Chapter Text
Nexus had captured Moon and Solar in a dome like structure, invisible but impenetrable.but Sun manged to avoid it, hiding behind some wall, scared of what Nexus would do to him if he found him, and also scared of what he was planning to do with Solar and Moon, he did NOT want either of them to die again. He didnt want anyone to die actually, not again. It feels like death is the only constant in this family. That and being kidnapped. But why would Nexus even want to kidnap or kill them?
Now that he thought about it, it was october...every october the show had been taken over by some villians.. first time it was Lunar and Eclipse, and the second being Blood Moon and Ruin, but would Dark Sun and Nexus want to take over the channel? Theres no reason for them to, they aren't good enough as a duo anyway.
While sun was sitting there contemplating possibilities, he grew unaware of his surroundings, not realizing Nexus was like, 10 feet away from finding him, only being alerted by his approaching footsteps. Sun jolted up, trying to make a last ditch effort and run away or something, but the second he stod up, Nexus turned the corner and saw him, sending fear down Suns spine, as he froze.
"There you are." Nexus said, grabbing suns wrist before he could react. "What are you even doing?!" Sun yelled, trying to free himself from him. "Trying to capture you guys," Nexus said, dragging Sun inview of the dome, Sun struggling. "Isnt that obvious?" Nexus taunted, Moon and Solar watching Sun and Nexus. "WHY?!" Sun snapped, breaking out of Nexus's grip. "No need for you to know." Nexus replied, trying to grab Suns wrist again, but failing this time. "Just- get in the dome with your brothers you-" Nexus said, Sun interrupting with, "NO. Why would i go in that- that- THING so you can like, electrocute us or something?!" backing away from Nexus. "Oh im not ganna hurt you guys. Just leave you there! BUT- I will hurt you if you dont GET IN." Nexus shouted, threatening the one who used to be his brother, who he would never think of harming before. Sun looked at Nexus, struggling for words"Havent you hurt me enough?!" He blurted out to the animatronic, looking into his eyes. Nexus paused for a second, before muttering, "Say... aren't you the only one who hasn't died in your family?"
"DONT YOU FUCKING DARE." Moon yelled from inside the dome, getting closer to the walls of it. "Ooo, is Moon angry~?" Nexus said in a mocking tone, turing over to Moon, walking toward the dome, "And what would you do if i did?" tapping the wall of the dome, like Moon is some kind of fish in a fishtank. "Its not like you can hurt me, your stuck in thereee~" he said with a chuckle. "I WILL RIP YOU APART." Moon yelled, banging his fists on the dome, Solar reaching his hand out to moon. "Moon.." Solar said, placing a hand on his shoulder in an attempt to calm him down. Nexus just smiled at Moon as he turned on his heel to face Sun, walking toward him. "Come on Sun, get in!" Nexus offered his hand out to Sun, him flinching back. "N-No." Sun stumbled over his words, "You-You wont kill me, deep down i know you-" Nexus grabbed Suns wrist, " YOU DONT KNOW ME." He screamed at sun, tears of anger forming in his eyes, "STOP PRETENDING THAT YOU DO." His grip tighting on Suns wrist, "THERE IS NO GOODNESS LEFT INSIDE OF ME. I DONT WANNA ACT LIKE SOMEONE IM NOT-" A chuckle coming out at the end of his sentence, "AND THIS IS THE REAL ME!" Nexus snapped suns wrist, before kicking him in the stomach, as Sun screamed.
"SUN!!" Moon yelled, Nexus approaching Sun, the daycare attendant just sitting there, still in shock. "Im not scared to hurt you Sundrop." Nexus said, bending down to suns level, hands behind his back, Sun looking up at him, wiping oil that spilled out of his mouth of his face. "You know, i never cared for you." Nexus stated, deadpanned, sending a jolt of some sort of greif into Sun. "Not as much as Earth or Solar anyway. Even though you were technically my closest relative, i just- felt more drawn to others." Nexus stood back up, looking away from Sun, "You're kind of just an alternate choice, always have been, if you get what i mean." Suns face was twisted in between betrayal and confusion as he looked up as his ex-brother, the one who had calmed him down from panic attacks and comforted him at his lowest, now spitting out pety insults that hurt Sun more than he would like to admit. Sun looked down at his hands, which where shaking a bit. Nexus looked back down at Sun because of his silence. "Oh, is little Sunny drop sad because ol' Nexus said some meaaan words?" He mocked Sun, crouching down to his level, "Ey, look at me." Sun directed his gaze from his hands to Nexus, now at eye level with him. "You're noth-" Sun interrupted Nexus my punching him square in the face, and standing up, garnering a "WOOO!!" from Moon. "Let my brothers go. I dont care about your stupid speech." Sun spat out, on the verge of tears, taking a step away from Nexus, who was still on the floor. Nexus stood up, glaring at sun. Not saying a word. Sun stepped back wearily, asking "Are you ganna say something..?"
Before Sun had the chance to do or say anything else, Nexus shoved Sun onto the ground, grabbing his wrists, pinning him down. Sun was flailing his arms around, trying to get out of Nexus's grasp, "Get-" he started, before Nexus punched him in the face, repeatedly. It burned, Sun was sure his face plate would be dented. When Nexus pulled away, Sun started to hear ringing it his ears. His head felt like it was ganna split open, the pain making him feel delirious. He started to move one of his hands up to his face, headache at full force, but Nexus grabbed his forearm. Suns eyes widened in suprise, through the pain he forgot who or what he was getting beat by. "Let g-" Nexus responded to Sun by snapping his arm in half at the socket, and throwing the part he broke off behind him. Sun let out a scream of agony, trying to get Nexus off of him with his remaining arm, Nexus pinning him down again. "GET OFF OF HIM YOU FUCK" Sun heard Moon scream, along with a bang, presumably the sound of him banging on the invisible prison he and Solar where stuck in. Nexus panted on top of Sun, trying to compiss himself, but still pinning Sun to the ground, him beating the shit out of him was now clearly a fit of rage.
Sun layed there, trying to calm his pain respetors down, discomfort was flowing through what remained of his left arm. He wanted so badly to hold it, but Nexus still had him pinned down, It seemed like torture. Even though Sun was a robot, he still had human instincts, it was programmed into him afterall. Because of this, he felt like he was going to bleed out, even though he knew the only liquid that can come out of him is oil, and he cant die from loss of oil. He thinks. Sun's train of thought stained by agony was interrupted by Nexus speaking, who was now standing above him, Sun didnt know how he didnt realize. "Sundrop." The animatronic said, pointing his arm toward Sun, palm open, "You have been alive for far too long." Star energy started to charge up in Nexus's palm, "Goodnight." He said with a smile, the ominous glow of the star power grew brighter, Sun squinted his eyes, trying to process what Nexus was saying, he could hardly focus on anthing with his head throbbing so bad, and the soreness in his arm. "What? What are you-" Sun scrambled to say, trying to communicate with the madman, before he got interrupted by the star power Nexus was charging firing, hitting sun before he could move, sending a wave of burning hot pain through suns body. It felt like his insides where replaced with lava, the scorching, fiery sensation inveluping his entire body, as he screamed in pure tormemt. The last thing he managed to hear was his brother, screaming his name. Than, the world turned to black, his happiest and saddest memories flashing in his face, before all thoughts ceased, and the chilling embrace of death welcomed him with open arms.
