Chapter Text
A hand burst from the earth and pulled by it a body, its feet unsteady and movement unsure. The clothes and hair of which was clear of dirt, for the dirt was not permitted to touch the garb granted unto it by its master. It stood and looked around, the clearing of the forest in which it stood small, but it was all that was needed.

A creature charged through the forest, brushing past trees and trampling the grass as it ran as fast as it could, with only one objective in mind. Breaking the treeline it saw its target, its next meal, the fool in the forest. With its claws to bare it went to grab the man in the clearing, but its hands were cut off before it could tear in.
‘This thing shall die before it harms the body granted to us by the king!’
He stared at the abominable creature, the hideous thing that would dare attempt to attack him, the thing that didn’t know its place. He stared at it. It seemed nervous, frozen in place, wanting to run but too scared to try.
He punched a hole in the fabric of space and drew from it a sword, forged by his creator, and with it he struck down the creature.
“Divine art: Smite. ”
Upon contact with flesh and bone unending power struck from the sky, engulfing the clearing and everything within, burning the very soul of the creature and turning its disgusting body to stone, leaving the man to be, leaving the angel to search, leaving the Emissary to fulfill his objective within these forsaken lands.
High in the sky a crow flies far, to alert its master of the anomaly’s appearance. And deep within the trees, a demon flees fast, to tell its would-be god of the potential threat.

The crow landed before its master who looked upon the skies, watching the clouds and enjoying the breeze. He looked down at the crow as it told him what was seen, the anomaly they’d found years prior had manifested, which meant a new potential threat.
The crow was dismissed and he pondered on what to do next, and decided he’d have someone go look for the anomaly incarnate. He called Kanae and gave her the mission, she was told to find the anomaly and if a threat, to kill it while young. She left running as expected and he returned to staring at the skies.

The demon ran and it ran and ran till it thought its legs would fail, and while it ran its location changed. From forests of trees to infinitely winding stairs, it stumbled from the sudden change of location and fell down in front of its master, the one who made it.
“Tell me what you saw.”
The demon was scared, its master knew and yet he still was brought here to tell of it.
“I saw a slayer in the forest, he pulled a sword from thin air and turned another demon to stone like it was nothing, it was something I’ve never seen! It was terrifying.”
“I see.”
The demon vanished with the plucking of a biwa string. The demon king had to eliminate this slayer promptly before the corps got a hold of him, and he knew the demon to do the job.
“Nakime, bring me upper two.”
The biwa resounded through the castle and kneeled before Muzan was upper two, the demon who would hunt down this unknown slayer.
“Doma, bring me the head of the slayer who turns demons to stone, no matter the cost. And expect Hashira as well.”
“Of course master, I will not fail you.”
With another note, upper two was gone, to hunt the slayer whom all underestimated.
