Chapter Text
The neon glow of the city bathed the Vivid street in an ethereal light as Saki, her heart a discord of conflicting emotions, approached the cozy café. Miyu, her fake date for the evening, awaited inside, unaware that this simple meetup would trigger a series of events that would define Leo/need forever.
"Hey, Saki! You look amazing," Miyu exclaimed, offering a bright smile as Saki slid into the seat opposite her. Saki managed a grateful smile, her thoughts elsewhere.
"Thanks, Miyu. I appreciate you doing this," Saki replied, her voice laced with hidden unease.
"No problem! It's like being in a drama, right? We'll make it fun!"
"Yeah, I guess you're right, let's just make the most out of it"
"That's the spirit, Come on let's order" Miyu said, trying to brighten the mood
Meanwhile, at the same café, the trio—Ichika, Shiho, and Honami—gathered for what they believed would be a typical evening. Little did they know, the turn of events set to unfold would challenge the core of their friendship.
Saki unaware that the other three members have been looking at her and her "date" for a while now. They were so surprised when they saw Saki enter the cafe with her. She cancelled her plans with them, saying she had some prior engagement. They never would've thought it was because of this.
Ichika, eyes lingering on Saki's departure, voiced her concern. "Did she seem off to you guys? I mean, we've gone out individually before, but this feels different."
Shiho, always the collected one, analyzed the situation. "It's just a casual outing isn't it. What're you worrying about?"
Honami, the compassionate one, clutched her tea, eyes reflecting worry. "I hope everything's okay. Maybe she's just trying something new with new friends?"
As Saki and Miyu immersed themselves in conversation, the trio engaged in their own silent dialogue. Ichika, sensing a distance growing, bit her lip before finally expressing, "Do you think she's avoiding us?"
Shiho, examining the nuances, suggested, "Perhaps she's trying to figure things out on her own."
Honami, her empathy shining through, sighed, "I wish she'd talk to us about what's bothering her. We can share these things with each other, right?"
The trio exchanged glances, their usual ease replaced by pervasive tension. In the midst of laughter and camaraderie, an unspoken question lingered—was their bond strong enough to weather this new unknown storm?
Back at the café, Saki, feeling a bit better laughed, at one of Miyu's jokes, unaware that her bandmates were wrestling with doubts and uncertainties. As the night unfolded, the café's ambient warmth did little to dispel the growing chill in the hearts of the trio.
A single question echoed in their minds: Was this the beginning of a fracture in the harmony they cherished?
