Chapter Text
Billions and billions of years ago- before the Earth itself existed- there was only a simple, sacred place known as Heaven- or Haven. The Bible explains what took place to make Earthlife a possibility… But how did the demonic spells and powers arise from nothing to being an eternal threat to the plan of The Father?
How did Adam and Lillith’s relationship end and why? How did she then become barren and known as The Mother of All Demons ? What was the battle of Heaven like? What happened? How were angels created and why? How did some of those mighty angels fall from grace and humility to the depths of the demonic sea of power? Why did they fall?
Let’s start , shall we?
The Father in Heaven lost his parents and his many siblings to the cosmos, as did his wife: The Mother. They wished to expand their existence and teach their knowledge and experience to others. They wanted not to be lonely and to have a family bigger than the ones they came from.
After thousands and thousands of years, they built a family of billions, expanding the Heavens to the highest mountain peak. They saw all of their children as gifts to them and the life around them. They were kind, patient, and nurturing parents to their great many posterity.
Their children were intelligent, kind, and well beyond innocent. They had all grown so much, down to the youngest of their lineage. It was at this time in the eternities that the children all desired one thing and one thing alone: the chance to be just like their Father and Mother. After careful consideration, the Heavenly Parents decided that their little ones were ready for The Great Experience .
The Father presented to his people a plan: The Plan of Salvation . His children would go down to a small planet he and another would create and gain a similar experience to his own from his youth: a life. He would gift each of them a physical body- like his own- and wipe their memories of the haven with a gentle veil.
Upon arriving, they would be raised by parents, a smaller family of their own, and experience the joys, sorrows, loves, and heartaches of life- just like he did.
“This life will be more than a test.” He said. “It will be thy experience. Through these years- that will feel like thousands- thou shalt know of a great many things. I could speak all these long eras to you of mine, but the only true way thou wilt know is through thine own learning.”
Eventually, their physical bodies would die, but then they would reemerge in the Kingdom of Heaven and be glorified and gifted with something far greater than knowledge: experience and wisdom. He said that no child need be left behind- no matter murderer or priest, friend or foe of God- every last child will have the unique opportunity to choose where they would rather be: with or without God.
All the Heavenly children cheered for joy as they all pondered what life would truly be like.
The Father warned them that their lives would be far from perfect and that many mistakes would be made along the way. He warned them of the Natural Man. The Natural Man comes from bodily and Earthly temptations, such as: drinking, smoking, mindless sex, money, pride, inducing pain, drugs, etc… Things that have the great potential to cause relief for a short time, but bring only pain when the bigger picture is revealed. The Natural Man would not be an actual person. It is what the temptations of the human mind and body are referred to as.
After this warning, he said that in order for his children to feel understood and loved during their trials and joys, one of his own would have to go down unto the Earth, lead a life of example and perfection to prove it can be done, then he would bear the cup of all pain and burden, relieving it off the shoulders of the lonely world. If this man of physical means could survive all the pain any would feel, then they would make it through any event or trial that would come their way.
This act would also allow for his children to know that when they ask for forgiveness, they will be asking of it by a merciful being who has done no wrong unto them and loves them eternally- forgiving any transgression of the truly repentant.
The act would be called the Atonement of The Savior.
The Father asked if there was any who would be willing to perform this righteous act to save and protect the children from themselves and any other who may seek to do them harm.
One of The Father’s eldest came forward: Jesus. He told The Father, with honest sincerity that he would go down to the Earth, be an example, and perform this Atonement .
Jesus had been alive for thousands of years. His love for his spiritual brothers and sisters was stronger than any. He watched them learn and grow in their spiritual bodies, reach for the furthest heights, and love everything within their reach. If anyone had to be the one to save them, he felt he should be the one- he loved them, he was the eldest, and he wanted to help them find their way, no matter the cost.
Another stood forward. Another one of The Father’s eldest children. Lucifer. He spoke with only a hunger none could place. He then, turned to his fellows and- in front of them all, including The Father- proposed a new, alternative means that would bring about the “same end”.
He said that if his siblings chose him to lead and be the savior , he would force all to make righteous choices and follow the commandments of God. No one would have a choice- if this be so, all would return to the arms of The Lord, thy God.
No Atonement . No suffering. No trials. No pain. No agency… No choice- but to believe.
Nearly a third of The Children of God nodded in agreement to this pointless plan. But The Father. The Father, in a voice louder than the boom of thunder, held up his hand, saying one word, and one word only:
“No.”
The Father wanted all his children to come home. But by choice- with experience and wisdom; having stared down the barrels of the worst things life could offer and rising up from the ashes of the barrel as his children turned it to dusty ashes. This life of learning would not be stripped away by a boy who only wished to mask his true and never-ceasing desire for power and his cowardice of pain and anguish- knowing he would fall to The Natural Man and be forever waiting outside Heaven’s gates with nothing but a name…
Though this fear of his son’s was a rational one, The Father would never abandon any of his children or lock them out of his Heavens if they would be no danger to the rest of his children, he would hate to make such a choice, but he would not sacrifice all of these beautiful innocents for an evil- even if that evil was of his own creation. His son was wrong. His plan was pointless and useless…
An argument followed The Father’s word. Lucifer and many others made outbursts of rage and confusion. He spoke rationally to them- kindly even. He loved them, but with every word and statement from them and Lucifer, he could feel them slipping farther and farther away from him- from his grasp- Like feeling the feel of water in cupped hands…
Eventually, the argument begun to get out of hand. Words of venom shot from Lucifer’s mouth towards his parents with no shame emanating from him whatsoever. But now, a side of his son was showing. A side he’d never seen in all his eons of existence; but had heard of on several occasions. He stood up from his place on his throne as his mind was wrought with decisions.
All around Lucifer, a cloud of blackness- black as the cosmos- flowed about his robes. A power such as The Father had never seen erupted all around- bending everyone to their knees. The only ones that remained were the Heavenly Parents: still whiter and purer than any snow.
Lucifer’s robes were suddenly pitch black, his hair followed suit- eyes yellow with the tiniest slits as pupils. His tall, mean stature was forbidding, full of a power unknown to The Father who gaped at one of his eldest children in horrified astonishment.
The man suddenly turned to his siblings, all kneeling at his bare, porcelain-white feet. He raised his arms in welcome and told them that the hour was nigh that they now choose.
The Father? Or Lucifer?
Many of his children arose from their feet willingly- watching this man of dark power with wonder and awe. One-third of The Father’s children rose- breaking a piece of their Father’s heart as they did so.
Diana…
Ethro…
Tenzon…
Riley…
Fro…
Azazel…
Gillian…
Tyla…
Asmodeus…
Quenton…
So many… Billions of them.
The Father’s heart ached for them. Longed for them- to hold them. To beg them not to go… But he knew that he had no choice but to let them go- this was their life, not his. He had to let them choose which path they would follow, he could not, would not force any of them…
But he watched in heartbreak as Lucifer lifted one powdery black hand towards an empty space. A spinning, portal-like vortex blew into existence mere feet from his boy’s hand. He stood aside as the vortex continued to spin. With a hand, he gestured towards the darkness- beckoning all who stood to walk forth.
Before the first entered into the blackness, The Father spoke- using any one last hope to keep his children- almost grasping at straws to beg them to stay…
“If you leave Heaven, I will have no choice but to lock these gates from you. You all get to make thy choices, but if this be it, thou will not be welcomed into the midst of the Heavens. I will not let thy ways and ideals spread to the rest of my children.”
Though he gave the warning, all who stood left, one by one- taking a piece of The Father’s heart with them. All the billions vanished, without giving their Father one. Single. Look. The last to leave the realm of the Heavens was Lucifer. He paused just inches from the spinning darkness, looking up at his Heavenly Parents with a loathing that caused tears to form in both their eyes as they gazed down at one of their eldest sons.
“This. Means. War.” He muttered venomously, voice echoing throughout the Kingdom of Heaven.
With one last contemptuous look at his Father whose heart he just shattered, he walked through, disappearing into an unknown place where The Father’s love, kindness, and light could not follow.

Both sides- light and dark- prepared for war. It was a painful time for those left in the Heavens…
Their brother, their companion- gone… He had betrayed every last one of them with his poisonous ways; and took so many other brothers and sisters with him. Those left behind mourned for their lost loved ones. The Heavenly Parents wept with them as a cool chill of sorrow and uncertainty weaved its way throughout their long-standing home.
Apart from the parents, one spiritual brother was in more pain than near any other. Michael. Michael was closer to Lucifer than even their own parents were. Their connection was by more than mere spiritual means. They were considered to be one. Whatever happened to one, happened to the other. Closer than any, they spent near every moment in each other’s company.
When Lucifer made his betrayal clear, Michael was shocked and devastated. Lucifer had been acting strangely for centuries, but Michael merely thought he was only getting restless staying in Haven for so long… It made Michael sick to think of all his dear brother may be doing- the darkness that surrounded him had been very great.
He was angry. He was sad… He was destroyed…
As all they mourned and prepared themselves for war, Michael volunteered to lead his siblings into the battle for peace. As mere spirits, killing each other would be possible, but not warranted. They all knew they would not have the heart to kill those they were raised with. But they would fight for their freedom. No matter the cost.

Lucifer and his fellows drifted on a dark cloud just out of view of Haven. He had been entranced by the darkness the cosmos offered for eons now. After staring off for so long, he began using his spiritual capabilities to form his desires… and the cosmos obliged.
He’d been using this dark power for hundreds of years now. He was glad he finally got the chance to use it. Especially using these powers to fuel his hatred for the old fool that called himself his Father . These powers would now be used for evil- these powers were superior and far greater to that of a simple God .
With his love - Diana- by his eternal side, they began ruling and preparing for the war which was to come.
Lucifer and Diana focused on other things as Azazel poised their army for the battle of power and wits. Lucifer began outwardly expanding his magical prowess. He wanted to be capable of killing his so-called Father . In order to accomplish such a feat, he would need some sort of physical body… So he started experimenting in the shadows…
In his experimentation, he created a spellbook. The Black Book. This book contained powerful dark magic that can only be done by those with the darkest desires.
One such spell was one that provided a physical body. But this body was impure, filthy, disgusting, and ugly. But Lucifer adored it. He gave the same gift to his love and his favorite Lieutenants. Another page out of this book of dark secrets was one to create a living soul with a physical body. His love Diana convinced him to use this power to create three individuals that could become powerful allies and heirs.
This precious book of powerful, dark magical spells was destroyed and cast into the void after the war in heaven was won by the souls and children of God…
