What even is today all Baki wanted to do was pick up his little sister and go home but he didn't expect to see what he saw today after leaving the pick up area of his sister's elementary school
A giant green dragon flew in-front of them turning into a girl in a maid dress with blonde hair with pink tips "hey, Miss.Mitchiko told me to make sure you two get back home safe!" Toharu exclaims to them with a playful wink while both Baki and Hatchin looked at her like she was crazy "now hop on my back and I'll take you two home!" she exclaims again but Baki and Hatchin ignored her and continued walk which made her scream "hey! Don't ignore me!"
"So Toharu what's for dinner?" Baki asked her as they walked by her "oh yeah about that..."
Baki, Hatchin, and Jack just stare at what was on the in-front of them "I grilled my tail" Toharu just out right says calmly "I'm not eating that..." Hatchin says "I'm with Hatchin on this one..." Baki agreed with her "hell even I wouldn't eat that..." Jack acknowledged all still giving the grilled tail a blank weirded out expression "but it's good with rice though" Toharu told them confused "it's not supposed to be good with anything Toharu!!!" They all three shouted at her not noticing Pickle sniffing the grilled tail
Not even a second after a single one sniff Pickle started devouring Toharu's grilled this caused her to hug him from behind and said "I knew my Pickle-San would adore it!" Toharu exclaims with him not noticing her hugging him Baki then thinks "I wonder if it'll grow back?" she then complained to all three of them still hugging Pickle "you three really shouldn't be fussy with food and be more like my precious Pickle-San" Baki watches as her tail grew back making helping his question "I even went through the trouble of removing the poison!" Toharu shouted holding onto Pickle tight "it's poisonous!?!?!?" the three screamed back at her they hear the door open while hearing a woman shout "I'm back from the store!"
Mitchiko a beautiful Brazilian that Baki's and Jack's dad Yujiro married and to their surprise Mitchiko is actually a good parent
"The hell is Pickle eating?" She asked them putting the bags down on the kitchen counter "Toharu's tail" they all three say in unison making her look both confused and disgusted "welcome back Miss.Mitchiko-San!" Toharu exclaimed letting go of Pickle to greet Mitchiko "well I guess it's a good thing I went to the store then" she groans handing Toharu the bag "here there's a recipe and ingredients in there don't fuck it up" Mitchiko told her going to the living to flip through channels on tv "wow...his really going at it with that tail..." Hatchin said watching as Pickle ate the last few bite on Toharu's tail "Hatchin don't watch him eat..." Baki sighed
Once Yujiro came back to the apartment Mitchiko was glaring at him the whole time Toharu made dinner this made energy in the house awkward until dinner started to which Yujiro asked "Mitchiko why are you looking at me like that?" she the answers with "maybe because that dragon tried to feed the kids and Jack her cooked tail" she then added "gladly Pickle ate it" she pointed at Pickle while Toharu fed him "oh come on it wouldn't be that bad for them to eat a bit of dragon might even make them stronger" Yujiro interjects with joking sounding tone with Mitchiko still giving him a glare
later in the night Baki was reading in his bed when Hatchin came in his room with a pillow and a blanket "hey Baki, can I sleep in here tonight?" the ten year old asked him "sure, I guess dad and Mitchiko made up?" He says Hatchin nodded yes while making her place on the floor "hey Baki?" Hatchin asked him "yeah?" he looks at her confused "I think I want to sign up at my friend's grandpa's dojo do you think Mitchiko and Yujiro would let me?" she asked him "as long as you don't get in a strangers van you're fine to do whatever you want" Baki reassured her laying down in his bed to go to sleep "but I'll take you there to check it though just make sure it isn't some scam" he told her as they laid down to go to bed
-the next day-
"You want to go to a dojo?" Mitchiko said surprised while drinking coffee this morning before getting anything done "yeah Tomo's grandpa runs it" Hatchin exclaimed as she got her backpack ready for school "I promised to take her after school to make sure it's not a scam" Baki tells her waiting for Hatchin to get finished "which kid is that again?" Yujiro asked watching tv not really caring "Tomo is the one you thought was a boy for a month" Hatchin tells him making him say back "oh yeah him, just don't get kidnapped or whatever a dad would say" right when they were about to leave for school Toharu stopped them and said "wait! I made you two lunch!" handing them both a bento this made them check to make sure there isn't any dragon tail in it this time "you didn't hide any dragon tail in this did you?" Baki asked her check the bentos "of course not! since Pickle-San is the only one who appreciates it I'm only going to make that for him for now on!" Toharu yells pouting the two just sigh a sigh of relief
At Seika High-school
after dropping Hatchin off at her grade school he walked to his high school which isn't far from his high school besides he usually goes a bit later then most of the teens here
"What do you mean it's over!" a whiny voice of a girl shouts he looks by the entrance gate to see a blonde hair boy who more slender and boney then him but not all boys his age workout and train like him the yellow haired girl he recognized as Zenitsu Agatsuma they been in the same schools together since elementary school and she was a crybaby in kindergarten even now she still is
"Look I'm sorry but I don't think this relationship is going work out" the guy tries to console her "is it cause I wasn't ready yet!" she cries while he awkwardly patted her shoulder "no it's not that I just felt like you need someone better" he tells her before walking "wahhh!!!" Zenitsu cries loudly falling on her knees he sighs and walks up to her
"That's the eighth one this year" he teased her to try to lighten up the mood but who was he kidding it's Zenitsu his talking to "shut up you giant ape!" she angrily huffed while a girl from her friend group walked up "sorry about her Baki-San" her friend, Tanjiro, apologized for her unlike Zenitsu she was actually sweet and generous, Tanjiro then handed Zenitsu her handkerchief out to wipe off her tears "well I'm just saying the guy is a man whore you really shouldn't have gotten your hopes up" Baki told she pouted and ran off to her class he groaned while Tanjiro nervously laughed "well...see you in class Baki-San" Tanjiro waved goodbye to him with her well known warm smile walking off to get to class "yeah see you later" he waved back
In Class
He went in his classroom late like he usually did this caused his new teacher Akane Minagawa to scold him "Hanma-San your old teacher might have let you get away with being tardy but if you keep coming in late I'll have to keep you after school" but he just yawned in response and walks to his desk to fall asleep
he seats next to Zenitsu who's glare he could feel burning into his head
After class Minagawa-sensei tapped on his head to wake him up "wake up Hanma-San it's time to wake up it's lunch time" she says in a way that irked him in someway but he ignored her and left the classroom
"What did I do wrong?!" He hears Zenitsu crying again hugging Tanjiro tightly who just smiles awkwardly "how do you make a relationship last Tanjiro-Chan!!!" she whined with Tanjiro tilting her head to the side confused "what do you mean?" "What I mean is you're dating the most brainless boy in the whole school and still haven't broken it off yet!!!" Zenitsu yells clearly frustrated pointing her finger at Inosuke who's face was basically in his lunch "god all her yapping is going to make me deaf" Baki complained in his head and walked away from the group
After school ended he was walking Hatchin to the dojo like he said he would once there they were greeted by Tomo, Tomo's dad, and Tomo's grandfather "Hatchi! You came!" Tomo exclaimed hugging the tiny blonde girl "woah! Is this your brother!" she says examining Baki with stars in her eyes "he looks like one of those fighters in those fighting games!" Tomo mentioned before getting hit on the head by her grandfather's cane "ow!! Grandpa what was that for!" Tomo shouts at the tiny older man "excuse my pine cones for brains granddaughter welcome I'm Jigoro Kuwajima and this is my idiotic son-in-law Gorou Agatsuma" the old men introduced themselves while the tall buff man with funny facial awkwardly chuckled "Agatsuma...why does that sound familiar" Baki thought when he heard a all too familiar whiney voice "I GOT DUMPED!" he turned around to see Zenitsu crying running into the dojo "huh?" she looks up at him blinking three times "gahh!! Why is he here!" Zenitsu shouts loudly "his Hatchi's older brother sis" Tomo told Zenitsu revealing that Zenitsu is Tomo's older sister to him "wait you two know each other?" Tomo asked them both "we've been in the same school together since elementary school" he told her in a clam voice compared to her older sister who whined "his been tormenting me since I've started school!" but Baki just rolled his eyes and laughed "oh come on what's wrong with a bit of teasing" but she just pouted and crossed her arms "anyway... come on Hatchi! I'll show you around" Tomo exclaimed dragging Hatchin by her arm to show her around the dojo "welp I should be going... later crybaby" Baki says in playful teasing way causing Zenitsu to shout "just leave ape!"
____(Shimizu Apartment)____
a new person moved into apartment 203 so there was a lot of moving trucks outside the apartment complex helping move some stuff in as Baki walked to his apartment he sees two new faces a pretty woman with shoulder length hair and a little boy with big eyes that stared into his soul who was holding boxes of tissues but he didn't say anything and just went up the stairs
(Inside 203)
Mima payed the movers and walked inside to see Kotaro counting the tissue boxes they had brought at the store "are you almost ready to give the tissues to our neighbors Kotaro?" She asked crouching down to join him "yes aunt Mima, one for me, one for you and the others for the neighbors" he told her he stands up walking over to grab something of the coffee table and shows her a label that her and his name on it "I also made this for our door" he told her in a monotone voice, she smiles taken the label saying "it's perfect I'll go grab some tape and put it on the door right now" so she gets up to grab some tape
she quickly tapped on the door label Kotaro watching him going to the apartment room next door knocking a man with blonde hair with grey sweatpants and sweater on and by the looks of it a tiny bit of stubble as well Kotaro pushes the box of tissues up towards his face "I'm Satou, me and my aunt Mima just moved here in apartment 203 please help us for now on" Kotaro greeted him all by himself while stands there giving a small wave to him "it's just a normal gift hope you take it" Kotaro gives the man the tissue "...ah...you're so polite..." the man says taking the tissues "yeah, he was just really persistent on getting a gift for all the neighbors" Mima chuckled nervously cause of the awkwardness of the greeting "...203 huh that's the one second to the corner" "yes" "yeah" they just stand there awkwardly just staring at each other "so is it just you two or..." "yes it's only me and Kotaro" Mima nodded as the silence continued to become louder the sound of heavy footsteps came up the stairs walking down the second floor of the apartment they turn around to see a extremely tall man had to be over or at least six feet and was very muscular as well it was like a bear was standing in-front of them he had dark hair in a crew cut and had a tiny scar on his nose bridge he was wearing a black shirt and beat up looking jean with of course shoes he was carrying one small grocery bag that had the usual essentials
the two adults sweat profusely looking at him scared of the man's appearance but Kotaro walks up to him handing him a tissue box "good day sir, my name is Satou Kotaro my aunt is the beautiful lady over there her name is Mima" Kotaro greets him with the tissue box still in his hand gesturing for him to take it "I know his a kid...but how is he not absolutely petrified looking at this guy!" sweatpants wearing man thought to himself worried for the young boy
the tall man takes the tissue gift and says with a deep banging voice "Guts...which apartment do you two live in?..." the man now formally known as Guts asked him while examining the tissues "203 sir Guts" the young boy answers his question "huh...I live in 204" Guts tells him putting the tissue box in his grocery bag "so we're next door neighbors, do you live alone?" Kotaro asked him a question as well this made Mima intervene saying "Satou don't as-" "I live by myself...thank you for the gift" Guts says giving him a small thank you bow before going his apartment his aunt said the man looks shocked without words “well…see you around…?” Mima says waiting for him to says his name “oh Shin Karino” he says before the duo left to finish meeting the other neighbors
