Chapter Text
The Jeon family is one of the most feared names in all of under ground Korea. They’re a ruthless, tactical, and very very good at hiding their illegal behavior from the law. The police hates them, citizens fear them, and every other gang wants to bring them down.
Jungkook was raised to become the head of the Mafia. His father raised both his older and him to be as ruthless as the rest of the family. However, his father especially trained Jungkook for he was to inherit the whole gang, while his older brother was to inherit the casino.
The Jeon Casinos.
The Jeon family ran a legit casino business which made it much harder to catch their dirty deeds since everything they did was by the books. Payed their taxes, payed their employees, kept the casino clean, kept their books up to date, everything that couldn’t give the police anything to get them with.
Jungkook walked into the casino, hand in his pocket with the most arrogant dangerous air around him. He was coming to a meeting with the heads of the family (his brother, father and grand father) and it was to be held in the VIP player rooms. Jungkook made it past the second set of doors when a shorter male approached him. The male stopped then bowed.
“Welcome, Young master Jungkook.” Jungkook smied, nodding his head.
“Yoongi, didn’t think Hyung would send you down.” Jungkook snickered, looking down at him. Yoongi straighten himself up, looking un amused but knew better then to open his mouth. Well, you think he would of known better.
“Yeah, unfortunately for me I had to come baby sit.” Yoongi muttered, making Jungkook laugh.
“Aw, don’t be that way.” Jungkook said, patting Yoongi on the back. Yoongi rolled his eyes as he shrugged away from him. Jungkook chuckled, sticking his hands back into his pocket. The two wondered farther inside the casino. The slot machines ring as different cheering and groaning could be heard by all around. Attractive serving staff wondered the floor with cocktails and people huddled around poker tables. Jungkook was chuckling, people watching as they roamed the casino floor to get to the elevators. “looking busy.”
“Always busy. Always rowdy and hectic and it gives me a head ache” Yoongi muttered, making Jungkook laugh.
“If it’s such a pain why don’t you just ask to transfer…“ Jungkook stopped as his words died on his tongue. While Jungkook was people watching his eyes scanned one of the poker tables and couldn’t keep believe what he saw.
He was gorgeous, he was absolutely gorgeous. Jungkook couldn’t rip his eyes away from him. Whoever he was, was smiling brightly at the head of the poker table, dealing the cards effortlessly and cleanly while the huddle of men played at his table. The male laughed as one of the males at the table said something to him after he dealt the new cards.
“Young Master?” Yoongi turned around, surprised when he realize that Jungkook never finished his sentence. When he turned around Jungkook was standing in one spot staring inside the casino in awe. Yoongi raised his brow, walking back to the gangster. “Young Master Jungkook?” Jungkook jump slightly whirling his head to look at the confused Secretary. Yoongi cocked his head to the side, “are you ok?” Jungkook cleared his throat as his right hand went to touch the hair on the back of his neck.
“I’m fine, nothing is wrong.” Yoongi raise his brow before he looked into the casino, trying to pin point where the younger boy was looking at. Yoongi smirked, eyes laying on a particular poker table.
“You can keep looking at Jimin, or we can head up to the meeting.” Jungkook eyes widen, looking at the smaller male in surprise. Yoonig amused look brighten as he turned away from the younger boy. Jungkook narrowed his eyes at him before he went to look at the boy, Jimin, again. Jimin bowed his head to a customer as he brightly smiled. Jungkook smiled, rubbing his nose as he wondered behind Yoongi.
“So, the Choi’s are trying to gain more weapons?” A gentleman, looking about 56 said curiously, looking at the cards in his hands. Jungkook nodded, looking at his own hand as he tapped the doge of the card.
“That’s what HoSeok reported.” Jungkook responded, eyes moving from the cards in his hands to the 3 other males in the room. Another male, about 78, hummed in thought as he coughed softly.
“Do you think that they’re going to start a war?” the last male, about 29, asked folding his cards on the table. The eldest male chuckled, throwing some chips in the pile in front of them.
“Jung Hyun ah, the war never ended.” the male spoke with a rusty voice, coughing slightly after his sentence. Jungkook smirked, raising the older male beat with his poker chips
“Just a quite period before shit hits the fan.“ Jungkook said, making eye contact with the older male, “and it looks like quite time is about to be up.”
“Right, so I believe we should up security around the casino.” Jungkook’s father said, playing with one of the chips in his hands as he fold his cards, “they may try to hit the casino in order for us to lose our business. Make sure no employees are spys and tighten regulations. We don’t need a slip up that anyone can use against us.”
“Yes father.” Jung Hyun said, bowing his head. Jungkook smirked cocking his head to the side.
“You’re not going to fold, skin rag?” Jungkook’s grandfather raise his brow before a soft cough escaped his lips.
“Players reveal your cards.”
Jungkook sighed, looking at his hand vs the cards from the older gentleman. Jungkook only had a straight, but his grandfather had a royal flush. His grandfather chuckled as the pile of chips got shoved closer to him.
“You’re to young to beat me, Jungkook ah.” Jungkook scoffed, a small smile playing on his lips.
“When I beat you I hope you have a heart attack, old rag.” His grandfather chuckled, letting one of the gang members pack his chips for him. Jung Hyun and Jungkook stood up, giving their bows to the older gentlemen.
“I’ll be in Japan for the next week.” Jungkook’s father said, tugging at his suit jacket, “remember to keep me updated.”
“Yes, Father.” The Jeon brothers said in unison. The older gentlemen left the room as the younger boys stayed, watching their family leave. Jung Hyun turned to Jungkook.
“Do you really think that the Choi’s will hit the casino?” Jung Hyun asked. Jungkook sighed, sticking his hands into his pockets.
“Not with guns, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they try to take out our high rollers or try to plant something so they could call the pigs on us.” Jungkook patted Jung Hyun’s shoulder. “All the action is going to be on the streets.” Jung Hyun turned to face Jungkook completely, a concerned look on his face.
“Promise me you’ll be careful Jungkook ah, things are about to get crazy.” Jungkook chuckled.
“I’ll be-”
“Jungkook ah.” Jung Hyun gripped his younger brothers shoulder tightly, staring him down, “you have to be careful.” Jungkook paused for a moment, studying his brothers worried face. Jungkook nodded, placing his hand on top of his brothers in a reassuring squeeze.
“I will.” Jungkook promised. Jung Hyun smiled, rubbing Jungkook’s shoulder.
“Good, good.” Jung Hyun patted Jungkook before slipping his hand away, “So, what are you going to do now?” Jungkook hummed, mind thinking. What’s the next move? Hit the Choi’s first? Buy more guns? Jungkook sighed, looking around the room, his eyes landing on the poker table. Jungkook smiled.
“I’m going to gamble.”
Gambling usually helps Jungkook think. He puts his decisions into his cards and plays them out. Typically if he wins, he’ll go with the idea, if he loses he’ll rethink his plan. It also is calming, the repetition of gambling relaxes his muscles and mind. Lose money, gain money, doesn’t really matter to him. His family owns the casino anyways.
Jungkook sat in the VIP room, silently looking at his cards. He was playing blackjack, a game he could play with out other players. Only him and the bank. Jungkook looked up to look at the dealer. The dealer was part of the gang, however, they’ve placed their members in the casino so they had eyes and ears every where. Jungkook placed his cards on the table a leaned forward, making eye contact with the dealer.
“I want to switch dealers.” Jungkook said, gently bouncing his cards against the blackjack table. The dealer was slightly taken back.
“H-huh?”
“I said, I want to switch dealers.” Jungkook said, voice getting harsher. The dealer looked at him in surprise and slight fear. The Jeons have been known to have a temper.
“Y-Yes Hyungnim.” The dealer bowed. Jungkook tossed his cards on the table as he leaned back in his chair. The dealer looked up. “Is there anyone in particular you would like, Hyungnim?” Jungkook smiled to himself, thinking back to the casino floor.
“Yeah, yeah I do.”
“Park Jimin shi.” Jimin looked behind him, seeing his manger SeokJin. Jimin bowed to him.
“Manger nim.” Jimin responded. Jimin was surprised to see SeokJin, considering mangers don’t usually approach workers while they were in a middle of a game. The customers at the table were curious and slightly annoyed at the sudden interruption. SeokJin looked at the customers at the table apologetically.
“Apologizes, but Park Jimin is being requested. We’re going to have another dealer running this table. Park Jimin shi.” Jimin was surprised while the customers at the table all groaned and voice their rejections. Jimin turned to bow at the customers apologetically before he was being lead away from his table while another co worker took his place.
“What’s going on Hyung? Am I in trouble?” Jimin asked, once away from the table. The Casino continue to ring with slot machines and the sound of chips being tossed. SeokJin looked over shoulder, a little concern on his face.
“You’ve been requested, Jimin ah.” Jimin surprise face didn’t change as confusion swirled with it.
“Requested?!” Jimin said in surprise, as the wondered into the employee hall way, “where have I been requested? By who? A VIP?” SeokJin sighed, turning to face Jimin.
“You’ve been requested by Jungkook shi.” Jimin blinked, confusion on his face.
“Jungkook?” SeokJin nodded slowly. Jimin furrowed his brow for a moment, letting the name bounce around in his head. Jungkook, why did that name sound familiar? Jimin cocked his head to the side as SeokJin let out another breath, pointing at the logo on the wall. Jimin turned to look at it, before his eyes widen as his brain started to click. Jimin turned to look at SeokJin in horror, “Jungkook, you mean Jeon Jungkook. Second son to the Jeon Casino. That Jeon Jungkook!?”
“Jimin, calm down.” SeokJin shushed him, placing a hand on his shoulders, “He is just playing Blckjack and he is by himself-”
“I’m going to have to be in a room alone with him!?” Jimin whispered harshly, horror still on his face, “Hyung, one wrong move and I’ll get shot.” SeokJin sighed, shaking his head.
“He isn’t going to shoot you, Jimin.” SeokJin comforted in a strong tone. “He only plays for about two hours then he leaves. He doesn’t stay for a long period of time.”
“Two hours, I’ll be alone with him for two hours!?” Jimin was in a panic. Jimin wasn’t stupid, he knew what and who the Jeons were and very aware of what they could do. They had power, they had money, and they had men. Lots of them. The Jeons were someone you wouldn’t want to get mixed up with and Jimin was perfectly fine not ever having to come in contact with them. Jimin wouldn’t even have taken this job if he had any other choice. However, the casino pays well. With Jimin’s father dead, mother bed ridden, a grandmother and a younger brother that needs to be put threw school, Jimin needed a good paying job.
“Look, you’re going to get paid double in those two hours since you’ll be a VIP dealer. You did say you needed more money.” Jimin fell silent, biting his lips softly. He really did need more money, his brother is about to graduate high school and he needs to be able to send him to college. SeokJin rubbed his shoulders. “Just two hours Jimin, just two hours. Deal normally and stay calm.”
Yeah, easy for him to say. He isn’t putting his life in danger. But, he is getting paid double, and Jimin could really use double.
So here he was, standing in the dealers position for the one and only Jeon Jungkook.
Now, Jimin has seen the Jeon a couple times, and that was only with quick glances. Now, he can stand and admire the man that has him on his toes. Jungkook was young, probably a year or two younger then himself, he had a strong gaze, strong jaw line, thick yet slim neck, collar bone like a god, he was sitting down but by how his head hovered over the table Jimin could tell he was tall. His white t shirt wasn’t that tight but you could still tell that the kid had muscles on him, especially his thick arms. Jungkook was handsome and if Jimin was in any other situation or Jungkook wasn’t a Jeon, Jimin would flirt like he does with the other customers. But, he was a Jeon and Jimin needs to stay alive.
Jungkook knew he probably should stop staring but he just couldn’t. He just couldn’t. Jimin was about the most adorable and beautiful person he has ever seen. Jimin had some baby fat one his cheeks, oval nice eyes, pretty plump lips, long eyelashes, a slim yet thick neck, the rest of him was covered by his green uniform, but even then Jungkook could tell Jimin had some muscle. Such a shame Jungkook’s eyes couldn’t go farther down, cause he swore when Jimin entered he had some yummy honey thighs on him. The only problem right now is that Jimin wasn’t all smiley like when he saw him on the casino floor, actually, Jimin seemed a little nervous and slightly uncomfortable. Jungkook frowned, looking down at his cards. Well, he figured Jimin knew who he was and as worried about getting fired or something. Jungkook tapped the table with his hand.
“Hit me.” Jungkook said, leaning back in his chair. Jimin bowed before he slid another card towards the Jeon. Jungkook looked at his cards in small though as his hands went from his hand to Jimin to back to his hand. Jimin was stiff, nibbling on his lip softly as he rubbed his fingers. Man, it was so nerve racking. Jungkook tossed a couple black chips ($100) into the pile as he placed his hand down.
♠2, ♦5, ♣9. Total 16.
Jimin hestantily lifted his cards up. If Jimin gets cards that add over 16, then he’ll beat Jungkook. Last thing he wants is a pissed off Jeon who would probably shoot him if he loses a game. And he could probably get away with it too, man Jimin such is in a stuff spot. Umma, Halmeoni (Grandma), Min Jung ah, take care of yourself when I’m gone. I love you all so much.
♥ 3, ♥ 9, ♥ 2, Total 14.
Jimin let out a silent breath as a small relief smile danced on his face. Dealer lost, Jimin lost, Jimin gets to live.
“Dealer loses, player wins.” Jimin said, happier then he or Jungkook expected. Jimin effortlessly took out the amount of betting chips from his pile to place in front of Jungkook. Jungkook cocked his head to the side, in awe and slightly amused by Jimin’s happy smile.
“I’ve never seen someone so happy about losing before.” Jungkook chuckled, making Jimin jump slightly. Jimin smile fell as he rub the back of his head.
“I’m always happy when someone wins.” Jimin froze. If someone wins then they take money from the Casino. From the Jeon’s. From Jungkook. Jmin felt panic wave over him, “n-not that I like the th-ought of people taking your money, of course. I-It’s more like a… encouragement for them to gamble more?” Jungkook raised his brow as Jimin seemed to become more flustered. Oh damn looks like this is it for me, I love you Umma, Halmeoni make sure you get money from the company, Min Jung ah please get in to SKY.
“Do you think I’m going to hurt you?” Jungkook’s question brought Jimin out of his telepathic thought to his family to him. Jungkook had a frown on his face as he seemed a little sad. Jimin blinked, a light embarrassed blush making way to his cheeks.
“Y-yes, I mean no. I-I mean… maybe.” Jimin whispered the last part. Jungkook frowned deepen as his eyes shifted to the chips on the table. A soft scoff passed his lips. Jimin is scared of him, something that usually boost up his ego was now making him slightly upset. This wasn’t how he imagined this would go when Jimin got brought in here. Jungkook thought there would be flirting, smiles, winks, suggestive talk and maybe get some action on the blackjack table (and get yelled at by Jung Hyun for staining a table), not Jimin being scared shitless of him. The only time Jimin has smiled in the past 10 minutes was when he thought he didn’t make Jungkook mad and wasn’t going to get hurt. Jungkook eyes went back up to Jimin’s panic ones.
“I’m not going to hurt you, Park Jimin shi.” Jungkook said, folding his arms on the table in front of him. Jimin blinked in confusion. Jungkook sighed, his hand to go play with the black chips in he pile next to him. “I didn’t request you to deal so I can beat you up.” Jimin mouth parted slightly. He completely forgot that Jungkook specifically requested him to deal. Jimin cocked his head to the side.
“Why?” Jimin asked before the thought could be reexamined in his brain. Jimin’s eyes widen as Jungkook’s eyes went to lock on his. Jimin panic features were back on his face as he started to stutter. Jungkook stopped playing with the chips before folding his arms on the table once again.
“Because, I think you’re pretty.”
Oh. Jimin’s eyes were replaced with surprise as he looked at Jungkook. Oh.
“W-What?” Jimin brained died as he started to comprehend the words Jungkook said. Jimin’s cheeks started to redden as Jungkook couldn’t stop a small amused and doting smile to appear on his lips. Man, was this guy adorable.
“I think you’re pretty, that’s why I requested you to be my dealer.” Jungkook repeated. Jimin mouth widen as words jumbled together. Did Jeon, Jeon Jungkook just confess into thinking that he was pretty. Jeon Jungkook thinks he’s pretty. Jungkook softly chuckled, shifting to get up from his seat, making Jimin flinch slightly. Jungkook cocked his head to the side, “since it’s normal for people to be scared of me, i’ll leave for today. But tomorrow, i’ll be doing a full session.”
“Y-you’re going to request me again?” Jimin asked in surprise. Jungkook smirked, leaning his palms against the blackjack table as he leaned towards Jimin. Jimin’s eyes widen as he slightly moved his head back in surprise, his cheeks getting redder. Jungkook eyes went to look at Jimin’s lips before his eyes went back up to Jimin.
“I am.” I want you to know that I’m not bad. Jimin blinked as Jungkook smirk melted into a smile. “I’ll see you tomorrow, lovely Jimin.” as Jungkook left the room like that, leaving the chips on the table as he walked with a swagger only the Jeon family could have. Jimin let out a breath he was holding as he placed a hand over his beating heart. Jeon Jungkook thinks he’s pretty, Jeon Jungkook thinks he’s pretty?!
“Oh my god.” Jimin whispered, placing a hand over his cheeks.
Jimin wasn’t quite sure if having a Jeon like you was worst or better then them hating you.
“What do you think you’re in? A drama?” Jungkook rolled his eyes at his best friend, Kim Taehyung. Taehyung shook his head, “I know it’s the Jeon style to be straight forward and ruthless but damn, seriously? Probably scared the shit out of him.”
“That’s why I’m going back tomorrow, to make him less scared of me.” Jungkook said, hitting his pool stick against the white ball to hit the green #3 ball into one of the shoulder pockets. Taehyung shook his head, leaning against the billiards table.
“I don’t see why you’re going through this trouble for a dude you’re going to sleep with once then never talk about him again.” Jungkook gave another annoyed sigh, looking up at his best friend. Taehyung rolled his eyes. “Oh please, like it’s going to be different from all the other guys you slept with.”
“All the other guys were practically throwing themselves at me Taehyung.”
“So, now you’re going from gangsters to good boys, whoopie doo. All it is a little more of a challenge and you Jeon’s are so damn competitive.” Jungkook hit the white ball again, hitting the orange #5 ball and barley missing the pocket. Jungkook sighed, looking over at Taehyung.
“You know, I didn’t want this to turn into you telling me how to live my sex life.”
“But, I’m your best friend.” Taehyung chimed, positioning himself behind the white ball, “and I’m here to meddle in it. Just make him sleep with you and get it over with.” Jungkook narrowed his eyes at his best friend.
“You know that is not the Jeon ways of doing things.” They may be mafia, but the Jeon family isn’t some uncivilized gang of hooligans. They have morals of their own. They may damage your house, take your money, kill your dad, but the moment anyone tries to force anything sexual on someone else you become black listed by the Jeons and are sentence to death. This applies to everyone in the mafia, even the main family can be punished by this law. Many times Jungkook has seen his father pull the trigger on members for raping someone. Let’s say rape isn’t part of their culture and if you wanted to do that join another gang.
“Right, right. because gangsters can have some morals.” Taehyung said, hitting the white ball but missing the blue #4 ball. Taehyung groaned before looking over at Jungkook, “speaking of gangsters, there is a rumor that the Choi’s are buying guns left and right.”
“That’s what Hoseok said.” Jungkook made his way behind the white ball, angling himself behind it. “The quite phase is over.”
“We’re still the strongest.” Taehyung said, “It’s foolish that they’ll attack, since we triple their size.”
“Yeah, but their hope is to become the strongest. So they want to take us out with guns.” Jungkook chuckled, hitting the white ball into the #5 ball into one of the pockets, “however, just having pretty guns won’t knock the Jeon’s off our throne so easily.”
“Gotta have a clever leader.” Taehyung said. Jungkook nodded, looking at the balls on the table.
“And, loyalty.” Taehyung smirked, poking Jungkook with his pool stick gently. Jungkook jump and narrowed his eyes at the older male. Taehyung just chuckled.
“Loyalty, is that why you wanna hook up with this good boy of yours?”
Maybe, maybe not. Even Jungkook doesn’t really know why, but all he knows is that Jimin is really, really pretty. But also is really, really scared of him.
True to his Jeon word, Jungkook was back in the VIP room and Jimin was back in the dealer position. Now, Jimin seemed more awkward then before. Jimin didn’t even look at Jungkook as he dealt the cards and chips. Only speaking about the game. Jungkook furrowed his brows, wasn’t Jungkook telling Jimin he;s cute suppose to make the male more comfortable around him, why is he more nervous?
“You’re more nervous then yesterday.” Jungkook stated, making Jimin jump slightly. Jimin eyes met with Jungkook’s as a small blush dusted his cheeks.
“A-am I?” Jimin responded with uncertainty. He wasn’t really sure what to say to the Jeon. Jimin is a little more scared then before because oh god the Jeon’s have their prides and having one of them like you is terrifying. What if you hurt their feelings, break their heart, or worst, they ask you on a date. Or sex. Or both. Jimin was tossing and turning all night with these thoughts swirling in his head. His tossing got so bad his younger brother chuck something at him to make him stop.
“I already told you, I’m not going to hurt you.” Jungkook sighed, rubbing his eyes. Jimin pouted slightly shifting his eyes away.
“Just cause you say it, doesn’t mean anything.” Jimin muttered under his breath. Jungkook stop rubbing his eyes to shoot daggers at Jimin.
“Are you questioning me?” Jimin jumped, cowering a little bit. I’m really dead this time! Umma, Halmeoni , Min Jung ah, I love you guys so much.
“S-sorry, sir.” Jimin whimpered. Jungkook felt frustration bubble in his stomach. Shit, he only made Jimin more scared.
“No, no. Don’t be scared.” Jungkook sighed, rubbing his face. This was a mess. Jimin stop his cowering, observing the youngest Jeon curiously. Jungkook seemed frustrated, but also flustered. Jungkook sighed softly, picking up his cards and patting the table. “Hit me.” Jimin blinked before he slowly moved to the deck of cards.
“R-right.” Jimin responded, sliding the card towards Jungkook. Jungkook looked at his hand before tossing more chips into the center. Jimin watch in small confusion. Wasn’t he going to pull out a gun and shoot him? Jungkook placed the cards on the table.
♣ 5 ♥ 8 ♦ 4 , total of 17.
Jungkook beat the dealer again. Jimin shyly picked up the chips from the bank and gave the pile to Jungkook. Jungkook hummed, taking the pile to add to his own.
“Do you have family?” Jungkook asked as Jimin went to sweep up his cards. Jimin froze, panic filling his blood stream. Oh god, he’s asking about family. Shit, he’s probably going to kill them all. Jungkook saw the slight panic on Jimin’s face and sighed, “ok, how about you’re favorite food?” Jimin stayed frozen for another reason. What? Jimin blinked as he slowly slid the used cards into the discard pile.
“Meat.” Jimin responded slowly, still a little in shock. Jungkook chuckled, moving to toss more chips into the center.
“Meat. What type of meat?”
“I… don’t really have a preference.”
“I really like duck meat.” Jungkook stated, smiling softly, “though, I think beef comes a close second.” Jimin blinked in confusion. What is happening right now? Jungkook crossed his arms on the table as he leaned in slightly, making Jimin hold his breath. Jungkook’s eyes shifted to the deck of cards before he looks back at Jimin. “Are you going to deal?”
“O-oh. Sorry, customer nim.” Jimin stuttered out, hastily dealing Jungkook his two cards. Jungkook cocked his head to the side as he kept smiling at Jimin, he was kinda cute when he’s flustered. Jimin finished dealing the cards and smiled awkwardly. “There you go.” Jungkook hummed, lifting up his cards but never let his eyes move away from Jimin’s.
“You know, you have really pretty eyes.”
For a a months Jungkook came to the casino every day for two hours to play blackjack with Jimin. It took a two weeks for Jimin to stop being so scared and jumpy but he was still uneasy. Jimin started to respond to Jungkook’s questions with out hesitation or worry and smiling more often during their sessions. God, Jimin had the most beautiful smile. Jungkook will find himself thinking about the older boy a lot as he rode in the car or hung out with Taehyung.
“You two still haven’t banged yet, it’s been a month.”
“Shut up Tae.”
Jimin, man Jimin was happy. Jimin didn’t know how he could handle being in that room but when he got his check and saw that it almost doubled in size he almost cried in happiness. Jimin was able to start putting money away for college for Min Jung and pay all his bills off. If his checks kept looking like that, Jimin wouldn’t mind entertaining the Jeon for moments longer. But, slowly, Jungkook wasn’t seeming like bad company anymore and Jimin started to enjoy having Jungkook around.
“You seem happier now a days Jimin ah.”
“I’m always happy being around you, Halmeoni.”
“No, there a different glow coming off you. A special type of glow.”
Neither of the boys knew it yet, but they were slowly falling. Falling for one another. Jungkook falling faster then Jimin, as he kept being memorized by every thing the older boy did. Jimin on the other hand, was slowly realizing that Jungkook wasn’t really a bad person, and maybe he was wrong to jump to the conclusions that he did. Maybe, it’s only been a month.
“Player has 18, dealer has 10, player wi-”
“Do you want to get dinner?” Jungkook asked, cutting Jimin off. Jimin stopped collecting the chips as he looked at Jungkook in shock. Jimin blinked.
“What?”
“Get dinner, You and I? There is this awesome duck met restaurant around the corner.” Jimin couldn’t shake off his confusion. Did Jungkook just ask me out on a date? Jungkook cocked his head to the side with a amused expression. “I didn’t say date, but if you want it to be one that’s fine with me.” Jimin cheeks turned red, guess he said it out loud and not int his head. Jimin went to cover his cheeks in embarrassment.
“Stupid mouth.” Jimin muttered to himself. His heart was pounding while his leg twitched. Seriously, couldn’t Jimin’s mouth just stay quite, always voicing his concerns. Stupid mouth, stupid brain. Jungkook smiled, playing with one of the green chips as he watched Jimin become flustered. Seriously, this guy was cute.
“You never answered me.” Jungkook stated, keeping his eyes locked on Jimin. Jimin froze as his eyes made contact with the Jeon. Jungkook other hand went to rub his neck hairs as he kept playing with the chip with the other, “do you want to go out to dinner?”
Jimin was freaking out in his mind. Dinner equals date right? Date can lead to kissing, or even sex! Or, what if Jungkook is just saying dinner when actually Jimin is going to show up and Jungkook would cut him up and throw him in a stew!? What if he gets there and Jungkook forces him to join the Jeon family!? Jimin doesn’t want to be in the mafia! Jimin can barley kill a bug with out crying over how sorry he was. In the midst of his mind panic, he studied Jungkook in hopes to get a clearer understanding. To Jimin’s surprise, Jungkook seemed hopeful, nervous, and a little flustered, rubbing his hands over anything that can calm his nervousness. Jungkook looked like a kid asking out his crush.
“Yes, I do.” Jimin answered, again his mouth going with out talking with his brain first. Jimin felt his cheeks darken as he mentally ripped his own mouth off. Jimin was so screwed, so screwed. Jungkook nervousness faded as a large, genuine smile graced his lips. Jimin was slightly taken back, observing the happy gangster. Jungkook let out a happy sigh, throwing some more chips in the pile.
“Great.” Jungkook cocked his head to the side as his smile never faded, “I’ll pick you up at ten.”
“I don’t get off till eleven.” They both fell silent, making Jimin nervous. Jungkook chuckled, picking up a red chip.
“Jimin, don’t you remember who I am?” Jungkook said, keeping eye contact with Jimin, “This is my family’s casino, you’re going to be off by ten.”
Jungkook tossed the red chip into the pile.
“A date!?” SeokJin exclaimed as quietly as he could. Jimin nodded, eyes widen and cheeks flushed. Jimin covered his cheeks.
“I know, I’m so screwed.” Jimin muttered in shock. SeokJin sighed, hand going to rub Jimin’s shoulder.
“Jimin ah, maybe it’s not that bad. Jungkook nim could really like you.”
“And that’s a good thing?” Jimin whispered. SeokJin hand went to rub behind Jimin’s ear, caressing Jimin’s brown hair.
“Jimin ah, the Jeons are many things. They have a temper, they have pride, but they’re also very, very loyal. They also don’t play around, if Jungkook likes you then he does.” SeokJin said, rubbing soft circles into Jimin’s skull. Jimin shifted his eyes and did a soft pout.
“Have you even been on a date before?” Taehyung asked sitting in the back of the car with Jungkook. Jungkook rolled his eyes, shuffling the cards in his hands.
“How hard can it be? You take someone to dinner, you talk, you walk them home.” And, maybe a kiss good night. Jungkook smiled, thinking of a shy Jimin pursing his lips so Jungkook could claim a kiss from him. Taehyung narrowed his eyes at his best friend.
“You are really going great lengths just to get laid.”
“Why do you think I just want sex from him?” Jungkook snapped, looking at Taehyung in annoyance. Taehyung’s eyes widen as he lifted his hands to point a finger at Jungkook.
“You actually like him, don’t you!?” Taehyung teased. Jungkook felt his cheeks heating up as he dropped half the deck in the back seat of the car. Taehyung roared in laughter as he started to nudge, “oh man! Little Jungkookie is in love!”
“I’m not in love with him.” Jungkook replied, picking up the cards from the floor in a fast manner. Taehyung kept laughing, patting Jungkook’s back in hard slaps.
“Oh man,Jungkook washed up in love at twenty three. Who knew this day would come?!”
“Shut up!” Jungkook hissed in embarrassment, swinging a arm to sock Taehyung in the stomach. Taehyung hunched over, but his laughter was still evident through his pain. Jungkook cleared his throat as he tried to cool of his heated cheeks, “any news from HoSeok?”
“Trying to change the subject huh?” Jungkook narrowed his eyes, “well, HoSeok said that they’re going around. I think they might be trying to recruit people. Especially people who owe them money.”
“So, in exchange for forgetting about their debt, they need to join the gang to fight against us.” Jungkook chuckled, “well, that’s one way to grow your army.”
“Yeah, nothing like immature fighters to win a war.” Taehyung chuckled, shaking his head. Jungkook rubbed his thumb over the deck of cards as he stared out the window.
“Yeah, but that can’t be the only thing. They can’t win with just numbers. They must have another plan brewing.”
Jimin sighed, closing his locker door. It’s about nine-fifty and he got let off. In ten more minutes he’ll get picked up to go on a date with Jungkook. Jimin’s cheeks flushed red as he softly groaned. He was nervous, he didn’t know what to expect or what to mentally prepare for. Everything he guessed.
“You’re going to wear that for your date?” Jimin yelped, turning around to see SeokJin standing behind him, hands in his pocket and eye brow raised in judgement. Jimin let out a breath as a hand went over his chest to calm his beating heart.
“Hyung, you scared me.” Jimin sighed. SeokJin chuckled, looking over Jimin’s wardorb again.
“Not putting much into it, huh? You look tacky.” Jimin frowned, looking down at his cloths, He wore a blue hoodie, black jeans, and a pair of sketchers. Jimin looked up at his manger and friend. Jimin huffed.
“Well, it was kinda short notice. Not like I had time to go home and change or anything.” Jimin muttered, fixing his sleeve. SeokJin chuckled, walking over to fix Jimin’s hair.
“Sorry, Guess I should have let you off sooner.” SeokJin said, Jimin groaned pulling away to lean on his locker.
“I’m going to be hanged.” Jimin groaned. SeokJin chuckled, patting Jimin’s chest.
“I’ll make sure to pay for your funeral.”
“Park Jimin shi.” Jimin and SeokJin whirled their heads around to see Min Yoongi standing in the entrance to the locker room. Both Jimin and SeokJin bowed.
“Greetings, secretary Min.” Jimin and SeokJin both stood straight up and folded their hands in front of them. Yoongi eyes shifted to the youngest one in the room, his blank expression not moving an inch.
“Come with me, Park Jimin shi.” Yoongi said before turning around. Jimin held his breath as he looked at SeokJin with worry. SeokJin held up his fist in the ‘fighting’ manner before pushing Jimin forward. Jimin kept looking back at SeokJin worry as he followed Yoongi out the employee locker room.
“You’re nervous.” Jungkook stated, looking at Jimin who sat beside him in his car. Jimin jumped in his seat, looking at Jungkook in surprise.
“H-huh?” Jungkook frowned, slowing the his red Lamborghini down to stop at the red light. Yes, Jimin was completely nervous, it was one thing to be alone at the Casino with Jungkook, but to be alone with him out side of the casino was heart pounding. Jimin was vulnerable to anything out here. Jungkook felt like they were back to square one, with Jimin being uncertain and him trying to show him he wasn’t there to hurt him. Jungkook sighed, pushing on the petal once the light turned green.
“This restaurant is really good. The duck here just melts in your mouth.” Jungkook stated, driving along the road. Jimin blinked, thumbing the hem of his sweater.
“O-oh. That’s good.” Jimin responded. Jungkook looked over at Jimin before his eyes went back to the road. Jungkook smiled to himself before looking back over at Jimin.
“You know, you look really cute in your regular cloths.” Jungkook said, watching a soft blush cover Jimin’s cheeks. Jimin whirled his head to look at Jungkook in surprise.
“You don’t think they look… tacky?” Jimin asked, looking down at his clothing. Jungkook smile grew as butterfly’s swirled in his chest. Jimin was worried about his appearance, and that made the Jeon boy glow. Jungkook hand went up to brush some of Jimin’s short hair out of his subconsciously. Jimin breath hitched as his eyes widen, body freezing in shock.
“No, I think you look amazing.”
Jimin shifted his head to look at Jungkook. Jungkook’s voice was soft and honest as his eyes mirrored his voice. Jimin felt his cheeks reddening as his heart pounded butterfly’s all over his body. Jungkook, was serious. Jungkook kept smiling, shifting his head to look back onto the road as Jimin subconsciously gripped his sweater over his heart. Jungkook, he was serious.
Dinner went over nicely. Jungkook did most of the talking as Jimin tried to reply the best he could. Jimin was still nervous, unable to really predict what the Jeon would do, while random butterfly’s swirled his stomach. Jimin calmed down once the food was set in front of him and couldn’t believe duck meat could taste so good. Jungkook would smiled, watching Jimin devour his plate of food with a content look.
“Is it good?” Jungkook asked at some point in the night. Jimin smiled, chewing on his piece of duck meat. Jimin swallowed as he reached for another piece.
“It’s delicious.” Jimin responded, picking up another piece, “I bet Min Jung ah would enjoy this.”
“Min Jung?” Jungkook asked. Jimin nodded, eyes glazing over in thought as he softly smiled.
“My little brother.” Jimin said, adoration in voice. Jungkook couldn’t help but smile back, reaching for his glass of water.
“Your younger brother?” Jimin nodded, placing his chop stick on his plate as he couldn’t keep his smile off his face, thinking of Min Jung.
“Yeah, He’s in senior year. Can you believe that? I feel like I was walking him to kindergarten yesterday and now he’ll be going to college.” Jimin smile never left his face and Jungkook couldn’t help but feel memorized by it. Jimin smile faltered for a moment as his eyes lowered to the meat on the grill. “He’s such a strong kid.” Jimin whispered. Jungkook eyes went to travel over Jimin’s face before he looked down at the duck meat too. Jungkook went to look back up at Jimin who seemed to be lost in thought.
“Let’s take some to go.” Jimin jumped out of his thought to look at Jungkook. Jungkook smiled, tapping his chop sticks against the meat. “We’ll take a set to go. That way you can share with your brother.” Jimin’s eyes widen.
“Oh, oh no. I couldn’t let you-”
“I’m your boss Jimin.” Jungkook chuckled, grabbing a piece of duck meat from the grill, “you can’t ‘let me’ do anything.” Jimin frowned.
“You’re not really my boss though.” he muttered, making Jungkook chuckle.
“I’m still a Jeon, that makes me your boss.” Jimin frown turned into a pout. Seriously, most adorable person in the whole world. Jungkook smiled, “I’m sure Min Jung ah would enjoy having some duck meat. Let’s take some to go.” Jimin fell silent, looking at Jungkook.
“Are… are you sure?”
“Either you accept it, or I’ll fire you.” They both fell silent. Jimin shifted his eyes down as he poked the duck meat on his plate. That’s a nice gesture from someone that’s so renown to be ruthless. Jimin bowed his head, surprising Jungkook.
“Thank you, Jeon nim.” Jungkook frowned, laying his chop sticks on the plate.
“Jungkook.” Jimin eyes shifted up in shock. Jungkook eyes hawk eyes were on Jimin’s. “Call me Jungkook.”
Jungkook pulled into a small grocery store parking lot. Jimin unbuckled his seat belt. Jungkook furrowed his brow as he sighed.
“I’m sure this isn’t your house.” Jungkook stated. Jimin turned to face Jungkook.
“The streets are very narrow, I wouldn’t want your car getting scratched. My neighborhood wasn’t designed to have people drive around.” Jimin said, opening the car door. Jungkook unbuckled his seat belt and open his door too. Jimin gathered his back pack and the box full of duck meat from the back seat as Jungkook traveled around the car to get to him. Jimin gently closed the door before turning towards Jungkook and bowed with a small smile. “Thank you, you know, for dinner.”
“It was my pleasure.” Jungkook responded, feeling butterfly’s in his stomach for the thousand time to match every time Jimin smiled. Jimin himself felt small butterfly’s as they kinds stood awkwardly, just staring at one another. Now what? Jimin cleared his throat.
“Well, I guess I’ll see you tomorrow.” Jimin said, bowing once again. Jungkook took a step forward, a small panic filled his veins. Jungkook didn’t know why, but he didn’t want Jimin to leave.
“I’ll walk you home.” Jungkook stated, making Jimin jump in surprise. They both just stared at each other for another awkward moment. Jimin smiled nervously.
“I-it’s alright. You don’t have too.” Jimin said, rubbing the edges of the box in his hands as he shifted his eyes down. “I already owe you for dinner, I can’t possibly let you-”
“You don’t owe me anything Jimin.” Jungkook stated, a small amount of pain in his voice. Did Jimin really believe that Jungkook only wanted to pin him in debt? Jimin eyes shifted up, in mild surprise.
“But-”
“I wanted to take you out. You don’t owe me anything.” Jungkook cut him off, sounding a little desperate. Desperate for Jimin to understand he has no ill intentions, he wasn’t messing with him, he just wanted to see him. Jimin fell silent, eyes roaming over Jungkook’s figure. What Jimin was looking at, he wasn’t quite sure, but his heart was beating faster with each pump. Jimin grip on the box tighten as he swallowed thickly.
“At least, let me pay back for the to go order.”
“Jimin, I said-” Jungkook froze as his breath hitched. Jimin took a couple steps forward, got on his toes to reach up and place a small peck on Jungkook’s cheek. Jungkook felt his insides swirling as his heart trembled in his chest. Jimin, Jimin just kissed him. Jimin pulled back in surprise.
Oh my god Jimin, what did you just do?
Jimin started to chuckle nervously as he back away slowly. He wasn’t sure where that came from, or why his body felt the need to go and kiss Jungkook but fuck he did it. Oh boy, was his body trembling in panic and butterfly’s. Jungkook collected himself as Jimin back away. Jimin cleared his throat.
“U-Uh. Sorry.” Jimin bowed once again, trying to get out of the situation as fast as possible. Stupid mouth, stupid, stupid mouth, “I’ll leave first.” Before Jimin take another step back Jungkook had gripped his wrist, keeping him still. Jimin let out a soft yelp as he flinched slightly. Stomach turning and fluttering at the same time. Jungkook kept his eyes locked on Jimin’s as he pulled the smaller male closer to him.
“That set costed ₩ 57680.” Jungkook stated, pulling Jimin as close as he could with the box in between them. Jimin fell silent, having his eyes locked with Jungkook’s. Jungkook’s eye lowered down to Jimin’s lips before going back up to his eyes. “You’ve only payed back ₩ 11536.” Jimin felt his breath hitch, watching as Jungkook slowly lean towards him. His body started to tremble and if Jungkook wasn’t holding his hand he probably would have dropped the duck meat set. Jungkook felt his own body trembling as his breath started to mix with Jimin’s.
The moment came. Their lips touched and it felt like electricity. They both slightly gasped as both of their grips tighten. Jungkook had his eyes closed as he memorized every line in awe. Jimin’s lips were warm, soft, and moving against his. Jungkook felt butterfly’s in his stomach. Jimin was kissing back. Jimin eyes had closed as his body kept fluttering. His mind was blank as he only focused on the younger boys lips. Jungkook moved his lips against Jimin’s as he held Jimin in place, however, it wasn’t like Jimin was going anywhere. Jimin and Jungkook kept their lips together as moved their heads to try to deepen the kiss. There they stood, in front of the small store with their lips locked and no thoughts of moving came to mind.
“Wow, you’re so whipped.” Taehyung stated, watching as Jungkook had the goofiest smile on his face as he held the ace of hearts in his hands, rubbing it in small strokes. Jungkook let out a happy sigh, leaning back in his chair.
“You should of seen how adorable he looked while eating.” Jungkook stated, thinking to last night, “how his chubby cheeks poked out when filled with food. How his eyes lite up with every piece of meat.” Taehyung rolled his eyes.
“Oh god, I don’t want to hear it.” he groaned, making Jungkook chuckle lightly as he placed the ace of hearts down on the desk in front of him. Taehyung looked at Jungkook. “Did you two at least fuck?” Jungkook fell silent as he scrunched up his nose.
“No, we didn’t.”
“You didn’t get any yet you’re over here giggling like a school boy?!” Taehyung shook his head. Jungkook narrowed his eyes at him.
“There is more to relationships then just sex.”
“So you two are dating now?” Jungkook feel silent, shfting his gaze away as a small frown danced on his lips. Taehyung raise his brow, “so, is your Facebook status say your taken or is it under ‘it’s complicated’?”
“Shut up Taehyung.”
“This duck set is daebak!” Min Jung exclaimed, shoving another bit of meat into his mouth. Jimin smiled, fixing his hair in the mirror as he got ready to head to the casino.
“I’m glad you like it.” Jimin said, walking in to the kitchen area. Jimin’s grandmother and brother both stuffed their faces with glee. Jimin placed a few pieces of meat on a plate before standing up.
“Don’t eat it all at once. We can stretch it out over the week.” Jimin scolded, watching as Min Jung place more meat on the grill. Min Jung pouted, flipping some meat.
“But, it’s so good.” Jimin shook his head before rubbing his brothers forehead.
“Stop shoving your face and get ready for school. You’re going to be late.” Jimin said, standing up with the plate of meat. Min Jung frowned.
“Hyung.”
“Listen to your brother Min Jung ah.” Jimin’s grandmother said, wrapping up the rest of the duck meat to put away in the fridge. Jimin pointed a finger at him.
“Yeah, listen to me brat.” Jimin stuck his tongue out at his brother while his brother stuck it back out at him. Jimin smiled walking out the kitchen area to slide open the door to one of the side rooms. Jimin smiled softly, letting his eyes fall on the figure laying on the mat. He back was prop up against a pillow against the wall as she held a book with shaky hands. Her graying raven hair was down to her shoulders as her eyes were a light brown. Though aged, she was still beautiful. Jimin smiled walking further into the room. “You should really use the pillow to help you hold your book, Umma.”
“Jimin ah.” The woman, Jimin’s mother, looked up a soft smile gracing her lips. Jimin sat on the floor, holding the duck meat towards her.
“You should eat some, before your son eats it all.”
“Maybe in a little bit.” His mother spoke softly, folding her book closed. Jimin smiled softly, placing the duck meat on the floor next to her bed.
“You should eat it while it’s warm. So eat it soon.” Jimin’s mother nodded, he hand reaching for Jimin’s. Jimin met her half way and laid his hand on her lap. Her thumb lazily stroked the back of his hand.
“You’re such a good son, I’m sorry I can’t be more of help.” she said. Jimin shook his head as a pained smile graced his lips.
“I told you Umma, just worry about getting better.” Jimin lifted up her hand to kiss her knuckles, “I don’t mind being the bread winner.”
“Halmeoni told me you’re saving money again.” Jimin frowned. The old lady just can never keep her mouth shut. His mother shifted her hand out of his grasp so she could rub his cheek softly. Jimin leaned into her hand as his hand went to hold her wrist to support her arm. “What are you saving for this time?”
“Min Jung needs to be sent to college.” Jimin said, rocking back and forth in his mother’s hand. His mother sighed softly, moving her hand up into Jimin’s hair.
“You’re taking so much responsibility. Jimin ah, make sure you’re living your life as well. I worry you’ll end up alone.” Jimin smiled, rubbing his thumb into his mothers wrist.
“Please, with this face? No way.” Jimin’s mother chuckled softly, smoothing the brown locks under her hands.
“Yes, my handsome son.” her hand smoothed back down to Jimin’s cheek, “my burdened son. I’m sorry for being such a mother.” Jimin shook his head, shifting so he could wrap his arms around his mother carefully.
“Don’t say that Umma. You’re a great mother. I wouldn’t trade you for any other mom in the whole universe!” Jimin said with sincerity, holding his mother in his arms. His mother chuckled, rubbing his his back in light strokes.
“How did I end up with such a good son?” She asked, letting Jimin pull away. His mother cupped his face and leaned to place a loving kiss on her son’s forehead. Jimin closed his eyes, feeling the warmth of his mother’s touch. She pulled away and rubbed his cheeks. “Be careful on your way to work. Make sure to look both ways before you cross the street, make sure your wallet is deep in your backpack, and-”
“- avoid bad people. I know umma. You’ve been telling me that for twenty five years.” Jimin smiled, pulling away to fix her covers and picking up a small pillow to place on her lap. His mother watched him with a adoring smile as Jimin fixed up her bed. Jimin placed her book on the pillow before he leaned up to kiss her forehead. “Make sure you eat that meat before it gets cold umma. I’ll be leaving.”
“I will, be safe Jimin ah and get a boyfriend.” She smiled, watching as Jimin walked out the room backwards, sending her kissy faces. His mother chuckled as her hand went to the necklace wrapped around her neck. A gift from Jimin’s passed father. “make sure he is safe, yebo.”
Jimin closed the door behind him and left out a soft sigh. Min Jung and his grandmother were cleared out the room as dishes were drying on the counter. Jimin smiled, rubbing the back of neck.
“Boyfriend… huh?”
“Player 14, Dealer 16, House wins.” Jimin stated. Jungkook was just staring at Jimin as he collected the cards and chips. Jimin put the cards in a discard pile while he organized the chips into his chip holder. It’s been a good thirty minutes and they were awkward. Now what? What were they? Were they a item? Were they not a item? Was it a one time thing? Were they a secret thing? Jimin slipped one card out of the card holder to slide towards Jungkook. Jungkook reached out, gripping Jimin’s wrist, making him freeze. Jungkook cocked his head to the side as he waited for Jimin to make eye contact with him. Jimin did, mirroring Jungkook’s expression. Confusion, thought, wonder.
“Did you…” they both stared at one another as both their heart beats started to speed up. Jungkook swallowed, “Did you give your brother some duck meat?” Jimin fingers curled as he felt butterfly’s in his stomach.
“Y-yeah. My family had some this morning.” Jungkook nodded, his grip never faltering.
“That’s good. I’m glad they enjoyed it.” They both fell silent again, staring at one another. Jimin let of a soft nervous chuckle as he slowly pulled his hand away.
“Yeah, Min Jung really-” Jimin was cut off by Jungkook pulling him as close at they could be with a table between them. Jungkook stood up and leaned forward, making Jimin hold his breath. Jungkook stopped a couple inches from Jimin’s face as they stared at one another. They both kept looking between each others lips and eyes. Jungkook grip tighten as he locked eyes with Jimin.
“You make me so nervous all the time.” Jungkook whispered, making Jimin’s eyes widen as his heart skipped a beat. Slowly, Jungkook started to lean forward, and Jimin slowly closed his eyes. It wasn’t long till Jimin could feel Jungkook’s breath on his lips.
“Jungkook nim!”
The bust open and with the noise Jimin jumped away in fright, pulling his hand out of Jungkook’s grasp. Jungkook tighten his fist as he shot the most murderous glance at who ever dared ruin their moment. The gang member stood still as a shiver ran up his spine. Why was Jungkook so mad?
“Jungkook nim.” The gangster responded. Jungkook leaned off the table and crossed his arms.
“You better have a good reason on why your bugging me.” Jungkook hissed, making both Jimin and the gangster shutter.
“Well sir… it’s about NamJoons unit sir.” The gangster said a little distraught in his voice. Jungkook looked at the male curiously.
“What about NamJoons ui-” Jungkook’s eyes widen, “son of a bitch.” Jungkook started to head out the room. Jimin watched with concern as Jungkook face switch into panic and concern.
“Jungkook?” Jimin voice made Jungkook stop, swirling around to look at the concern dealer. Jungkook frowned, as a soft sigh escaped his lips. Jungkook turned towards the gangster and move his head towards the door. The gangster bowed before leaving the room. Jungkook took hurried steps towards Jimin.
“I’m sorry, I have to go.” Jungkook said, getting closer. Jimin furrowed his brow as he took one step towards Jungkook.
“Is everything alright?” Jimin asked, as Jungkook closed their distance. Jungkook shook his head, unable to really lie to Jimin.
“I don’t think so. I don’t have time to explain, I have to get going.” Jungkook said, looking down at Jimin. Jimin frowned in concerned.
“Jungkook?”
“I’ll be back later.” Jungkook swooped down, claiming a peck from Jimin’s lips. Jimin jumped in surprise, but Jungkook was so quick he didn’t have to respond. Jungkook pulled away before turning to rush out the door. Jimin watched with a red surprised face, touching his mouth.
“Then suddenly, people started to fire. No one survived other then NamJoon nim.” The gangster said, following Jungkook through the casino. The noises to loud for anyone to over hear the conversation between the two.
“How you told grandfather about this?” Jungkook asked, looking back at one of the Jeon members. The gangster nodded his head.
“Yes.”
“Is NamJoon stable?”
“Yes, NamJoon is stable, but still unconscious.”
“Shit.” Jungkook said, opening the door to get out of the casino, “fucking Choi.” Jungkook hurried towards his car, opening the door as the gangster got in on the other side.
“Everyone is meeting at the main building.” he said. Jungkook looked over at him as he took his car out of park.
“Got it.”
Jimin sat in the employee lunch room, rubbing his bottom lip as he thought about the VIP room. Jungkook looked so upset and concerned. Jimin frowned, feeling upset too.
“I hope nothing awful happened.” Jimin whispered.
“So this is were you are.” Jimin jumped, swirling around to look at his manger. SeokJin. Jimin blinked before he bowed in response. Seokjin sighed, pulling out a chair beside him. Jimin eyes wondered over SeokJin before he leaned up in his chair.
“Has anything bad happened, you know, in the mafia?” SeokJin eyes widen as he looked at Jimin in shock. Jimin shifted his eyes away, “It’s no secret that management here is part of the gang. So you must know what happened.” SeokJin sighed, crossing his arms on the table.
“I figured you would be curious. The news did interrupt your session.”
“So, what happened?” Jimin asked, getting closer to SeokJin. SeokJin sighed, looking around the empty room before getting closer to Jimin.
“You’re aware of the Choi’s right?” SeokJin asked. Jimin nodded his head slowly.
“Yes, their the other mafia group right?”
“Yes. Well, they’ve been buying guns and military weapons for the past month.” SeokJin explained in hush tones, “They are planning on starting a gang war, and they just hit one of our units down Daegu. Everyone but the unit leader died.”
“That’s horrible.” Jimin whispered, eyes widening. SeokJin nodded.
“So, now the Jeon’s are having a emergency meeting. Mostly planning on what out move is. Most likely we’re going to come out shooting guns.” Seokjin sighed, leaning down. “There is probably going to be a up in security as well.” Jimin’s eyes widen.
“You think they’ll come here!?” Jimin asked. SeokJin sighed rubbing his temples.
“I don’t think with guns, but they might come in to try to plant something or steal something. They want to take the Jeon’s down, so they’ll do anything.” SeokJin stated, crossing his arms. Jimin frowned rubbing his hands together.
“Is Jungkook going to be safe?” Jimin asked, thinking of the Jeon. SeokJin couldn’t fight his smile as he leaned up in his chair.
“Hul~ is Jimin in love with bad boy Jungkook?” Jimin blushed, looking at SeokJin in surprise.
“I-I, N-no.” SeokJin smile widen, leaning back as a chuckle echoed out of his throat. Jimin blush darken as he turned his head away with a huff, “I don’t know.” SeokJin raised his brow.
“You don’t know?” Jimin groaned, letting his head fall to the table with a light thump. SeokJin chuckled, leaning forward to run a hand through the younger boys hair, “ah, to be twenty five and washed up in love.” Jimin blush darkened as a pout formed on his lips, making SeokJin laugh. Jimin let our a huff, turning his head around so he was facing away from his manger. Jimin’s pout turn into a frown, seeing a picture of a duck on the wall of a million pictures.
I hope you stay safe, Jungkook.
“These men, took our family. I personally want to go in and shoot every single one of their brains out.” Jungkook stated, voice filled with venom. Jungkook’s father sighed, leaning on the table.
“Jungkook, they want us to lose our cool. they want us to be mad to the point we mess up. We can’t fall into their trap.” His father said.
“We’re all upset about what happened in Daegu.” Jung Hyun stated, looking at Jungkook, “but we if we can’t come up with a better plan we’ll lose more family.”
“Your brother is right Jungkook, we have to be more tactical then them.” His father said. Jungkook scoffed.
“So your saying we let them live?”
“They will die, Jungkook shi.” Jungkook’s grandfather’s voice ran in the room, making everyone’s eyes go to him. “but, you have to remember they’ll have traps waiting for us. They have some plan they’ve been working on to take our thrown. If we’re messy, they’ll win. We have to be one step a head. They will not only die, they’ll be obliterated.”
“So, what should we do?” Jungkook asked looking at the older males. His father sigh.
“We get guns.” His father said rubbing his hands together, “arm ever man. I don’t want one family member with out a gun. As of right now, I want any Choi member dead on site. You see one, you kill them.”
“Wait if they hit another one of our units?” Jung Hyun asked.
“Have a buddy team system set up. A back up unit for every unit we have. If they attack again, then we’ll have double the man power over them.” His father ordered. Jungkook eyes narrowed at the table. He couldn’t stop the anger bubbles boiling inside him, how dare they take away his family members! Jungkook wanted to walk out and shoot up any Choi gang hot spot till they all died. Jung Hyun fixed his tie.
“What should we do about the casino?” Jungkook eyes shot up to look at his brother. The casino. Jungkook eyes widen. His father crossed his arms.
“Like last meeting, double on the security, add more members in the employee line. I want as many of us in the casino as many of us are on the streets. The more eyes and ears the better. We don’t want anyone hitting the Casino.” he said. Jungkook tighten his fist as he bit his lip.
Jimin.
“Be careful getting home now.” Jimin smiled, looking back at one of the valet boys.
“I will, good night.” Jimin smiled back, waving his hands goodbye at the employee. Jimin let out a soft sigh, looking up at the clear sky. A gang war, that never sounds good. Jimin frowned as he kept walking, keeping his eyes up on the skies. “I hope Jungkook will stay safe.” Jimin let out another sigh as his hand went to caress the bottom of his lip.
Jimin felt really stupid. Why was he worrying over someone who lived that life. Wasn’t he scared shitless by Jungkook a month ago? Now he is all worried about him and thinking about him. Jimin sighed, running a hand through his hair. One kiss and he suddenly has fallen? Jimin thought that was ridiculous, one kiss shouldn’t make him so fluttery or worried about someone. he wasn’t that desperate. Jimin let out a huff as he furrowed his brow.
Jimin never considered that maybe, he actually liked Jungkook before the kiss and just realized it afterwards.
Jungkook didn’t come in the next day, making Jimin nervous and worried. Jungkook wasn’t hurt, right? Then, Jungkook didn’t appear for a week and Jimin just couldn’t calm his nerves. More then once did Jimin mess up on the casino gambling tables or got a order wrong when he was put on cocktail severing. Jimin couldn’t stop thinking of Jungkook and couldn’t stop his worrying.
“You seem so on edge, Jimin ah.” His mother said, watching her son bring her a bowl of soup. Jimin smiled nervously.
“I’m fine, Umma.” Jimin stated as even as he could as he placed the serving trey in front of his mother. She narrowed her eyes in question, obviously not believing him.
“Are we behind on a bill?”
“No, no.” Jimin shook his head, sitting back on his heels. “we’re paid on everything.”
“Then what’s been bothering you?” She asked, her hand going to comb her son’s brown locks. “You’re doing that face, the one that your father always made. The ‘i’m worried about something but I don’t want anyone else to worry about it’ face.” Jimin sighed, as his mother’s hand went to rub soft circles into his scalp.
“It’s just… he hasn’t shown up for over a week.” Jimin said, closing his eyes and letting the comfort of his mother fingers wash over his tense muscles. His mother look at her son curiously.
“Who?”
“Jungkook.”
“Whose Jungkook?” Jimin fell silent, letting his mind wonder again to the Jeon. He felt his heart flutter as worry turned in his gut.
“I don’t know.”
Jungkook showed up the next day and Jimin felt the relieved, seeing the youngest Jeon walk through the door, not even caring about the small crowd that followed behind him. Jimin was cocktail serving at the moment so he hovered around the casino floor and caught a glimpse of him as he went to ring up a drink order for a couple of the guest. Jimin couldn’t fight his smile as he stopped in the middle of the casino. Jungkook seemed aggravated as his usually limp arms shoved wrist deep into his pockets were balled up at his sides. Jimin frowned.
“ They are planning on starting a gang war, and they just hit one of our units down Daegu.”
Jimin eyes kept following Jungkook’s movements. Jungkook kept his stoic face as he made his way through the casino. Walking at a fast pace that was easy to do with his long legs but made the people behind him struggle to keep up. Jimin took a couple steps towards the Jeon till he felt a hand on his shoulder to stop him.
“Don’t approach him right now.” Jimin whirled his head around, surprised to see SeokJin. Jimin blinked, furrowing his brow. SeokJin let out a sigh before glancing towards the Jeon. “Things are getting really stressful in the underground scene.” Jimin frowned.
“Did someone else get hit?” Jimin asked. SeokJin sighed, rubbing Jimin’s shoulder.
“Jimin ah, its war.” SeokJin said, pulling his hand away. “It’s not a question of who got hit, its how many.” Jimin frown deepen, his eyes following the Jeon who made it to the elevators, clicking the buttons.
“It’s horrible.” Jimin said, watching as the doors opened for Jungkook. Jungkook walked into the elevator door by himself, turning around to click the button. it was only hen the Joen looked up from pushing the button did he see Jimin standing on the casino floor. The doors closed faster then any of them wanted.
“Go on break, come back in a hour.” SeokJin said, walking up to Jimin who was filling up a trey full of drinks. Jimin gave a small smile.
“Sure thing, I’ll go on break after I drop these off at table 34.” Jimin said, balancing the trey of alcohol on his right hand. SeokJin nodded as he looked down at the piece of paper in his hand.
“Make sure you clock out after you drop those off.” Jimin nodded, walking into the casino. People were wondering around as there were many slot machines and gambling tables to choose from. Jimin easily swayed threw the crowd to make it to one of the tables in the middle of the casino. Jimin’s smile brightened as he approached the table.
“Here you go.” Jimin chimed, setting the drinks in front of the males playing poker. They all cheered as they watched Jimin place drinks down. “Here’s some whisky, a bottle of soju, jack and coke for you sir.” when Jimin reached the end of the table, the male gripped Jimin’s wrist, making both Jimin and the dealer jump in surprise. The male, about 35 and drunk, gave Jimin a drunk smile.
“You should have a seat.” The man reeked of alcohol as his grip tighten on Jimin’s wrist. Jimin flinched, trying his best to pull his arm away.
“Sorry, customer nim. I’m working right now and I’m afraid there is no more room on this table.” Jimin said, trying to get out of the customers grasp with out causing a scene. The customer smirked, pulling Jimin closer to him, causing the employees to jump. He smiled.
“You can sit on my lap.” Jimin felt his body bubble in panic as he looked to the dealer. The dealer looked at him in worry as his hand shifted to under the table. Buzzing for security. Jimin kept his uncomfortable smile as he tried to pull back as far as he could.
“Please let me go, I have to get back to work.” Jimin said, trying again to get his arm free. The customer tugged on Jimin again.
“Your job is to please me.” Jimin flinched, feeling the male tighten his hold on him. Why was security taking their sweet time? Jimin tried to pull away again but the customer kept his hold on him. “Now, sit down.”
“Customer nim, please let go.”
“Sit do-” a new hand came in between them, ripping the males hand off of Jimin’s wrist. Everyone at the table whirled their heads around to meet eyes with a very pissed on Jeon. Jimin’s eyes widen in shock, seeing Jungkook standing next to him. Jungkook wan’t facing Jimin and only kept his hard gaze on the man who dared harass Jimin.
“Jungkook?” Jimin whispered in surprise, he wasn’t expecting Jungkook. Jungkook narrowed his eyes at the drunken male.
“He isn’t interested, stop being a fuck boy and drop it.” Jungkook hissed, tossing the males arm on the table. The drunk customer narrowed his eyes at Jungkook as he scoffed.
“And who the hell are you?” he hissed back. Jungkook narrowed his eyes as the drunk male stood up from his seat threateningly. Jimin’s eyes widen as a small amount of customers around their area got quite, watching the drama unfold. Jungkook balled up his fist as he took a protective stance towards Jimin.
“I’m not in the mood. Sit your ass back down before you look like a bigger idiot.” Jungkook responded. The male growled as he wobbled in place. He was really tipsy.
“You son of a bitch.” The drunk male hissed, balling up his fist. Jimin felt panic bubble up in his stomach, oh no, were they going to fight? Jungkook grind his teeth, he was not in the mood to play with this drunk man. Luckily, security came over, grabbing the drunk male by his arm and stopping the situation. Jungkook commanded that he get thrown out and banned from the casino as he reached for Jimin’s wrist. Jimin felt his whole arm tingle at the sudden contact, letting Jungkook drag him away.
Jungkook dragged Jimin into a empty hallway that was only employees were allowed to enter. It was dead for the most part, everyone being on the floor or in the break room. Jungkook turned around, facing Jimin. They both just stared at one another for a heartbeat. Jimin feeling relived that Jungkook was alright, while Jungkook couldn’t get over how nice it felt to see Jimin again after a stressful week.
“Are you alright?” Jungkook asked, his grip on Jimin’s wrist not letting up. Jimin smiled softly, nodding his head.
“Yeah, I’m ok.” Jimin shifted his eyes, “thank you for stepping in, even thou-”
“I missed you.” Jungkook cut Jimin off, surprising the older male. Jimin blinked as Jungkook stared at him with unwavering eyes. Jimin’s cheeks dusted pink as he couldn’t help the flutter in his chest. Jungkook’s eyes shifted to the sleeve under his fingers and started to rub his fingers against it. “I’m sorry I haven’t visited. Things have gotten a little busy and I needed to focus.” Jimin nodded softly, just staring at Jungkook.
“I understand.” Jimin whispered, making Jungkook look up at him. Jimin frowned, studying Jungkook’s face. There was a light scratch under his left eye, while his both of them had light dark circles under them and his lip had a tooth imprint from biting it to much. Jimin subconsciously raised his hand to rub Jungkook’s cheek, surprising both of them. Instead of pulling away, Jimin kept messaging his thumb against the rough skin, smoothing it out under him. “You look so stressed, you need to take care of yourself.” Jungkook’s hand went to grip Jimin’s wrist as his tired eyes soften.
“You were worried?”
“Yeah, I was.” Jimin responded, Jungkook felt a burst of warmth inside his body as he couldn’t fight a smile. He turned his head slightly, just enough so he could place a soft kiss inside Jimin’s palm, making the smaller boys breath hitch. Jungkook looked so relaxed now, eyes closed as a soft even breaths escaped his nose. Jungkook opened his eyes, looking at Jimin as his hand traveled up from his wrist to lay against Jimin’s fingers.
“When this war is over.” Jungkook started, making sure Jimin’s eyes were locked n his before he continued. Jimin felt his heart pounding as Jungkook rubbed his thumb against his. “I want us to-”
“And so, like, that oppa was like, so.” Both Jimin and Jungkook’s eyes widen, one of the employee rooms opening as the sound of female workers exiting the room filled the hall way. The two girls entered the hall way, deep in their conversation that they didn’t notice the janitor door shutting.
Jungkook’s back was pressed against the door as one hand was on the handle while the other hand was wrapped around Jimin’s waist. Jimin was pressed against Jungkook, ball hands balled up in a fist as they laid against Jungkook’s chest. They both were silent, listening. They girls foot steps were getting farther away as the chime of their laughter echoed quieter and quieter. Jimin let out a breath he didn’t know he was holding while Jungkook let of a sigh soft. After a heat beat, the two looked at one another. A light blush dusted both of their faces as Jimin pulled away slightly.
“S-sorry.” Jimin said nervously, feeling his heart beating painfully in his chest. Jungkook arm tighten around Jimin’s waist and pulled him closer. Jimin eyes widen as his cheeks darken, being flushed up against Jungkook for a second time.
“Why are we hiding?” Jungkook asked softly, making Jimin cock his head in confusion. Jimin blinked before furrowing his brow.
“I…I don’t know.”
“You were the one who pulled us in here.”
“I don’t know, I just…” Jungkook’s hand released the door knob to go cup Jimin’s face, making Jimin jump in surprise. Jungkook thumb went to rub Jimin’s cheek, every stroke made the older boys heart flutter.
“I don’t want to hide, Jimin.” Jungkook said, being memorized by the huge eyes looking up at him. Jungkook arm tighten his grip around Jimin’s waist as he leaned closer. “Will you wait for me?” Jimin eyes held confusion as he cocked his head to the side towards Jungkook’s hand.
“What?”
“It’s to dangerous right now.”Jungkook whispered, “But I honestly want to be with you.” Jimin’s eyes widen as his throat started to dry.
“Jungkook.”
“Will you wait for me?” Jungkook asked again, his thumb halting its rubbing action to stare into Jimin’s eyes. Jimin felt conflicted, to wait for Jungkook? Does that mean Jungkook wants him? Like dating? But he’d be dating the next boss of the mafia and Jimin didn’t want to get mixed in with that. What if someone finds out and targets him? Or worst his family? But then again, Jungkook wants to wait till its safe. But could he ever be safe with Jungkook? It feels really safe right now, being in Jungkook’s arms.
“I will.” Jimin responded, voice barley above a whisper. Jungkook smiled, a huge genuine smile as he pinned Jimin as close as he could against him.
“Jimin.” Jimin stay silent, looking up with his big beautiful eyes that made Jungkook melt inside. Jungkook leaned down, closing the distance with every inch. “I really, really like you.”
Jungkook pressed his mouth against Jimin’s. Jimin eyes were wide as his cheeks darken. Jungkook, Jungkook just confessed. Jimin eyes fluttered shut as he felt his whole body rolling with warmth. Jimin messaged his lips back against Jungkook’s as he pushed himself closer. Jungkook’s hand went from cupping Jimin’s cheek to wrapping his arm around Jimin’s neck, trapping him so he wouldn’t move. Jungkook wanted to stay in the moment forever. Jimin gripped Jungkook’s shirt tightly as his body fluttered.
They stayed in the closet like that, letting their lips play as they gripped one another. Though people could say they were moving to fast, but honestly it didn’t seem like they were going fast enough. Jungkook held Jimin tighter as he moved his head so he could deepen their kiss.
Once this war is over, I want you to be mine.
“Fucking brat.” The male that got thrown out of the casino grumbled, stumbling around in his drunken state. He spat on the ground before he shook his head in disgust. “Fucking Jeon bastard. I have a right to have that pretty cock tail waiter’s ass to sit on my lap, but no, just cause he owns a fucking casino he thinks that he can but in and ruin my chances of getting some.”
“And who is this pretty cock tail server?” The drunk male turned around to see three males standing behind him. Two of them held bats while the one in the middle wore a suit. The drunk man blinked suspiciously.
“Who are you?” The male in the suit chuckled, walking closer to the male.
“Some one more then willing to help you.” he said, flashing a charming yet dangerous smile, “I can remove the Jeon, while you can get your pretty server.”
“How are you going to do that?” the drunk man asked. The suited man smirked, placing a hand on the other man’s shoulder.
“Don’t worry about that, just give me information. I want to know who this server is.”
“Jimin ah. Your cheeks are pink.” Jimin’s grandmother stated, watching as Jimin walked up the path to the house. His grandmother was watering some plants, she always said it best to do it during the night so the sun doesn’t steal it. “Are you getting sick?” Jimin smiled, a soft nervous chuckle escaping his lips.
“It’s nothing.” love sick, but Jimin didn’t want to voice that, still to early. His grandmother narrowed her old eyes as a soft hum escaped her lips.
“You look like your father when he first met your mother.” she stated, making Jimin jump in surprise.
“W-why would you say that?”
“Cause you do.” she chuckled, moving closer while wiggling her eye brows. “Is it this Jungkook guy?” Jimin’s cheeks got redder as his eyes widen. His grandmother laughed softly as Jimin lips formed a pout.
“Can’t tell anyone in this house anything.” Jimin muttered shifting his eyes to the garden that his grandmother was tending too. His grandmother waddle over, her arms going to rub Jimin’s tense ones.
“Your mother would be pleased to know you like someone. She’s been worried that you’ll never date. To busy taking care of everyone else to focus on yourself. She’ll be thrilled to know you’re dating.” she said, making Jimin sigh.
“We’re not even dating.”
“Are you sure?” his grandmother smirked, poking Jimin’s bottom lip, “because this swollen lip tells me other wise.” Jimin eyes widen as his face officially turned the darkest shade of red any human could experience as his grandma wiggled her eye brows. Jimin covered his face as he pushed past her in embarrassment.
“ Halmeoni !” Jimin cried, voice meeting his embarrassment as his grandmother laughed watching her grandson run into the house. She chuckled, shaking her head as she went back to watering her plants.
“Yup, just like his father.”
Jimin went to work the next day, being as normal as he could. He did his job, smiled and nodded his head like he usually would. Jungkook didn’t come in that day, making him a little sad but he continued on. He may not see Jungkook again for a while anyways, he did want the war to be over before they started anything. Jimin sighed, his table was empty, one of the rare moments during a shift were people went to the slot machines then the actual tables. Jimin ran a hand over the chips in the holder as he sighed again it’s been two weeks since the last time he has seen Jungkook.
“You look bored.” Jimin eyes shifted up to see a party of three. Jimin smiled, break time is over.
“Not anymore. Welcome customer nims.”Jimin bowed as the three males took a sit at the table. Jimin smiled, shuffling the deck an sliding it into the card shuffler then locking it in to the card holder. “please place your bets.” the three tossed in 5 green chips as they kept their eyes on Jimin. Jimin felt a shiver run up his spine, but he kept a warm smile on his face. The main guy cock his head to the side as his eyes lowered.
“It’s hard to believe such luck. Having such a cute dealer…” The male trialed off, obviously reading Jimin’s name tag, “Jimin. Can’t believe your table was empty.” Jimin smiled, passing out the cards.
“Yeah, maybe because fate wanted me to deal for you.” Yes, Jimin is really corny, but it usually makes the customers happy. And if their happy they gamble more and that’s what the casino wants. Also, Jimin’s already gotten two raises because of his happy customers so it never hurts to flirt more. The male chuckled, looking at his cards.
“Fate indeed. My name is Chin-Hwa.” he smiled, tossing a blue chip into the pile. Jimin smiled.
“Nice to meet you.”
“I can’t believe how attractive you are.” Chin-Hwa stated, eyes roaming over Jimin, “The Jeon’s sure are lucky to have someone so attractive running their tables.” Like I haven’t heard this line before.
“I think I’m more lucky to be your dealer.” Jimin responded, placing his cards down. Chin-Hwa chuckled, leaning on the table.
“With your looks, I wouldn’t be surprised if any of the Jeons fell for you.” Jimin couldn’t fight his lips twitching into a guilty smile, thinking of Jungkook. Jimin chuckled softly, shaking his head.
“I doubt it, I barely see them around.” Jimin lied, he didn’t really want to share his situation with Jungkook with a complete stranger. Chin-Hwa studied Jimin for a moment before his smirk came back on his lips.
“Right. I’m sure you don’t.”
“Be careful on your way home.” SeokJin said, watching as Jimin gathered his things from his locker. Jimin smiled, bowing to his manger.
“I will. See you tomorrow.” Jimin said, swinging his backpack on his shoulder. SeokJin smiled back before watching Jimin wonder out side. Little did SeokJin know, that’s be the last time he would see Jimin.
“Has Jimin come back home yet?” Jimin’s mother asked, watching her in law move around the room with a dust pan. Jimin’s grandmother shook her head.
“I’m sure he is fine dear.” the oldest woman responded, “he probably in some wild romance with Jungkook right now.” Jimin’s mother smiled while she shook her head.
“ Halmeoni.” she chuckled, fingering her blanket. “I don’t know how to feel about you talking like that.”
“That’s probably what happened dear.” Jimin’s grandmother said, fixing Jimin’s mother’s covers. “The only reason Jimin wouldn’t call is because he’s be to tied up with someone else.”
“Do you really think so?” Jimin’s mother frowned, holding her necklace, “I just have a strange feeling in the pit of my stomach.”
“I’m sure he is fine.”
“Jungkook.” Jungkook snapped his head up from staring at the table, looking at a annoyed Taehyung. Jungkook blinked before sitting straight up.
“Huh? What?” Taehyung sighed, poking Jungkook in the head.
“What’s wrong with you?” he asked, “you’ve been really spacey for the past hour.” Jungkook sighed, rubbing his eyes.
“Sorry.” Jungkook muttered, looking up at Taehyung, “any news on anything?”
“No, HoSeok hasn’t reported anything new.” Taehyung said, crossing his arms. “It’s strange, isn’t it?”
“What?”
“How quite it is today. It’s about 1am and nothing happened all day.” Taehyung stated, “for over the past week there was some form of movement, now its just quite.”
“They’re planning something.” Jungkook stated, looking out the window. The night was cloudy as people roamed the streets. Jungkook frowned, his hand going to play with his neck hair. Something didn’t feel right.
“There going to be a meeting again tomorrow right?”
“At the casino.”
“Hey.” Jungkook whirled around to look at his best friend. Taehyung studied him with a frown, “what’s up with you?” Jungkook let out a soft sigh, the hand going from his hair to his chest, rubbing the fabric above his painfully beating heart.
“I down know.”
Jimin woke up, his head was hurting worst then he imagined. He blinked slowly as he felt the side of his face sticky. Jimin went to rub his face, only to realize that his hands were tied. Jimin’s eyes widen, trying to move his arms only to feel the ropes burn his wrist. Jimin looked around, seeing nothing but concrete walls and flickering lights. Jimin felt his body heating up in panic and confusion.
“W-where am I?” Jimin whispered, throat dry looking around in horror. Where was he? Why was he here? What was going on? Jimin looked down, seeing how his legs and torso was also tied to the chair. His shirt was some drips of what he believed was blood, and honestly felt sick. So that’s why his face felt sticky. Jimin felt tears bubble up in his eyes. Why was he hear?
“You’re awake.” Jimin looked up in surprise.
“C- Customer nim?” Jimin whispered. Chin-Hwa had a smirk on his face as he walked over to Jimin with his hands in his pockets,
“you’re up earlier then I anticipated. I was sure you’d be out for another hour or two.” Chin-Hwa said cocking his head to the side as his eyes studied Jimin. Jimin curled into himself as his lower lip quivered.
“W-why am I here? What do you want?” Jimin asked, his voice stuttering. Chin-Hwa gave a soft chuckled as he crouched down in front of Jimin. Jimin looked at him in horror as Chin-Hwa kept his smirk.
“What I want, is for the Jeon empire to fall. And you’re going to help me with that.” He said, poking Jimin in the nose. Jimin’s eyes widened as he tighten his fist against the ropes.
“You want Jungkook.” Jimin whispered. Chin-Hwa chuckled as he nodded his head.
“Ah, so you’re the youngest ones lover.” Jimin cursed at his stupid mouth. Chin-Hwa stood up as he gripped Jimin by his chin, “I can’t blame Jungkook for taking a liking to you. You’re defiantly a keeper.” Jimin pulled his head away from Chin-Hwa grasp as a pitiful front danced on his lips. Chin-Hwa let out a sigh as he ran a hand though Jimin’s hair, making Jimin close his eyes as a disgusting feeling run down his spine. “Maybe, I can make you mine after this.”
“Boss, the package has been sent.” One of the men that came with him yesterday walked into the room. Chin-Hwa smiled turning around while letting Jimin go.
“Excellent. “ He said. Jimin looked at them with concern and horror.
“W-what package?” Jimin asked. Chin-Hwa and his member turned towards him with a smirk.
“A very important package.”
Jungkook walked into the casino. It was about 1 in the after noon so not to many people were in the casino but it was still buzzing. Jungkook and Taehyung walked the floor. Jungkook couldn’t help but looking around, trying to catch a glimpse of Jimin and his frown deepening every second he didn’t see him. Taehyung looked at Jungkook with confusion.
“What’s wrong?” Taehyung asked. Jungkook eyes trialed to Taehyungs as his frown stayed on his face.
“I don’t see him.”
“See who?”
“Jimin.” Jungkook said, looking back onto the floor. As far as Jungkook knows, Jimin didn’t have the day off. Taehyung smirked, elbowing Jungkook gently.
“Ah, am I finally going to see the guys that got’s my beat friends wrapped around his finger?” Jungkook just kept looking around the floor, making Taehyung frown too. “Damn, no response?”
“It’s weird, I just don’t see him.” Jungkook said approaching the elevators. Taehyung shrugged, pushing the button.
“Probably on break or something.” Taehyung said, watching the elevator open. Jungkook kept his frown on his face, keeping his eyes on the casino floor. “Yah, Jungkook. Elevators here.” Jungkook turned his back from the floor to get into the elevator.
“Right.” Jungkook said, taking his steps in, He turned around, looking out the doors as they closed. Still no sign of Jimin. Taehyung chuckled softly, looking at his best friend.
“You look like a kicked puppy.”
“Shut up Tae.” Jungkook said, leaning against the back of the elevator. “I just wanted to see him.”
“Ah, I’m sure you will.”
The Jeons were all seated around the table, having a discussion when Yoongi walked into the room, a worried expression on his face. The Jeon’s looked up at him, confusion on their face.
“What is it Yoongi?” Jimin’s father asked. Yoongi held up a envelope, looking at Jungkook’s father.
“One of the members from Choi came to the casino. He had a gun on him, luckily he ever made it in side and was disposed of quickly.” Yoongi said, walking further into the room to hand the envelope to Jungkook’s father, “he was carrying this. It’s addressed to you all.”
“A messenger.” Jungkook stated, watching his father open the envelope.
“What does it say?” Jung Hyun asked, watching as his father shuffled the paper out of its confinements. Something slipped from his grasp and slide onto the table, making the Jeon’s look over in curiosity. Three of them were confused, however Jungkook’s eyes widen as his fist tighten.
“Jimin?!” Jungkook whispered. The picture was of Jimin, bound to a chair as blood trickled down his face. His eyes were closed as his head hung to the side. Jimin was surrounded by cement walls as blood dripped onto his shirt. Jungkook felt his throat swell up as anger and distraught bubbled into his veins as he studied the picture. Yoongi let out a small gasp, seeing the picture. JungHyun looked over at his younger brother who sat in shock.
“Jungkook?” he asked. Jungkook’s father looked over at the picture, eye brow raised.
“Who is he? I don’t remember him.”
“Park Jimin sir, he is a one of our employees. He works the floor.” Yoongi informed, eyes on Jungkook’s shock figure. Taehyung let out a silent gasp, looking over Jungkook’s shoulder to look at the picture. His father rubbed his temple.
“I don’t get it, why would they take one of our employees?”
“Because, he means something.” Jungkook’s grandfather spoke up, eyes trained on his youngest grandson. Jungkook’s father blinked in confusion as he looked at his father.
“Means something?”
“Yes, he means something important.” Jungkook’s grandfather rested his arms on the table as Jungkook’s expression darkened as he kept looking at the picture. “who is he, Jungkook ah?” Jungkook’s father went to look at Jungkook he kept his eyes on the photo. Jungkook shifted his eyes, his fist tightening against his pants.
“Jungkook!?” Jung Hyun exclaimed in surprise as his younger brother shot up from his seat, a completely pissed off look on his face. Why Jimin!? Why was Jimin captured? How dare they lay a finger on Jimin? Jungkook felt anger boil in his body as the reality of Jimin being captured sunk into his mind.
“Sit back down Jungkook.” His grandfather demanded, making those fiery eyes from his youngest grandson fall on to him, “he wants you mad.”
“Well, he did a good fucking job at it.” Jungkook snapped, his knuckles turning white. Jungkook’s father kept his confused look as he looked between his father and son. Jungkook grandfather sighed.
“Jungkook, calm down.”
“How the hell can I calm down?!” Jungkook exclaimed, taking everyone aside from his grandfather by surprise. Jungkook pointed at the picture. “These mother fuckers have Jimin!”
“Jungkook.” Jung Hyun said, standing up. Jungkook’s grandfather intertwine his fingers together.
“Jungkook, they took him in hopes you’ll be acting like you are right now. You’re playing into their trap. Clam down and-”
“Good! Because these mother fuckers are going to fucking die. I want every man we have searching for Jimin right now!”
“Jungkook!” Jung Hyun reached over, grabbing his brother by the arm. Jungkook whirled his head around, shooting his lasers at his older brother. “Stop, calm down. What’s gotten into you?” Jungkook pulled his arm away from his brother.
“What’s gotten into me is that these mother fuckers have Jimin!”
“Jimin is just a employee.”
“Jimin is my fucking boyfriend!” Jungkook snapped, making Jung Hyun and Jungkook’s father gasp in surprise. Taehyung covered his mouth in as his eyes shifted to Yoongi who looked at him with shock. Boyfriend!?
“Wait, so Jimin is your boyfriend? You’re dating someone?!” Jungkook’s father asked in shock. Jungkook wasn’t like Jung Hyun who was dating constantly and had many lovers. Jungkook was the one night stand type who kept from getting emotionally attached to someone on that deep of a level. Jungkook dating was a shock, but to know that his son’s boyfriends was captured was concerned. Jeon’s have been known for their tempers.
“Which, is why you need to calm down, Jungkook.” His grandfather demanded, keeping his eyes locked on Jungkook. “If you completely lost in rage you won’t be able to save Jimin.” Jungkook froze, eyes shifting to his grandfather. His grandfather nodded his head softly, “that’s what you want to do right, save Jimin shi?” Jungkook nodded his head slowly, looking at the picture as distraught covered his body. Jungkook slowly sat down, taking in a huge breath and exhaling it out slowly, keeping his eyes locked on the picture of Jimin.
“What should I do?” Jungkook asked, a hand coming up to rub his chin. His grandfather looked over to his son.
“Calm down and think. We don’t want to make any hasty moves. First, find out were they are.”
“You’re really pretty.” Jimin coward away from the gangsters touch. Though he couldn’t move to far being bound to the chair, the gangster went to pet the dry side of his face, making disgusted goosebumps appear on his skin. “It’s weird to think your a guy.”
“Please, stop touching me.” Jimin begged weakly, trying to get his face away from the others male. The gangster frowned, obviously upset by Jimin’s words.
“What, just cause you’re pretty and getting fucked by a Jeon you think your better then me?!” The gangster yelled, making Jimin cower in fear. The gangster stood up and slapped Jimin, the ringing it echoing off the walls. Jimin let out a yelp, surprised and scared at once as his cheek sting.
“Hey, who gave you permission to touch him!?” Chin-Hwa snapped, turning around from the table that was in the room. The gangster jumped in surprise.
“H-He was asking for it boss!” he stuttered. Chin-Hwa narrowed his eyes at him before turning back towards the table.
“Shut up and get over here.” he demanded, making the gangster rush over to him. Jimin let out a shaky breath as his eyes went to the floor. He couldn’t believe he was in this situation. Tied up, beaten and scared. Jimin was scared, not just for himself, but for his family.
If Jimin is gone then how is his family going to get by? Min Jung is still in high school and won’t be able to get a good enough job to pay, his grandmother won’t be able to work cause she needs to stay home to look after his mother. Jimin felt a tear run down his cheek at the thought. Min Jung is going to lose a brother, A mother is about to lose a son, and a grandmother is going to lose a grandson. Jimin felt another tear glide down his face. Jungkook is going to lose a lover.
“I bet they got it by now, send the other package.”
Jungkook was silent, staring out the window as he couldn’t stop the fumbling of his hands. Taehyung sat beside him a comforting hand placed on his knee. His family members were chatting among themselves, talking plans and such but Jungkook couldn’t bring himself to listen. He was to worried and a little emotional. Which he’ll probably get scolded for once this is over because a leader cannot lose his cool in any situation. But Jungkook wasn’t so worried about that.
“It’s my fault.” Jungkook whispered, eyes trained outside, watching as people passed under him. Taehyung squeezed his knee.
“Stop it. It’s not your fault.
“It is. I should have never… If I didn’t… Jimin wouldn’t be in this situation.” Jungkook said, looking over at Taehyung. “I knew we were about to be in a war yet I went to him. How could I have been so stupid?”
“Jungkook, you like him.” Taehyung said, “it’s natural to go after someone you like, it’s human.”
“I’m not suppose to be human Taehyung.” Jungkook stated, “I’m suppose to be a leader. I’m going to be the head of the fucking mafia.”
“That doesn’t mean you’re suppose to be a monster Jungkook.” Taehyung said, his hand going from Jungkook’s knee to his shoulder. Jungkook scoffed.
“If I was a monster Jimin wouldn’t be is situation.”
“If you were a monster Jimin wouldn’t have liked you back.” Taehyung messaged his hands into Jungkook’s shoulder. Jungkook let out a sigh as he balled up his fist.
“I’m going to rip Chin-Hwa’s throat out. He is going to die today.” Jungkook hissed, eye trained on the streets below. “I’m going to personally slaughter every single one of them.”
“I know.”
“I want my hands to be stained red when this is over.”
“Ok, now that’s a little intense.”
“It’s how I feel.” Jungkook stated, eyes locked on the street. His eyes flashed in recognition, seeing a figure on the other side of the street. Jungkook’s fist tighten as his eyes locked on the figure. “and I’m starting now.”
“Jungkook!? Taehyung called out, making everyone in the room turn in surprise as Jungkook bolted out of the room.
“Son of a bitch.” Jungkook’s grandfather hissed watching the last of Jungkook leave the room. Jungkook’s father furrowed his brow.
“Follow him!” he demanded, everyone in the room bowed.
“Yes sir!” Taehyung lead the group out, following after Jungkook. Jung Hyun stood up, making steps towards the door. His father pointed his finger at him.
“You stay. We can’t have you mixed up in this.” Jung Hyun frowned.
“But Jungkook-”
“Isn’t running the casino, you are. We can’t have news of you involved in any gang war.” Jung Hyun frowned, back down. Jungkook’s father sighed, rubbing his eyes. Juungkook’s grandfather let out a sigh, rubbing his hands together.
“He is much like his mother, is he not?” Jungkook’s father sighed, sitting back down as he rubbed the ring on his necklace.
“And that’s how she got herself killed.”
Jungkook bolted out of the casino doors, his eyes hunting for the figure he saw earlier. Once Jungkook eyes locked on his target, he bolted over. The Choi member didn’t even have time to realize it was Jungkook by the time the Jeon got to him, gripping him by the throat.
“Where is Chin-Hwa!?” Jungkook hissed, pedestrians gasping all around him. Jungkook’s grip tighten as the Choi gangster gasped for air, gripping Jungkook’s wrist. Jungkook shook his victim harshly. “Where the fuck is Chin-Hwa!?”
“Jungkook!” Taehyung said, rushing over. The gangster started to hit Jungkook’s wrist with a phone that Jungkook didn’t realize earlier. Once his gang made it to his side Jungkook released his victim to his members. The Choi member coughed violently as two of Jeon members grabbed hold of his shoulders. Jungkook blood thirsty eyes were trained on him as the victim recovered.
“Here.” The Choi member said with a scratchy throat, holding the cell phone. Jungkook took the phone as he looked down at it. It was on silent but there was a number on the screen. Jungkook pushed the answer button as he brought it up to his ear.
“Glad you picked up.” Jungkook’s eye narrowed as his grip tighten on the phone.
“Chin-Hwa.”
“Jungkook ah, I’m more glad its you.” Chin-Hwa chimed, watching as Jimin’s eyes widen as he looked up at the rivals gang boss. Did he say Jungkook was on the line?
“Where are you, you son of a bitch!” Jungkook hissed from the other end of the phone. Chin-Hwa clicked his tongue as he smirked.
“Oh, not very nice words.” Chin-Hwa cooed, walking closer to Jimin and another one of the Choi members. Chin-Hwa smiled sadistically, running a hand through Jimin’s hair, “especially when I have something so pretty with me.”
Jungkook fist tightened as his eyes were turning red in anger. He dare call Jimin pretty. He dare taunt him like this? Jungkook silently growled as Taehyung’s face turned into worry.
“I swear to god Chin-Hwa I will fucking slaughter you.”
“I have to say Jungkook, you have very good taste in men.” Chin-Hwa crackled from the other end of the phone, “there is nothing like pretty doe eyes that look up at you. I bet they’re prettier when you have your cock between his pretty lips as well.”
“If you’ve touched him in anyway Chin-Hwa-”
“You’re going to slaughter me?” Chin-Hwa completed Jungkook’s sentence as he kept brushing Jimin’s hair. Jimin couldn’t help his disgust shivers as Chin-Hwa kept toying with him. He wanted to be far away from this conversation as possible. Chin-Hwa smirked, “your boyfriend has such soft hair-”
“- i bet it feels nice when you two are laying in bed and you can just stroke him.” Jungkook felt his blood boiling. How dare he, how fucking dare he, run his hands through Jimin’s hair. How dare he touch Jimin in anyway shape or form.
“Get your hands off him right fucking now Chin-Hwa!” Jungkook hissed, he was losing his cool faster and faster by each second. Just the thought of that choi’s hand any where near Jimin made his stomach twist in rage. Taehyung gripped Jungkook’s shoulder.
“Stay calm Jungkook. He could be toying with you. Jimin could possibly not even there.” Taehyung said, making Jungkook turn to him.
“You don’t believe that Jimin is here?” Chin-Hwa chuckled, looking at how Jimin looked at him in wide fearful eyes. Chin-Hwa pulled the phone away to put it on speaker, “why don’t you talk with him?” Chin-Hwa moved the phone down towards Jimin.
“Chin-Hwa you son of a-”
“Jungkook?” Jimin said with a trembling voice. He was so happy to hear Jungkook’s voice he couldn’t help but call out his name.
“Ji-Jimin?” Jungkook repeated, eyes widening as he heard Jimin’s voice. His voice was trembling and soft. Jungkook could just imagine the fear Jimin was feeling that his voice wasn’t able to be steady. Though Jungkook was fuming, he felt relieved to hear Jimin’s voice. Proof that Jimin wasn’t dead.
“Jungkook.” Jimin’s voice got shakier, informing Jungkook that Jimin was crying. Jungkook felt his heart break. Jimin was so scared and Jungkook wasn’t there.
“Jimin, are you ok?” Jungkook asked.
“Don’t worry, I’m coming to get you.” Jimin felt more tears rolling down his face. Jungkook sound so sure and Jimin was sure Jungkook would come get him. Jimin’s eyes shifted up to his kidnapper and noticed the most sadistic smile on his face. Jimin’s eyes widen as a realization hit him. Why was he captured in the first place? So Jungkook would come to him. Would come here. Jimin was the bait for Chin-Hwa’s trap and by the sounds of it, Jungkook was going to come running straight into it. Jimin couldn’t live with that.
“Don’t come!” Jimin exclaimed desperately, making the Choi’s jump in surprise. Jimin shook his head, “don’t come Jungkook! It’s a trap! They’re going to kill y-ah!” the gangster next to Jimin smack him so hard it echoed off the wall and in the phone.
“Jimin!?”
“Jimin!?” Jungkook called out worriedly, hearing the slapping sound in his head. Taehyung face turned into a concern one watching Jungkook’s worried expression.
“Don’t come!” another smacking sound and a yelp echoed in the phone “Jungkook please do-ah!”
“Jimin! Jimin!” Jungkook felt panic fill his pot of emotion as the sound of skin hitting skin echoed along with yelps of pain and pleas. “Jimin! I’m coming hang on!”
“Wait for me I’m coming.” Jimin whimpered, hearing Jungkook’s voice off the phone. Chin-Hwa took the phone off speaker phone and placed it on his ear.
“See. I told you he was here.” Chin-Hwa said, gripping Jimin by the chip as red marks stained his face, “though, I can’t promise he’ll be as pretty.”
“You fucking son of a bitch. I’m going to fucking kill you.” Jungkook’s voice was dangerous, and if Chin-Hwa was honest, it scared him a little bit. However, Chin-Hwa was someone to be just as feared as Jungkook. Chin-Hwa smiled, letting his index finger run over Jimin’s broken lip.
“I can’t wait to see you try.” Chin-Hwa said, hanging up the phone. He tossed it to another Choi member in the room and he destroyed it. Chin-Hwa smiled. poking Jimin’s swelling lip. “You’re boyfriend is going to be here soon.” Jimin’s lips quivered as tears rolled down his face.
“Please, don’t hurt him.” Jimin begged, making Chin-Hwa chuckle.
“Fine.” He said pulling away, “I’ll kill him quickly.”
“Chin-Hwa! Chin-Hwa!?” Jungkook hissed, hearing the dial tone. Jungkook growled, pulling the phone away from his ear and smashing it on the ground, making everyone jump. Jungkook’s killer eyes went from the broken pieces to the choi member. He shot out a hand and gripped the choi’s neck, “where the fuck is that bastard hiding!?”
“Jungkook!” Taehyung said, going to grip Jungkook’s wrist. “You’re going to kill him.” The choi was gaspig and gurgling for air as his eyes were wide with fear. Jeon’s are very, very scary. Jungkook’s glare was so intensely terrifying that even his own men were cowering in fear.
“Good.”
“If he is dead he can’t lead us to Chin-Hwa.” Jungkook reluctantly let go of the choi, letting him gasp for air a second time as his heart pounded in fear. He did not sign up for this. Jungkook gripped the male by his chin and pulled him forward.
“Where the fuck is Chin-Hwa?”
“I have to say thank you, Jimin ah.” Chin-Hwa said, loading up his gun. Jimin shivered, watching him slide the magazine into the handle. Chin-Hwa smiled, locking and loading the gun. “With out you, I would have never had the chance to take out the next heir to the Jeon mafia throne.” Jimin quivered as more tears rolled down his face.
“Please, stop. You can still stop.” Jimin begged watching as Chin-Hwa placed his gun on the table. Chin-Hwa chuckled walking closer to Jimin. Jimin flinched away, but he couldn’t move far enough. Chin-Hwa ran his hand through Jimin’s hair again as he let out cooing noises.
“I can, but I won’t.” Chin-Hwa snickered, gripping Jimin’s hair. Jimin whimpered as he closed his eyes to the pain, “not with the throne being so close in my grasp.” he yanked Jimin’s hair, making him whimper again, “I’m going to kill Jungkook today, then the rest of the Jeons will follow.”
“Please, please don’t.” Jimin whispered. Chin-Hwa started to caress Jimin’s hair.
“I won’t kill you though, Jimin ah.” Chin-Hwa cooed, his hand running down to trace Jimin’s jaw line. “I want to keep you around, like a little pet.” Jimin felt himself shiver again in fear and disgust. Chin-Hwa finger went to trail down Jimin’s neck. “when we’re done here, I’m going to have a very long private time with you. Man, you’d look so cute with a collar.” Jimin swallowed as fresh tears escaped his eyes as his body trembled.
The sudden sounds of gun shots and people screaming stop Chin-Hwa from saying his next sentence. Jimin’s eyes widen as he faced towards the door in panic and surprised. What a horrible, horrible sound. Chin-Hwa went from surprise to amusement.
“Well, he got here sooner then I though he would.” Chin-Hwa said, walking over to his gun. Jimin’s eyes shifted from the door to Chin-Hwa.
“J-Jungkook’s here?” Chin-Hwa smirked, walking back to Jimin. Jimin cowered as Chin-Hwa got closer. Chin-Hwa smirked, running his index finger down Jimin’s nose.
“We’re going to have a lot of fun tonight.” Jimin shifted his head away in disgust.
“Please-”
“Jimin!” the door into there room busted open. In time Chin-Hwa hid behind Jimin as Jungkook busted open the door. The two extra gang members in the room both pulled out their guns. Jungkook shot them in reflect. The sound making Jimin close his eyes as the sounds of gun shots rang loudly in his ears. Jungkook kept his gun up as he kicked the door shut behind him. Chin-Hwa crouched behind Jimin, the gun pressed to Jimin’s temple as he smirked.
“Ah, welcome Jungkook. Glad you could make it” Chin-Hwa said, behind Jimin. Jungkook eyes travled from the dead bodies on the floor to Jimin. Jungkook felt his breath hitch. Jimin’s eyes were closed, but by the trailed on his face you could tell he has been crying. Dry blood as on the side of his face as red marks decorated the other side, his lips were chapped while one of the corners was scab over. His body was bound to the chair as it kept trembling. Jimin looked horrible, horrible and abused. Jungkook felt a sob building at the base of his throat as his eyes teared up a little bit. How could this happen to someone so beautiful? The gun pressed against Jimin’s temple reminded Jungkook where he was, and his rage came back in a wild fire.
“Step away from him Chin-Hwa. You fucking bastard.” Jungkook hissed. Chin-Hwa smirked, pushing the barrel of the gun against Jimin’s head, making the male hold his breath.
“Jimin ah, looky, Jungkook is here.” Chin-Hwa said, caressing Jimin’s neck with his free hand. Jimin shuddered as he tighten his eyes. “Aren’t you happy?”
“Get the fuck away from him Chin-Hwa!” Jungkook snarled, gripping his gun harder. Chin-Hwa chuckled, moving the gun from Jimin’s temple to pointing it at Jungkook.
“I’ve taken quite a liking to him.” Chin-Hwa confessed, pushing his cheek against Jimin’s, making the victim twitch. Jungkook had to stop himself from firing. He couldn’t risk accidentally hurting Jimin. Chin-Hwa smiled as he caress Jimin’s cheek. “He’s so pretty, I just want to make him mine.”
“Stop.” Jimin whimpered, trying his best to move away from Chin-Hwa. Jungkook felt his blood feel like lava as his vision went red. All he could feel was the rage his heart was beating at.
“You’re a fucking dead man today Chin-Hwa.” Jungkook stated. Chin-Hwa cocked his head to the side as he smirked.
“Funny, cause today is your funeral.” Chin-Hwa fired his gun. It was so loud that Jimin yelped in surprise and fear. Fear for Jungkook. Jimin opened his eyes as tears rolled down his face.
“Jungkook!?” Jimin exclaimed, trying to find any signs of Jungkook. Jungkook wasn’t hit, he move to hide behind a concert pillar, and luckily he was fast or a bullet would of gotten him. Chin-Hwa fired a couple more bullets as the pillar, hoping Jungkook would of peeked out and gotten shot. Jungkook gripped his gun as he bit his lip in frustration. As long as Chin-Hwa hid behind Jimin, Jungkook couldn’t do anything back. Chin-Hwa chuckled.
“What’s wrong Jeon? It’s not like the mighty Jungkook to hide like a little bitch!” Chin-Hwa called out. Jungkook tighten his fist as he glared towards Chin-Hwa. Taunts like that wouldn’t pull Jungkook from his spot, but it will piss him off. Jimin shook his head.
“Please, please stop it!” Jimin cried, trying to get Chin-Hwa to stop. He couldn’t stand the though, let alone watching Jungkook die. Chin-Hwa chuckled, grabbing Jimin’s cheeks with one hand, squeezing them together so Jimin’s lips puffed out like a fishes.
“No way in hell. I’m finally going to murder that fuck Jeon.” Chin-Hwa said, releasing Jimin roughly. Jungkook frowned at the sound of Jimin’s voice. He had to get Jimin out of here. Jungkook looked down in though, as frustration bubbled in his gut. As long as Chin-Hwa hid behind Jimin he can’t do anything. Jungkook could easily close the distance but he can’t run out there with a gun pointed at him. Jungkook went to rub his jacket in thought. Jungkook’s eyes widen.
“Come out, come out where ever you are.” Chin-Hwa sang, keeping his gun pointed towards the pillar. No response. Jimin closed his eyes, praying Jungkook would stay behind the safety of the pillar. Chin-Hwa made a scowl as he pointed the gun to Jimin’s head again. “Come out or I’ll blow his brains out.” Jimin widen his eyes as he felt the warm metal press against his skull. Suddenly, there was movement moving from behind the pillar. Chin-Hwa automatically fired, making Jimin scream in shock as every bullet leaving the gun put the image of Jungkook dropping to the floor in his head.
“Jungkook!” Silence. Jimin opened his eyes hesitantly, the ringing of shot clogged up his ears. Jungkook wasn’t on the ground, Jungkook was running. Running towards them.
“Shit!” Chin-Hwa called out in surprise. He wasn’t expecting Jungkook to throw his jacket out as a distraction as he ran out from the other side. Jungkook was fast enough to swing his leg out, knocking the gun out of Chin-Hwa hand before he could pull the trigger. Before Jungkook could point his gun, Chin-Hwa stood up with his reflexes to disarm Jungkook. Jungkook’s gun slide on the floor as the two swung at each other above Jimin. Jimin was watching with wide eyes as he was still trying to figure out what was happening. Jungkook got the first hit, knockin Chin-Hwa hard to the left. Hard enough to make him stumble. Jungkook tackled Chin-Hwa to the ground, them both crashing on to the floor.
“J-Jungkook?” Jimin whispered in surprise, watching Jungkook pin the other down while throwing punches at him. Jungkook was furious, every punch to Chin-Hwa face was full of rage. How fucking dare he kidnap Jimin! How fucking dare he hurt Jimin! How fucking dare he lay a finger on Jimin! How fucking dare he, how fucking dare he! Chin-Hwa wasn’t going down with out a fight.
One lucky swing and Jungkook was caught off balance for a second. A second to long. Chin-Hwa shoved Jungkook off of him, ready to switch their positions with another punch. He landed it, but Jungkook was quick enough not to be pinned down by Chin-Hwa. Jungkook used his leg to push Chin-Hwa away as he rolled backwards to get into a standing position. Chin-Hwa easily got into a standing position as well as the two stared each other down. Chin-Hwa pulled out a knife from his pocket as he wipe his bleeding lip. Jimin gasped, seeing the sharp object. Jungkook narrowed his eyes at it as he flexed his hands.
“You’re going to need more then that to kill me.” Jungkook stated.
“This is all I’m going to need to kill you.” Chin-Hwa stated back.
Chin-Hwa moved first, lunging towards Jungkook. Jungkook easily dodged as he kept moving away from the blade as he kept his balance. The Choi’s are renown for their knife handling skills, however the Jeon’s are known for their natural reflexes. Now it’s down to who ever has the most skill. Chin-Hwa swung again, but this time used his leg to kick Jungkook in the stomach. Jungkook fell back as his breath was knocked out of him. Jimin’s eyes widen in fear.
“Jungkook!”
Chin-Hwa swung his arm again, but Jungkook recovered fast enough that he was able to tumble away. Jungkook rolled on the floor before getting back up. He felt blood trickle down to his jaw. Jungkook felt the light stinging of the cut on his cheek, but with so much adrenaline pumping in his vines he barley felt it. Chin-Hwa sneered, rushing towards Jungkook again. Jungkook went back to doging as he tried to find a opening to strik back. However it seem he was only quick enough to move out of the way. Chin-Hwa kept swinging around viciously.
“Why. Won’t. You. Fucking. Die!?” Chin-Hwa growled with each thrust towards Jungkook. Chin-Hwa was getting frustrated and that can lead to Jungkook’s advantage. Jimin kept watching in worry, every swing he feared for the worst as his eyes couldn’t stop watering. Jungkook dodged one more time, making Chin-Hwa completely frustrated. Frustrated enough that it caused a delay in his movements. Jungkook took full advantage of that. His elbow came crashing down onto Chin-Hwa’s wrist, making the Choi drop his knife. Jungkook gripped Chin-Hwa’s elbow, keeping his still as he swung his elbow right into Chin-Hwa’s face. Successfully breaking the other ones nose. Chin-Hwa let out a roar of pain while Jungkook kept elbowing him in the face, eventually knocking him down. Jungkook went to straddle Chin-Hwa but the Choi kicked him in the knee. Jungkook let out his own yelp of pain as he got off balance for a second. And in a fight, seconds are deadly.
Chin-Hwa used his elbow to get Jungkook in the jaw. Jungkook rolled away, getting under the table that was in the room. Chin-Hwa recovered enough to be able to get his knife again. Jimin watched in panic as his throat started to get sore from the tension. It was so stressful to watch with every second he feared for Jungkook’s life. Jungkook glared at Chin-Hwa from under the table, rolling backwards so he could get up from the other side. Chin-Hwa glared back as he kicked the table over, every item flying over to Jungkook’s feet. Jungkook backed away as Chin-Hwa jumped over the table to get to him. They went back to their dance, however Chin-Hwa was more delayed thanks to the pain from his broken nose. However, his hit to Jungkook’s jaw made the Jeon a little light headed. Jungkook doged Chin-Hwa’s knife, rolling behind the Choi. Jungkook got on to his knees as the fatigue as his jaw made his reaction time slower. Chin-Hwa turned around, ready to stab Jungkook. Jungkook rolled again, barley missing the knife. Chin-Hwa growled, moving to stab Jungkook again. Jungkook, however, wrapped his hand around the bat on the ground thanks to Chin-Hwa flipping the table, and swung it at Chin-Hwa. He hit him right in the cheek, shattering the bone there. There was a loud thwack as Chin-Hwa dropped his kife to the ground, stumbling back. Jungkook stood up, swinging the bat again into Chin-Hwa’s face, knocking him to the ground.
“I said I was going to fucking slaughter you!” Jungkook hissed, lifting the bat up ready to completely bash Chin-Hwa’s brains out. And with how much rage is inside him, he’ll probably be swinging way after Chin-Hwa was deemed dead. Jungkook grip on the bat tighten as he ready his swing. Rot in hell, Choi Chin-Hwa.
“Jungkook!” Jungkook froze, letting the sound of his name ringing his ears. Jungkook slowly turned his head, seeing Jimin look at him with wide fearful eyes. Jimin was obviously crying as his lips quivered. Jungkook felt his adrenaline slow down as the heat from his body cool down. He couldn’t let Jimin watch him kill a man, Jimin wouldn’t be able to handle that. Jimin sniffed “Jungkook.”
“Jimin.” Jungkook responded, dropping the bat to the ground as he ran over to Jimin. “Jimin!”
“Jungkook!” Jimin cried, watching as the younger boy hastily made his way over. Jungkook slide to his knees as he cupped the older boy’s cheeks. Jungkook felt his own eyes watering, mirroring the look in Jimin’s eyes.
“Jimin, oh god. Are you alright?” Jungkook asked, wiping Jimin’s tears. Jimin cried.
“Untie me, untie me.” Jimin begged. Jungkook nodded, pulling out his own knife to cut the ropes. Jimin started to tremble as limbs started to get free. Once his arms were free, Jimin lunged himself at Jungkook. Wrapping his arms around Jungkook’s neck as he buried himself into the flesh and sobbed. Jungkook wrapped his arms around Jimin’s trembling figure as he shoved his face into Jimin’s hair, closing his eyes as he let the warmth of Jimin’s body take over him.
“You’re ok, you’re ok now. I got you Jimin. I got you.” Jungkook said, rocking them back and forth as he squeezed Jimin closer to him. Jimin sobbed, tightening his hold as he gripped Jungkook’s shirt.
“I was so scared.” Jimin confessed, body wrecking with his sobs. Jungkook felt a tear glide down his cheek as he held Jimin closer. His heart breaking at the sound of Jimin crying.
“I know. I know, I’m so sorry. I’m so sorry.” Jungkook replied, “I was so worried. I was so scared I was going to lose you.” Jimin sobbed, feeling Jungkook rub his back in comforting strokes. Jungkook let out a sigh as he as he pressed his head against Jimin’s. “Thank you for being alive. Thank you.” Jungkook pulled away, removing Jimin from him. Jimin let out soft sobs as he wiped his eyes with his sleeve. Jungkook went to cup Jimin’s face as he couldn’t help another tear side down his face. Jimin lip quivered.
“Jungkook ah.” Jungkook shushed him, pulling Jimin’s face closer to his so the can lay his forehead on his. Jungkook rubbed his cheek softly.
“Let’s get out of here. Let’s get you home.” Jungkook said softly, leaning down to kiss the space between Jimin’s nose and cheek. Jimin nodded in response. Jungkook pulled away to move his hands to Jimin’s elbows, helping the other boy up. Jimin shakily stood, letting Jungkook take most of his weight. Jimin kept his eyes on Jungkook’s as he gripped the others forearms.
“Thank you.” Jimin sniffed. Jungkook smiled, shaking his head.
“Don’t mention it.” Jungkook said, leaning down to place a kiss on Jimin’s forehead. Jimin closed his eyes, letting the warmth of Jungkook’s lips comfort his shaking body. After being scared for hours, he felt so safe in Jungkook’s arms. Jimin opened his eyes slowly. They widened.
“Jungkook!”
Unbeknownst to the couple, one of Choi’s members sneak into the room. The gangster saw his fallen leader and it didn’t take long for him to locate the couple in the room. He pulled out his knife and charged at the couple. Jungkook was a couple seconds delayed on his reflexes.
The knife was stabbed into his body.
Jimin’s body.
In this moment, Jungkook couldn’t comprehend anything else other then the wide eyes that stared back at him. Jungkook barley heard the silent ringing in his ears as he didn’t even remember taking the knife from Jimin’s body and shoving it into the Choi’s throat. Jimin started to feel heavier in his arms as blood leaked from in between his lips. Jimin’s legs gave out, making Jungkook sink to the floor as he kept his eyes locked with Jimin’s. Why? Why did Jimin switch heir positions? Why did Jimin jump in front of a knife that was obviously meant for him? Jungkook barley felt the tears drip off his chin as he held Jimin.
“Jimin! Jimin!” Jungkook finally started to hear himself, as he pressed a hand against the stab wound in Jimin’s body. Jimin started to cough as he gripped Jungkook’s shirt in support, The pain from his lower back felt nothing like any other pain he ever felt in his life. Jungkook shook his head as his tears trailed down his face. “No, no! Jimin! Oh god!”
“J-Jungkook.” Jimin coughed, more blood flowing down his chin. Jungkook pressed his hand against the wound harder as he choked back a sob.
“No, no. Jimin hang on. Fuck, hang on.” Jungkook cried, holding Jimin closer to him. Jimin coughed again, more blood escaping his throat. Jungkook shook his head. “Go damn it! Why did you have to do that!? Jimin, fuck.” Jimin smiled, as he went shakily pressed his hands against Jungkook’s cheek.
“I feel the safest in your arms.” Jimin confessed. Jungkook’s eyes widen as more tears escaped his eyes.
“No, no. Don’t start fucking talking like that Jimin! Don’t you fucking start!” Jungkook cried, pressing his hand tighter as Jimin’s blood started to stain his hand. “Don’t you give up on me Jimin!” Jimin smiled, a tear gliding down his face.
“My brother, he really liked that duck meat.” Jimin said, stroking Jungkook’s cheek. Jungkook’s lip quivered and he fought back another sob.
“Let’s take him to the restaurant then Jimin.” Jungkook cried, shifting so he could press a kiss into Jimin’s palm. “Let’s bring him there together. Fuck let’s take your whole family.” Jimin coughed up more blood though a smile stayed on his face.
“You promise?” another tear fell. “You promise to take him there?”
“We will take him there.” Jungkook corrected desperately, kissing Jimin’s palm again, “we’re going to take him there. You’re going to deal my cards at the casino, we’re going to sneak into that damn janitors closet again to make out during your breaks, I’m going to actually walk you home after our dates.”
“Jungkook.”
“We’re going to be official, no hiding. I’m going to meet your family, you’re going to meet mine. Eventually your going to take my last name and will have a house with a white fucking fence and two dogs and we’re going to be happy.” Jungkook cried against Jimin’s palm. Jimin couldn’t help a sob escape his lips as he smiled painfully.
“Jungkook.”
“I’m your boss. You have to listen to me.” Jungkook cried, “you’re going to live, you’re going to recover and I’m going to make love to you so hard that you won’t walk for a week. So don’t you dare give up on me Park Jimin.” Jungkook kissed Jimin’s palm again. “I love you damn it.” Jimin rubbed Jungkook’s cheek as he felt his body warm up. Hearing the three words he thought it was to early to say but hearing them now, it’s almost as if it was to late. That it was over due. Jimin smiled.
“I love you.” Jimin responded before his vision started to flicker. Jungkook’s eyes widen as he shook his head.
“No, No! Jimin! Jimin stay with me!” Jungkook begged. Jimin vision kept flickering as Jungkook’s voice seemed to get farther and farther away.
“Jimin!”
“Jimin!”
Jimin smiled, laying on his side as his arm was tucked under his head. His eyes were scanning the male next to him, who was sound asleep. Jimin smiled widened, leaning over to press soft kisses on the fresh hickies on the other males next It was early afternoon, but obviously the two weren’t getting up anytime soon. Jimin nibbled lightly on the soft flesh, not realizing that Jungkook was waking up, wrapping a arm around his naked waist to bring him closer. Jimin jump slightly in surprise but his smile never faltered.
“Sorry, I didn’t mean to wake you.” Jimin whispered. Jungkook only moaned in response, leaning over to kiss Jimin’s nose as he refused to open his eyes.
“It’s alright.” Jungkook responded, finally opening his eyes. Jimin smile brighten, finally seeing those beautiful brown eyes. Jungkook smiled back, leaning over to kiss Jimin on lips as he held him tighter, pressing their naked bodies together. “How do you feel?” Jungkook asked, pulling away slightly as his hand went to comb Jimin’s hair. Jimin smiled.
“Amazing, but also a little sore.” Jungkook smiled widen, rubbing soft circles into Jimin’s hair. Jimin chuckled. “how big did I just inflate your ego?”
“Maybe as big as my dick.” Jungkook responded, making Jimin roll his eyes and softly slap Jungkook on the chest. Jungkook chuckled, leaning back over to claim a kiss from Jimin. Jimin hummed, letting their lips mold in a way that only they knew. The butterfly’s dancing inside them. Jungkook pulled away before cuddling Jimin closer to him. Jimin smiled, warping his arms around Jungkook’s torso as the laid in each other’s embrace.
“So, what’s next?” Jimin asked, pressing his face deeper into Jungkook’s chest. Jungkook hand went up to trace the scar on Jimin’s back as he hummed.
“I guess we can take Min Jung to the duck meat restaurant today.” Jungkook mumbled, shoving his knows into Jimin’s hair. Jimin smiled, shifting to look at at Jungkook.
“Today?” Jimin asked. Jungkook stared at him for a moment before a smile appeared on his lips.
“No, not today.”
Jungkook leaned down to claimed another kiss from his official boyfriend.
“I got to make it so you can’t walk for a week.”
