She's Poison but Sweet

Summary:

A year into their marriage, Caitlyn and Vi Kiramman seem to have it all.
They've moved into the suburbs, and Caitlyn has worked hard to maintain their image as the perfect couple to their snooty and judgmental neighbors. Caitlyn's even thought about adopting a baby so they could start a family of their own, a topic which seems to bring some conflict. Vi was reluctant to bring a baby into the mix, given Caitlyn's history. Regardless, Caitlyn is determined to have her way.
But trouble arises when a new neighbor joins the fold, a mysterious and beautiful woman by the name of Seraphine Evans who seems to quickly latch onto Vi - much to Caitlyn's dismay. Caitlyn has a feeling that Seraphine is dangerous, although she can't quite prove it. And with Caitlyn's mental state slowly beginning to spiral, she'll do everything she can to keep her perfect marriage intact.
Even if it means kill and stain her perfect little neighborhood with blood.

Chapter Text

Caitlyn Kiramman really does have it all.

She had finally gotten what she had always wanted: her happily ever after with the woman of her dreams. Vi Lane was now Vi Kiramman and the ring on her finger would always be a reminder of the choice she had made.

Several months after they decided to tie the knot, Caitlyn and Vi had moved from their apartment and chose to live in the Piltovan suburbs. Well, it was really Caitlyn's decision. She wanted a new home, one that'd be perfect to raise a family in. And the beautiful neighborhood they had chosen was perfect for it.

It was a place where everyone knew everyone, where reputation and status truly mattered. So obviously, Caitlyn had a lot of work to do. Her family's reputation wasn't the best and Vi was deemed a nobody from Zaun. Obviously, Caitlyn saw her as so much more. But Caitlyn would have to make sure everyone else saw her that way too.

And although it took a lot of parties, socializing, and a lot of self control not to stab her new friends directly in the eye, Caitlyn successfully managed to do just that.

Now a year into their marriage, they were one of the most popular couples in their neighborhood.

The only thing missing - for Caitlyn - was a child. She wanted to have a child with Vi so they could truly be a family. She wanted a little girl to dote on and raise. And she thought Vi would want the same thing. But the moment Caitlyn proposed the idea over dinner (a home cooked dinner, since Caitlyn had started taking lessons), Vi didn't give her the response she expected.

"A baby? Are you sure a baby is what we need right now?"

Caitlyn frowns, pausing as she had been in the process of cutting her food. Subconsciously, she grips onto her knife a little tighter. "Of course I'm sure. I think it'd be a wonderful idea. Everything's going so well and we have this big house, it's time for a new addition. We could adopt a newborn and give it such a good life here. She'd never have to ask for anything.”

"She?” Vi repeats.

"I was hoping for a girl. When I was younger, I'd take care of my baby doll and dress her up. Now that I'm older, I could have a baby girl of my own to do those things and so much more,” Caitlyn explained with a smile. In Caitlyn’s mind, it was already happening.

"I think we need more time,” Vi replies, shattering Caitlyn’s dreams once more.

"More time? What do you mean more time?” Caitlyn questioned.

Caitlyn had already waited a year after all. That was more than long enough for her.

Vi sighs. "Nothing."

She was worried about starting another fight between her and Caitlyn. It had been a little while since the two of them had fought and Vi wanted to keep the peace. When things were good, they were great. And when they were terrible, it could really be terrible.

"Darling, I need you to speak your mind. If you have something to say, you should say it,” Caitlyn encouraged.

Vi wasn’t sure why Caitlyn said that when every time Vi did speak her mind and go against Caitlyn, she always got upset. It confused the hell out of Vi.

"I don't think either of us should be parents,” Vi admitted.

"What?” Caitlyn’s frown only deepens.

"I'm not saying you don't have good intentions but... do you seriously think either of us are capable of being good parents? I raised Jinx all my life and look at how good that turned out. She hates me. And you…,” Vi trails off, feeling reluctant to finish her sentence.

She was sure it’d definitely cause a fight.

"What about me?” Caitlyn prompted. She wasn’t going to drop it until Vi said it right then and there.

"When things don't go your way, people die,” Vi responded.

"Do you think I'd harm our child?” Caitlyn questioned, her voice raising slightly.

"Not intentionally,” Vi explained.

"Vi, I've been so good. I haven't done anything like that in a long time,” Caitlyn argued.

And it was true. It had been a long time since Caitlyn had stained her hands with blood. Her job was to be a perfect wife and a good neighbor. Besides, there had been no reason for Caitlyn to kill anyone. Her marriage to Vi had been perfect, minus their disagreements.

"I know but... I still want to be sure. You never know what might happen and besides, I don’t think you’re ready for something like that. There’s a huge difference between fantasizing about being a mother and actually being one,” Vi argued.

"Do you seriously think that I don’t know that?” Caitlyn scoffs. “Is it the fact that you don't think I'm ready or the fact that you're not ready?”

"Both,” Vi admits.

Caitlyn swallows hard before she glances down at her food, deciding to finish cutting into the meat which now bled onto the plate before taking a bite. Vi ultimately eats as well and the two bathe in an uncomfortable silence for the rest of the dinner. This typically happened whenever Caitlyn didn't get what she wanted.

For Vi, it was a lot better than what Caitlyn used to do which was grow homicidal. Progress had been made there.

Vi does the dishes, partly so she wouldn't have to deal with an angry Caitlyn. And when she finishes, she goes upstairs and prepares for bed. Pictures of the two are scattered about the house, ranging from their honeymoon photos to the portrait of the two Caitlyn had commissioned. By all appearances, it all seemed so perfect.

By the time Vi finished brushing her teeth, she realized that she still hadn't heard from Caitlyn. She hadn't seen her either. But then again, Vi didn't think anything of it. The pinkette wanders inside of their bedroom, only to find that Caitlyn was waiting for her on the bed. She had changed into a silk nightgown, the one Vi loved so much. Instantly, Vi knew what was coming next.

"I'm sorry, Vi,” Caitlyn replies as she grabs a hold of Vi’s hands, pulling her down onto the bed so they could sit together.

"Cait...,” the pinkette trails off with a sigh.

"No, I'm really sorry. I was being harsh and I wasn't thinking of your feelings. You were right. Maybe we aren't ready to have a baby right now. I guess I just wanted it so badly but I shouldn’t have been so pushy about it,” Caitlyn persisted. “You know how much I hate it when we fight. I like it much better when we’re able to work together. We’re powerful that way.”

“You were right though,” Vi replied as Caitlyn rested her hands on her wife’s shoulders.

“About what?” Caitlyn questioned.

“I am scared. I’m so terrified about being a mom. I’m scared that I’ll mess up like I did with Jinx,” Vi answered with a shake of her head.

That was the one thing Vi feared the most. It wasn’t as though she knew what being a mother was like. Her parents had died when she was young and she had never been in a stable home. Vi wasn’t sure she had what it took to be a mother. And Vi would never be able to live with herself if she failed her own child in the process.

Caitlyn cups Vi’s face in her hands. “Oh, Vi. You would be an excellent mother. I just know you would be. Jinx is one thing. You can start over. You can have a second chance. And the best part is that you wouldn’t be alone. I’ll be right there with you.”

“I love you, Caitlyn,” Vi instantly responds.

She loved hearing Caitlyn’s soft and loving words. It was also a drug within itself. Having Caitlyn dote on her and love her and make her feel so special was a drug. No matter how terrible Caitlyn could be, she knew exactly how to pull Vi back in.

“I love you too, Vi. I love you so much. Can you ever forgive me?” Caitlyn asks as she continues to stroke Vi’s cheek.

“I already do,” Vi assured her.

“You’re so sweet. You’re so sweet and kind and loving. I do not deserve you whatsoever. But I’m so lucky that I have you,” Caitlyn responds, trailing kisses along Vi’s neck. Vi’s eyes flutter shut and she tilts her head to the side, allowing Caitlyn more access to the inked skin. “And I’ll never let you go.”

Caitlyn makes sure to help Vi out of her shirt before she lays Vi down on their bed, kissing her on the lips now. Vi kissed her back as her hands traveled underneath Caitlyn’s night gown, touching all over the bluenette’s body. Caitlyn touches Vi as well, her hands going up and down the woman’s sides as well as touching her breasts. Vi moans into Caitlyn’s mouth before she grabs the end of her wife’s dress, pulling it up and taking it off altogether. Caitlyn hadn’t worn anything underneath, already knowing exactly what she had planned on happening after she apologized.

It was what happened every time they fought. They’d fight, make up, and then have sex.

Vi finished getting undressed after that, even putting on the hexstrap before sitting up and pulling Caitlyn onto her lap. Caitlyn instantly lowered herself onto Vi’s cock, moaning softly as she took every inch inside of her. And then she rolled her hips forward, holding her wife close the entire time. Vi took the time to kiss and suck on Caitlyn’s breasts while Caitlyn rode her cock, making the bluenette loudly moan.

Caitlyn moved even faster, digging her nails into the soft skin of Vi’s shoulders. But the pain made Vi keep going, bucking her hips upward several times and only making Caitlyn go even crazier. Vi moans into the crook of Caitlyn’s neck as she feels her walls tighten around her cock, sending jolts of pleasure throughout her body.

“Oh my God,” Caitlyn moans, tilting her head back. “Vi, just like that! Vi!”

“Say my name again,” Vi ordered.

“Vi!” Caitlyn repeats.

Vi kisses Caitlyn passionately and the two women make out while Vi holds onto her hips, guiding Caitlyn as she keeps rolling her hips. Vi digs her fingertips into Caitlyn’s skin and the two of them hold onto each other, riding out their high in each other’s arms until they couldn’t anymore.

Caitlyn came first and then Vi followed right after her, the two of them kissing each other again as the waves of their orgasms washed over them. And then Vi laid them both down onto the bed before she entered inside of Caitlyn again, pinning her wrists down onto the bed.

Caitlyn moaned and writhed underneath her, wrapping her legs around Vi’s waist to make sure she stayed in place. Vi’s thrusts were rough and passionate and intense, the two women moaning from the pleasure. Still reeling from their previous orgasm, they were high off of both lust and love.

“I love you so much,” Caitlyn says when they pull apart, meeting each other’s gaze while Vi keeps thrusting inside of her.

“I love you too,” Vi responded.

“I’m so lucky that you’re all mine and I’m never letting you go,” Caitlyn repeats her words from before. But then she says something new. “I’d kill anyone that comes in between us. I’d kill for you.”

Vi pauses, feeling a shiver go down her spine despite how hot it had been. Caitlyn cups Vi’s face in her hands again before she kisses her. Vi kisses her back, resuming her deep strokes. She kept going until the both of them reached their climax again, releasing together at the same time. Caitlyn tilts her head back, crying out as she came all over Vi’s cock and spilled in between her legs. Vi also came, coating her thighs with her own sticky release, and she collapsed on top of Caitlyn when she finished.

Caitlyn kissed Vi’s forehead and held onto her, stroking her hair to comfort her. Vi wrapped her arms around Caitlyn, her wife’s words still echoing throughout her head.
