a heave, flips them and grinds back. He squeezes König’s sides with his thighs and leans forward to nuzzle into his neck, grinding back until he feels König hard underneath him.

König looks up with sparkly eyes, “I like this more.” He sets his hands on Ghost’s hips, then tugs those pants off entirely. He makes Ghost take off his shirt, petting his pecs and playing with the nipple rings, “You look so good. So sweet.”

Ghost sits back and wiggles König’s pants down, getting his dick out and stroking it till he’s fully hard. He scoots back a bit more and goes for his first taste, giving the head a kitten lick. “This,” Simon gives Kö’s dick a squeeze, “Belongs to me. Understood?”

König’s belly bubbles and he sits up eagerly, “Yes, sir.” He only lays back down when Ghost makes him, holding Ghost’s head in his hands, “Only you.” He loves this, his eyes shining, “I can wear something when you aren’t around. A cage, or a lock, yes? It does not belong to me, then. Just you.”

Ghost gives an evil grin, giving another lick, “You’d fucking better.” He sucks König off for a bit then pops off, spinning around and putting his ass in his face. “You better eat me out good. You don’t get me open enough by time I sit down on your cock, you have to deal with the tight fit,” Ghost could probably squeeze Kö’s dick off if he tried, so it is in his best interest to do good.

König gets to work, tugging his mask up and going in hard. He leans back for a moment, “You have to find the cage, yes? Then I will wear it.” He leans back in and uses his tongue and his fingers, sucking on Ghost’s soft balls while he fingers Ghost open. He’s relentless, making sure Ghost is good and open.

Ghost barely has time to play with König, lost to the sensations and pleasure shooting up his spine. “Fuck, I’ll get you a cage. Lock your dick away like it’s a worthless criminal. For my use so you can’t whore yourself out,” the thoughts alone make Ghost dizzy and needy. He owns the man under him, can use him at anytime he wants.

König snickers, nodding, “A collar too, yes?” He wants to be owned by the man that sits over him, tugging his mask down and then making Simon sit back down over his dick, “I could wear it under my mask. No one would know.”

Ghost grinds back onto the exposed dick, giving a low moan. “So desperate to be owned. I could carve your skin right now if you really wanted it. Could brand you as my personal slut,” Kö’s dick catches on his hole and Simon wants nothing more than to sink down on it, but he waits, wanting to know if he was gonna be allowed to brand König tonight.

König would let Ghost do anything to him, “Where will you put it?” He tugs Ghost down, grabbing Ghost’s hand and pressing his fingers right in the grove of his v shape, trailing Ghost’s fingers up to under his pec, “And what will you write, hmm?”

Ghost’s grin looks feral, his hand dancing over the sensitive skin of König’s pec. “Right there. Over your heart. I’d make you bleed with my initials, maybe press a little too hard and threaten to pop your heart. Could watch you bleed out any day. It’d be so pretty,” he leans down and sinks his teeth into the opposite pec, at least waiting for permission to mark König’s skin permanently.

König looks eager, “I would like to mark you back.” He takes Ghost’s hand, kissing the knuckles, “If you will allow it. Like matching tattoos without the ink.” He tugs his shirt fully off, keeping his mask down and watching Ghost with those entity-like eyes.

Ghost nods, getting up and grabbing the tiny switchblade for this. He crawls back and pins König down, lightly tracing the pattern in then going over it again and again till it’s deep enough to scar permanently. He might’ve gone a little further than necessary, but the sounds Kö made and the way he wriggled turned Ghost on more than anything else he’s experienced. Simon sits up and looks at König’s face before leaning down and lapping up the blood, not letting it go to waste.

König whines, tugging Ghost and his traitorous tongue away. He kisses Ghost’s jaw, then finds the muscular part at the top of Ghost’s thigh, just next to the place where it meets Ghost’s torso. He carves a little three-pronged crown in, going a little lighter than Ghost but feeling happy with his work, “The crown, König means king.” He pats the blood away, then looks up into Simon’s pretty eyes, ready for Simon to ride him now.

Simon grins, flexing his leg and admiring the blood that pools along the cut. He puts the knife away after cleaning the blood off, grabbing lube and slicking König up and slamming himself down without a second thought. His eyes roll back as he fills himself too much, basking in the burn. Ghost takes a breath and arches, pressing König in deeper and at a harsher angle so they can see him bulge out of Simon. “So full,” he murmurs, playing with Kö and rocking already so he can watch the bulge move in his belly.

König almost feels a little high, with the cut and now the warmth. He grips Simon’s thighs, unintentionally digging his thumb into the fresh brand. He has gloves on, so he doesn’t feel it, but he likes the sound his Ghost makes.

Ghost moans when the cuts are pressed on, a hand resting over König’s so he doesn’t move it away. He starts to get into a rhythm, rocking back and forth slowly, then bouncing a little, then slamming himself down like if he doesn’t have Kö buried in him he’d die. “Should get a plug. Let you fill me up a night then keep you in all day,” Ghost babbles random ideas, just needing to have every inch of himself claimed and to claim right back.

König nods, tugging Ghost down, “I want to see that.” He pulls Ghost into a sweet kiss, then pulls away, tugging his mask right back down and murmuring, “You’re so pretty. [German] I want you to sit on my cock forever, I can’t get enough of you.”

Ghost pants above König, nodding when he agrees. “I’ll get one with the cage,” they’d both have something on them as a reminder as well. He shifts and slams down again, crying out as he rams Kö into his prostate. His legs quiver now, but Ghost doesn’t stop, he can’t stop, desperate for more.

König slides his hands up Ghost’s pretty body to help out, tugging Ghost down and pressing their chests together as he fucks up into him, kissing at Ghost’s face through the mask and murmuring, “[German] Such sweet sounds, I want to hear more.”

Ghost whines at the loss of pressure on his brand but thoroughly enjoys the help he gets on stuffing himself. He’s making a lot of pretty noises now, letting König do more and more work as he gets closer to cumming.

König keeps one hand gently on Simon’s back, getting blood on Simon’s chest from his own brand, trailing another hand down to jerk Simon off. He kisses Simon’s cheek again, then lays his head back, fucking up harder and moaning mostly into Simon’s ear, “Cum for me.”

Ghost adds to the mess between their chests, sinking his teeth into Kö’s pec again and drawing blood with this bite. His hips twitching back lazily as he’s lead through his orgasm, trying to get König to fill him up already.

König can’t last with that perfect squeeze, cumming and then basking in the bliss that comes with fucking his one and only. He pets Ghost’s head languidly, laying for a few quiet minutes and then picking Ghost up. He cleans Ghost off in the shower, then patches up their consensual wounds, kissing the top of Ghost’s head and then leaving Ghost in the warm water to strip the bed. Once he has done everything, he dries Ghost off and tucks him into bed, getting him a water and setting some benadryl next to his bed for the morning.

Ghost grabs König before he can leave and tugs him down. He yanks him in for a furious kiss them snarls, “You’re fucking mine. You might not have a cage yet, but if I hear you slept around, I’ll make sure you don’t have a dick to give anyone else.” He gets another kiss and nips König’s neck for good measure before finally letting him leave.

König’s eyes are sparkly when he pulls away, delighted to hear that. He slips out of the window, with one last blown kiss to Ghost, then hides away to lurk.

//

König startles out of his daydream by a cry, peeking up above the windowsill to watch Simon thrash in bed. He blinks, glancing around, then slips into the room. Simon let him lurk for the past three nights, even encouraged it, even though they haven’t done anything physical. His wound is barely scabbing over, since Simon carved deep. He pulls off his frightening mask and gently rolls into bed with Simon, kicking his boots off and curling around the panicked man. He takes Simon’s hands softly, murmuring, “It is only a dream, lieutenant. Wake from your nightmare, please.”

Ghost startles awake and fights König for a few moments before he realizes where he is and slumps down. His chest heaves as he tries to suck in air, leaning into the big arms that hold him close. He fell asleep and couldn’t feel the eyes on him anymore. He didn’t know if he was being watched! Ghost reaches down and presses on his thigh where the crown in his skin burns, using the pain and the presence to calm him down.

König presses as close as he can, taking Ghost’s hands again and rubbing them gently to soothe the big man, “I’m here.” He kisses at Ghost’s neck, “You have a long day tomorrow. I’ll be here all night, you have nothing to fear.”

Ghost wants to snarl and spit, to fight being snuggled, but it feels undeniably good and he’s relaxing without his own permission. He presses on the crown again, settling down with a small nod. There’s no question now if Kö is watching him, Simon knows he is because he’s able to press back and feel him firmly behind his back.

König lays awake the whole night, getting to watch Ghost sleep up close. When Ghost wakes, König pets Ghost’s face with a sweet thumb, “There was a mouse in your room last night.” Nothing else happened, but König wanted to update Ghost, “I caught it, she is back outside now.”

Ghost nods, pushing himself up and getting ready with König in the room. “Thank you,” he doesn’t ask why Kö stayed, just accepting the nice treatment for now. “Are you leaving? I know you have your job to get to,” he’d like to have the eyes following him all day though.

König nods, “I have to. I won’t be back for a few days.” He sighs softly, sitting up and watching Simon, “I will call you.” He blinks, looking away to Simon’s phone and plugging it in by habit, “Make sure to pick up, please.”

Ghost forgets to charge it most of the time, but he’s never let it die since König. “I will,” he goes to leave then remembers he got Kö a gift and spins on his heel. “I don’t know if you saw, but I got you this,” he pulls out König’s cock cage and hands it to him with a smirk. The only key goes on Ghost’s dog tags, right on his heart, and he waits for Kö to put on the cage.

König laughs, but puts it back in Ghost’s hands, “I cannot wear it now, but I promise I will wear it when I get back, yes? No distractions, my men are counting on me.” He smiles, “But I will find a gift for you.”

Ghost fights the urge to make König wear it, clearly displeased with the answer. “Don’t worry about getting me a gift. I just want you back and in the cage,” he really hopes Kö will stay away from the others since he doesn’t have the cage on. Ghost trusts Kö, he doesn’t trust König’s men however.

König tugs Simon back and into a kiss, tugging his mask down, “You already wear my brand, and I wear yours. It will be okay, lieutenant.” He scoops Simon into his lap, “Keep your phone on, dear.”

Ghost reaches up and strokes the brand on König through his shirt. It’s a comfort to him at least. “It won’t leave my side,” he mumbles, nosing at the bottom of König’s mask. He’d like to see his face, but Simon won’t press. He understands wanting to hide away, however, he’s a little jealous Kö has seen his face and he hasn’t seen Kö’s.

König keeps the mask pressed down, his heart rate spiking a bit, “I know the other mask scares you.” He looks away from Simon, “I do not want to scare you more with what lays under this.” He sighs, “Your face looks very normal, even with the smile. Mine does not.”

Ghost just keeps his head tucked into König’s neck at the edge of the mask. “I won’t force you, but I’d like to see you one day. I don’t think you could scare me,” he reaches up and pets König’s face through the mask, sitting up and kissing his nose. “Whatever you look like, know it’s mine. You are mine, so it doesn’t matter what’s missing,” Ghost knows people without teeth or ears or even their noses, Kö won’t scare him.

König sighs, “Not today. I still want to be yours.” He pets Ghost’s cheeks, then stands, setting Ghost down, “I must go. Keep your phone on!” He covers Ghost’s eyes, tugging him into a sweet kiss, and now Ghost can feel that a chunk of König’s tongue is missing entirely. König won’t let Ghost explore his mouth, slipping away before Ghost gets to. He pulls his mask down and uncovers Simon’s eyes, slipping out of the window with a sweet wave and then he’s gone.

Ghost watches the window for a long while before he moves, already wanting his boy back. The fact that he’ll be gone for days irks him and Ghost stays in a sour mood until the first call. He curls around his phone on his bed, listening eagerly to König and letting his voice soothe his mind.

König is all giggly when he calls, holed up in a safe house, “This mission is going well! We have collected data on the enemy team, very much!” He smirks, “I wonder if you have heard anything about data leaks?” He can’t give away too much, but the mission going well means he will be back to watch Ghost sooner than expected (hopefully).

Ghost gives a snarl, though it’s more playful now, “By enemy team, you don’t mean the 141 do you?” He will have to see if there’s a data leak now… There are other teams it could be, but Ghost can hear the tone and knows it has to be accompanied with a shit-eating grin.

König huffs, “No, no, but I do wish that was the case.” He blinks, “The, I do not know how to say, the other colonel, Vargas, yes?” The team name’s pronunciation evades him as he has never spoken Spanish, “I cannot tell you where we are, but it is very hot. I do not enjoy, you know?”

Great, their southern allies. “I know exactly where you are, Kö,” Ghost likes that. Still he’s gonna have to warn Price to warn Ale and Rudy and make it seem like it’s just his paranoia. “You know I have to warn them. They are our allies,” Ghost’s voice rumbles, “We might even go down and say hi should something be found.”

König smirks, “I want you to come down.” He giggles, “I want to see you again. It has been too long, yes?” His eyes sparkle, “We can fight again! No longer tired, want to meet my match with my new blade.”

Ghost grins, “Aww, I’ll make sure to bring a gun. Never want to be caught with a knife in a gun fight now, Kö.” He sounds giddy, already imagining what he could do. Simon likes one idea in particular, putting a gun to König’s head and making him suck Ghost off. Have Kö know if he moves wrong, isn’t doing good enough, he’ll have his brains blown out and Simon can watch the blood pour out all pretty like.

König huffs, “But I want to test my blade…” he pouts, “And I don’t want to kill you, I like the way your cheeks turn red.” He giggles, “And your screams are so pretty, I want to continue to hear them.”

Ghost sighs heavily, dropping his fantasy and murmuring, “Fine. I’ll just have to make you scream louder.” He pauses to just hear Kö for a moment then mumbles reverently, “I wanna see you bleed.”

König smirks, “You will have to work hard to hear my scream.” He looks up at a knock at his door, “I must go. You are the prettiest boy in the world, Simon. I will see you soon.”

Ghost flushes but responds quickly, “See you soon, Kö. Be good for me.” He hears the line go dead and pockets his phone going to Price and making an inquiry on their and their allie’s networks. “We haven’t been hit there in a while, it could leave us vulnerable,” Ghost paces, Price thinking it’s because he’s deep in his paranoia, but really he wants to see König and is restless with the fact he’s here still.

Price blinks, “How intuitive.” He pats Simon’s shoulder, “I just got a call from them. They found what they think is an enemy camp and are checking it out.” He tugs his boots on, “We’re going as backup.” Price sends him to wake the others, Gaz and Soap looking excited for a new mission.

Ghost is ready faster than ever, his skin itching with anticipation. He’s excited for his fight with König, eager to see if he can make the man scream, maybe even beg and plead if he gets the upper hand. His kit has many new knives for him to try out, some from König and some ones he wanted so he could surprise him.

Price loads them into their transport, sitting next to Nik and setting a hand on his shoulder as they pull off of the runway towards Los Vaqueros. Gaz and Soap are giddy, and Soap keeps trying to wiggle to sit on the edge to watch while Gaz keeps tugging him back, not wanting him to fall. Soap just rolls his eyes at Gaz, wiggling away to stare out of the large window.

Ghost keeps to himself per usual, but his mood hasn’t improved with the thought of seeing Kö. When Soap is still being a pest to get to see outside he snaps, “Sit in the chair properly sergeant or I’ll fucking hang out of the helo by your wrists.” He almost said neck, but doesn’t need an investigation into him.

Soap startles at the snap, then sits next to Gaz again with a sigh, leaning on his favorite sergeant and letting Gaz pet his head idly. Gaz just nudges Soap, “Told you so.” Soap grumbles something and kicks Kyle’s boot lightly.

Ghost goes back to ignoring them, trying desperately to calm down enough to make the flight without strangling one of his team members. He’s never been more happy to see the LV headquarters before or feel the heat into his skin, all but leaping off the helo before Nik gets it down.

Alejandro comes out to greet them, “Welcome, welcome!” He nods to Simon, then talks to Price, “We found something of interest. Follow me.” He leads the team back into the base, walking down some long corridors and then turning into a small hallway with six one-way windows. There are a few KorTac members in the first few, but Alejandro prides himself on the last one, “He’s a giant. Wouldn’t let us take the mask off. We got it a little bit of the way off but he’s hideous, so it’s best to keep it down.” Soap snickers, “You’re one to talk.” Alejandro chuckles, “No, my friend, not ugly. He is mangled.” König stares at the mirror he sees, brooding. He’s hunched in the small chair, his eye holes dark as he glares through the window.

Ghost growls when he hears that they pulled up König’s mask. “I know they’re the enemy, but never take a man’s mask off,” his voice is low and deadly and other than a quick glare at Ale, Ghost ignores him and radiates rage. They called him ugly, mangled, like Kö wasn’t the most beautiful creature they laid eyes on. They took his mask off. He doesn’t even bother waiting around, all but busting into the room and slamming the door shut. He stalks up to König and grabs him by the jaw, making him look up and into the light. Simon can see his eyes like this and he searches them for the hurt he knows is there.

König won’t look at him, squirming in the chair instead. He feels the other eyes on him and hates it, wanting to just curl into a ball and die, “Are you going to take it off too?” He sounds so hurt, Simon doesn’t even need to see his eyes.

Ghost squeezes König’s jaw tighter and snarls, “Look at me and ask that again.” He wants to see König’s eyes. He needs to see them, needs to know that he still has his boy.

König looks up at him and now his eyes brew with tears. The eyeblack around his pretty eyes is stained from previous tears and he can’t even ask, choking up on the words and setting his jaw instead. Ghost can feel it click into place and König looks away again, not daring to make eye contact anymore.

Ghost leans down and whispers to Kö where others can’t hear, “I would never. I promised to wait. Now, we have to play a little game, so either play along, or this won’t be good.” He steps back, giving an expectant look. Ghost can’t be nice now, but he’s angry that Kö has been violated to the point he doesn’t trust Simon.

König stiffens, looking at the window and then looking back at Simon, “I will.” He squirms against the binds on his chair, making the chair creak as he pulls against the rickety thing. The poor, old chair isn’t made for a giant to pull at it, and a screw falls off of the chair just from König wiggling.

Ghost starts to circle the chair, pulling out a knife and examining it, testing its blade then frowning and putting it away. He does this a few times before he settles, wielding a long, thin knife with a wicked blade that König has never seen before. He crouches and reaches up, grabbing Kö’s sleeve and cutting it off. He traces some nonsense patterns into the skin and asks softly, “How did you know where to get the stolen data?”

König leans back, looking back at Ghost and then closing his eyes, “I will kill you.” He’s not scared. Either he dies at the hands of Simon, who he reveres, or he lives and gets to feel Simon’s touch. He likes both options, but he plays Simon’s game, “[German] Tear your skin from your bones and hang it from the ceiling. How would you like to feel that?”

Ghost chuckles, “How cute. Thinking you’re in control.” He leans in again and murmurs, “Gonna make you bleed, gonna make it pretty.” He presses the knife in and makes a swirl on König’s shoulder, keeping it swift and just deep enough to scar later.

König growls, squirming under the blade and flinging his head back to headbutt Simon, “I want them to leave, I can still feel them watching.” He looks back at Ghost, “Make them leave and I’ll talk.” He’s lying, and Ghost knows it, but he wants the one who has seen his face and touched it to leave. He wants to tell Ghost what happened.

Ghost pulls back, “See, not so hard.” He leaves quickly and snaps, “Go. Get out of here. I’ll report back with what I find out.” He refuses to go back in until everyone, including Price and especially Ale is gone. Ghost comes back in and sits on his knees, “They’re gone. Can I finish this while you tell me what happened?” His hands brush the sliced skin and his voice is soft, comforting.

König nods, “They took my second mask, the one I wear around you.” He whimpers, “They broke it in front of me.” He shivers when the knife cuts a little deeper than the other slices, and he says, “They mocked me, they teased me. A man, not the colonel, I don’t know who, held my face and laughed.” Tears brew in his eyes again and he mumbles, “And when they pulled the mask off, the second one, their faces…” he lets out a heavy sigh, “They were disgusted, they were scared.”

Ghost stays quiet for a bit, finishing his carving before backing up a bit. He’s shaking and explodes before König, whipping a knife out and throwing it, plunging the blade into the window so fast it hardly even cracks, it just lodges itself up to the hilt. He pants heavily and snarls, “I can’t believe they dared.” He turns around and grabs König’s face, kissing him through the mask roughly. “You are the most beautiful thing I know. They’re gonna hurt for what they did to you,” Ghost promises that, he’s gonna see blood spilled. No more alliance, Ale no longer has Simon’s trust. His men are just as bad as all the other men the Los Vaqueros are fighting.

König huffs, “You don’t even see my face, you don’t even know.” He wiggles from the binds, untying his boots and then standing. He leaves the room, feeling heavy, and feels the blood running down his arm. He looks back at Simon, then can’t stand looking at him anymore, feeling conflicted and busting into the other confessional rooms. He unties the men that are still alive, getting out quietly and dragging his bloodied arm over surfaces so it looks like there was more of a struggle.

Ghost catches up to König and pulls him to a side room, pinning him. “Stop running from me. Why are you running from me,” König is leaving Ghost, somehow not understanding that he has been claimed. “Show me. I wanna see you,” Ghost’s eyes soften a bit, pleading for König to just show him.

König tugs his mask down worriedly and shakes his head, “You can’t see, I don’t want you to see.” He sends his men ahead when they call for him, peeking out of the room, “[German] I am gathering dog tags. Go on, leave me a Jeep.” His men nod, and he leans back into the room with Ghost, leaning on his favorite enemy, “I’m going to keep watching you, but you cannot watch me, not my face.”

Ghost takes a small step back, a bit hurt. He sighs, knowing he promised he’d wait but not liking how König was trying to slip away. “Will you come into my room again?” He doesn’t want to lose his nights with a warm body in his bed. He doesn’t want König to go somewhere else! König is his!

König nods, “I must find a new mask, for under this one. You do not like this one, but I cannot sleep with nothing on.” He pets Simon’s balaclava, “Do you have extras? If I stay tonight, will you have one for me? I do not own extras of mine.”

Ghost nods, a small thrill running through him at the thought of seeing König in his gear. “They’re soft, not scratchy,” he knows textures can feel weird against one’s face. Time is ticking for them here though and Simon grins, “Hit me. Hard. Cut me. You have to get out, and I have to look like I fought you.”

König nods, pressing a sweet kiss to Simon’s cheek and tapping their heads together gently, “I am sorry for what I am about to do.” He leans back with a wince, slamming his fist right into Simon’s cheekbone and making the skin around Simon’s eye swell. He grabs one of Simon’s knives and cuts his gear open, not piercing his skin but making him look weathered. He grabs Simon’s neck and shoves him to the ground, “Go quiet, my Ghost.” He leans in to speak into Ghost’s comms, “You will regret what you did to me.” He mutes Ghost’s comms again, kissing Ghost’s swollen cheek, “You must be passed out, yes? I will see you tonight.” He runs from the room, slipping away from Ghost’s grasp again. It takes about two minutes for Ghost to be in someone’s company again as Gaz finds him, calling to the rest of his crew, “I found him!” He rolls Ghost over, “Shite, man, can you hear me?”

Ghost’s eyes flutter, one starting to swell shut. He groans and shoves Gaz off, pushing himself up and pulling a hand to his head. “The fucker broke his binds. Got the rest of his team out,” he acts wobbly as he gets up, playing the head wound well but also the stubborn Ghost they all know and trying to pursue again.

Price stops him, “You don’t need to go after him.” Alejandro huffs, “I told you we shouldn’t have left them alone!” Soap shakes his head, “Not the time, Ale.” He helps Simon back to the main room, sitting him down, “Where are you hurt, LT?”

Ghost snarls at hands that get near him, “I’m fine. I want that bastard back.” He doesn’t want to sit, he wants to be home so he can crawl into bed with his boy. He refuses to acknowledge Ale either, almost hitting him when he strays too close. The 141 assumes it’s because Ghost has a strange feeling about masks, remembering the anger Ale was met with earlier.

Ale huffs at Ghost, handing him a file, “You missed the debrief.” When Ghost opens the file, there is a Polaroid photo of a man who’s so heavily scarred he doesn’t even look human. Short, tufted brown hair sits on the man’s thin face, his cheeks burned through to expose teeth and gums on each side, while some of the teeth that are exposed are missing. He glares at the camera, the eyeblack around his eyes not streaky with tears yet. Part of the man’s nose is missing, as well as one of his ears. His whole face is disfigured in such a nightmarish way that Soap peeks again out of morbid curiosity and then shivers. Ale smirks, “Now you see why we kept the mask on. His real first name is Klaus and we have reason to believe that his last name is actually König. His dog tags don’t even say his name. How interesting. A man so secretive, yet so unique. Like something out of a horror movie.” Soap pouts, “I feel bad for the guy. There’s no need to be so mean to him.” Ale raises an eyebrow, “König alone killed six of my men before we got him sedated. I do not feel bad for this machine at all.”

Ghost slams the file shut, stealing the photos so no one else can see. Before anyone can realize what’s going on, he’s on Ale, hands around his throat and snarling at him. “Why the hell did you take the mask!? Would you take mine off?! Show everyone my disfigurements!? Tell your team how fucking ugly I am!? Then why him!?” Ghost is yelling at Ale now, picking him up by the neck and slamming his head down in a vicious attack.

Ale is so shocked, he doesn’t even try to fight back, dizzy from hitting the floor so hard. Gaz, Price, and Soap have to yank Ghost off and hold him back, Price barking something in Ghost’s ear that doesn’t even phase him. His team drags the spitting-angry man out, Soap yelping, “Ghost! What has gotten in to you?!”

Ghost shoves at them and squirms, yanking off his mask and showing off the scars that mar his face. “I’ve done this out of trust! That fucker took König’s mask off out of hate! I spent weeks with him, and he fucking cooked for me, and my allies have so little respect for those captured they call them fucking monsters after they expose them. Basic decency is owed to even those we kill! We don’t strip them, we don’t humiliate them, we cut, we torture, we kill. Clean and easy, but Vargas and his men are no better than the street rats we help him clear!”

Soap and Gaz don’t know what to say, while Price tugs Simon away by his arm, getting out of earshot and looking at Simon, setting a hand on his shoulder, “I do not agree with what they did, I’m gonna start by saying that.” He sighs, “But you need to control yourself.” He glances back to the base, “I understand that you might have… sympathies… towards the colonel, but I need you to understand he’s still the enemy. I’m sorry we did not get you out of the bunker faster, but you cannot have sympathies for the enemy, son. What Colonel Vargas did was wrong, but that does not mean you attack our ally.”

Simon tugs his mask back on and spits, “I’d rather have König as an ally at this point.” He storms off, not even caring at this point what’s going on. His boy, his beautiful boy, was humiliated. Ghost finds a spot to hide away in and pulls out the picture again. He gets a proper look now, petting along the scars with gentle fingers. His beautiful boy. His beautiful boy.

//

When Simon gets back to his base, König sits in Simon’s bed, his arm bandaged and his shirt off. His boots sit by the door and he doesn’t look up at Simon. He offers a small box of chocolate strawberries, “I watched you hurt the colonel.” He shudders, “And, and what he showed to make you do that.” He looks up, “Why were you angry? Did my face make you angry?”

Ghost takes the strawberries and sets them aside carefully. “Will you take it off now? I’ve already seen the picture, but I want to see you,” he still wants to look. Ghost tilts Kö’s head up a bit, looking him in the eyes with hands gently cradling his face.

König quivers, moving the hands to tug his mask off. Ghost catches a glimpse and then König covers his face with his hands, shaking his head with a whimper, “You’ll leave me, you’ll think me gross! I can’t, I can’t!”

Simon carefully pets the back of König’s hands and murmurs, “I’ve already seen. It’s not gross. Not any grosser than my scars.” To make König feel more comfortable, Ghost carefully pulls his own mask off and shows his scars too, “Please. Let me see you.”

König cries as he pulls his hands away, “So much grosser than your scars! Your scars are so pretty, unique.” He shakes his head for his own, looking up at Simon with a sob as his eye black smudges even more, “I don’t even sleep with my mask off, I never take it off! And they, the people, they just-!” He tugs Simon close and buries his face in Simon’s shoulder, crying in front of Simon for the first, and probably not last, time.

Ghost wraps his arms around König and lets him cry. “It’s okay. I made them hurt for what they did. I’m gonna make them hurt more. No one harms my pretty boy. No one,” he rubs König’s back softly, leaning against him so he can press in closer.

König presses even closer, trying to make himself as small as possible, “My, my mama didn’t know me when I came home, put on leave for this.” He curls his legs to his chest, then can’t stand it anymore and covers his face again, “And, and they pictured it! Click, click! I can’t, I, I need-!” He gets himself so worked up, his hands starting to tingle and his breaths getting shallow as he glides right into a panic attack.

Simon takes his balaclava and gently tugs it on König’s face, letting him hide away again. The pressure is soft and comforting and it takes all the eyes off Kö’s face. He still has the photo, tucked into his kit, but he wants to keep it. He likes it. Ghost sits further on the bed and pulls König with him, wrapping his arms tighter around him and rocking him gently. “It’s gonna be okay. I’ve got you,” Ghost presses a soft kiss to Kö’s covered scalp, trying to calm him down.

König holds the edges of the soft fabric with rough hands, keeping it down and covering his eyes with Simon’s shoulder, “I’m sorry, I’m sorry, you shouldn’t have to see this.” He sucks in a huge breath, “You were never going to see it, I did not want you to. So you couldn’t run away, like, like the others.” He breathes in the smell of Ghost, “I didn’t want you to leave me, and you will, you’ll kick me out in the middle of the night. Lay me down outside and leave me, and I will die with the ugliest face.”

Ghost refuses to let go of König, growling softly, “I’m not leaving. I’ve already seen it, and I’m staying.” He just wants König to let him see it.

König grabs Ghost’s shoulders and looks up at him, staring into his eyes while he still cries, “No one wants to fall asleep next to this.” He sets their foreheads together, “Please don’t lie, it only hurts worse.” He whimpers, “Let me enjoy our last night, yes? Bitte.”

Ghost can’t take it anymore. He snarls and shoves König onto the bed, “Like hell this is our last night. You’re not going anywhere. Even if I wanted to let you go, you’d always be mine. No one would mark you like I have. No one would please you like I have.” He presses his hand to the brand on König’s chest, wanting to tear his clothes off and break him open, maybe make a nest next to his heart and stay there.

König lays back, pulling Simon down on top of him and letting the weight comfort him. He doesn’t speak for a while, letting his breathing even out once more with all that Ghost has done for him. He stands, carrying Ghost with him, and covers the window, shutting the bathroom door and shoving a blanket under the door to block out anyone else from seeing. He lays back down, letting Ghost have one light, and he uncovers his face again, letting Ghost see the extent of his injuries. The photos don’t do him justice.

Ghost steps forward with nothing but pure adoration in his eyes. He cups König’s cheeks in his hands and runs his fingers over the smooth scars that make up Kö’s skin. His fingers dance over all the damage followed by Ghost’s lips. He kisses everywhere, pulling back to press their foreheads together and murmurs, “There’s my beautiful, beautiful boy.” His thumbs gently wipe away the smudged eye black and he cleans Kö up so he can admire his face again.

König can’t stifle a whimper when Simon compliments his looks, and he holds Simon’s hands shakily, “I told you not to lie to me.” He pulls away, looking away and telling Simon, “I can’t be beautiful, not like you.” He looks up, petting Simon’s soft cheeks, “I like the hair, the curls, and the, the spots.” He pets along the thick line of freckles, then pets Simon’s thin scars from start to finish, “No one recoils in fear when they see you, not like they do me. No one can’t stand to look at you. You are very pretty, and I do not deserve to be in your presence.”

Ghost frowns, “I’m not lying. People are scared of me. I can’t go out like a normal person or people run. My own hometown knows what these mean.” He pets his own cheeks, “Bad people get these. But yours. They’re so smooth. No ugly lumps from where it was torn open again. No way I could ever forget who my lover is. I will always remember who’s mine because he has the prettiest face. The one I love.” Ghost loves König’s face, no one else has.

König whimpers softly, shaking his head and pressing his head to Simon’s chest, “I’m sorry you have to love this.” He pulls Simon’s mask back on with a shudder, pulling the creepy one on over that and feeling much safer, “It’s not fair to you.”

Ghost is more keen to not look at König when his loose mask is on. “I don't want fair, I want you,” he’s not sorry at all, he’d kill for that face just to keep him a little bit longer.

König blinks, then pulls Simon back on top of him, “I want you too.”

//

König lurks by Simon’s window, climbing in when Ghost is asleep. He shuts everything, closing out all of the light and tugging his masks off. He crawls into bed with Simon, pressing a rough kiss to Ghost’s scarred temple and staying awake to ward off any night terrors.

Ghost rolls in his sleep and presses into König. He’s seen his face all of twice now, and each time he finds something to compliment on it or just calls him beautiful. He’s put in requests to dissolve the alliance with the Los Vaqueros, and while Price is hesitant, he hasn’t seen his lieutenant so insistent on something in years.

//

König peeks into the window, finding Ghost and leaning in farther, “Will you accompany me on leave?” He wiggles into the room and tugs off the creepy mask, scooping Ghost up, “We will go to my hometown, yes?”

Ghost takes a moment to slip their masks up to their noses and to kiss König, missing his boy dearly when he’s gone. “When? I’ll have to ask, but Price should be delighted I’m taking off,” he nuzzles at Kö’s neck, nibbling and marking his skin too.

König nods, “One month, the third. We stay away for three months!” He pulls his mask fully off, since Ghost has uncovered everything König wants to conceal. His eyes aren’t his problem. He tucks the mask into Ghost’s pocket, “And tonight, I would like to go to the bar. They are having a deal!” He grins, showing off his missing teeth, “You speak Deutsch, you get two free beers! The bartender is from Berlin.”

Ghost smirks, “Teach me some phrases so we both get free beers.” They can easily get through two apiece, so might as well maximize beers. Ghost has only one thing to check before he goes and so he reaches down and gropes Kö, trying to see if he has the cage on. Ghost won’t let him go to this bar without it and him by his side.

König squeaks, but sure enough, he has the pretty little cage on. He swats Ghost’s hand away and grumbles, “Yes, yes, it is there. And I cannot teach you, he will see right through the ploy! He asks a different question each time and you must answer with fluency.” He shakes his head, “I will simply buy your drinks. I think you are capable, but he will see right through your accent.”

Ghost frowns but shrugs, mostly content that König is wearing the cage. He likes when they get too riled up to wait and he swells to fill it up. Ghost will tease the tip with little licks and make Kö suffer before even considering using his key to get access. “Let’s go, I’m ready for a good drink,” he makes sure he has his key just in case then ushers Kö back out the window after handing him his masks.

König tugs Simon onto his back eagerly, “He says he doesn’t like my Deutsch, but it still counts. I am not Deutsch, but Österreicher, and he likes to tell me that.” König is content to walk with Simon on his back, not letting him down and kissing Simon’s hand and arm through his masks when he thinks he has gone too long without doing it.

Ghost takes all the kisses with pleased noises, even returning a few of his own. He doesn’t understand the difference König described, but nods along like he does and gives a huff like he’s just slightly annoyed at the bartender.

König shivers as he enters the city, seeing that the bar is busy. He lets himself take a moment, then sets Ghost down, holding Ghost’s hand as he slips inside. He isn’t ID’d, as the bouncer knows him and doesn’t want König to stress more. König tugs Ghost in before he can get caught, slipping up to the bar and sitting at the end. König smiles when the bartender comes up, “[German] Long time no see, Marmeladinger. Still dropping bottles on customers’ feet?” He’s snarky, an emotion Ghost has yet to see on the usually so anxious man.

Ghost watches with intrigue and a bit of jealousy. The barkeep smirks, “[German] There’s the Schnürschuh I was expecting. Knew I’d draw you in with the offer. What kind do you want or should I just ask your friend?” He grabs two mugs out, thinking he knew what König wanted but waiting for the answer.

König waves at him dismissively, “[German] The one you hate so much. Nothing has changed, though maybe your tastebuds have improved?” He snickers, speaking in his mother tongue still, “And this one does not like beer, so I’m told. You’ll have to ask him what he wants, but it’s on my tab.”

The keep nods, filling the mugs up full for his friend and providing one of the straws he keeps on hand for König. He turns to Ghost next and asks in a heavy accent, “König is paying. Tell me what you want.” Ghost shoots a glare at Kö, but mutters, “Bourbon, on the rocks.” He gets a nod and a drink within seconds, the man scooting away and leaving the two to drink in peace.

König giggles, then turns to Ghost, “He sold me the couch in my living room. We have been at odds ever since. He’s so terrible.” He watches the barkeeper with friendly eyes, though, but it’s never anything past that. He leans closer to Ghost, “But he gives me free beer, so I stay.”

Ghost grins, scooting a bit closer to keep his claim over Kö. “Free alcohol of any kind is good.” Even beer, which Ghost rarely lets touch his lips. The bourbon works well to loosen Simon up, the man seeming to relax and spread out by his third glass.

König stiffens when someone approaches Ghost. She sits next to him, “Is this seat taken?” Then sets a hand on his arm, “I couldn’t leave you two alone over here!” She giggles, pressing her boobs up a little more and her dress has been fixed to accentuate her curves. König stares at her with wide eyes when she mainly targets his Ghost, gripping the handle of his beer tightly.

Ghost sneers behind his mask and leans away, taking his arm away. “We aren’t alone,” he grumbles, nursing his drink and trying to face away. He rolls his eyes a bit, wondering what about him seems to draw her in. He’s clearly with Kö!

The woman is not deterred, “So you come together? That’s okay! I have a friend.” She smiles, setting a hand on Ghost’s upper thigh and purring, “You’re so cute, I couldn’t leave you alone. I like a man in a mask.” That makes König lean close, “You do, hmm?” He tugs his mask up to show off his disfigured face, “I don’t tend to leave it on, though.” He sets a protective hand on Ghost’s dick, where her hand is shockingly close to, and glares into her soul. She stares, then her face turns pale and she gets up, running back to her friend with many glances back at König, who tugs his mask back down grumpily, still holding Ghost’s clothed dick with a firm hand, “How shallow, hmm?”

Ghost paid no attention to the woman once König’s hand was on his dick, his mind solely on the pressure. “Fuck,” he moans lowly, rutting up carefully and nearly moaning loudly when he’s squeezed. He glances over at Kö then murmurs, “That was hot.”

König snickers, “You think so?” He gives Ghost a final grope, then turns back to his last few sips of beer, downing them and finishing off his fourth glass, “Do you want to stay here much longer, my handsome boy?” He gets his card out already, waving his favorite barkeep over.

Ghost shakes his head, finishing off his glass and setting the glass down. “We’ll have to sneak back on base, then I want you to fuck me into the bed,” he pushes into Kö, desperately wanting the bartender to hurry up with the card. He finally hands it back and sends König off with a, “[German] Take care of your needy friend. I don’t want you two fucking over my counter.”

König smirks, “[German] I know you’d watch, though.” He pulls his boy away, giggling as they walk back to base and slipping into Ghost’s window. He tugs his clothes off, still sporting his mask and his little cock cage. He has filled out in it, and is pressing against the limited space he has. He whines softly, “Want me to fuck you? Please open it.”

Ghost kneels down and licks the tip through the cage, looking up at König with a false innocence. He teases him for a few minutes like that before carefully unlocking the cage and slipping it off. Ghost acts quickly, taking Kö’s cock down like a regular street whore, choking on it and shoving for more.

König stumbles back, but drags Ghost with him, moaning and helping Ghost down. He uses his head for a moment, then growls and picks Ghost up, setting him down on the countertop in his bathroom and yanking his pants down greedily. He pours some lube into his hand and spreads it around Ghost’s ass, then shoves three fingers in and spreads Ghost impatiently.

Ghost cries out, not used to such a sudden stretch but basking in the burn of it. “Just fuck- get in me already!” He presses back, wanting to feel König split him open and use him like a toy.

König tugs his fingers out and slams in without warning, pounding in from the start and shoving Ghost into the hard countertop, grabbing his hair and pulling his head up, “Look at how pretty. [German] Watch how I ruin you.” He leans in, biting Ghost’s neck as he splits the poor man open.

Ghost watches himself in the mirror, looking completely debauched as König pounds into him. He’s sure this isn’t safe, that König is too big to take so suddenly, but when Kö slams in and Ghost can feel it in his throat, he doesn’t care. He squirms, feeling the pain shoot through his body, then his mind twists it into pleasure as it rockets up his spine.

König loves all the sounds that Ghost makes, biting his neck again and again. He pulls away when Ghost is covered, licking his lips, “[German] You asked for this, didn’t you? You wanted this!” He tugs Ghost’s hair harder, making him keep watching, growling right into Ghost’s ear, “Slut. You only live for pain.”

Ghost has never heard anything more true. He nods frantically, almost losing his mind to how everything feels, how the blood dripping down him feels, and how Kö takes him. “Please,” he almost screams it out, “I need to cum. I need it.” He’s so loud, begging like the precious thing he is for his orgasms.

König pinches the base of Ghost’s cock and growls, “No.” He glares at Ghost in the mirror, “You wait for me. I’m not even close!” He slaps Ghost’s ass, “Greedy whore! Selfish!” He likes the way Ghost’s eyes roll into the back of his head and aims for Ghost’s prostate to keep them rolled back.

Ghost can’t help the choked scream that comes out, his body shaking with denial. He’s right there, it would take nothing to tip over the edge and feel the bliss, but he can’t. He clenches around Kö, sucking him in and giving him a tight squeeze, his body trying to please him.

König grips Ghost’s dick tighter and doesn’t relent, making Ghost teeter on the edge for ten more minutes. He lets go, jerking Ghost off hard as they both cum for the first time, biting into Ghost’s shoulder and digging his fingers into Ghost’s mark greedily.

Simon screams, his body going limp as pain and pleasure tear through him. He’s left with nothing, mind completely blank and body twitching with the aftershocks.

König scoops him up and treats Simon to the best aftercare, stealing Simon away with gentle hands and sweet kisses.

//

König tugs Simon off base, already in his civvy clothes, “I am glad Captain Price agreed to let you leave. Does he know about me?” Soap knows Ghost has been fucking someone, but he doesn’t know who, and it has been driving him crazy. Gaz and Soap have been pestering Ghost to spill.

Ghost shakes his head, “None of my team know, though the sergeants are getting pesky with their asking.” He’s been looking forward to his leave for a while now, content with it because he’ll get to spend the entire time in König’s arms or on his cock.

König huffs, “I wish they could know.” He puts their luggage in a taxi he called and lets Ghost in first, slipping in second and routing the GPS to the airport, “I wish I could stay with you all hours, like your teammates do. Sit in when you train and eat when you eat.”

Ghost fights the urge to nuzzle in, knowing most would see it as inappropriate for such a public setting. “Me too. You’ll have me all day, every day here soon,” Ghost sounds like he could purr, so many fun ideas floating around his head.

König nods, “I want to be domestic with you, in a way I cannot be on the field.” He holds Ghost’s hand gently, “Want to cook breakfast and drink wine and dance with you.” He smiles, nudging Ghost, “Do you like to dance, Simon?”

Ghost shakes his head, “Never done domestic. I stay on field or in barracks.” He almost frowns at the idea of domesticity, it sounds boring to him. Still, if Kö wants to try, who is he to deny his boy something nice.

König huffs, “I have never done it either but I want to try, yes? You like my face, no one likes my face. I feel strongly towards you in a way I have never felt towards anyone before. I want to watch you all day. Want to feed you my food, want you to wear my clothes. I want your life to be perfect, because then, mine will be too.”

Ghost opens up a bit at that explanation, nodding slowly, “Yes, we can try.” He reaches up and pets Kö’s face, smiling softly at him. He can try to not be so destructive for Kö.

König smiles, “You will get to know my real name, Simon. How interesting is that?” Something neither have talked about is how König only has one name, and it’s just his call sign. None of the interrogated KorTac operators know his name, and no government files have König’s real name. Only one person in the world knows König’s real name, and she’s not on speaking terms with her son right now.

Ghost looks up with almost wild eyes. He gets to know. “I can’t wait till I can taste it on my lips,” he likes hearing Kö call him Simon, though it’s still strange, and he’s excited to know just how much he owns of his boy, even Kö’s name will be his.

König laughs, “No one else knows, no one but mama.” He shrugs, “And she isn’t talking to me anymore.” He pets Ghost’s face, “I will tell you once we reach my home. I don’t want any other ears to hear, like other eyes saw my face.”

Ghost nods, he can wait for it. He’d wait forever just to know a letter. They get on the plane and blissfully get a row to themselves, Ghost pushing an armrest up and yanking Kö partly into his seat in order to cram them together. He doesn’t like having so many people around him, they might hurt him or try and take his König.

König watches Ghost throughout the flight, and when they land, he tugs Ghost away greedily, getting out and calling another taxi. They’re in Austria, and the languages that swirl around Ghost’s head all mix together. König tells the cab driver his address, and he climbs in with Ghost and their luggage, leaning on Ghost and yawning softly, “There is no food at my house.”

Ghost nods, “Can we order stuff here?” He doesn’t want to leave and risk not hearing König’s name as soon as possible. He also doesn’t want to face the dizzying language just yet, wanting to settle down for the night.

König nods, calling some food in on their way to his home. As they approach, Ghost sees König’s home. It’s very small, but it seems perfect for one man. There aren’t many windows, and there are four exit doors. It’s one story, with one bedroom and one bathroom. The kitchen and living room are connected, with a thin wall sectioning them off, though the wall has a large open window to the living room. König lets Ghost inside and carries his stuff in too. He closes the door, doing his normal, fearful sweep, then catching Ghost, pulling him into a sweet kiss.

Ghost’s lips feel sluggish as he kisses back, hands trying to stay gentle but digging into König’s hips nonetheless. He pulls back and mumbles, “I like the place. It’s cozy.” Small, not bigger than the bunker they spent a few weeks in, but just barely having enough space with the living room and large kitchen.

König nods, looking down into Ghost’s eyes. He pulls both of their masks off and sets them to the side, petting Ghost’s face, “My name is Niko. Nikolas König. My callsign is my last name.” He shudders, “It is weird to say out loud. No one knows.”

“Niko,” the name is whispered in such a reverent manner, Ghost making sure he likes how it feels on his tongue before he pounces. He takes a few moments to process it before he slams their lips together, needing their usual hungry, passionate kiss before he can do anything else. Ghost pulls back and holds Niko’s face before giving him a near wild grin, “Make me scream it.”

Niko really likes the reverent tone, tugging Simon to the bedroom and shutting the door. The lock clicks into place and encapsulates them in their own private bubble, far away from the rest of the world.
