Chapter Text
Jeongguk yawns, closing his locker with a little more force than necessary. The sound echoes down the nearly empty hallway, which is one of the perks of always being early.
Unfortunately, it’s just nearly empty.
“Yo, Jeon!”
He knows that voice too well - Taehyung’s. It’s full of mockery, like always. Jeongguk lets out a sigh, already preparing himself for whatever nonsense is about to come his way this time.
Slowly, he turns to face the taller boy who’s now leaning casually against the lockers, arms crossed and that cocky grin plastered on his face.
“What do you want, Kim?” Jeongguk spits out, trying to sound calm, but he can already feel the anger coming up. “Why don’t you find someone else to annoy today?”
He crosses his arms too, hoping to come off as unfazed. But Taehyung, of course, steps closer, almost closing the already narrow gap between them.
Jeongguk’s pulse speeds up and he swallows hard, trying to ignore the way Taehyung’s presence makes him feel like a stupid teenager.
“Got surgery to become taller over the summer?” Taehyung remarks, eyes running over Jeongguk’s body.
Jeongguk straightens his posture, refusing to let him win. “Why, scared I might be able to look down on you soon?” He grins with a calm voice, but inside, he’s fuming. He can’t stand how Taehyung always manages to get under his skin without fail.
But Taehyung just laughs, the annoyingly confident sound making Jeongguk’s blood boil.
“Yeah, super scared. I’m not sure how I’d survive without those big doe eyes looking up at me like a lost puppy.”
Heat rushes to Jeongguk’s face the moment those words leave Taehyung’s mouth.
But he’s not that same awkward kid from last year, the one who would stammer and blush every time Taehyung so much as looked his way.
He’s different now, stronger. Or at least he’s trying to be.
“Can you just– god, shut up! You’re so annoying.” Jeongguk snaps, turning around to walk away, but Taehyung’s voice follows him, stopping him in his tracks.
“But seriously, ditching those glasses was just the move. You’re almost bearable to look at now.” Taehyung calls after him, and Jeongguk doesn’t even have to turn around to know that stupid smirk is still on his lips.
“Fuck you.” Jeongguk mutters under his breath, but the words lack the confidence he wants them to have. God, how does Taehyung do it so easily?
He walks down the hallway, fists clenched at his sides.
This year was supposed to be different. He was supposed to be different. But with his friends being gone and Taehyung being.. well, Taehyung, that might be harder than he thought.
🕷️🕷️🕷️
It happened a few weeks after the start of summer break while Jeongguk was camping with his closest friends in the woods.
When the sun started to set, Jeongguk and Hana decided to take a walk while Seongho got started on dinner, which just consisted of lighting a bonfire to warm up the canned soup they had brought.
During their conversation - probably Jeongguk ranting about how Taehyung could be both so infuriatingly attractive yet annoying while Hana agreed wholeheartedly, like any good friend would - a spider crawled up Jeongguk’s leg.
Deep in his rant, Jeongguk didn’t notice until it was too late, and the spider had already bitten him.
But who are we to blame the spider? As if we wouldn’t do the same.
His immediate reaction was to scream and panic, while Hana mercifully slapped Jeongguk’s leg repeatedly until the spider fell off and curled up on the ground.
“Jesus, I’ve never seen a spider this big.” Jeongguk gasped, but his relief didn’t last long. “Wait, did you bring your phone? We need to take pictures and see whether it’s venomous!” He said, frantically searching for his phone.
Meanwhile, Hana started rethinking her life choices before picking up the de4d spider and heading back to the campsite.
Seongho, motivated as always to put his degree to use, attempted to identify the spider but found no useful information. It was only afterwards that Hana explained to him that a law degree wouldn’t be of big help in this case.
Eventually, they decided to wait and see what happens. The plan worked well enough until they returned home two days later and Jeongguk got sick.
High fever, nausea, headaches, you name it. Not to mention the sudden growth spurt that made most of his clothes unwearable in the span of just a few days.
To top it off, he woke up one morning looking like he’d been hitting the gym for months when in reality, he’d never even stepped foot into one.
Another weird discovery he made that day was that he could stick to walls and ceilings, but his muscles distracted him too much to be creeped out by that.
Fortunately for Jeongguk, his friends reacted as if they had been waiting for him to develop superpowers their entire lives.
So, just a few weeks later, Seongho’s law degree did come in handy. He assured Jeongguk that, according to his research, there was no law forbidding him from swinging through the city and fighting criminal activities.
They even managed to craft a fully functioning suit, perfectly accentuating his waist and, even more importantly, his butt. All thanks to the spider.
May it rest in peace.
🕷️🕷️🕷️
Jeongguk lets out an exhausted breath as he slumps down on a rooftop. After spending the last few hours battling a series of weird situations - from a man stealing socks to an attempted kidnapping - he’s started questioning the sanity of Seoul’s citizens.
He looks at his watch: 3:32 AM. How is he supposed to go home, get two hours of sleep and then head to university for his morning lectures?
And adding to his frustration, he’s on his own now. Seongho has finished his last semester and Hana dropped out to open her own café.
That leaves Jeongguk to handle Taehyung solo until he graduates - or drops out, but that isn’t really an option anyway.
“Spiderman?”
Jeongguk tenses up, quickly pulling his mask back into place before turning his face to the voice. His brows furrow when he recognizes Taehyung standing there.
“What.. are you doing here, mister civilian?” Jeongguk clears his throat, trying to deepen his voice to make sure Taehyung doesn’t recognize him.
His heartbeat quickens as Taehyung steps closer, and Jeongguk automatically backs up until his back hits the barricade he was just sitting on.
Taehyung chuckles. “I live in this building. I come here often to.. you know, think.” He shrugs.. “I watched the news, can’t believe the weirdos in this city. A ‘sock snatcher’? You really had to track down the guy stealing socks from laundry lines? That’s some serious dedication.”
Jeongguk smiles beneath his mask. “Well, I guess that’s my job. I have to make sure everyone has matching socks.” He replies with a small laugh.
“You know, you can stop making your voice so deep. I wouldn’t recognize you anyways given how many people live in this city.” Taehyung mumbles and walks past him before he climbs onto the barricade and sits in Jeongguk’s previous spot.
Jeongguk’s eyes widen. “Hey, uhm– isn’t that a bit dangerous?” He asks, now using his normal voice.
Taehyung looks back at him and grins instead of coming back down to safety. “Aren’t you doing the same thing?”
“Yes, but I’m a–”
“Superhero, exactly.” Taehyung interrupts with a cocky smirk. “So you can protect me, right?”
Jeongguk nods, relieved that the mask hides his flushed cheek, and he sits beside Taehyung. “I suppose you’re right.”
Comfortable silence falls between them and Jeongguk uses the opportunity to collect his thoughts and let the reality of him and Taehyung having a normal conversation sink in.
Well, technically it’s Spiderman and Taehyung talking, but that still counts for Jeongguk.
“Did you just, like, arrive in Seoul and decide to be a hero or.. I don’t know, were you bitten by some spiders?” Taehyung jokes, breaking the silence after a few more minutes. “You know, people have been coming up with crazy theories.”
Jeongguk looks up, letting out a nervous laugh. “Actually, I /was/ bitten by a spider.” He admits and realizes how bizarre it sounds to say out loud.
After all, he never had to explain to anyone how it all started because the only people who know were there when it happened.
“It happened pretty recently. If I’m being honest, I’m still figuring things out.”
“Oh.” Taehyung pauses. “So.. this is all new to you too, hm?”
The hero nods, glancing down at his hands.
“Well, if it helps, you’re doing a pretty great job. You’re a natural.” Taehyung suddenly says and smiles, Jeongguk just waving him off with a shy grin beneath the mask.
“Thank you.”
“Does anyone know?”
Jeongguk hesitates. There’s no reason to be telling Taehyung any of this, especially considering their relationship. Of course Taehyung doesn’t know it’s him, but Jeongguk being aware of Taehyung’s hatred towards him should be enough to stop the conversation.
Yet, talking to him as someone else feels oddly comforting. They’ve never had a straightforward conversation as Jeongguk and Taehyung, and it makes him curious about getting to know the real Taehyung.
“My friends know. They were with me when I was bitten and were thrilled when I got something out of it. But.. I don’t know, now they kinda see me as this invincible figure,” Jeongguk says with a sigh. “I’m still just… me. I do appreciate their support, but I feel like I could let them down at any moment.”
Jeongguk looks away, embarrassed. “Sorry, we don’t know each other and I can’t stop yapping.”
Taehyung just laughs, shaking his head. “It’s okay, I like yapping. I’m sorry you’re feeling this way, but I’m sure you wouldn’t disappoint them. They know you’re doing your best, we all do.” He offers Jeongguk a reassuring smile.
“Also, I bet this whole secret identity thing must be important to you, but you can’t tell me you’re older than a college student.” Taehyung observes, raising an eyebrow as he looks at the hero.
Jeongguk’s muscles tense up again, but Taehyung continues before he can say something.
“Don’t worry, I'm not trying to unmask you. I’m just trying to say that you have a lot of responsibilities for someone in their early 20s. Take some time for yourself too, I promise no one will be disappointed.”
Jeongguk swallows, a smile tugging at his lips. “Thank you, T– uh– what’s your name?” He stops himself, not wanting to blow his cover.
“I’m Taehyung.” He says with a smile. “Oh sh!t, it’s late, we should both head home.”
They both get down from the barricade, Jeongguk glad that he doesn’t have to save Taehyung from falling down the building.
“I hope we run into each other again and get to chat more.” Taehyung tilts his head and Jeongguk nods enthusiastically.
“Definitely. Thanks for hearing me out. If you ever need help, I have a social media account now so people can report incidents so–” Jeongguk explains while walking backwards.
“I know, I've been following since day one.” Taehyung grins and Jeongguk almost stumbles. “So keep an eye out for a message, yeah?”
Jeongguk nods again. “Alright then.. see you around, Taehyung.”
“See you, Spidey.” Taehyung waves as he walks back to the door to the staircase.
Instead of swinging off immediately, Jeongguk takes a moment to look over the city from the rooftop.
🕷️🕷️🕷️
When Jeongguk wakes up in the morning, he feels like a bus ran him over. With not even two hours of sleep, he’s barely holding it together during the lecture, struggling to keep his eyes open.
Balancing a full-time hero job and college is proving to be more challenging than he thought, and the thought of exam season is a nightmare.
“Seems like that glow up of yours was only temporary.” A familiar voice interrupts his self pity. Jeongguk sighs and decides to ignore Taehyung, but a moment later, the man plops down next to him.
Jeongguk raises an eyebrow, trying to remain composed even though his heartbeat quickens - his usual reaction to Taehyung.
“Why are you sitting next to me?” And how does he look so good with the same amount of sleep Jeongguk has had?
Taehyung just shrugs, pulling out his materials without looking at Jeongguk. “The rest of the seats are pretty much occupied. And that corner over there with all the free seats? Yeah, it smells funky there.”
Jeongguk swallows hard, briefly looking at the corner Taehyung mentioned before turning his attention back to him.
Watching Taehyung set up his laptop and books, he can’t help but drool over how effortlessly attractive he looks doing something so mundane. It should be illegal.
Maybe that’s reason enough to arrest him as Spiderman.
“Take a picture, it’ll last longer.” Taehyung utters before looking at him with an unreadable expression.
“I– there’s an eyelash on your cheek that’s distracting me. But sure, if it makes you happy, keep believing I was staring because you’re so gorgeous.” Jeongguk retorts, trying to cover his fluster.
Taehyung chuckles, shaking his head. “Gorgeous, huh? Sounds like you want me so bad, Jeon.”
Jeongguk pouts and turns away, trying to hide his blush from Taehyung. The lecture drags on at a tortuous pace and he can’t wait to leave, change into his suit and swing through the city.
The moment the bell rings, he rushes to the restrooms, ignoring Taehyung’s comment about Jeongguk’s bowel movements. He quickly changes into his suit and mask, making sure that no one else is there when he leaves the stall.
He exits the building through a window, breathing in the fresh air as he starts to think about where to go first. Just at that moment, he spots Taehyung leaving the building as well, all by himself.
Jeongguk hesitates, eyes on the man. Following him around for a bit wouldn’t hurt, right? After all, he needs to check the whole city anyway.
Deciding to be sneaky and discreet, he stays on higher buildings while keeping an eye on Taehyung, but the man seems to be busy playing on his phone anyway.
After a few blocks, Jeongguk starts to feel uneasy about his creeping. It feels oddly invasive to follow someone without a reason other than finding the person hot. But just when he’s about to change directions, he takes one last glance at Taehyung, who’s now walking into a construction site.
So instead of leaving, Jeongguk gets curious. Could Taehyung be a construction worker to cover his study fees? It’s a weird thought, but who is he to judge?
Still in the middle of trying to figure out what Taehyung is doing, he feels his spider senses going off alarmingly loud. Jeongguk quickly looks around to figure out what’s wrong, his eyes widening when he spots a pipe hanging from the crane, seeming anything but stable.
When, in the next moment, one of the ropes holding the pipe rips, Jeongguk curses under his breath. It’s a matter of seconds before the other rope will do the same, the pipe ultimately crushing Taehyung.
Without hesitation, he swings towards Taehyung, reaching him just in time before he hears the second rope rip. Due to the force of his swing, they land in a pile of sand and dirt, Jeongguk catching most of Taehyung’s weight.
Taehyung, startled, lets out a scream, his eyes wide with shock. Before he can process or ask what happened, they both watch the pipe plummet and crash exactly where Taehyung had been standing moments earlier.
“Oh sh!t, I’m–” Taehyung gulps as he looks back and forth between the pipe and Spiderman. “How did you even– Thank you, that would’ve crushed me..” He says in disbelief, slowly getting up and brushing the sand and dirt off himself.
“I was just in the area..” Jeongguk lies. “Are you okay?” He asks, inspecting Taehyung to see if he can spot any wounds.
“Yeah, yeah I’m fine.. But you swing fast. Not gonna lie, I kinda feel like throwing up just from those few meters,” Taehyung laughs awkwardly but Jeongguk still sees the fear in his eyes.
The hero chuckles softly. “Yup, but that was a bit quicker than usual. Had to make sure that pipe wouldn’t turn you into a smoothie.”
“That.. wouldn’t have been ideal, true. But are you okay? I landed on you.”
Jeongguk nods, ignoring the pain in his ribs, knowing it’ll heal and go away in a few hours thanks to his fast healing. “I’m fine, no need to worry.”
“Thanks again, really.” Taehyung sighs.
“You should pay more attention to your surroundings, and avoid construction sites. It’s risky to be on your phone like that.”
Taehyung tilts his head. “Oh, were you observing me, mister spider?”
“Mister w–” Jeongguk gulps, feeling caught, but he quickly clears his throat. “No.”
“Oh, you totally were!” Taehyung grins, biting his bottom lip. “I usually always take this shortcut home, but.. I’m not going to risk getting crushed again, I promise.” Taehyung gives an awkward smile, putting his phone away, and Jeongguk is surprised how he didn’t let go of it the whole time.
“Good, no more shortcuts. I have to go now. Be careful so I don’t have to save you again today, got it?”
“Got it.”
🕷️🕷️🕷️
“No, I’m telling you!” Jeongguk insists, his mouth full of cake as he tries another flavor. “Yesterday, he almost got crushed, I can’t believe how close it was.”
Hana chuckles, sliding another piece of cake toward him. “This one’s rhubarb vanilla. How’s it taste?” She asks, seemingly uninterested in Jeongguk’s dramatic retelling.
“Hey, remember the deal?” Jeongguk pouts, crossing his arms. “I taste-test your new cake flavors, and you listen to my rant about Taehyung. Also, this one’s good, but I’d cut back on the sugar in the batter. The icing is already super sweet.”
Hana nods, taking notes while Jeongguk samples the next piece. “You should be grateful my metabolism’s been working overtime since that bite or you’d have to find someone else to do this. And if you add a little more banana flavor, I’d even pay for this one myself.” He says, prompting Hana to laugh and write down his suggestion again.
“Alright, that’s the last one for now.” She says, closing her notebook and giving Jeongguk a questioning look. “So, you saved Kim Taehyung’s life, huh? I’d have let him get smushed, but what were you doing there anyway?”
Jeongguk laughs nervously, shrugging. “Oh, you know.. Spiderman has his eyes everywhere.”
Hana shakes her head in disbelief before throwing a pillow at him, Jeongguk effortlessly catching it thanks to his reflexes. “Idiot, I can’t believe you’re still into him!”
Jeongguk whines, burying his face in the pillow to muffle his frustrated scream before looking back up at her. “I’m not! It’s just.. complicated. I also met him as Spiderman two days ago, and he was really nice to me.”
“Well, duh.” She rolls her eyes, seemingly not convinced. “Who wouldn’t be nice to a hero with that bod in a skin tight suit? You should be glad I’m not into men or I’d be all over you.” She jokes, causing Jeongguk to chuckle before responding.
“Yeah, and you not having a d!ck might also be another reason why we’re not all over each other, Han.”
“So much for being a raging bisexual virgin - suddenly you’re in need of d!ck, huh? They’re ugly, don’t forget that.”
“I’m pretty happy with mine– ouch!”
“Bet your spidey senses didn’t see that coming.” She grins.
Waving her off, Jeongguk sighs and leans back onto the sofa. “You know I have a preference for guys. I mean, if anyone even wants me”
“Oh poor you.” Hana babies him sarcastically, squishing his cheeks. “No one loves my poor Jeonggukie. Maybe if you stopped being whipped for this dipsh!t called T–”
“Alright, enough about that.” Jeongguk interrupts her. “You have no idea how boring the last days were. I swear, I can forgive you for dropping out but if you also move out when your bakery becomes a hit and you leave me alone with Seongho, I’ll make Spiderman talk bad about your business.” He threatens her, still in need of recovery from not having his friends at uni, but Hana only giggles.
“You think I’d choose living alone over sharing this apartment with my lovely roommates? Never.” She shakes her head, taking a sip of wine.
“Guys, I almost died!” Seongho’s voice suddenly echoes through the apartment as he bursts through the dorm, kicking off his shoes while on his way to the living room.
Hana and Jeongguk exchange confused looks while Seongho tries to catch his breath.
“I just wanted to grab some mint chip ice cream from the store around the corner but–” He gasps, clutching his side. “People were being held at gvnpoint! I can’t believe they didn’t see me. I already called the police, but Gguk, maybe you should–” Seongho starts, but his words trail off when he notices the empty spot where Jeongguk was just sitting.
“On it.” Jeongguk’s voice calls out from across the room, and before Seongho can even blink, he’s gone. The window is wide open, the curtains fluttering in the wind while the sounds of Jeongguk’s web swinging become more quiet.
“He didn’t even finish his cake..” Hana mutters, shaking her head with a small smile.
“Priorities. Also, more for me.” Seongho sighs, collapsing onto the couch
Jeongguk’s eyes widen as he processes the scene in front of him.
He’s been coming to the store as long as he can remember, whether it was for late night study snacks or to grab something while patrolling the city as Spiderman.
Mr. Lee, the store’s owner, was always there, and the thought of anything happening to him makes Jeongguk’s blood run cold.
From his spot outside, he listens carefully, trying to make out the situation inside.
“Give us the money, old man!” A man’s voice barks.
Jeongguk is holding onto one of the walls outside the store, careful to stay out of sight, and peeks through the window. He counts two robbers, one with a gvn pointed at Mr. Lee who’s by the register.
His spider senses are on high alert, he knows the time is running out and that the robbers will get jumpy at the first sound of approaching sirens.
“Got everything under control?” The same man speaks up again.
“Yeah, yeah, just get the money before he hits the silent alarm.” Another man responds, probably from further back in the store, and Jeongguk remembers his best friend mentioning more than one person being in danger.
“Manseok, I swear, just shoot the–”
A sudden crash inside the store interrupts the man’s command, making Jeongguk’s heart skip a beat. He only has a clear view of the guy with the gun, and it’s risky to storm in blind, but with people’s lives on the line, he has no choice.
Jeongguk swings around the corner, rushing in through the door. He shoots a web at the armed man’s hand to disarm him, followed by another one, pinning the man to the wall.
Jeongguk grabs the gun and puts it away, planning to hand it over to the police later.
“Hey, Spiderman!” A familiar voice calls out, snapping Jeongguk’s attention away from the already captivated robber.
He turns, ready to confront the second culprit, only to find himself face to face with.. Taehyung?
“What are you doing here?” Jeongguk blurts out, baffled. “Please don’t tell me you’ve turned to a life of crime, I really don’t want to have to arrest you.”
Taehyung just grins, gesturing to the unconscious man sprawled on the floor beneath him. “I was here for some snacks when they showed up. This guy got distracted so..” He raises a frying pan with a satisfied smirk. “I decided to pull a Rapunzel.”
Jeongguk chuckles, picking up the second gun from the ground. “Well, the hair color’s already on point.”
Taehyung grins, tossing back his imaginary long hair with a dramatic sigh. “Right?”
Their joking around is cut short by the sound of approaching sirens, the flashing lights painting the scene in red and blue.
It doesn’t take long before they arrest the criminals and take statements from Taehyung and Mr. Lee. The store owner luckily seems to not have been hurt, but due to his age the officers decide to be safe and get escorted to the closest hospital.
“Thanks, Spiderman.” One of the officers calls out before driving off, leaving Jeongguk and Taehyung alone on the now quiet street.
Jeongguk turns to meet Taehyung, raising an eyebrow beneath his mask. “Really?”
Taehyung’s grin falters. “What? I didn’t do anything wrong! In fact, I defused the situation. You should be thanking me, actually.”
Jeongguk just sighs and shakes his head in disbelief. “First, you almost get crushed by a concrete pipe, and now, a day later, you’re in a store while it’s being robbed? You– You’re like a magnet for trouble, geez.”
Taehyung can’t help but smile a little, leaning against a lantern post. “Or maybe, the universe just likes seeing us together. Hey, you can’t say you don’t like seeing me so often. We’re practically friends at this point, no?”
“Friends?” Jeongguk repeats, not even trying to sound enthusiastic about it.
“Yup. So you should totally give me your number so I can call you the next time I’m in another life threatening situation.” Taehyung suggests teasingly, pulling out his phone.
Instead of taking the phone, Jeongguk ignores his request and extends his hand. “Come on, hold onto me.”
Taehyung looks at him, eyebrows furrowed and clearly taken aback. “What?”
“You think I’m going to let you walk home after all that? Hold onto me, I’m swinging you home.”
“Absolutely not.” Taehyung protests, shaking his head.
If there’s one thing Jeongguk is good at besides his superhero job, it’s convincing people. It’s impressive, really.
But the encounter on the construction site seems to have scared Taehyung so much that Jeongguk had to take matters into his own hands - literally - by scooping Taehyung up and swinging away with him.
“This is kidnapping! I swear, if you let me fall– please, I don't wanna d!e!” Taehyung whines, clinging onto the superhero, his eyes squeezed shut.
Jeongguk laughs, but feeling the elder tighten his grip around his waist causes a flutter in his chest. “You don’t want to d!e but you almost did twice in less than 24 hours? The hypocrisy..” He tsks.
Taehyung keeps his eyes closed, feeling like he might faint at any moment now. The cool air rushes past them, the speed of Jeongguk’s swings creating wind that completely messes up Taehyung’s hair - not that he cares at this point.
The elder can only imagine how incredible the view must be. After all, it’s not every day you get to swing through Seoul, but he can’t bring himself to take a look himself.
Each swing feels like a never ending rollercoaster, his stomach dropping with each swing while he silently prays for his dinner to not make a surprise appearance.
Every time Jeongguk lets go of a web and they freefall for a few terrifying seconds, Taehyung’s heart feels like it might jump out of his chest, only to calm again when they’re pulled up by another one.
Taehyung hears the sounds of traffic and honking below, making him appreciate not having to endure the bus ride home.
Trying to distract himself further, he suddenly becomes aware of not only how tightly he is holding onto Spiderman, but also how firmly Spiderman is holding him. Even with just one arm around him, Taehyung feels oddly secure.
He can feel the hero’s muscles tensing with each swing, then relaxing when they fall, which automatically makes him hold on tighter. Besides the fear for his life he’s feeling, Taehyung’s amazed by how effortlessly Spiderman swings through the city at such high speeds, as if it’s the most natural thing in the world.
For Spiderman it is, but Taehyung knows he’d never last a day in the hero’s shoes.
Curiosity finally gets the better of him, and Taehyung dares to peek through his eyelashes. The sight he’s greeted with makes him gasp, the city lights twinkling like stars, the cars looking like tiny dots far beneath them.
Taehyung didn’t realize how far up they really are, thinking it’s similar to what he sees on his roof, but it’s a view he’s never seen before.
He almost even starts to enjoy it, but the next drop is too long, too steep and he quickly shuts his eyes again, burying his face in the hero’s shoulder.
Eventually, the movements slow and Taehyung feels solid ground beneath his feet again. Hesitantly, he opens his eyes to find they’ve landed on the roof of his apartment complex, thank god.
He clears his throat, quickly fixing his hair and clothes. “That.. wasn’t so bad.”
Jeongguk can’t help but laugh. “Yeah, sure. Now get inside and text me when you’re safe in bed. Don’t go falling down the stairs.”
“If you gave me your number, I wouldn’t have to text you on Twitter–” Taehyung starts, pulling out his phone.
“Goodnight, Taehyung.” Jeongguk says, cutting him off with a smile before swinging away.
