Chapter Text
It was the first stop of Justin’s lengthy journey around Canada. The trip began in the Atlantic Provinces, with the Province who was its once own country way before Justin’s father was Prime Minister, Newfoundland. Well it is Newfoundland and Labrador but for respect of the Newies it’s just Newfoundland. Justin’s private flight landed at 10 am sharp however in EDT. The weather is actually pretty nice, despite what he’s heard about the weather there. It was a bit chiller than what he is used to but he knew it could handle it.
Eventually after a long drive he quickly got cozy in a secluded Cabin. It was deep in the forest but it was homey enough. He was here the longest through his trip, he was forced by his team to try and experience the woods as well as to problems in Labrador. Justin knew that Pierre’s team also made him go on a ‘vacation’, but Justin and his team knew of his attempt to get more votes in the election which was in the next upcoming months. In a gross way to win the hearts over. Newfoundland was a known Liberal province, Trudeau was going to try to win over more people’s vote even though he knew that he already had most people on his side.
However Trudeau’s team knew something he didn’t, until when he learned later that day.
Soon enough after packing and Adventuring around the place that would be his home for a week Justin became hungry so he decided to put his cooking skills to the test. He googled recipes and decided on one he thought he would like.
He had been cooking for about twenty minutes before the Newfie weather kicked in and it began to pour. Justin sighed looking out the window near the stove as he stirred his pot. He was hoping to look around outside maybe do some hiking. Then he heard it. It was what sounded like an approaching vehicle. Justin was slightly on edge but he decided to just ignore it, ‘it’s probably just another camper’ he thought to himself. Justin decided to just keep cooking, that’ll it go away and continued to cook.
He heard a few distant ‘slam’ and but the sound of the engine persistent. Soon there was a knock at the door of the cabin. Then not long after was the opening of a door, Justin’s head spun to the door, it opened and it was Justin’s assistant, Natalie, who was keeking her head around the door.
“Sir?” She began, an attempting to hide her nervous behaviour, “There has been a bit of an issue..” She continued after a pause. “I believe you will have to share a cabin with Mr. Poilievre, if you have any questions give me a call.” And with that she was out the door but left it slightly open.
Suddenly the door cracked open yet again but widened this time. Soon there was a tall man in the doorway, a man that Trudeau definitely did not want to see, Mr. Pierre Poilievre.
