Chapter Text
How could they let this happen? They hadn't even tried to save him. He didn't know how long it had been. Months? Years? Decades? Centuries? All he knew was that they must've given up on helping him. They must've figured out just how monstrous he really was. But to leave him trapped here? He never thought they would do that. They must not be real friends if they let him sit in here and rot.
MK was sitting and staring at the rock wall of the cave he was stuck in. Someone had sealed him inside, leaving him trapped in here for who knows how long. If he had to be stuck in here with his thoughts any longer, he was going to go insane, if he hadn't already. But MK had tried wvery method of escape he could think of and he was no closer to getting out than he was before. Not only was he slowly going insane, MK had somehow gotten stuck in his monkey form, but at this point, he didn't even care. All he wanted was to get out of this damn cave.
The rage built up inside him, transforming into energy that crackled around him. MK stood up and punched at the wall over and over again until a massive hole formed- wait. A hole? Had he really done it?
His disbelief turned into the desire for revenge. His friends had left him in that cave for who knows how long, and they were going to pay for it.

Wukong was relaxing on a tree branch watching the clouds float by. He refused to think about anything, already knowing that the guilt would overwhelm him. Sleep was just about to overtake him when an explosion sounded. It was faint, but he heard it. Wukong sat up and looked around, tail flicking anxiously. That's when he saw the dust rising from a cave a few miles away. The very same cave that held MK who was probably pissed at everything and everyone. He knew what it felt like- being stuck with nothing but your thoughts for company. And if MK had broken out on his own, the decades of bottled up rage was going to cause him to do things Wukong would never have thought he would do.
Wukong realized that MK's emotions were going to be vented in the worst ways possible with nobody there to stop him. So Wukong hopped on his cloud and took off in that direction, hoping that the kid was still there.
When Wukong got there, he saw a gaping hole in the side with pieces of rubber around the outside of it. He went over to it and looked inside. The walls had been clawed up, no doubt from MK's pent up rage. Dried blood was splattered over the floor, suggesting things Wukong didn't want to think about right now. But nobody was there, besides Wukong himself. Which meant that the kid was already gone and Wukong was going to have to find him before someone got hurt.
