"Hey, hey Y/N, look at me." Phil's voice filtered in through your haze of sorrow and anxiety. You had just woken up from a nightmare, body trembling as the eggs and Phil gazed in concern. After the prison escape into that stupid hotel, all of the others and yourself had passed out, mind still full of the shock that Cherry had shattered. Even after you woke up, searching for her, she hadn't been there. Broken and alone, you'd just followed Phil. He was so kind, so understanding with your pain. The house you'd built together was a quaint little thing, and it was the first time you'd laughed when Phil had called it a poke-ball. Farming with Chayenne and searching for new birds and flowers with Tallulah had almost filled that empty space in your heart where Cherry had been. Almost.
"P-Phil, it happened again." You say, voice shaking. Tears leaked out of your eyes, the droplets dampening your blanket.
"Hey, Y/N, its okay. You're here with me and Lullah and Chay. You're safe. The binary entity isn't here. You're not in Limbo anymore." he said soothingly, patting your head. He opened his arms, inviting you for a hug. You burrow into his arms, shaking and sobbing into the warmth of his chest, his damaged wings wrapping around you in a warm embrace. Chayenne and Tallulah hugged your body. It was almost embarrassing how easy the tears came, the warmth of the eggs and their caretaker surrounding you.
"Breathe, sparrow.." Phil whispered soothingly. The ambient sounds of the house began filtering into your mind again, the soft sounds of the wind outside; the rustling of the birds in the house; the sound of the fireplace crackling, the pot bubbling...
"S-sorry, Phil.." you whisper shakily, wiping the tears away from your cheeks, now feeling the wave of embarrassment wash over you.
"Don't worry, sparrow. You're okay now."
