Donna froze when Anita answered Ted's door.
"Edward, it's Donna."
Ted appeared, "Donna?"
"Got your letter; can I change your mind?"
"I can't love someone who doesn't trust me."
"I don't trust her!"
"You should've trusted me! I care for Anita but never acted on it because I love you. Now, I'm just done with the jealousy."
"So we're over?"
"Yes."
"Fine." she said solemly. "Look, you might as well be the kids' dad, so I won't keep them from you. "
"Thanks."
"Keep Peter safe on your hunts."
"I will. Goodbye, Donna. "
Her heart broke as he shut the door.
