hi!! pacifist and genocide spoilers because i want to know
Did Martlet take a syringe of Determination from Alphys’ lab, or did she take Chujin’s serum??
now see you could prove Both sides (which i will be doing in this (informal) essay)
Determination Factors:
- martlet going into alphys lab
- injecting herself with More Determination gave her a much more powerful form (much like undyne the undying, you could say)
- she melted after her body couldn’t handle the determination anymore
however you could disprove by saying..
- martlet experienced true lab because of chujin’s words, and did not get anything from down there
chujin serum factors:
- she couldve been told by the feisty five about the secret workshop. however the events of genocide would (probably) not lead them to find it on their own
- the new more powerful form was from being transformed into a boss monster
- she also melted from this as well.
- However, kanako, right before “dying” her soul turned blue and broke apart; she “fell down.” we know that the fusion-extraction did not work because the blue soul was not Pure, and ended up deteriorated her soul; and since she was so young, it led to her death.
- sooo it possibly could’ve been martlet’s cause of death. the reason martlet lasted this long is because 1, she’s an adult, 2, she has a Lot of Determination already from trying to stop clover. “right now, i feel invigorated .”
could disprove by saying..
- the going-into-the-lab thing for a determination syringe was a lot more clear than if she got the chujin serum
- melting probably wouldve happened either way
random other things im thinking
- did she turn into dust by the hands of clover, or melt away from ramifications of the injection? undyne melted but then turned to dust.. ??!?!!!
- im not too sure if martlet going into the lab was a Far Flashback (far in the past, near when chujin told her about humans being dangerous,) or a Near Flashback (happened recently, maybe she just went into the lab a few hours ago
- alphys Was there, she said she was just going to move cameras to snowdin and stuff.. this could speak for either way
if this was in the past, alphys would be fine traversing throughout the underground on her own, no murdery humans roaming around..
it could be recent too, as we know alphys is the one who escorted everyone to a safer location, she would last fine on her own etc etc. (however she was just moving cams so im leaning towards flashback)
