Chapter Text
(Rodger is fiddling with an old camera. He glances into the camera, his eye widens, and he quickly moves offscreen. Now that he’s out of the way, the camera is seen to be filming what looks to be a talk show set, with purple wallpaper and wooden furniture making for a small set. Rodger quickly moves to a chair behind a desk, seating himself and clearing his throat.)
“Greetings. My name is Rodger. You might recall me as one of several characters on a show known as ‘Dandy’s World,’ or perhaps as one of the living mascots of the now-defunct ‘Gardenview Education Center and Museum.’”
(He pulls out a small, black remote, and clicks a button on it. The scene changes to an old photo of the building when it was in operation. Another click, and the scene returns to Rodger.)
“For those of you who do not recognize either of those names, search engines are always an option. But for those of you who do remember us, and wonder where we went… it is a complicated story, and trying to tell all of it right now would be a fool’s errand.”
“But I have devised a solution. Instead of trying to answer everything, I could simply ask you to send in the questions you have, directed to me or even the other toons down here. Simply send all your questions here-”
(Another click of the remote, and a P.O. Box flashes on screen.)
“-and I’ll send out another message as soon as I can. Until then.”
(Rodger clicks the remote again. The screen goes black.)
