Work Text:
Studying abroad has never been on Xu Minghao’s list. He thought his life back in China was enough for him and his family. To even dream of having any slightest chance to go abroad for his academics is out of reach. Minghao held himself to not dare himself to ever dream of it in the slightest.
But sometimes, destiny is funny, right? Minghao was just chilling around in his high school. He remembered, it was in his freshman year. Minghao was just enrolled through high school because of his painting portfolio. One of his teachers instructed him to go to the teacher room and meet the said teacher there.
When Minghao arrived, he saw his paintings scattered on the teacher’s desk. Some of it is colored, most of them were still sketched from his bare hands and his pencil. Minghao sketches whenever he feels bored in class. Which happens most of the time, but that’s not the point here.
“Xu Minghao,” his teacher spelled his name, “Who even are you?” Minghao curled his eyebrow at the teacher, “I’m Xu Minghao, sir.” The teacher chuckled, Minghao found it peculiar from his perspective. “Well, I know you are. There’s your signature here,” he pointed out at the bottom right of his sketch, “Do you have any desire to pursue your art more seriously?” another question was thrown at the high schooler. Minghao nibbled his lower lips before nodding, “I have, sir. But I think I can’t do it.” The teacher pursed his lips, thinking of a quick way to prove the student wrong, “Let’s start with you giving me any kind of sketches with different themes each week. If I can help you with it, I’ll tell you.”
It is odd for everyone to give Minghao a chance. Sure, he’s a talented young artist. But people tend to forget that he’s an omega male. What’s up with omega male, by the way? Well, first and foremost, they are weak; at least, that’s how society looks at it.
Minghao is fed up with the bullshit, but he can’t do anything. One of the reasons why his family is so strict about his passion is because of this. The way the society looks at omegas in general and they don’t want them to hurt Minghao in any way. Minghao lived and shaped throughout the years knowing he’s not worth it to deserve more than this, so when an opportunity comes, he doesn’t listen to anyone.
He’s doing this until second year of high school. Suddenly, the teacher asked him to focus on other parts of art, such as dance. Minghao has also been dancing, a b-boy one. Joining one of amateur dance street clubs at the park near his apartment building.
Minghao’s eyebrows furrowed deep, staring at the old man sitting on his chair as he scanned through the high schooler’s sketches. “What are you trying to do, sir?” Minghao decided to ask. He looked up to him, “I’m trying to get you a scholarship abroad.” Minghao’s mouth suddenly hung open, “What? No, I can’t –”
“Why not?”
“My parents –”
“They know,” Minghao’s babbling stopped at the answer, the teacher’s feature softened at him, “They know, Minghao. Do you think I’m doing all of this without their consent? They came to me first after you finished the first month painting submissions. Asking me why was their son staying up all night sketching different themes of abstract art yet it was filled with stories with many variations from each of them. I told them you have so much potential to be out there and I know a place where you can thrive.” Minghao’s eyes were brimmed with tears, “But I’m an omega.” The old man scoffed, “So fucking what? You’re a talented male omega. There are other omega students who are also chasing this scholarship, your competitors. It’s time for you to get your ass up and also think about your academics from now on.” Since then, Minghao has never felt so energetic when going to school everyday.
Long story short, Minghao got the scholarship. He succeeded with his other 3 schoolmates, 2 of them are omega and alpha females. The male ones are him and another omega male. Each of them focused on different sectors obviously and Minghao is in the art department.
The scholarship took him to Seoul, South Korea. A place where only heard by him through his school teacher’s mouth. Thinking at that time he won’t step foot in another country outside his home. Boy, was he so absolutely wrong about that.
Before departing to Seoul, his high school teacher told him about the campus regulations. Because he also graduated from there, which was not surprising at all, but still impressive. “There's only omega pack houses there. You can choose which is suitable for you,” he said to Minghao and the other male omega student, “I didn’t say the campus is completely safe, especially for omegas. But you need to find other omega friends, at least trust them to be your companion. There are also foreign students unions, usually they will advocate a lot of campus life and organization stuff you can enjoy while studying there throughout your 3 to 4 years of college.” Minghao nodded, receiving a light squeeze on his right shoulder by the teacher, “You’re going to be fine, Minghao.”
Upon arriving at the campus, Minghao was escorted to the temporary dormitory building first. He was assigned there first, afraid that no one would offer him a place nearing the start of the class. But once again, the universe proved him wrong. Minghao met Jisoo at the campus foreign students orientation.
Their first meeting was not completely cute, but it was pleasant from Minghao’s perspective as a newcomer. “You’re an omega?” Jisoo asked with an eyebrow raise, a brochure gripping on one of his grips. Minghao nodded and Jisoo immediately softened, “Do you have a place to stay at the moment? I live with my other 4 omega roommates and we still have more rooms to welcome another one.” The younger one parted his mouth to speak but Jisoo cut him off as he shoved the brochure on Minghao’s palm, “Just come to this address and we will show you how worth it the house is to stay for your whole college years.”
Jisoo wasn’t exaggerating back then. The house is lovely, always has been, and Minghao loves it so much until now. His housemates are understanding, accepting that he’s just a scholarship student who turned out to be lucky enough to get it. Jeonghan didn’t like how Minghao worded the reason, he told him it’s his destiny to be brought to Seoul and live with them.
Minghao also understands about the party culture every campus has. He’s not a party person, but he can go if he wants to. But when he’s not, he will be either in his room or stroll around the city art exhibitions by himself. A few times Minghao had to beg Jeonghan and Jisoo to not bring the party to their house, because it’s the last place Minghao has to keep his privacy within him.
In the end, Minghao has his own party in his room. Alongside a person named Wen Junhui. The house brought them together. Minghao remembered the first time he stumbled upon Junhui in the kitchen, interrupting the alpha’s conversation with Wonwoo.
“Oh,” Junhui glanced at Minghao and Wonwoo alternatively, “This is the person you talked about?” Minghao raised an eyebrow, while Wonwoo only slipped into his tea cup without giving any further explanation. Junhui offered his hand to Minghao, his cinnamon flavor scent sucked into the omega’s smelling senses – sharp. “Hi! I’m Wen Junhui! I also got here by scholarship, but it’s different with what’s yours. I saw you at the foreign student orientation a few months ago. You were the one who got scouted by Jisoo hyung, right?” Minghao nodded, “I’m Xu Minghao.” Junhui flashed him a bright smile, “Nice to meet you, Xu Minghao. I hope we’ll be getting along well in the future.”
None of them knew they’re getting along too well until now. Minghao felt everything with Junhui tended to be cliché. He never expected to find an alpha who often sulked everytime he didn’t get to join any of Minghao's lonely adventures of strolling around local’s art exhibitions. Junhui has always been excited whenever Minghao told him about the story of his paintings.
“Hey, how about you try to hang one of your paintings in the campus exhibition? I heard it belongs to your department,” Junhui once pitched an idea in their lunch break at the general canteen together. How did Minghao end up spending his lunchtime with Wen Junhui? He didn’t know, but he did eventually. “Ah, that,” Minghao chuckled, “Well, there’s a plan for doing that. It’s part of the curriculum, but I don’t know if I’m qualified for it.” Junhui huffed out an angry sigh, his mouth still filled with salad, “Nonsense! Minghao, you’re a genius.”
“I know.”
“Are you though?”
“Just shut up and eat, gege.” Minghao can’t ignore how red his ears were at that time.
Both of them ended up going to a lot of exhibitions together. Junhui is a child at heart, the loveliest person according to Jihoon, and Wonwoo’s ex-hook up partner. Minghao is strict with his principles on dating his friend’s ex. Junhui is also an alpha who successfully caught Minghao’s soft heart, but he’s still hesitant with something.
Minghao finds himself standing outside of Wonwoo’s E-Sport studio. He sent him a text, asking the older to meet him outside. This is stupid, Minghao thinks, he’s probably going to hate me. The sound of the door finally opens and Minghao finds Wonwoo, still in his plain black shirt, nudging his head to greet Minghao.
“Hey,” Wonwoo greets, “Do you want to talk here? There’s a coffee shop near the building.” Minghao nods, following wherever Wonwoo leads him to. Wonwoo ordered himself an Americano latte and a chamomile tea for Minghao. “So, what’s up?” Wonwoo asks, putting the drink on the center of the table, “A lot of things are what’sing up my brain,” Minghao’s answer makes Wonwoo chuckles out loud, “Do please tell me all about it.”
Minghao then told him about it. He told Wonwoo about how he feels towards Junhui and how he also respected the history belonging to them. Minghao knows he can’t erase all those parts within Junhui’s life and he really cherises Wonwoo as one of his big brothers in their omega pack. All of those words came out from Minghao’s mouth only to be reacted by Wonwoo’s raised eyebrows.
“Why are you looking at me like that? I’m being serious and sincere right now,” Minghao pressed. Wonwoo nodded, “Oh, I know when you’re serious. It’s just – nothing has been serious between me and Junhui. It wasn’t even romantic, we were drunk. Hell, we didn’t even have sex, Minghao.” Minghao hung his mouth open, ah. “Do you even want to know what he was doing when he’s drunk?” Wonwoo pulled out his phone, “It was a fun night, I can’t lie about that. Soonyoung and Jihoon were there too. We were not alone by ourselves, but we were surely drunk as hell.”
So, there’s that; Minghao expected it to be more dramatic, he’s ready to sacrifice his feelings towards Junhui for Wonwoo’s sake. But, Wonwoo was the first one out of all the people who wanted him and Junhui to be together. He’s also the person who has been scheming about their dates in the first place. When Minghao found out that Wonwoo knew about Junhui’s real feelings for him, he couldn’t even get mad.
Compared to the other stories, Minghao’s relationship with Junhui is stable. The only conflict he has with the alpha is Junhui’s party stamina. He’s always by Minghao’s side when they go to other pack’s frat parties. But sometimes, not most and it’s weird it happened so often, Minghao would end up alone because Junhui was too busy playing with his friends.
So, what’s the meaning of Minghao’s own party with Junhui in his room? When everybody’s out or some of them spent the night outside the house, Minghao often got the whole building for himself. Hence, he invited Junhui. Their relationship has been going on for almost a year now. Still no intention to give each other’s biting marks, but Junhui is a very possessive wolf when it comes to Minghao’s whereabouts.
“You smell different,” Junhui drags his tongue on Minghao’s collarbones, causing the omega to squirm on his lap, “Smell different than your art studio.” Minghao’s lips tremble, legs quivering wrapping around the other’s hips. “I went to the supermarket, that’s all – oh fuck,” Junhui grinds his clothed cock against Minghao’s hole, “Junhui, Junhui – don’t do that. Please, we still have a lot of time. We have all night, baby.” Junhui groans and Minghao moans, erotic sounds colliding in one room simultaneously, “What do you have in mind, pretty?” Minghao hums, “I can show you.”
Minghao was supposed to stand from the alpha’s lap, but Junhui pins him harder on the hip. He groans, feeling the grind against his pucker hole behind the loose brief he’s been wearing all day. The others are out of the house, the wall is soundproof enough, and Minghao doesn’t need any heat inducer to trigger something so natural living inside of him since he was born. Junhui’s presence is enough to make his mind go haywire every second.
For years, Minghao hated himself as an omega. Why was he born with such a weak presence? His chamomile mix with other fruits flavor made everyone turn around, nonetheless he still doesn’t like the attention. People looked at him for his scent, not who he is. No one knows what he’s capable of doing until high school, despite joining the street dance club, Minghao doesn’t acknowledge himself as good or capable to do that.
Until his high school teacher, until the scholarship, until Seoul – until Wen Junhui.
Minghao is comfortable when he’s with Junhui. It took him months into their relationship for Minghao to adjust to the situation that he’s dating right now. The last time Minghao has ever been in love was elementary school. It was just a mere crush, a kiss on the cheek, and a goodbye session whenever they parted ways to their home.
It’s another term to say Minghao is a virgin when he had his first time with the alpha. On the other hand, Junhui is experienced with this kind of thing and it did not bother Minghao at all. Unless one of his ex-partners is close to him, everything is fine. Junhui led him slowly, giving him pleasure that Minghao never got to do alone whenever he’s in heat or just yearning for something sexual.
With Junhui, Minghao allows himself to discover a lot of things in their relationship. Including what they usually do while having sex. Junhui is still sitting on the edge of the bed, staring at the open wardrobe belonging to the owner of the room. Minghao stripped himself from the casual clothing materials and his brief, putting on the green dress hanging just past his hip, exposing his thighs completely.
A soft sigh exhales from Junhui’s lips as Minghao walks towards him slowly. His hip sways from left to right, the dress sculpted his body perfectly. Junhui just wants to ruin him in the most gentle way every man can ever do to his lover. As Junhui rests his palms on Minghao’s hip, Minghao sighs, spreading his legs to slot himself back on the alpha’s lap.
“Baobei,” Junhui whispers against Minghao’s jaw, leaving the other man to crumble to pieces mentally, “Yes, gege.” One of his palms creeps under the silk satin dress, groping Minghao’s ass hard. Minghao gasps, squeezing the older’s shoulders as much as he can, “Ahh – mmh… more, gege.” Junhui chuckles airily, nuzzling the sharp bridge of his nose on Minghao’s jaw, “How do you want it tonight, sweetheart?” Minghao shifts, finding himself difficult to answer the question, “I don’t know. Anything? Just want to be filled with your cum. Knot me if you can.”
The alpha has been holding himself as long as their relationship is going. Probably because of the noises inside his head and the pack members in his house, especially Seungcheol. Minghao knows Seungcheol and how his dominance truly keeps the members in check every time they are away on their own. Including how they should treat their lovers.
Minghao knows that Junhui wants them to be mates. He wants it too; he wants it so bad, he’s been fantasizing every night when he can. But the thing is, Junhui is going to be busy. His last year is approaching and it will hurt Minghao in many ways when he should be away.
“Hey,” Junhui blinks, lashes flutters prettily as he lifts his head to look at the love of his life. Minghao smiles, putting Junhui’s hair at the back of his ear. “I’m here, okay? I’m not going anywhere,” Minghao states it once again, “You’re not going to lose me in a plain sight even when we’re not mated yet. I know it’s easier for you to keep me away when there’s a bite around my neck. But I have my own reasons to not do it right now.” Junhui sighs, resting his forehead on Minghao’s shoulder, “I know, I’m sorry,” Minghao immediately shakes his head, “Quit apologizing and make love to me already. My body is getting hotter.”
“Bossy.”
“Yours.”
“Mmmh. Mine.”
Minghao gasps loudly when Junhui thrusts upwards. He almost loses his balance, but the older catches him immediately. The feeling of having Junhui’s tongue and teeth swirling around his neck veins makes Minghao dizzy. It gets dizzier when Junhui slowly pushes out his pants, throwing it to the floor without giving it a slightest care.
The omega’s body is getting warmer under the latter’s touch. Minghao purrs, preening inside when a cold finger touches his opening. He loves Junhui’s fingers; the minx loves sucking on it whenever Junhui feels stress about the current studio project. Once Minghao let the older fuck him in his studio, getting into a sudden rut, pheromones echoing in the indoor room that was reek from mixture of cinnamon and chamomile in the air.
“Oh –” Minghao sighs as a digit belonging to Junhui’s finger enters his hole. Lips tremble softly and Junhui softens immediately, planting soft kisses on it. “You’re doing good,” Junhui uses his other free arm to tuck Minghao’s dark strands to the back of the latter’s fairy-like ear, “You have always been, A-Hao.” Minghao likes it when Junhui talks to him in Chinese.
He doesn’t mean to romanticize their own mother language. But to live far away from home, Minghao did everything he could to make his private space feel like home to him. Pictures of his parents, the scent of an old chinese store that he usually bought from the local market. He also owns a wall calendar hanging on his wardrobe, some red and blue circled around specific dates telling differences which belong to his task deadlines or the dates he should go out with Junhui.
Wen Junhui is his home personified. He speaks Chinese, smells like home, protects him like an alpha he is. Minghao usually doesn’t want to be protected, he practices wushu. But when Junhui steps into the room, he lets his guard down; not completely, but he has his own reasons to let the alpha take care of him.
“Do you like it?” Minghao asks, slowly rocking his hips against Junhui’s two digits inside of him. The older man raises an eyebrow, “What do I like, baby?” Minghao bites his lower lips, “My dress. You’re not praising it enough. I bought it just for you.” Junhui let out a small ah. Minghao grumbles, “Now, gege –” Junhui shuts him up with a quick kiss on the lips, “Okay, I’m sorry. My mind was clouded by how pretty you are, it’s a bit blurry because maybe my rut is also near, but who fucking cares? I have the prettiest man as my boyfriend and I’m probably going to marry him in the near future.”
Then there’s silence in the room. Minghao’s mouth parts open slightly while Junhui closes his eyes. They’re not even mates yet, just like Minghao explained his perspective before, they are too young. Even when his mother always pestered him with questions about Junhui and their future together, he’s strict with his perspective.
Junhui, on the other hand, he’s an open book. He shows the things that he loves and hates clearly only from his face. Just like Soonyoung, but Junhui tends to keep his commentary down deep in his gut. Then when he gets home to Minghao, he lets it all out.
One of them maybe is his desire to wed Minghao.
“A-Hao –”
“Hm?”
“I’m sorry –”
“You’re sorry that you want to get married to me?” Minghao presses and Junhui shakes his head, “No! No, fuck, no. It’s just an impulsive thought, I’m sorry. I keep thinking about it, you know, to give you what you deserve. To live a life with you, but you always slap some sense to me. That everything could happen to our relationship.” Minghao’s throat feels dry, he doesn’t like the statement. “Getting married is one of them,” Minghao states, “I like the idea, but I just prefer to not do it now.” Junhui scoffs, rolling his eyes, “Of course, idiot. I still have to get a degree to give you a big house for us to live in.”
Minghao snickers, kissing the hell out of Junhui’s lips again. Filling it with a lot of tender and affections he’s been piling up today. Minghao raises his body for a bit before lowering it down to let Junhui’s big cock into his body. Feels like it splitting him into two, but it’s better when he’s being filled either way.
“Ahh…” Minghao moans, eyes blurry with tears, “Big… so fucking big, gege.” Junhui groans, gripping around the omega’s hip tightly, “You’re so tight.” Minghao exhales on Junhui’s lips, tracing his fingers on each of the alpha’s moles. “Wed me later,” Minghao slurs, “and I’ll give you babies.”
Junhui likes babies, he has a little brother and he loves him so much. Is there any other reason for him to not let the idea of getting Minghao pregnant with his own baby? Hell, nah. Hence, he fuck the hell out of him. Thrusting his cock so fucking hard into the tight hilt of the omega.
Minghao drools all over his mouth. The alpha keeps him on his lap as he rocks into his body with a fast pace. Minghao feels his body sizzling, trembling with ecstasy. Eyes rolling to the back of his head, broken moans slip out from his wet plump lips.
The omega comes untouch and the alpha still keeps his pace fast. Changing position as Minghao raises his hips on the bed, letting Junhui pistons his hips against his ass. Minghao screams when he’s getting filled with Junhui’s cums. Popping his knot inside of him and letting it last as long as it takes.
“Wife,” Junhui whispers into Minghao’s ear, “My wife.” Minghao holds the alpha’s hand on his stomach, letting him touch the bulge underneath, “My husband.”
Later on in Minghao’s group chat.
