Work Text:
The youth was exhausted. That would be the last time he would allow a tutoring session to run so late. Well if he was perfectly honest about it, his tiredness was more from the early start than working late (heaven knew he was a proper night owl). He trudged onto the nearly deserted train, dropping his satchel onto the aisle seat and all but collapsing into the window seat.
The dark haired man couldn’t have been more than twenty five, his jet black hair was a little too long, but it looked good on him. He had a slightly feminine face; delicate jaw line, high cheek bones, weak chin, alabaster pale skin all things that he inherited from his mother. However his eyes were purely from his father; royal purple, flecked with something darker. He had also unfortunately inherited his mother’s more delicate, wiry figure, though his father had been a big bruiser of a man from the photos he had found of his parents and what little he could remember of them. His sister had been more unfortunate and inherited their mother’s ill health, a fever when she was four had left her partially crippled. She was the centre of his world, and he had never been able to say “no” to her dove grey eyes and pouting face framed by the ringlets of mousy brown hair. His phone chirruped, causing the youth to frown in irritation. Digging his phone from a pocket he grimaced as he noted the low phone battery. Hopefully it would last till he got home. Opening the text from an unfamiliar number he read it:
“Lelouch buddy…”
Lelouch didn’t even bother finishing reading the text. There was only one person who dared to call him “buddy” Rivalz. No doubt he wanted Lelouch to hook him up with one of his students or something equally asinine. It could wait till tomorrow. Tiredly he pulled up the collar of his sweater protecting his overly sensitive neck from the chill in the air. It would be some time till the air in the train heated up enough for him to be comfortable.
Drowsily he scratched his head, yawned, and then stretched before slouching back into the seat. Impatiently he glanced at his watch. Eleven o’ eight. Two more minutes and the train would leave and take him to his beloved Nunnally. Knowing her she would have fallen asleep on the sofa waiting for him. He hoped Sayako hadn’t been too put out by it all. Lelouch snorted at the thought. Of course she wouldn’t have been put out by any of it; it was the only reason he allowed her to date his little sister. The Japanese girl’s devotion to his younger sibling bordered on fanatical.
Lelouch was startled out of his thought by the sudden jerk of the train as it slowly began to move off. Idly, his gaze swept the carriage and was struck by a sudden sense of Deja vu. The carriage was virtually empty, save for two other passengers. Lelouch watched them curiously, the feeling that they were familiar, but still wholly unfamiliar nagging at his memory. They were an odd pair.
The two were seated on opposite sides of the train, facing the direction the train was traveling in. However there was an air about them which clearly linked them together as fellow traveling companions.
One was a young man with strawberry blond hair, tied back. However a few strands had managed to escape, softening his boyish looks to make him appear almost girly. He wore a simple, but obviously tailored suit of navy blue, quite a contrast with his baby blue eyes. His eyes narrowed as he pursed his lips and he shot an irritated glance to his left at the other man on the far right.
His traveling companion had one elbow propped against the window sill, with his cheek resting on it. A slim hardback book was pinned open against one crossed leg, the strong dexterous fingers, casually flipping a page over as cold pale violet eyes absorbed the information they displayed. A lock of corn silk blond hair, a few shades darker than his fair skin fell into the man’s eyes, with an irritated huff he flicked his head in a practised gesture and the hair fell back into place again. Like his companion he was attired in a tailored suit, though his was of a white, the purple of his tie just a few shades lighter than his eyes. Lelouch stared at him in fascination. He looked like a model posing for a shoot or something similar. The dark haired man had to take another glance round the carriage to make sure he was not sitting in the middle of a shoot. However they were definitely alone in the carriage. Lelouch looked back to the strange man, and was that the hint of a smirk on his lips? Disconcerted Lelouch looked out into the inky blackness racing past.
At some stage he must have fallen asleep. He was gradually brought into consciousness by the slowing of the train at its first stop, now that it was outside of the city. Lelouch attempted to evade consciousness, however the rustling of clothing coupled with the sudden jerk of the train as it stopped thwarted him. Grumpily he opened his eyes, looking outside to check out of habit as to where he was. Definitely too early in his journey to be awake. He was about to close this eyes and go back to sleep when a pale flash out of the corner of his eye caught his attention. Look over to where the other two passengers were seated he saw the strawberry blond asleep, body slouched against the window. However the other blond was standing up and removing his coat. Lelouch nearly gaped at his height. The man was as tall as any basketball player, and certainly had the physique to be one, however his graceful movements made him look more like a dancer or acrobat. He was actually rather handsome, definitely what the women in his last class would call eye candy. The blond caught Lelouch staring and smiled genially. Instantly Lelouch blushed, turning away quickly, embarrassed at having been caught staring. There was more rustling and then the sound of footsteps rapidly heading in his direction. Lelouch ducked his head down, his mind whirling with what to do. Had he offended the guy or something? Was he going to ask Lelouch to stop staring at him?
But the answer to all his questions was no. The man swept past him, the faint clean scent of lime and mint scenting the air as he passed. Lelouch looked up and twisted round to watch him go to the small water dispenser at the end of the carriage. Tugging out one of the tiny paper cups from the dispenser he held it under the water tap and pressed on the tab to release the water. Having filled the cup he drank it in one gulp, his head tipping back, hair falling away from his face. Lelouch watched as the muscles of his throat flexed and contracted as he swallowed. Lelouch unconsciously licked his dry lips, blinking as if mesmerised. Suddenly aware of his behaviour, Lelouch turned back in his seat before he could be caught staring again.
There was the shrill scream of a whistle and the train was moving off again. Lelouch stared into the empty air in front of him, his brain replaying what he had seen. The head thrown back to bare the soft skin of the neck, the muscles moving ever so slightly under that pale skin, those pale violet eyes sliding shut as he drank, as if he were taking pleasure from drinking the water. What would he look like taking pleasure? Lelouch shook his head violently at the thought. Had he actually fantasized about a random stranger?! More over a man!? Lelouch was far from Homophobic, but he had never been particularly attracted to anyone, so he had never properly thought about his sexual orientation. However he had assumed that he was heterosexual in line with the majority of the society he saw around him. While Lelouch was having his sexual orientation crisis, another part of his brain was now painfully aware of the presence of a man somewhere behind him that, for want of a better word, he might fancy. Lelouch startled slightly as the man silently slipped past him back to his seat, a wave of lime and mint once more rolling out behind him.
Disturbed by his own thoughts he fell into a light doze. He was awoken once more by the slowing of the train. Blearily he looked out the window to check what station they had arrived at. However all his eyes saw was the inky blackness. He frowned in puzzlement. The station lights couldn’t have all gone out. There should at least be a couple of streetlights somewhere out there. He looked around in confusion, noting the other two passengers seems unperturbed by their sudden stop. The strawberry blond stood and nodded at his traveling companion. There was the brief crackle of the announcement system before a voice spoke.
‘We do apologise for the delay of this service. There is a disturbance on the tracks ahead. We are currently awaiting for this to be cleared.’ The calm female voice announced as with a shudder the train’s rumbling engines fell silent and the lights flicked off. Lelouch was momentarily confused and alarmed, however within a few seconds the lights dimly turned back on. Lelouch blinked and rubbed his eyes. Hadn’t the other man been standing there a moment ago? The announcement system crackled again ‘Apologies for the brief black out. We have lost power and are currently running on the emergency backup. We will be on our way once the track is cleared and power is restored. Once again we do apologise for this delay.’ The announcement system crackled off.
Lelouch fumbled around in his satchel for his phone. He should at least leave a message on his sister’s phone in case she woke up wondering why he was not home yet. He tried to turn the phone screen on, but no familiar lock screen appeared. Puzzled he pressed the button for the screen a few more times before cursing as he remembered the low battery sign from when he checked his phone earlier.
The dim light darkened and he became aware of the scent of lime and mint. He owlishly looked up at the figure looking down on him.
‘Is there a problem?’ The tall blond enquired, his voice a light baritone, a faint unidentifiable accent colouring his voice.
‘Uh um, my phones dead and uh my sister…’ Lelouch stumbled over his own words, feeling his face heat up with every mistake he made.
‘Ah, you need to call home about the delay?’ The man asked with a faint smile. Lelouch dumbly nodded. ‘How about using my phone?’ He suggested pulling a slim item from a pocket. A few heart beats of fiddling with it and he was offering it to Lelouch.
‘Um thankyou.’ Lelouch said accepting the phone. The man gifted him with a brief smile and headed back to his seat, talking softly with his companion. Lelouch quickly dialled his sister’s number. The phone had hardly rang once, when it was answered in a breathless voice.
‘Brother! Is that you?’ A soft worried voice answered.
‘Yeah, it’s me Nunna.’ He replied soothingly, a concerned frown wrinkling his brow. ‘What are you doing still up?’
‘Never mind that. Where are you? Is everything ok? I tried ringing your phone but it was switched off or something. Are you ok?’ The frantic and worried voice of his beloved sister echoed from the phone. Lelouch worried his lower lip, unsure what he could say to calm her down.
‘Calm down Nunnally,’ He said soothingly ‘I’m all right. My last tutoring class ran over time and I forgot to charge up my phone in the office today. But what are you doing still awake? You should be asleep by now. Is Sayako there?’ He asked in concern. He could hear the smile in her voice when he replied.
‘I was waiting up for you of course and yes, Sayako is here. I pretended to fall asleep earlier so she would go to sleep. She has an exam tomorrow morning and I don’t want her performance to suffer just because she forced herself to stay up with me.’ Lelouch smiled at how thoughtful she was. ‘Hmph, well I suppose I can forgive her this once since you tricked her.’ He replied teasingly. ‘But anyway I was going to leave a message on your phone. The train’s been delayed. Some disturbance on the line and the power’s shut off. I’m sure I won’t be too long, but I just wanted to tell you so you don’t worry too much.’ Nunnally sighed a little before replying.
‘Ok brother.’
‘Now go to sleep Nunnally. I want to find you fast asleep when I get home.’ He instructed with a mock firmness in his voice.
‘I know brother.’ She replied slightly petulantly ‘Love you. Good night.’
‘And I love you too,’ He replied fondly. ‘Sleep well.’
He waited till she hung up before ending the call. Looking up he saw the man had resumed reading at his seat. However at the absence of Lelouch’s voice he looked up and smiled. Closing his book he swiftly got up and stalked the short distance down the aisle to where Lelouch was sitting, eyes fixed on the dark haired man. Lelouch stared back unable to tear his gaze away from those intense violet orbs. He felt his heart thumping in his chest, trying to hammer its way out with increasing urgency. This must be what a rabbit feels like when a car is hurtling towards them, a small still functioning part of his brain suggested. Unconsciously he held out the phone back to the other man, a shiver running through him as the cold fingers caressed over his own as their owner claimed back his property. The blond blinked and the spell was broken. Lelouch blinked rapidly, surfacing as if out of a trance.
‘Uh, um thank you for the use of your phone.’ he said belatedly, somewhat off kilter.
‘No problem, I’m just glad I could help with something as simple as a phone call.’ Came the smooth reply. ‘Are you feeling alright? You look overly flushed. Is it alright if I have a quick check? I’m a doctor.’
The man leant down, extending a hand as if to touch Lelouch. The cool scent of lime and mint became prevalent in the air. Lelouch found himself leaning forward towards it, suddenly wondering how the cold fingers would feel against his burning skin. However the sudden jerk of the train starting broke the moment, causing the man to grasp the head of a seat instead to steady himself. A flash of irritation passed over his face so quickly, Lelouch barely registered it as he leaned back into his seat, embarrassment further brightening his cheeks.
‘No I’m alright.’ Lelouch replied, forcing a smile ‘But thankyou for your concern.’
‘Well as long as you are feeling ok…’ The man said trailing off meaningfully. Lelouch simply nodded his head. With an air of reluctance the blond made his way back to his seat, Lelouch staring after him. There was a short hushed but heated conversation with the strawberry blond, before the intoxicating blond moodily settled back into his original seat. Lelouch started out the window seeming to contemplate the blackness. However he was avidly studying what little of the blond he could make out in the window reflection. Gradually the rocking motion of the train caused his blinks to get longer and his body to relax as sleep claimed him.
Lelouch was brought into sudden and drowsy alertness by a sharp pressing pain at the side of his neck, involuntarily he let out a cry of pain. Trying to arch away from the pain, he found himself unable to as he was pressed back into the seat. Lelouch struggled to open his sleep crusted eyes, half blurred from sleep. Raising one hand to wipe away the remains of sleep, his hand was caught in a cold grip, as if steel fingers were squeezing his. Lelouch gasped in pain, finally realizing that someone was there. Rapidly struggling to blink, he managed to clear most of the sleep from his eyes, as the cool scent of lime and mint invaded his senses.
Light headed, he moaned in relief, panting lightly as the pain was replaced by the feeling of burning cold lips laying frozen kisses against his neck. He watched in dazed wonderment, the reflection in the window of the corn silk mop of hair moving slightly as his neck was worshiped with the dedication of the most devout believer. Slowly the fingers uncurled from his wrist, always ready to restrain him. Lelouch shuddered as teeth nipped softly at the flesh of his neck, but not in fear. Hazed over with pleasure he tilted his neck slightly, a willing virginal sacrifice, his stillness laced with the terrified rapture of the savage devotee. His eyes fluttered shut as blood slowly pooled lower in his body and the cold fire of desire raced through him causing his blood to smoulder. The lithe body became supine and the world smelt of lime and mint as his hand dropped limply to the seat. Cool fingers rested against the opposite side of his neck, cradling him, while the other busied itself undoing his belt. All the while coldness seeped away from those talented hungry lips and spread across the skin of his neck. Lelouch revelled in the unfamiliar feeling of being lavished with so much attention, worshiped with such care.
Cold fingers were distracted from their task as they found the pale snowy plain of his belly. Flames of arousal flickered in the trailing tracery of the blonds wandering fingers. A soft moan left Lelouch’s lips as the warming lips left his neck. Opening his eyes, he was treated to the sight of hungry lilac eyes getting closer. The overpowering taste of coppery blood tainted their kiss, as the sweet softness of their lips meeting soon turned to animalistic hunger as the blond pushed forward, his tongue fighting Lelouchs into submission. An uncontrolled moan tried to escape, as deep purple eyes opened wide in pleasant surprise as a hand firmly pumped his erection.
Greedily the blond swallowed every vibration that trembled in Lelouch’s throat, as if trying to eat the very air in the smaller’s lungs. Lelouch squirmed in his seat, mindlessly trying to buck up into the slick firmness of the other’s hand, too caught up in the kiss to care for dignity or logic. The blond’s only response was to laugh into the delicate mouth, its tongue lashing in cat like defiance. His fingers caressed and teased the swollen tip, following the trail of smeared precum down to the small velvety balls. Lelouch struggled for air, unwilling to break the kiss as the stranger disengaged with a deceptive gentleness which did not match the look in this eyes. Like a lost puppy Lelouch arched up to follow the sweet bliss of the other’s lips, searching the ferocious lilac eyes for a promise of more to come.
The blond gave no sign, except to allow a predatory smirk to curl his lips. He descended on Lelouch, his hot tongue making broad sweeps over Lelouch’s neck. Long fingers once more encircled the weeping erection, pumping the turgid flesh, as he bit down on the supple flesh once more. A half groaning moan filled the carriage as Lelouch pressed himself against the rock solid body above him embracing the pain. His body strained to reach that exquisite point of pain that stood on the edge of pleasure, making it all the sweeter. Then the world turned to white, lime, mint and the burning cold fever of release, as white fireworks exploded behind his eyelids. He thrust up into the slickened hand in mindless abandon, trying to hold onto the ecstatic high of his orgasm. However all good things come to an end. Bonelessly he sagged back into the seat, the exhaustion of post coital bliss, drawing a blanket of sleep over him.
“… will be arriving at Ashford Academy. Ashford Academy next stop.”
The voice over the intercom roused Lelouch from his deep sleep. He came awake immediately, a blush covering his face as he immediately remembered his dream. He groaned in dismay as he felt the sticky dampness in his boxers. Covering his face he leaned back in his seat half staring up at the ceiling. He felt the train slow and immediately stood up. Only to clutch at the head of one of the seats as the world momentarily faded to black before fading back into view. God damned anaemia, so much for the iron supplements he had been prescribed. That doctor obviously knew shit all. He should probably change doctors, maybe a specialist would be able to provide a better diagnosis.
His eyes was caught by the pair of men from before. They were now both seated on either side of the aisle. The corn silk blond looked at Lelouch, who smiled slightly. The corn silk blond looked at him blankly, before a polite though vague smile graced his lips, a question clearly visible in his pale lilac eyes. Lelouch let the light smile fade, puzzled as he made his way away from the pair who were now in what sounded like a serious conversation. Had he actually dreamed all that? Maybe he should ask Nunnally, but she would probably worry. In any case it hardly mattered; the need for his phone call would be coming to an end soon and then it would be a moot point as to whether he had actually called her or not. He rubbed the side of his neck, sore no doubt from sleeping on the train at such a weird angle.
Shaking his head he resolved to treat the whole thing as a dream. How stupid, as if vampires existed, it was all just a strange crazy dream thought up by his mind. The train came to a stop and Lelouch fumbled in his satchel as he stepped off the train. His feet trailed more and more the further he got from the train as he searched in the detritus of the side compartment for his travel pass. Triumphantly his fingers closed on a smooth oblong card. However triumph turned to puzzlement at the thick piece of card he held, puzzled he turned it over and read it;
Pendragon Private Medical Clinic

Herma. Didn’t that have something to do with blood? Was this guy a blood specialist? A blood doctor? Maybe Lelouch would go to see him if he was. At least it would save him having to look for one. He’d call tomorrow morning and make an appointment.
