Westeros changed because of the death of one man. One maester who did not wholly serve the house he was assigned to.

Excerpts from: A Brief History of the Rise of King Rhaegar I Targaryen and The Great Rebellion by Archmaester Lynore

In 263, three moons into Queen Rhaella’s second pregnancy, Grand Maester Pycelle died of mysterious circumstances. Some say it was a fast-acting cold. Others say it was poison. Smallfolk sing that it was an assassin’s blade, though there were no wounds. But with the Grand Maester’s death, a new maester was brought to the capital, and a new healthy Targaryen princess was born moons later. Princess Shaena was born later in 263, and was promptly betrothed to her elder brother, the then prince but now King, Rhaegar. Grand Maester Arnold was the one who watched over the birth…

…Between 263 and 284, five new Targaryens would enter the world and grow to be healthy and useful for the upcoming trial of the house. Prince Daeron would be born at the turn of the new year in 267. Prince Aegon would be born in the middle of 271. Prince Jaehaerys was born three years later with Prince Viserys following him in another two years. There would be a gap between the mad King's children until his final child and second daughter, Princess Daenerys, was born in 284, a few moons after the Rebellion…

…birth seemed to calm the anxious and unstable king and renew some of his interest in ruling the realm. His ambitions for grand plans continued, where he actually followed up on three of them, though they were the least grand of them all. The first was the Great Aqueduct of King Aerys, which brought gallons of fresh, clean water from the mountains of the Vale, greatly improving the health of the city. This was started two years before the Defiance of Duskendale, which saw King Aerys go from Aerys the Good to Aerys the Mad, but wasn’t finished before his next good project, though he went about a terrible way of getting that one completed…

…The glorious Rebellion of Rhaegar was seen as a triumph of genius and savvy political thinking. When the Starks, Baratheons, and Arryns first rebelled against the Targaryens, the loyalists were on the back foot. The then Prince Rhaegar was off with the love of his life, protecting her from her former betrothed, so the loyalists didn’t know what to do. The loyalists were Tyrell, Martell, and various minor lords in the Riverlands, Vale, and Stormlands, while the rebels had the North, most of the Vale and Stormlands, and some of the Riverlands. There were first battles in the Vale, Stormlands, and in the Reach…

…Prince Daeron, not knowing where his elder brother was, bartered an alliance with the Lannisters to gain a powerful ally. Prince Daeron marched with an armed escort of one thousand men to go to Casterly Rock and marry his bride. Once the two were wedded and bedded, the Lannister armies were on the march. A moon and a fortnight after this wedding, Prince Rhaegar returned.

The Martells already had an alliance with the betrothal of Prince Aegon, now called “The Elder”, and Princess Arianne…

…the prince was able to meet with the rebels before a battle along the Trident could start. What was truly said and what words were exchanged, only those few in the tent could say. But we know that Rhaegar offered mercy to the rebel lords as long as they turned their swords on his father, the Mad King Aerys. They will get justice for the wrongs committed by the king. If they didn’t, they could go into exile, but their families would be safe and acquire their rights and inheritances.

“I am not my father. I won’t punish one's family for the actions of their kin,” are some of the only words that can be reliably said to have been spoken in the tent at this time. The only other reliable account of what happened was words were exchanged about Lady Lyanna. What these exact words were, again, none but those there would tell.

And so Lord Stark, Lord Tully, and Lord Arryn, with almost all of their bannermen, bent the knee to Prince Rhaegar, declaring him King. Lord Robert was the only one who couldn’t, as were a few stormlords and men from the Riverlands and Vale. But true to his word, Prince Rhaegar allowed those to leave the realm, unmolested and with their possessions and some gold. Their families inherited…

…king was slain to protect the city and the lives of Princess Shaena. Jaime Lannister was hailed as a hero by many and spat upon as an oath breaker by others. But the Queen, who protected the young knight from harsh punishment, has been accounted to call him the bravest man in the Red Keep. The siege of the city lasted little more than a fortnight, which all involved were glad for as the realm could now be cleaned up.

King Rhaegar sent Eddard Stark south with supplies and orders to relieve Storm’s End and get the Baratheon boys to surrender. Then he was sent to the Dornish mountains to retrieve his sister…

House Targaryen

Dowager Queen Rhaella (Born 247 at Dragonstone) – After three difficult pregnancies, she was able to secure the dynasty with seven new Targaryen children, the middle four being far easier pregnancies than the first two and her last. Her main goal is to secure the safety of her family and to finally gain some true peace in her miserable life. She is doing all she can to stop the obsessions of her eldest son and keep her children from fighting each other.

• • • The former queen is a secret pillar of support behind the throne. Most see her as a timid victim of her brother-husband, and while she still gets many nightmares and bouts of anxiety, she is anything but timid against those who might oppose her family. She is also the only one who can control her children and keep their hands from doing anything drastic.
    • She has regained her youthful beauty and energy with the death of her abusive brother-husband. Her long silver-gold hair is the envy of many ladies in court. She has silver-gold hair is long, framing her sharply elegant face. Her purple eyes hold a steady gaze, giving the impression that little escaped her notice, as she is used to temperamental moods. Her high cheekbones and a firm jaw lent her beauty a quiet strength that few know she has. Her figure nowadays is that of a tall, poised, and undeniably full-figured woman, which catches many eyes now that her brother-husband is dead. She is said to have gotten taller and more vocal after the Mad King’s death, but there are still times when she does shrink and be the victim she had been for such a long time.
• King Rhaegar Targaryen (Born 259 at Summerhall) – The great and noble king of the realm. He has ruled a tense realm for almost twenty years. There are many who hunger for his death, and there are enemies all over. The Greyjoy Uprising proved just that, though it also helped with his legitimacy. He was nearly killed during the storming of Pyke but he has managed to keep the realm together, but tensions are growing from his own house, from Essos, and beyond the Wall.
  • • His obsession with prophecy has continued to run how he rules the realm, but he tries to be a good man and a good father. He still gets bouts of melancholy from time to time and frequently visits the rebuilding Summerhall.
    • He is tall, which some might be surprised by, with the great burdens he seems to carry. He is of lean build with some muscle, but nothing like his brothers. No one would think he was visually weak, but no one has, rightfully, assumed him to be the physically strongest of Targaryen kings either. His handsome face has more than a few wrinkles, but most agree that this just adds to his beauty. He bears a strong square jaw and sharp, deep purple eyes. He has a straight nose and high cheeks. His mouth always seems to be in a perpetual state of frowning or pouting, as the king often broods. His once long silver-blond hair is now far shorter, barely going past his ears, with a clean-shaven face.
• Queen Shaena Targaryen (Born 263 at King’s Landing) – The beautiful and loyal queen of the realm. She has birthed three perfect children for the king and the kingdom. When she was in the womb, Rhaella was having difficulties, but once Grand Maester Pycelle died, things improved for her mother. She remained at the capital for the entirety of Rhaegar’s Rebellion and was almost killed by her own father. Some say she approved of Lyanna and Rhaegar, as she was thought to not be able to have another child. But others say it was more a reluctance just to feed her brother-husband’s delusions of prophecy. But all know to keep the mentions of Lyanna Stark to a minimum in her presence.
  • • Queen Shaena is helping the king do everything to keep the Targaryens in power and not be like many extinct and exiled houses by making alliances and holding the family together. She is against any that speak a kind word of her father. She is truly the queen of the realm.
    • Queen Shaena bears a resemblance to her mother, with a full figure, though with a more pronounced bosom and a defined waist. Age has been mostly kind to her, with minimal weight gain, giving her a more pronounced hourglass figure. She is taller than most women but shorter than her brother-husband by two or so inches. She has the same pale violet eyes as her mother and long, thick, wavy silver-gold hair from her father, which she says is the only thing he ever gave her. She has an oval face with a good jaw, high cheekbones, and pale skin, but not empty, as she has a few freckles on her cheeks and nose. Her nose is straight and elegantly proportioned, as one might expect of a Targaryen beauty. She is undeniably beautiful with full lips, though she rarely smiles, looking either sad or expressionless.
  • Princess Rhaenys Targaryen (Born early 280 at Dragonstone) – The firstborn child of Rhaegar and Shaena. She is to be wedded to her brother, Aegon, in the year 300, along with her younger sister, Visenya, joining them in the bedding once she is of age. She remembers a bit of her father’s rebellion, mainly the heroics of Jaime Lannister and the misery her mother was in. She vividly remembers the fear of almost losing her father twice during the Greyjoy Rebellion. Some say she should’ve been named Visenya as she takes after her more than Queen Rhaenys.
    • She encourages Aegon’s promiscuous lifestyle and even participates with him as well. She is a gregarious woman with many friends. She can be hot-tempered at times. She wants to be a good queen and make changes to the realm. She is very protective of her siblings, though she has a strained relationship with her younger brother, Jacaerys, and to an extent, her younger sister as well. Dislikes Ironborn for their pointless rebellion.
    • She is thin, tall, and toned with the body of a skilled fighter. Her breasts are small in comparison to her mother's, grandmother's, and younger sister's, which has caused her great jealousy, though her breasts are by no means small, just in comparison to the others in her family. Her silver hair is perpetually tied up to best be out of the way for fighting, and her purple eyes scare even great warriors. Her eyes carried a posed watchfulness, suspicious of anyone and everyone. Her rounder face was soft but structured. She had the same high cheekbones as her parents and a nose more like her mother. Lips full and in a usual frown, if not a rueful smile, for those she disapproves of.
  • Crown Prince Aegon (Born late 281 at Dragonstone) – Called ‘The Younger’ or ‘Aeg’ or simply ‘Egg’ to differentiate him from his uncle. He is the secondborn of Rhaegar and Shaena. He is betrothed to his two sisters to complete a prophecy that he doesn’t believe in. He remembers none of the Rebellion but little of the Greyjoy Rebellion, and spends most of his time in King’s Landing or touring the realm.
    • Her loves his elder sister, and rumors are that he has been having relations with her for the past few years. He partially listens to the courtiers in blaming Visenya and Jacaerys for The Rebellion. He is eager for real power and has a desire to do good for the realm. He is also a womanizer, having bedded most serving girls in the Red Keep and quite a few noble ladies, and has a tendency to drink too much wine.
    • He is almost a twin of his father when Rhaegar was near twenty years old, though his face has more of a boyish charm and handsomeness. His jaw is lean, and his mouth either has a perpetual smile or a look of smug amusement. His nose is straight and identical to his father's. His silver-gold hair is cut short and worn in a carefully casual way, and he sports a short, clean beard as he is very well-groomed. His deep purple eyes are always filled with happiness and looking for the next thing to make him laugh or smile. He has more muscle mass than Rhaenys, but only barely, as he isn’t much of a fighter. He has the look of someone who can charm their way out of trouble, or into anyone's bed.
  • Princess Visenya (Born 285 at King’s Landing) – The third child of Shaena and the final child of Rhaegar, and only one to be born after her father ascended the throne. She looks like her father. Her birth was a surprise, and to most a very unwelcome one. The only life she knows is King’s Landing and Dragonstone with tours through the realm. She is called ‘The King’s folly’ for not being born a few years earlier and therefore stopping the Rebellion.
    • She is a timid girl and feels the weight of the blame put on her shoulders. She is betrothed to her elder brother, whom she is afraid of. She is very close to her half-brother, Jacaerys, who sympathizes with her as the blame of The Rebellion is put at his feet as well. She dreams of marrying him and not Aegon, living a quiet life in the North or at the slowly reconstructing Summerhall.
    • Soft and short, but thin. Her body is envied by many girls her age with her full breasts, wide hips, and a large, shapely backside. Her long platinum hair goes almost to the small of her back. Her wide, lilac eyes flicker with a torrent of emotions, ranging from shyness and fear to the occasional joy and love when she is near the right person. Her lips are soft and full, with an always shy smile or a fearful pout, except when she is with her few friends or her brother, Jacaerys. Her youthful, heart-shaped face harkens back to the beauties of Targaryens of old. Her features are soft, almost doll-like, which is how some people treat her, as though she is very fragile and can be manipulated. Her nose is similar to her mother's, as it is straight, but smaller. She may be delicate with her emotions and body, but she will eventually find that she is as capable as any dragon at burning those who would think less of her.
• Princess Lyanna Stark (Born 266 at Winterfell and died 283 at the Tower of Joy) – ‘The She-Wolf of Winterfell’ was a fiery girl who wanted nothing more than to escape from the plans laid out for her. Some say that she was a great love of the King. Others say he only wanted her to complete a prophecy, as Shaena was said not to be able to have more children. Either way, she and Rhaegar ran away and started The Rebellion. Although further bloodshed was stopped at the Trident, thousands of lives were still lost and uprooted because of her. Most blame her and her son for The Rebellion.
  • • She was a rougher beauty than that of the king's sister-wife. her shorter, dark hair framing a pale face marked by soft freckles and balanced features seems out of place with the eitherial beauties of House Targaryen. She had the typical grey eyes of House Stark, which shone with mischief and an honorable fury. Her high cheekbones and a gently defined jaw lend her face structure and a more regal beauty worthy of a lady as highborn as Lyanna was. Her figure was lean and athletic yet undeniably feminine, with a toned build that softens into a defined waist, fuller hips, and a modest bust, which told all that she was a woman grown. Lyanna Stark was stubborn, blunt, and headstrong as the lands she came from. The king misses her dearly, as do her two surviving brothers.
  • Prince Jacaerys Targaryen (Born 283 at the Tower of Joy) – A sullen boy who bears the brunt of the blame for The Rebellion. He shares a special bond with his younger sister and his aunt, Daenerys. Since the age of ten, he was fostered in the North with his mother’s family. There he had warmth and love and rumors say he even a relationship with his cousin, Sansa Stark [but these are most like spread from his enemies and those that just don’t like him]. Word has not reached him, but he is now betrothed to Margaery Tyrell, to secure an alliance to curb further rebellions, and his other cousin, Myrcella Targaryen, to bring unity to his family. Whispers follow him that he is merely a bastard [but these are again most like tales spread by those that don’t like his high spot in the line of succession].
    • He is also a friend of misfits and bastards and common folk. Rumor has it there is strife in the House of the Dragon, and he is the only one of his siblings to bring alliances to secure his brother’s reign. He wants little to no power and just wants to help his brother and live at Winterfell. He enjoys women, but not to the extent of his brother.
    • Dark-haired like his northern mother, with dark purple eyes of his father. His eyes, almost almond-shaped, bear the look of knowing too much of the falsehoods of the world. His dark hair was disheveled as only a few could truly tame it properly, like his cousin or his younger sister. He is taller than his older brother with a toned, more fit body, as he regularly trains. He had the long face of his mother, but the sharp and beautiful features of his father. His mouth is usually flat with thought as he broods as much as his father, though his younger sister and his cousins can bring out a true, brilliant smile out from him.
• Prince Daeron Targaryen (Born 267 at King’s Landing) – He is ‘The Rogue Prince come again’. He was married to Cersei Lannister to secure the support of the Lannisters during Rhaegar’s Rebellion. Currently Hand of the King, but at one time, he was the heir. Chosen by King Aerys when Rhaegar rebelled for a brief moment, he has had a desire to once again hold such a prestigious position. He has a love of women, and rumor has it he has even lain with the wife of his brother, Prince Jaehaerys.
  • • He is ambitious but currently loyal to his family for now. He has little love for his nephews but knows his place, for now. He has long chafed under his elder brother’s shadow and has done all he can to make his own name, but he still is loyal to Rhaegar so long as the king and his mother still live.
    • Daeron appears striking and composed, his short white hair framing a sharply defined face marked by high cheekbones and a firm jaw. His deep purple eyes hold a steady, unyielding gaze, cool and assessing beneath straight brows. There is little softness in his expression, only a controlled calm when things are going his way. Broad through the shoulders and solid in build, he carries himself with effortless authority, posture straight and unbending. His tall, muscular frame only reinforces the impression that the world should meet him on his terms.
• Princess Cersei Lannister (Born 266 at Casterly Rock) – Cersei married Daeron when the prince came and begged for her hand. Her father wanted her to marry Rhaegar so she could be queen, but she consented. She has control over her husband, which is why her children do not have Valyrian names. She is rumored to be a promiscuous woman and shares many women with her husband and has bedded a few men on her own. She has set up her own smaller ‘court’ and rivals Queen Shaena for power. She protested the betrothal of her only daughter to ‘the Dark Prince,’ but there isn’t anything she can do.
  • • She is beautiful, ambitious, and has the resources of her father. She desires to be more than a mere princess and to take the current queen down a few pegs. She has developed a love for her husband, though there is still something missing in their relationship, as some say she pines for the king and some mysterious love behind closed doors.
    • Cersei is a striking beauty. She is tall, golden-haired, and unmistakably confident in her own beauty. Her emerald eyes hold a cool, appraising look beneath softly arched brows, while her full lips rest in a faint, knowing curve that feels self-assured in every action she does. Her figure only reinforces the impression that she is a polished, effortless beauty. Full-figured and distinctly feminine, with a prominent bust and wide hips, she carries herself with an effortless confidence that borders on arrogance. There is a sense that she expects to be admired and resents anything less.
  • Prince Joffrey Targaryen (Born 284 at Casterly Rock) – Born the eldest of the twins, Joffrey has inherited his father's ambition, but most only say that some of Daeron’s cruelty was given to his eldest son; the rest the boy learned on his own. He abuses his younger brother, Tommen, and his younger cousin, Aenys. There are rumors that he desires his twin sister, female cousins, and his aunts for his own personal harem.
    • A strong-willed and cruel child. Joffrey desires to be king one day and despises his older male cousins and uncles. He has a gaggle of Lannister cousins in a gang to harass younger members of the court and those he just thinks he is better than. With his father being Hand of the King, many of his faults are not looked at too closely. He has a strange bond with his uncle, Viserys, which worries most of his family.
    • Joffrey looks every bit the golden heir that he knows he is: tall, fair, golden-haired, and striking in a royal way. His emerald eyes catch the light with a sharpness that gives him an easy confidence, and his curved lips give him an air of self-assured composure. His frame is slight beneath his tall height, his posture just a touch too rigid, as though he is trying to appear stronger than he is, as he is trying to make up for his lithe form, which lacks the muscle his cousins, father, and uncle have.
  • Princess Myrcella Targaryen (Born 284 at Casterly Rock) – A famed beauty, she is the twin of her elder brother but is nothing like him. She is a delight to be around and is neither pleased nor annoyed with marrying her cousin, and is just relieved to not marry her twin brother. She is good on a horse and can shoot a bow, which has annoyed her mother and brother but amuses her father.
    • She is kind, sweet, and learned. She loves her family, and everyone has nothing but good thoughts about her. Her ambitions are to live a simple life, be a good lady, be a good wife, build a good and healthy household, and to get as far away from Joffrey as she can.
    • She is the only one of her siblings to have full Targaryen features. She appears effortlessly lovely. She has platinum hair falling in soft waves, pale skin touched with warmth, and striking eyes that are lighter than her father's deep purple, which seem both bright and calm at once. Her nose is straight and modest like her mother's, and she has similar full lips to her mother Cersei. She carries a naturally shapely figure, her curves pronounced yet balanced. Her bosom is full, matched by a gently defined waist and good hips, which attract so many who she does not want the attention of.
  • Prince Tommen Targaryen (Born 290 at King’s Landing) – A sweet boy who most think is simple. He loves his cats and does everything to avoid his elder brother. He is a squire for his uncle, Ser Jaime Lannister, who is very kind to the boy.
    • He loves his family and hates the fighting that is growing between them. Being almost ten, he only desires to be a knight.
    • Tommen is a quiet, fair-haired boy, still caught between childhood softness and the beginnings of something more grown. He has the deep purple eyes of his father Daeron, though they are filled with wonder and curiosity. His facial features are gentle and slightly rounded, his pale skin touched with a natural flush, and his light blonde hair falling loosely around a face that seems almost too open for the world he is a part of. For his body, he is still slight, though beginning to stretch upward in that uneven way children do. The remnants of his earlier softness linger, mainly around his stomach, but even that is fading, replaced slowly by the leaner lines of someone growing taller than he is used to.
• Prince Aegon Targaryen (Born 271 at King’s Landing) – Called ‘The Elder’. The youngest of the Targaryen princes to see combat during the Rebellion, at eleven name days. He was one of two people who protested the treatment of Rickard and Brandon Stark, but was given a relatively kind punishment from the mad king. He was pushed down the Iron Throne when trying to confront his father and was burned on the pyre of Rickard Stark. The burns healed, but the scars from the broken swords did not. He hates his father and will fight anyone who says a singular good word about him. He is married to Arianne Martell with one son. He serves as his brother’s Master of War.
  • • A bitter prince who is fiercely loyal to his elder brother. He has earned a reputation for bloodlust and cruelty. Desires to have a second son, to honor the late Grand Maester Arnold, the only other person to protest against the mad king. He also desires to remove King Aerys from the history books.
    • He is a tall, broad-shouldered man with light, pale gold curls and striking lilac eyes that seem almost too sharp for the rest of his face. His features are undeniably handsome, though marked with scars on the left side of his face and the absence of part of an ear, lending him an ugly, roughness that contrasts with his otherwise noble appearance. He also has scars running down his back and left side as well. He is tall but hunches over trying to hide his appearance. His gaze is heavy, thoughtful, edged with something bitter but not cruel. He looks like a man who has been judged too quickly and too often. He bears the weight of his family's drama on his back.
• Princess Arianne Martell (Born 276 at Sunspear) – A beautiful, but lustful woman who is seemingly devoted to her husband. Rumors are that she strays from the marriage bed, even joining Prince Daeron a few times [Though this is most likely false given who Daeron's wife is]. She was betrothed to Prince Aegon one year before the Rhaegar’s Rebellion and wed right after the Greyjoy Rebellion, though they weren’t bedded for a few years. This alliance was a saving grace for the Targaryens.
  • • She schemes to ensure her birthright is secured and is part of the Queen’s court with her aunt, Elia Hightower. She fears being disinherited by one of her brothers, so she will do anything to gain the support of anyone on the Iron Throne.
    • She has long, dark, thick hair falling around a softly beautiful face, warm, olive skin catching the light, and large and dark, framed by softly curved brows eyes that seem both inviting and observant. Her nose is straight and delicately formed with full, soft lips which always have some lewd comment just eager to be said. She is notably curvaceous despite her relatively short, slight height. Her figure is full and shapely, her proportions drawing immediate attention as they are impossible to ignore, and she loves to flaunt her body. A generous bosom and wide, rounded hips, and large rear draw many eyes to her, which she uses to bring fun and joy to herself.
  • Prince Aenys Targaryen (Born 296 at Sunspear) – So far, he is the only child of Prince Aegon and Princess Arianne. He is the youngest son of House Targaryen, smart for his age, and has inherited his mother's Dornish looks and his father's lilac eyes. He is the second in line to the Kingdom of Dorne and too young to have any ambitions or real dreams.
• Prince Jaehaerys Targaryen (Born 274 at King’s Landing) – A bookish and kind man. Jaehaerys is mostly forgotten about by most of the realm. He was kept close to his father during The Rebellion and was even told by the mad king that he was his favorite son. He has fond memories of his father and is the only one to say a kind word about him.
  • • He is a bit weak and can’t control his wanton wife. He is loyal to Prince Daeron, though rumors say this is because of his wife’s whispering. He only has resentment for his elder nephew, Crown Prince Aegon, who had been caught multiple times with Jaehaerys’ wife. He desires to be left alone and to have no attention on him. He also has a knack for defending the Mad King, which has earned him no allies.
    • He appears pale and somewhat delicate, his hair a muted gold with hints of silver beneath the light falling loosely around a face that feels both refined and faintly unfocused. His eyes, pale blue though described as something rarer, are striking not for any sort of ambition, challenge, suspicion, or desire but for their absence of all of it. His brows are light and gently arched, rarely in a strong expression. His lips are thin, and his nose is long and straight. His body is neither imposing nor frail, but somewhere uncertain in between the two. There is a slight heaviness to him, particularly around his middle and shoulders, though it is not enough to obscure the remnants of the strength of his youth. He is often detached and aloof on many things, and one might think not a lot is going on behind his eyes.
• Princess Walda Frey (Born 280 at the Twins) – Considered the fairest of the Freys, she was betrothed to Prince Jaehaerys after Rhaegar’s Rebellion to give House Targaryen more support in the Riverlands and to be a hindrance to the North should they rebel once again. She is a wanton woman and is said to have slept with many in King’s Landing. Whether they be guards, stableboys, or princes. Almost all of these are rumors, except for Crown Prince Aegon, who was caught twice with his aunt by marriage by his uncle, who did nothing about it but stare at them and leave the room. She is also rumored to be the lover of Prince Daeron and Theon Greyjoy [but none have proven that].
  • • She is the dominant one in the marriage and has Jaehaerys as her puppet. Lustful and wanton, she has sex nearly every day. Most of these days she is not with her husband. She desires nothing more than to have pleasure all day, every day.
    • Her beauty is the kind that feels deliberate, almost practiced, with long blonde hair falling in soft waves, and light blue, slightly elongated eyes stand out most, clear and focused on her next toy to have in bed. Her skin is smooth and luminous, carrying a warm tone. Her brows are well-defined, arched with precision rather than natural randomness, while her nose is straight and refined. Her lips are full and well practiced with smiling, talking, and other more devious things. She is undeniably curvaceous, her proportions exaggerated in a way that draws attention, which she can't get enough of.   • Princess Vaella Targaryen (Born 299 at King’s Landing) – She remarkably looks like her uncle, Daeron, with deep purple eyes and white hair. She is rumored to be a bastard, whether it is Daeron's or Aegon's. Most assume the girl is not Jaehaerys'. With her being just a babe, many don’t know how she will turn out.

• Prince Viserys Targaryen (Born 276 at King’s Landing) – An ill-tempered and angrily envious man. He isn’t nearly as bad as his father, but most fear that he is the mad king come again. Thankfully, he has no real power or allies. He spends most of his days with whores and servant girls. He is decent with a sword, and when sober and in a good mood, he is good company, according to some. Rumors are that his marriage is being saved to help stop the next rebellion.
  • • His mood shifts like the wind. He desires his younger sister, who spurns him. He is jealous and vain. He wants power and possibly the throne, though he has a strange bond with his nephew, Joffrey.
    • His skin is notably pale, carrying a faint translucence that makes him seem almost bloodless at times. His eyes are striking, pale to the point of seeming unnatural, with a faint lilac hue that catches the light in a way that feels cold. His silver-blonde hair falls loosely around a long, narrow face. His brows are thin, as are his lips, which are usually tight with indignation and fury. His jaw is defined but not particularly strong, but he is still undeniably handsome, as many ladies are attracted to him when they see him, but turn away after spending a moment with him. His frame is tall but slight, lacking any real strength in build, his body more narrow than broad. He is full of tension, ready to burst at any victim he wishes.
• Princess Daenerys Targaryen (Born 284 at Dragonstone) – A beautiful young woman who is frequently told that she is ‘The Realm’s Delight’. She does care for the smallfolk and frequently attends orphanages and donates a lot to help the masses. She is trying to better their lives as much as she can. She spurns the attention of her brother, Viserys, nephew, Joffrey, and Theon Greyjoy while trying to gain the attention of her nephew, Jacaerys, or someone else worthy of her love and attention.
  • • She is pampered by her older siblings and is a bit spoiled, though this starts to turn around when she discovers dangerous secrets. She desires to give the smallfolk better lives and to make sure her family isn’t torn apart. She also wishes to help her family in some way and live a nice life, deserving of a princess.
    • Her face is small and delicately shaped, with a gentle taper from her cheekbones to a narrow, softly pointed chin. Her skin is pale and smooth, carrying a faint, natural blush across her cheeks. Her kind eyes are large and luminous, their violet hue lending them a divine charm shared by all Valyrians. Her brows are soft and lightly arched, and her lips are full but not overly so. Her nose is small and neat, unobtrusive in a way that allows her eyes to remain the focal point of her face. Her hair falls in long, soft, flowing strands of silver-gold, catching light in a way that makes it almost glow. She is petite in height, the shortest among her family. Her upper frame is slight, her shoulders narrow, and her chest modest and small in comparison to the busty ladies in her family. Yet below, her form curves more generously than any of those in her family: her hips wider, her rear more rounded and perky, her legs perfect. She is kind, and many clamber for her hand.

House Stark

• Lord Eddard Stark (Born 263 at Winterfell) – Called ‘Ned’ by almost everyone, he is the quiet wolf of the North. An honorable man who only broke it once during the Tourney at Harrenhal to Ashara Dayne, whom he hoped to marry. Fostered by Jon Arryn with Robert Baratheon, he rose in rebellion against the Targaryens when Rhaegar ran away with his sister, the Mad King killed his brother and father, and then there was a call for his head. He joined sides after Rhaegar explained the truth and offered justice. He brokered peace with Stannis and collected his sister’s body. He stays in the North with a few wolves, alone in the south.
  • He is loyal to his nephew, and so long as Jacaerys is allowed to be in the North, Ned causes no trouble. He wants every member of House Stark home and well. He is haunted by ghosts of his past, some of whom are still alive.
  • His grey eyes are steady and observant, giving him a thoughtful, almost guarded expression. His features are strong without being striking. His brows are straight and moderately thick, and his nose is strong and slightly prominent. His jaw is framed by a closely trimmed beard, and his deep brown hair, though styled back in a controlled manner, suggests a longer length when left unbound. His build is solid. He is not the tallest of men nor the strongest, but there is strength in the way he carries himself.
• Catelyn Stark, nee Tully (Born 265 at Riverrun) – The respected Lady of Winterfell. It took years to gain the trust of the Northerners, but she managed. She is a second mother to Prince Jacaerys. She does her best to control her family, but even she can’t control everything. She resents Ashara Dayne, but is glad that Alys Snow isn’t at Winterfell.
  • She wants her daughter to marry Jacaerys. She wants her sons to marry Southerners as well, but would accept only some of them. She wants to live a peaceful life with her family safe and well.
  • Her skin is fair, with eyes that are a deep blue, steady, and thoughtful. Her hair is one of her most noticeable features: long, thick, and a rich auburn color. Her brows are neatly shaped, her nose is straight and refined, and her lips are soft, full, and expressive. Her figure is full and undeniably feminine. Her shoulders slope gently, leading into a fuller bust. Her waist curves inward before widening again at the hips. She looks like the mother of five, which she is: beautiful and irresistible.
• Robb Stark (Born 283 at Riverrun) – He is the heir to the North and one of the great bachelors of the realm. He is very handsome, and he has inherited his mother’s looks. Good with a sword and lance. Most think he will make a fine military commander.
  • He is fiercely loyal to his cousin, whom he considers to be like a brother. He just wants his family to be happy and to win some glory. He is torn between two ladies, the love her feels for his father’s ward and the love he feels for his friend and betrothed.
  • He has a stocky, steady figure with thick auburn hair falling just past his ears and deep blue eyes. His brow is straight and subtly defined, lending to many expressions a seriousness like his father's. His nose is straight, his jaw firm and strong, just like his father's, and his cheekbones are present but not as pronounced as those of his sister or mother. He is always kind and loyal to friends and family, though he longs for some sort of adventure.
• Sansa Stark (Born late 284 at Winterfell) – She is the great beauty of the North, and many boys want her hand. She has inherited her mother’s looks but not temperament. She is seen as more prudish to outsiders, but she is very much a wolf and can have fun. It is rumored that she is the lover of her cousin, Jacaerys, and they both hope to marry one day.
  • She is smart and fiercely loyal to her cousin. She desires to marry him and to have his children. She also wishes to experience the South and to leave the North.
  • Her eyes are a deep, clear blue and wide-eyed with naivety. She often looks at the prettiest person in the room or just has eyes for her handsome cousin. She has thick auburn hair spilling in soft waves past her shoulders, as she is obsessed with having her hair be perfect, and it shines from her constant brushing. Her features are finely shaped and are mostly from her mother, with nearly the same fine, high cheekbones. Her brows are softly defined, her nose is straight and balanced, near-perfect, and her lips are full and naturally flushed, often in a pretty smile or waiting to say some sort of courtesy. Her figure carries that same sense of natural abundance of beauty and perfection as her face. She is tall, with her posture often held with careful correctness and courtesy. Her build is full and distinctly feminine, with a generous bosom and wide hips. She is a near twin to her mother when she was younger.
• Arya Stark (Born 289 at Winterfell) – She is a she-wolf in every way one can be. Fierce and independent, many say she is Lyanna come again. She looks the most like a Stark than any of her siblings. She loves her cousin and thinks of him as another brother. She is good on a horse, with a bow, and has even been trained with a sword.
  • She is smart and of a different beauty than her sister. She doesn’t want to be a true lady and just wants adventure. She wishes to stay with her family and thinks marrying some lord for an alliance is the dumbest thing.
  • Arya is restless, and this shows in her looks. Her hair falls long and brown, and it hangs in looser strands, often slightly tangled. Her features are fine as is expected because of her birth, but her brows are untamed and expressive, and her skin is fair but carries the cuts and bruises of her active She has a gently defined jaw and the usually grey eyes of House Stark, like her father, uncle, and aunt. Her build is slim and lithe, but it is slowly changing as she nears womanhood with growing hips and bosom that will surely have her looking similar to her deceased aunt.
• Bran Stark (Born 290 at Winterfell) –He looks like his mother and wants to serve as a Kingsguard. He is currently a squire for Ser Oswell Whent, so long as the knight is at Winterfell. He is getting better at a sword and bow, but is always in the shadow of his older brother and even his sister.
  • He is a boy who dreams of being a knight and going on some adventure in the south. He thinks life is fun without any real danger.
  • He is a slender, fair youth with thick auburn hair, deep, clear blue eyes, and a delightful boyish charm about him. His brow is smooth and untroubled, his nose is straight and proportionate, and his jawline is only beginning to take shape, lacking the definition that will come with time. His build is slight, with narrow shoulders and a thin frame, waiting for his training as a squire and a few more years to build and develop into a form similar to his brother and father.
• Rickon Stark (Born 295 at Winterfell) – A wild child who is only starting to calm down. He looks like his mother and tries to be like his elder brothers. Still a boy, he has a lot of time to grow up.

• Alys Snow (Born early 283 at Starfall) – She is the natural-born daughter of Eddard Stark and Ashara Dayne. She was conceived at the Tourney of Harrenhal and was born during the early stages of the Rebellion. She lives in King’s Landing with her mother and is part of the Queen’s court. She is a good friend of Princess Visenya, Myrcella, and Daenerys. She is rumored to sleep around with a few boys.
  • She wants to meet her half-siblings and father. She also has a secret desire to be with her cousin, which none but her know about. She wishes to be able to travel the realm and escape the terrible people of the capital and live a comfortable and quiet life.
  • Her wide eyes are what captivate the most with a deep, haunting violet color that sticks with people after seeing her, just like her mother. Her black hair falls long and thick, cascading in soft waves that frame her shoulders and collarbone. Her brows are gently arched, giving her a soft expression. Her lips are full but not exaggeratedly so, with them usually in a soft smile. Her skin is fair and smooth, with a faint natural warmth. Her frame is relatively short but elegantly proportioned, with her bust pronounced, her hips wide, and a callipygian shape to her rear, along with a slenderness to her arms and waist.

• Benjen Stark (Born 267 at Winterfell) – The youngest of the wolves, he went to the Tourney of Harrenhal. He knew of his sister’s dislike of Robert and even helped her become the Knight of the Laughing Tree. He even helped his sister run away. After The Rebellion, he is taken hostage.
  • He is given a place of honor and is the guardian of his nephew and niece. He will do anything for his family. He desires to go back home and stay there for the rest of his days.
  • He is a man of understated presence: brown-haired, grey-eyed, with a rugged, northern face. His nose is straight but worn and damaged over the years. His lips tended toward restraint and pressed together, much like his brother. He has a defined jaw that carries a faint shadow of stubble along its edge. He stands at a respectable height and carries an average build that leans slightly toward being lean rather than broad. Much like his brother, he is loyal to those who know him best and seemingly distant and cold to those who are not close to him.

House Baratheon

• Commander Robert Baratheon (Born 262 at Storm’s end) – ‘The Furious Storm’. Was the Lord of Storm’s End after his father died. He fostered with Jon Arryn and rebelled when the mad king called for his head and Rhaegar ran off with his betrothed. He won many battles, losing only one to Randyll Tarly. When Rhaegar offered peace for bent knees or exile, Robert and nearly five thousand men and lesser lordlings chose exile. He formed a mercenary company with these exiled men and slowly grew the group to include those from Essos and other exiles. The Storm’s Fury is a company that rivals that of the Golden Company in size, professionalism, and success. He married a ‘Lyseni’ whore named Lysara, who shared his hatred for House Targaryen in 284, a few moons after his exile. He has three legitimate children with numerous bastards who have grown to join his mercenary company.
  • • He hungers to return to Westeros and kill Rhaegar, stealing the King’s sisters and daughters and making them his whores. He is angry with those that stayed behind, but still yearns to be with his friends and family once again.
  • Gendry Baratheon (Born 284 at Lys) – Born late in 284 and is the eldest son of Robert Baratheon who looks like an exact younger version of his father. He was raised to be a soldier and to hate Targaryens, though the later lessons haven’t stuck nearly as well. He was with his father in the Dothraki Sea when his mother died giving birth to his youngest sister.
    • He wants to see the homeland of his father and to win glory but doesn’t want to do so dishonorably. He dislikes the Targaryens but doesn’t share his father’s or mother’s hatred for them, as he hasn’t met one.
  • Tess Baratheon (Born 285 at Tyrosh) – She has the beauty of her ‘Lyseni’ mother who instilled her own hatred of the Targaryens into her daughter. She, however, doesn’t share in her mother's former profession and is still a maid, though many have tried to bed her. She was by her mother’s side as she died birthing her sister.
    • Tall and beautiful with her mother’s looks but father’s coloring. Many captains and Essosi nobles lusting after her shapely and buxom body. She has used this lust to help her father while keeping her maidenhood intact for some alliance.
    • She wants to see Storm’s End and the Red Keep. She also wants to see the Targaryens humbled for what they did to her mother’s family and to her father. She has a fury to match her father’s.
  • Lyanna Baratheon (Born 299 at Volantis) – ‘The Thrice Named’. Her mother died birthing her late into the year. She was initially named, Calla, by her dying mother to honor Lysara’s own grandmother. Her named then changed to Lysara by her older sister to honor their mother only to be changed once more by her father to honor the true love within his heart.

• Lord Stannis Baratheon (Born 264 at Storm’s End) – Is currently the Lord of Storm’s End and is married to Janna Tyrell. After his brother fled and the rebel cause was lost he surrendered, but was raised to take his brother’s place. He quickly married and had four children who he is a good father to.
  • • A stubborn and sometimes unfriendly man, he has few friends except for his brother, Renly, and his onion knight, Ser Davos. He loves his pretty wife and his dutiful children. He has become a bit less stubborn thanks to his children and loving wife. He desires to both see his brother Robert and to keep him away. He wants nothing more than to hold the Stormlands and get justice for those that died for his family.
• Janna Baratheon, nee Tyrell (Born 265 at Highgarden) – She was originally betrothed to Jon Fossoway, but Queen Shaena requested [some say demanded] that they change the marriage to Stannis, right after The Rebellion. This was to tie the rebels with loyalists and this way the Tyrells could repay some of the damage they did to Stannis [and punish them for not trying to help Rhaegar in the Riverlands]. Janna at first didn’t like Stannis but after their first child was born they grew to like each other. By their fourth there was love. She is a good lady of Storm’s End and has the respect of most of the castle, though some Stormlords have vowed to never like her.
  • • She is jolly and loves gossip and brings a light to Storm’s End that is greatly needed. She wishes to just live in the Stormlands and gain the acceptance of her husband’s lords. She also wants good matches for her children that will make them happy.
    • Attractive and buxom with the chestnut chair and brown eyes of House Tyrell, many know that Stannis could’ve done a lot worse.
  • Shireen Baratheon (Born 284 at Storm’s End) – Called ‘The Quiet Storm’ for her bookish and somber nature, but strong fury when provoked. She has inherited the looks of her father and the body of her mother. She is the jewel of the Stormlands and many are wanting her hand.
    • Some say she is simple but they are wrong. She is quite smart, kind, and bookish and has befriended Ser Davos Seaworth and his sons. She only wants to do right by her family.
    • She has a head of neat black hair and brilliant blue eyes. She thankfully has most of her looks from her mother, though she does have her father’s jaw. Tall and busty, most lust after her body which she doesn’t like as she wants someone to look past that and see her.
  • Steffon Baratheon (Born 285 at Storm’s End) – He is his father’s heir and has been raised as such. He is dutiful as his father but has learned charm from his uncle. The rumors about his prowess would make him a combination of all three Baratheon brothers.
    • He had eyes for his cousin, Margaery, though she is already betrothed. Rumors say he suffers from heartache and some rage because of it he dislikes the sons of Rhaegar. He can be as stubborn as his father, though he is far better with people.
    • He is all Baratheon and looks like a twin of his father, minus the balding head and has more robust build. Tall and strong, many say he could be as good as his uncle which some fear.
  • Ellyn Baratheon (Born 287 at Storm’s End) – She is everything her elder sister is not. She is charming and talkative and playful. She rides horses well and even is know to have sparred in the training yards. She is the favorite of Renly and her mother. She loves gossip and travel.
    • She wants to have fun and that is all. She is still a child in many aspects so her ambitions aren’t grand. She just wants to be a Queen of Love and Beauty at least once in her life.
    • In a few years she will cause troubles for her father as she grows into her womanly body and boys and men lust after her. She has the height of her father and his coloring and is more shapely than her elder cousin Margaery.
  • Robert Baratheon (Born 296 at Storm’s End) – He is the newest of the Baratheon family and the most controversial. In the only bit of defiance and rebellion Stannis did, he named his son after his elder brother. This caused quite a scandal at court and throughout the realm. Many called for Stannis to answer for this, though nothing came of it. Robert is growing to be a strong boy and already has been trying to use swords.

• Renly Baratheon (Born 277 at Storm’s end) – He is the kind Baratheon brother and makes up for the charisma that his brother Stannis lacks. He helps keep guests entertained and travels the Stormlands to treat with various lords. He makes frequent visits to the capital and Highgarden. He is rumored to be lovers with several men, one being Ser Loras Tyrell [though these seem to be attempts to slander the Baratheon].
  • • He yearns for his eldest brothers return, or at the very least the downfall of Rhaegar. He doesn’t have an opinion on Rhaegar’s children and mostly is fine if they just live. He does have strong opinions on the other sons of House Targaryen, who he clashes with in the capital.

House Martell

• Prince Doran Martell (Born 247 at Sunspear) – The current Prince of Dorne. He is crippled by gout and is seen as weak by many because of this. He is at odds with his siblings and with his children, the latter he doesn’t know what to do with and the former just not following what he wants.
  • • He, however, still has a strong mind and a great ambition, wishing to have his blood sit the throne. Many think he favors his second born over his daughter and will break Dornish tradition and have Quentyn inherit over his elder sister.
  • Princess Arianne Martell – See House Targaryen above.
  • Prince Quentyn Martell (Born 281 at Sunspear) – Friends with the Yronwoods and seen as his father’s preferred heir, Quentyn still remains humble. He recently has been betrothed to Lord Anders Yronwood’s daughter, Lady Gwyneth Yronwood, securing House Martell for the next generation.
    • He is at odds with his sister, though he loves her very much. He isn’t ambitious but seems to be pushed that way by friends.
  • Prince Trystane Martell (Born 287 at Sunspear) – The youngest of Prince Doran’s children. He is smart and graceful, lacking a thorny pride that infects most princes. He has taken a liking to training with a spear, which his famed uncle is helping him hone.
    • A kind boy, he loves his siblings and his cousins. He seems to favor his sister over his brother, but who knows when the time comes. He only wishes for peace within his strained family.
• Princess Elia Hightower, nee Martell (Born 257 at Sunspear) – The second eldest of the Martell siblings. She is a gentle beauty to most of the realm that was married off to Baelor Hightower, who is an advisor for King Rhaegar. She has two children with him and is happy with her life. She is frequently visited by her younger brother and his children. She currently is part of Queen Shaena’s court and is one of the queen’s most trusted confidents and her greatest friend.
  • • She greatly supports her niece’s claim to Sunspear and has sent her elder brother multiple birds saying such. She desires to stop any bloodshed, either for the Iron Throne or the High Seat of Dorne.
• Prince Oberyn Martell (Born 258 at Sunspear) – The youngest and wildest of the Martell siblings. The ‘Red Viper’ is notorious for his womanizing and for his lethality. He is the guardian of his family and will kill any he needs to in order to protect them. He frequents court often and has harmed a few that gossiped about the rumors that surround his niece.
  • • He dislikes Prince Daeron and Prince Jaehaerys, but also dislikes both Prince Aegons. He is a wildcard and potent ally for the one that gets him on their side. He supports his niece but is loyal to his brother.

House Greyjoy

• Balon Greyjoy (Born 255 at Pyke) – The eldest son of Quellon Greyjoy. He urged his father to participate in Rhaegar’s Rebellion, though as a neutral party which raided both combatants until a clear side was near victory. After much pressure his father led a force of fifty ships to the Shield Islands, where he died the day that Rhaegar met with the rebels at the trident. He blamed Rhaegar for his father’s death and rose up as a king in 289 hoping to gain the support of Eddard Stark and Stannis Baratheon, who also disliked the Targaryen king. He raided the North when they declined his offer. He lost his eldest two sons with his daughter given Winterfell and his youngest son being taken to King’s Landing.
  • • He is hoping that the leniency that many rebels are now being given will be shown to him so he can take advantage of it. He wants to free the Iron Islands and he desires to make the women of House Targaryen his salt wives and make the sons of the dragon his thralls.
• Alannys Greyjoy, nee Harlaw (Born 256 at Harlaw) – She married Balon the Lord Reaper of Pyke and gave him four children. She was supported the Ironborn entering Rhaegar’s Rebellion and supported her husband though she wished they just chose a side instead of raiding both and praying for their forgiveness. She disliked Balon rising up and resents her husband for getting her eldest children killed and her youngest taken to opposite sides of the realm.
  • • She wants nothing more than to reunite with her youngest children before she dies, as she is slowly. She is also going mad so she may not remember her children even if she lives long enough to see Asha and Theon.
  • Rodrik Greyjoy (Born 270 at Pyke and Died in 289 at Seaguard) – The eldest son and heir of Balon Greyjoy. He was good friends with his cousin Harras Harlaw and was a bit of a drinker. He fought at the Shield Islands with his father during Rhaegar’s Rebellion and killed his first man there. During his father’s he was slain by Jason Mallister at Seaguard during the opening stages of the Greyjoy Rebellion.
  • Maron Greyjoy (Born 272 at Pyke and Died in 289) – The second son of Balon Greyjoy known for his perpetual lies and streaks of cruelty. He was deemed too young to fight in Rhaegar’s Rebellion, which he resented and hated his brother for being allowed to partake. He raided the northern Westerlands as his elder brother was killed at Seaguard. Maron was quickly recalled to Pyke after the disastrous Battle of Fair Isle. He led a successful skirmish against landing loyalist forces until there were too many to fight. He was killed defending Pyke as a tower fell and crushed him, right at the end of the Greyjoy Rebellion.
  • Asha Greyjoy (Born 276 at Pyke) – The third child of Balon Greyjoy. She barely remembers Rhaegar’s rebellion though she does remember the absence of her grandfather and how Pyke changed after he died. She was old enough to remember her brothers dying in her father’s failed rebellion though she doesn’t miss them. She was taken to Winterfell as a hostage as a punishment for her father and as a show of trust from Rhaegar to the North.
    • She wishes to return to Pyke and see her mother again. She doesn’t care for her father, who she blames for having been taken to Winterfell, but has a desire to prove she is Ironborn. She has become something of a sister to the Stark children, who she likes and might even love as siblings, though some say she is far closer to the Stark heir than siblings usually are, which makes her conflicted with her desire to leave Winterfell.
  • Theon Greyjoy (Born 279 at Pyke) – The last child and last son of Balon Greyjoy and his current heir. He has no memory of Rhaegar’s Rebellion and only nightmares of his brothers. He has a naïve memory of the Iron Islands and is a constant braggart when it comes to the exploits of the Ironborn. He remembers the Fall of Pyke and remembers watching Maron die on the walls. He was taken to King’s Landing as a hostage, though he became a squire for Ser Meryn and he might earn his spurs if he participates well in the tourneys to come.
    • He wants nothing more than to return to the Iron Islands and be his father’s heir. Though he does desire to bed and wed the ladies of House Targaryen, specifically Daenerys and Visenya.

House Tyrell

Lady Olenna Tyrell, nee Redwyne (Born 228 at the Arbor) – ‘The Queen of Thorns’. Born a Redwyne but she is the matriarch of House Tyrell and only those not well acquainted with the family don’t know this. She has guided them through Rhaegar’s Rebellion and thought it foolish to sit at Storm’s End and not help in the Riverlands. She was mad when her daughter was forced to marry Lord Stannis, but has come to her goodson as her daughter has. She was glad the Greyjoy Rebellion happened as it showed more of House Tyrell’s loyalties. She is at court with her granddaughter and grandson.

• • • She still leads House Tyrell from the shadows and is trying to steer it from destruction. Olenna is fearful of the growing dangers in the realm and how her family is now tied to it. She likes finally being rewarded for their loyalty but dislikes her granddaughter being betrothed to the Black Prince who caused the Rebellion and being in a polygamous marriage as well.
• Lord Mace Tyrell (Born 256 at Highgarden) – ‘The Oaf of Highgarden’ at least to his mother. He sided with House Targaryen during the Rebellion as was his duty. He besieged Storm’s End as it was simple and easy and with the least amount of danger. His pride was bruised when the Ironborn raided the Shields. He raged at the punishment of his sister marrying the man he was besieging, but was put in his place by his mother. The Greyjoy Rebellion saw him lead Tyrell forces in the invasion of the Iron Islands.
  • • He wanted his daughter to marry Aegon and wants more rewards for his loyalty. He is angry at his daughter being forced to marry the cause of the Rebellion, but is honored to finally marry into House Targaryen. It is unknown what Mace will do next so he might not support his daughter’s betrothed should House Targaryen war against itself. Or perhaps he will, no one knows for certain. He is very proud to have a son in the Kingsguard.
• Lady Alerie Tyrell, nee Hightower (Born 260 at Oldtown) – She supports her husband in everything he does. She supported him in the Rebellion and was upset when the Ironborn raided all the way to Oldtown.
  • • She is upset with her daughter set to marry a half northerner but proud to have her youngest son in the Kingsguard. She wants nothing but the best for her children.
  • Willas Tyrell (Born 273 at Highgarden) – He vaguely remembers the Rebellion being only ten. He would’ve participated in the Storming of Pyke with his father, if he wasn’t crippled accidentally by Jaehaerys Targaryen at the age of fourteen [though the blame is put onto Prince Oberyn for getting Prince Jaehaerys drunk before the tilt]. He has befriended his cousin, Shireen Baratheon as they both are quiet and bookish by nature.
    • He wants nothing more than to just stay out of the wars that are clearly coming. He things it is idiotic to blame Jacaerys or Visenya for the Rebellion and battles his father on this. He does dislike Jacaerys a bit for some rumors of him laying with whores as he wants someone better than that for his sister.
  • Garlan Tyrell (Born 275 at Highgarden) – ‘The Gallant’. A knight of great renown and skill. He did participate in the Greyjoy Rebellion as a squire but only participated in skirmishes and repelling raids. He married Leonette Fossoway in 296 in a small but respectable ceremony.
    • He doesn’t wish for glory and just wants to defend his family. He has no strong opinions on the Targaryens though he does think it foolish to blame Jacaerys or Visenya for the Rebellion. He wants nothing more than to see his family safe in the coming wars, his siblings to be happy, and to have a child of his own.
  • Leonette Tyrell, nee Fossoway (Born 278 at Cider Hall) – Daughter of the Lord of Cider Hall, she has lived a comfortable life. She is beautiful and dainty with a beautiful voice and skilled at playing the harp. She married Ser Garlan in 296 in a small ceremony which she wished was a bit bigger.
    • She wants nothing more than to have a child of her own. She is devoted to her husband and will follow his lead in anything he does.
  • Loras Tyrell (Born 282 at Highgarden) – A babe in the first Rebellion and only seven during the second, he doesn’t remember the conflicts that have shaped the current realm. A skilled knight of summer, he is vain and arrogant with a temper. Some say he prefers the company of men [Slander by those that despise House Tyrell]. His skill with a blade, his high birth, and the loyalty his family has shown to House Targaryen made him a perfect candidate Kingsguard knight.
    • He wants to protect his family while earning a place in history as a famed Kingsguard knight. He defends his sister at court and has befriended Aegon the Younger.
  • Margaery Tyrell (Born 283 at Highgarden) – She was born in the final days of the Rebellion. She remembers fearing for her brother’s safety during the Greyjoy Rebellion and was glad he had returned. She traveled the Reach many times and befriend the natural daughter of Lord Humfrey Hewett. She moved to the capital with Loras and her grandmother and Falia Flowers. to be a handmaid for the queen and a companion for the many princesses of House Targaryen. The royal family became fond of her which was why she will be betrothed to Jacaerys to bind her as a Targaryen.
    • She is beautiful with brown doe eyes that many can’t look away from. She has long chestnut hair which is always in some sort of design if it isn’t just smoothly flowing from her head. She is slender with a womanly body, though not busty as her cousins and definitely not as busty as her bastard friend though she was given a large, shapely bottom. Many at court desire her including most of the Targaryen princes.
    • She desires to be queen and to have her sons rule the realm. She will do anything to accomplish this goal, including using her friend Falia to possibly seduce [Slanders by rebel lords] or poison the womb of her fellow wife [More Slanders]. She would prefer to be in a monogamous marriage but will make the best of her situation so long as she can gain some power for herself and her family.
• Lady Mina Redwyne, nee Tyrell (Born 260 at Highgarden) – Married off in times of peace to a powerful house, she was happy in her marriage. Her husband fought in both rebellions and survived which she was thankful for. Now she just stays in the Arbor and Reach as peace continues.
  • • She will do everything she can to support her Tyrell family, though she has no real power.
• Lord Paxtor Redwyne (Born 250 at the Arbor) – When he was ten, he fought in the War of the Ninepenny Kings as a squire under his father. He then fought in Rhaegar’s Rebellion though he merely blockaded Storm’s End while a few of his ships still at the Arbor fought the Ironborn when they decided to join the war. He fought in the Battle off of Fair Isle during the Greyjoy Rebellion and ferried the Rhaegar himself to Pyke. He mostly keeps his fleet strong and awaits the call for the wars that are surely coming. He has secured an alliance with House Tarly with the marriage of his daughter to Lord Randyll’s heir, Samwell.
  • • He is loyal to his liege lord and has a desire to gain one more victory within his life. He loves his wife and his children and will do his best for them.
  • Ser Horas Redwyne (Born 280 at the Arbor) – A page during the Greyjoy Rebellion, he didn’t see much combat though he was with his father during the Battle of off Fair Isle. He was knighted in 298 after a victory at a tourney. He dislikes his sister’s betrothed, thinking him too fat and cowardly.
    • He wants more glory for himself and his family and eagerly awaits the coming wars.
  • Ser Hobber Redwyne (Born 280 at the Arbor) – He was also a page during the Greyjoy Rebellion and therefore didn’t see much combat. He didn’t take place in the Battle off of Fair Isle and watched it from afar with a few reserve ships. He was knighted in 298, near six moons after his brother after he gained victory in a different tourney.
    • He wants to prove himself as many call him craven for not being part of the battle his father and brother were in. He would help stoke the flames of war if he could.
  • Desmera Redwyne (Born 283 at the Arbor) – She remembers her brothers and father going to war but not much else. She has lived in comfort at the Arbor, though she regularly corresponds with her cousins Margaery and Shireen and has become friends with Princess Visenya the few times she went to court. She is currently a handmaiden of Princess Rhaenys and is betrothed to Samwell Tarly.
    • She has the orange hair and green eyes of her father with the beauty of her mother. She is covered in freckles which some tease her about and some, like her betrothed, love. She has an ample bosom with a shapely bottom. Many question why she is wasted on the likes of Samwell Tarly.
    • She wants to live a comfortable life and marry her betrothed in a grand ceremony. She likes her Sam and in general gets along with everyone. She prays that war is avoided and to participate in the bedding of her cousin Margaery.

House Tully

• Lord Hoster Tully (Born 240 at Riverrun) – An old man who has seen many wars having fought in the War of the Ninepenny Kings, Rhaegar’s Rebellion, and the Greyjoy Rebellion. He tried to marry off his children to prominent and powerful families to strengthen House Tully and succeed with his daughters [Some say he helped start the Rebellion with his burning of a letter in 282]. He is currently very ill and most likely dying, though he will try to participate in the early celebrations of the third century of Targaryen rule.
  • • He wants to gain power and prestige for his house. Once there was little he couldn’t do to achieve that but now he is ill. So he is striving to live long enough to hear about Rhaegar being defeated.
  • Lady Catelyn Stark, nee Tully – See House Stark Above
  • Lady Lysa Arryn, nee Tully (Born 266 at Riverrun) – A bitter woman who spends her time at court and in the Vale when she can’t stand court. She was forced to marry Jon Arryn to secure House Tully to the rebelling lords and bore him one son, controversially named Robert but called Robin, after multiple miscarriages. She is currently in King’s Landing with her husband as most of the royals are away for the celebrations.
    • She wants a better marriage and life but won’t get it. She is treated like a queen in the Vale and wishes that the court did so as well. She is a wildcard in which Targaryens she likes but is currently leaning toward Daeron.
  • Edmure Tully (Born 270 at Riverrun) – He was just a boy during the Rebellion and was in charge of Riverrun’s defense and that of his sisters should it come to that. He was a hostage after the Rebellion and stayed in King’s Landing for six years. He helped repel some Ironborn raids and participated in the invasion of the Iron Islands during the Greyjoy rebellion which earned him leave to visit Riverrun for prolonged periods of time. He is a decent knight and is participating in every tourney that is part of the celebrations.
    • He wants glory and renown as his father and uncle had gained. He is a voice of the Riverlands and rebel lords in King’s Landing and speaks with Lord Arryn about any issues that might need addressing. He has no ill will against House Targaryen as they had treated him kindly.
•  Ser Brynden Tully (Born 245 at Riverrun) – ‘Blackfish’. A knight of great renown, participating in all the wars his brother had. He went to King’s Landing after the Rebellion to guard his nephew and niece and is currently the Master at Arms for the Red Keep. He is still unmarried [Rumors meant to slander the family of rebels say he enjoys the company of men]
  • • He is blunt and very honest and has gotten on the bad side of Prince Daeron multiple times. He wants his family to be safe. He doesn’t want another war, but he will fight for House Tully when it comes.

Kingsguard

• Ser Arthur Dayne – ‘The Sword of the Morning’ and Lord Commander of the Kingsguard. He replaced Ser Gerold after the White Bull’s death in 285. The finest knight in the realm, he almost never leaves the side of Rhaegar. He has a soft spot for Jacaerys and will kill, and has killed, any that dare say that he is a bastard. None within Westeros would dare to make a move against the royal family as long as he is alive and able to hold a sword.
• Ser Barristan Selmy – The second best sword in the realm, only behind Ser Arthur and most agree it is because of his age. He is the guard of Queen Shaena, as he always had been. He is loyal to Rhaegar and his children and has on multiple occasions defended the honor of Visenya and Jacaerys against those that say they are to blame for the Rebellion. He also has defended the Rhaenys and Aegon against those that mean to slander them.
• Ser Oswell Whent – ‘The Black Bat’ is a good swordsman and is the guard of Prince Jacaerys. He is very protective of his charge ever since he was a babe at the Tower of Joy. He has also defended the prince’s honor against those that say he is the cause of the Rebellion or that he is a bastard. Like Arthur, he has killed a few for this. A stubborn man, he knows no loyalty than those he protects.
• Ser Jonothor Darry – A fine and loyal knight he is stubborn and sincere in everything he does. He used to be the guard of Prince Jaehaerys and Prince Aegon the Elder when they were younger and has now become the shadow or Princess Visenya. His loyalties are to the family he protects but it is never thought that he could break his vows for anything. He has been sick on and off and most fear that he may pass away soon.
• Ser Jaime Lannister – ‘The Kingslayer’ is not trusted by most courtiers or the realm and he is hated by Prince Jaehaerys, but many in the royal family see him as a savior. He has support from his sister. He also has support from Queen Shaena and the older Targaryen princes for slaying the mad king and protecting them from destruction. He was spared by the royal families house words and allowed to keep his cloak, life, and hand though he receive ten lashings and a fortnight in the black cells. He has a sweet spot for all of the princesses of House Targaryen. But no one knows his true loyalties, though rumor has it there is a strain between him and his family.
• Ser Meryn Trant – He is Cersei’s man through and through. And only was able to join the Kingsguard, replacing Ser Gerold, at the insistence of Princess Cersei and her father. He protects her children and has disdain for most other branches of the family. Besides Prince Daeron, the only prince he protects is Jaehaerys.
• Ser Loras Tyrell – A Controversial pick as most thought Richard Horpe would take old Ser Lewyn’s place. The Tyrells won the bid and so Ser Loras was able to gain a white cloak and a bitter enemy. He is still new and doesn’t have any official charges, mainly shadowing his fellow brothers until they deem him ready, something he chafes at.

Small Council

Hand of the King – Prince Daeron Targaryen – Was given the Hand-ship to placate him and to bring peace to the family. He is an able, if somewhat cruel Hand. He is biased toward former rebels and is lenient toward former loyalists and his wife’s family. He was given the position during the Greyjoy Rebellion. For bio see House Targaryen above.

Grand Maester – Brandon Hill – A bright man in his early forties, he replaced Grand Maester Arnold after the man’s death by Aerys II. Grand Maester Brandon is curious and has a link of the higher mysteries. Rumors say he is loyal to the Lannisters. Some say he is doing some secret bidding of the Citadel. Others say he is loyal to Queen Shaena. All in all, no one knows where this man stands in the current politics of the realm.

Master of Coin – Lord Petyr Baelish – A baffling pick by many. He was sponsored by Lord Jon Arryn and has proven to be quite skilled in the job. He has a network of spies nearly as large as the Lord Varys. Like the Grand Master no one knows where he stands and which side he is on.

Master of Laws – Lord Jon Arryn – To appease the rebels Lord Jon Arryn was given a place on the council and to be a voice for the rebel hostages in the city. He was able to convince King Rhaegar to release all of the hostages that wanted to leave, as part of the celebrations of three-hundred years of Targaryen rule. He is aging and is loyal to his former wards. A part of him wants to see Rhaegar taken down, but he also cares about the rest of the royal family and wishes them no harm.

Master of Ships – Lord Jon Connington – None can doubt that Jon Connington is King Rhaegar’s man. He was brought back from exile after the Mad King’s fall and served as Hand for the six year of Rhaegar’s reign, until the Iron Islanders rebelled and problems in the Targaryen family arose. He was replaced by the King’s brother and was then given the position of Master of Ships after the death of the previous holder, Lord Ardrian Celtigar, during the Greyjoy Rebellion. Hates all that oppose Rhaegar. He is married to Marla Rowan, daughter of Lord Mathis Rowan, in 298 as a reward for a loyalist house.

Master of Whisperers – Lord Varys – The spider from Essos. A eunuch that isn’t trusted by any, but all fear him and know how dangerous he is. He survived the Mad King and was pardoned by King Rhaegar. Like Grand Maester Brandon Hill and Lord Petyr Baelish, no one knows where he stands and which side he might be on in a future conflict. Or if he is on someone else's side [but these are most likely just slanders by those who dislike the eunuch].

Master of War – Prince Aegon ‘the Elder’ Targaryen – A new position that was created at the start of the Greyjoy Rebellion, and Prince Aegon quickly took the position. After the war, the position stayed so that the crown could always be ready for an attack. Prince Aegon is fine in the position and is trying to prepare for Robert’s return. Lord Commander of the Kingsguard – Ser Arthur Dayne – He gives sound advice and is trusted by all on the council. He was given the position after Ser Gerold passed and all were glad for it. For more see Kingsguard above.

Advisor – Lord Renly Baratheon – Was given this position to appease the rebel lords and to be a constant hostage for the crown. He is valued by the king and is a bright spot at court. He frequently leaves and goes to the Stormlands to assist his brother Stannis. For bio see House Baratheon.

Advisor – Ser Baelor Hightower – Given the position to reward more loyalists. He offers fine advice and is a strong supporter of Rhaegar. He is a permanent member of the council and rarely leaves the capital, unlike Lord Renly. He has two children with his wife, Elia: a son, Gwayne, and a daughter, Alicent. Both are too young to be of any consequence to anyone. He is hoping for some peace within the family, not wanting another war.
