It was a sunny afternoon, the kokotiam gang are all hanging out at tok aba's cafe. They were sent back to earth and was given a week off from their sequence of missions, the gang was glad to hear this of course, they have been jumping from planet to planet, fighting evil aliens and retrieving stolen power speras for a whole week straight. Finally they can take a rest and have some time with their love ones.
"Here's your ice choco Gopal" the boy said placing the cup Infront of his friend "ooh thanks boboiboy" his chubby friend said before sipping on the cold drink "aiyyaa boboiboy we literally just got home you should take a break" the glasses girl frowned, waving her hands on the air while her elbows rested on the table.
"Huh uh, you've drained all of you energy earlier when we fought adu'du and probe. You'll end up over doing yourself again" the pink hijabi trailed. "Shhh" the boy shushed them shifting his eyes on one of the tables to check if anyone had heard them, specifically his grandad. When no one seemed to catch their attention he whispered back "don't worry about me, I know if my body can keep going or not, we rarely get back home and tok could really use some help on his shop. Look how much customers he has"
the scene shifted to the lively chattering customers sipping their drinks and eating their sweets. "he's not in his best shape anymore and all I can do for him is to help at the shop, plus I've got ochobot with me" he reassured giving them a warm smile, wiping the stains on the table.
Before ying could argue a sound of a motorcycle engine was heard from a far. They all shifted their attention towards the vehicle, as it drove towards them. Slowly stopping to a halt. It was captain papa and his daughter pipi zola.
The man and the young one hopped off their vehicle "hello my students of justice! How is your week off going?" The man greeted posing comically.
"Oh hey captain papa, were doing great" the boy replied "were just-" he paused feeling his head stir "we're just what!" The man questioned impatiently curious of what he was about to say.
Boboiboy pinched the bridge of his nose shutting both of his eyes "are you ok boboiboy?" Yaya asked concerned. "Ah what did I tell you, your lack of rest is finally catching up with you" ying reprimanded, her tone sounding like an angry mother yet concerned for her son's well being.
"Hmph You tell him ying, he's always like that, hard headed as ever, then later it's going to be our problem" fang retorts, his head resting on his fist while munching on his favourite snack, ap red carrot donut.
Boboiboy just gave him an annoyed look, "what??? You're working on your day off??" The man blurted "very good very good my young disciple, you are a very hardworking man, still out to help his tok aba instead of taking advantage of the time his boss gave him to relax, well done!" He continued patting the boy's back that had caused his cap to teeter precariously.
"Err what brings you here anyways, sir?" He asked fixing his cap, "ah well the justice's daughter asked me to bring her here, she wanted to see you" captain papa said pointing his finger at the said boy "me?" He asked confused "Are you deaf? Did you hear me say him? Her? Yes you! No one else but you" the man said pointing towards his friends and then to him.
"Why did you want to see boboiboy, pipi?" Yaya asked the girl softly, "how can I help you pipi" boboiboy said removing his apron, pacing towards the girl and kneeling Infront of her.
The kid smiled and said "I wanna Mary boboiboy!" Jumping on him for a hug
"What!?"—"WHAT?!?" Everyone said simultaneously
"hey, what's all the commotion here?" Tok aba joined, hearing the noises coming from the group
Fang and Gopal shared a look before holding their obvious laugh.
"Uhh...W-why would you want to marry me?" The boy asked not knowing what to say "huhuhu~oh my sweet daughter of justice you're too young for marriage"
The two held back another chuckle before Gopal voiced "dey boboiboy, don't you think she's too young for you" the two continued to laugh, while boboiboy looked at them deadpan "this two" Ochobot rolled his eyes.
"Oii boi! What did you do to my precious daughter huh!? That she suddenly wants to marry you!" The man exclaimed pointing at the boy
"Huh? What? I didn't do anything"
The little girl looked up "I wanna marry you, because You're super cool, and kind like the prince in the book I read!"
Everyone shared a look
"The prince, was very kind to the princess, he gave her flowers and saved her from falling from the tower, like what boboiboy did!" the kid continued
"Like boboiboy? Dey pipi, when did boboiboy gave you flowers and saved you from a falling tower?" Gopal questioned
Pipi let go's from her embrace and held a thinking pose "Umm when adu'du tried to attack and capture ochobot here" everyone looked puzzled until yaya spoke "oh! That was 2 weeks ago, oh I remember now, when adu'du and probe attacked, pipi held onto ochobot's hand as he was dragged away by the two, but her hand slipped and fell, luckily boboiboy taufan caught her on time, I think that's what she meant"
"How about the flowers?" Ochobot added ying thought for a moment before snapping her fingers "oh I know the same day, me and boboiboy went to the school garden, some kids destroyed several plants there so we volunteered to help out, boboiboy duri restored the damaged plants and even added some new flowers. We realised that we may have overdone the work, ending with extra flowers so we decided to just bring it with us and give it to other people in our neighborhood, on our way, we bumped into mama zila and pipi. Boboiboy handed her one of the bouquets of flowers we had, before continuing our way back"
"Is that so" Said Tok aba
The young one once again clinged on the boy, this time he was standing up the kid clinged onto his leg like her life depended on it "boboiboy your just like the prince! You're my prince! So let's get married"
Tok aba chuckled and walked towards the girl "pipi, my grandson is too young for marriage"
Once again the duo, cracked hearing the phrases
"Plus why would you want to marry someone who has stinky feet" tok aba pinched his nose and winked "that's true!" Fang yelled laughing his hardest along side Gopal "no I don't" boboiboy looked at them with a frown
Pipi giggled while Ying and Yaya chuckled fully knowing tok aba's intentions in saying this "not you guys too" boboiboy piqued by their reaction.
"Ah but do you know who else is too young?" The elder raised his finger tapping it on her nose shortly after saying "you are"
The little girl didn't loosen her grip on his leg "it's okay,I still love him and want to marry him" she replied gleefully
Tok aba sighs softly "Pipi, you can't marry boboiboy"
"What? Why?" The girl frowned
"Oh my sweet baby, how many times do we have to tell you!" He whined dramatically"
"but why I love him? That's why people gets married right because they love them? People on TV gets married, the prince and the princess got married why can't we?" The little girl pouted
The elder once again sighed "marriage is a complex thing, Pipi, But did you notice? why the people who gets married are usually grown ups? Do you wanna know why?"
Pipi remained silent but listened to what he said "that's because, they need to be tall to reach the things inside the cupboard, so they can cook for their family, both has to work hard to keep the family stable, and most importantly work together to maintain the balance within their relationship." The little girl was in thought.
"Well, that was deep" Gopal whispered "I know, kinda too deep for a pre schooler to understand" fang whispered back
"but how will you do any of those if you're as small as a bean." Tok aba continued teasingly
Boboiboy chuckled softly before slightly detaching her from him and knelt to reach her height. The girl seemed to contemplate on the elder's words "listen, Pipi, I'm really flattered that you have this special feelings for me, and I appreciate that but you see, mariage is a thing that only adults do, we're both too young, especially you. As of now I think we should just focus on having fun, and being good friends, don't you think?"
The little girl thought for a while before agreeing, she realised that they're right, how will she ever reach the cupboard with her height, she decides to just settle, and wait, and focus on having fun with her friends.
Yaya then came closer to them and placed her hand on her shoulder "don't worry, Pipi, there is a perfect time for this kind of things, how about i just treat you with my cookies—" everyone gasp cutting her off "what's wrong?" Everyone held a sheepish smile and simultaneously said "n-nothing!"
Pipi also gave her a sheepish chuckle and said "uhh, it-it's ok! Mama said I shouldn't eat too many cookies because it's not good for me, err hehe" she sweat dropped "mm okay"
"How about I just treat you with tok aba's hot choco, what do you say?" He offered "yes please!" Boboiboy gave her a warm smile, patting her head, but as he stood up he felt his head stir again, soon a gust of wind brushed his face his vision enwrapped by the darkness.
