Pant Suits and Pillow Talk

Summary:

Seeing Kamala at a rally gets you a little hot and bothered. Good thing she's there to take care of that.

Notes:

this is apart of chapter 7 from the longer book I'm writing so if you're reading echoes of a guilty heart, get out of here go read the full chapter.

for those of you who don't like reading longer stories I still wanted to share this with you. enjoy! :)

and if there's anything that is confusing that's probably just because I copied and pasted this straight from the original chapter without looking through it.

Work Text:

“And someone who suggests we should terminate the constitution of the United States–”

Her voice rose, sharpening like a blade.

“Should never again have the privilege to stand behind the seal of the president of the United States! Never again!”

I knew I should be thinking about the stakes of the election. But right now? All I could think about was her standing there dripping in absolute power.

I exhaled sharply, running a hand over my face. Anyone else would think I was merely reflecting on the stakes of the election, the horrors that would come if what she said happened. But I was just turned on.

I shouldn't be. But I was.

“So wisconsin today I ask you then,” she started with a smile, tilting her head. “Are you ready to make your voices heard?” she asked, a smile clear in her tone.

“Do we believe in freedom? Do we believe in opportunity? Do we believe in the promise of america? And are we ready to fight for it? And when we fight?”

“We win!”

The noise peaked.

“God bless you and God bless the United States of America.”

I barely had time to process before my agents were guiding me out of the venue, moving me toward the motorcade so we could leave the moment she was finished greeting voters.

I exhaled hard as I slid into the backseat of the SUV, my heart still racing. I could still hear the roar of the crowd in my bones. My hands were shaking from pure adrenaline, pride, and something else entirely.

I held a hand to my chest trying to steady my breathing.

God, she was incredible.

It wasn't long before the door swung open, and Kamala slid in beside me. She was still riding the high of the moment too. I could feel the energy vibrating off of her body.

She turned to me, her eyes sharp. “That crowd, my god–”

Before she could finish, I reached out for her, my fingers curling around her wrist, dragging her toward me. “Jesus christ, baby.” I gasped out, still catching my breath. “You killed it. That was–”

She cut me off with a knowing smirk, equally as breathless. “I know.”

“You did it, Kamala.” My voice was full of pride, but I couldn't resist teasing her, with her own words from four years ago. “You’re going to be the next president of the United States.”

Kamala’s eyes sparkled at the words, seeing through my teasing immediately as she narrowed her eyes. “Oh you think you’re funny?” She laughed.

I smiled wide, struggling to hold back my own laugh. “I’ve been waiting to say that since yesterday. It just wasn't the right time. But now? It feels like the perfect time… You didn't see yourself out there, it was–" I struggled, trying to find the words to describe just how breathtaking she had been.

“So you liked it?”

A scoff left me, my grip tightening around her wrist, heat pooling in my stomach. “Baby. I loved it.” My voice dropped lower. “And if i'm being honest…I was so turned on watching you up there.”

Her expression shifted in an instant, something smug flickering in her gaze, amplified by my confession.  “Yeah?”

I nodded slowly. “Yeah. Something about watching you elicit that kind of response out of an entire arena, getting them to chant your words.” I shook my head, wetting my lips with my tongue. “It does things to me.”

She tilted her head.“Oh, does it now? What exactly did it for you?”

I let out a breathy laugh, as I looked at her, wondering if she was really going to make me say it. “When you called him out, your voice got sharper…you were pissed, and you didn't hold back.” I sucked in a breath, shaking my head as the memory washed over me again.  “God, that did it for me.”

Kamala’s eyes darkened. Her free hand slid up my thigh, her nails pressing through the fabric of my pants. She leaned in just a fraction. “So…my outrage against facism turns you on?”

My breath hitched.

The passing streetlamps blurred past us, but I barely noticed. At this moment nothing else existed. Just the heat pooling in my stomach, her hand sliding higher on my thigh, and the undeniable pull between us.

Her fingers began to trail higher as I exhaled, my hands gripping the lapels of her blazer, tugging her even closer to me. “It's the way you do it. You–”

She cut me off with a kiss.

Firm. Heated. All consuming.

A small, helpless sound left me as her tongue slid against mine. My fingers tangled in her hair, pulling her deeper into me as she leaned forward, hovering her body slightly over mine, one hand gripping the side of my neck, the other on my hip.

I gasped into her mouth, arching into her just as the SUV came to a stop. The bright lights of the tarmac pulling us back to reality.

I groaned in frustration, dropping my forehead to her shoulder.

She let out a breathless laugh, patting my back. “To be continued.” she whispered, her voice portraying equal amounts of frustration.

Inside the plane the momentum of the rally hadn’t faded, if anything it only intensified. Kamala was still in campaign mode as her team discussed her upcoming trips and estimated attendance for the rest of the rallies for the week.

Yet, even during all of that her hand was still on me.

In fact, it hadn't left me since the moment we stepped out of the SUV.

It started small. Holding my hand after we exited the motorcade.  The gentle press of her hand as I walked up the staircase towards the entrance of the plane. Then, through the aisle of the plane.

Now, she was focused, speaking to her team. But her hand, still on me.

Resting on my knee, giving it the occasional squeeze. A small reminder that she was there and she hadn't forgotten about me or what we started.

She didn't even look at me when I glanced over. She kept her expression perfectly composed as she nodded along. But the teenist of tiny smirks told me she knew exactly what she was doing.

Playing along, I leaned in just slightly, resting my hand against her back, rubbing slow deliberate there.

She didn't say anything, didn't react, didn't even blink. She just shot me a quick warning glance.

But that didn't stop me, it encouraged me.

I let my fingers drift to her lower back, continuing to trace circles on her back. Kamala didn't flinch, did not give any indication of what was happening. It was impossible for anyone to be aware of what was happening but I could feel it. I could feel it in the way she tightened her grip on my knee. The way she dug her nails in there. She was trying to keep herself composed.

So, I slid my fingers even lower, slipping them under her blazer, dragging my nails against her blouse right above where it met her pants. She tensed then.

Leaning in when nobody was looking, her voice was low and testing, so quiet, only I could hear it.  “You really don't want to push me right now.”

Oh, but I did.

I leaned in, lips brushing against her ear. “But it's so fun watching you squirm, Madam President.”

Kamala stilled. Her hand, now gripping my thigh.  Tight. Nails digging in just enough to send a shock through my body.

Then, she stood suddenly, she straightened her blazer, her voice, cool, calm and collected. “I’ll be in my office if anyone needs me.”

For a moment I was worried I pushed too far.  I knew how serious this was. Knew she was working.

But before I could ponder on it too long, she passed by me on her way out of the aisle. She didn't speak. She didn't pause.

She just raised a brow, smirk, and gestured to her watch.

Held up five fingers.

Pointed in the direction of her office.

Oh.

  1.

And then she was gone. Leaving me sitting there, hands gripping the armrest, my body on fire as I was struggling to breathe.

My body was aching to follow her into that office.

It was the longest four minutes and thirty seconds of my life before I stood up, announcing to no one in particular, “I'll be right back.”

No one questioned it.

My body was thrumming as I walked towards the closed office door.

The moment I slid inside and closed the door behind me, Kamala was already waiting. Sitting behind her desk, expression controlled. Like she hadn’t just walked away from an entire room to finish what we started.

She lifted her gaze to mine, voice low, firm and demanding. “Lock the door behind you.”

I swallowed hard, my fingers hovering over the lock for a moment before tuning it. The click echoing through the room. I leaned my head against the door before turning. It was cool against my skin, a stark contrast to the heat flushing through every part of my body.

Kamala watched me from her seat behind the desk, her eyes burning as she leaned back in her chair. Her head tilted, drinking me in.

I took a slow step forward, my pulse pounding.

Kamala did move. Didn’t say a word. Just sat there watching me.

I forced myself to hold her gaze.

Then calmly she spoke.  “Get on the desk.”

My breathing stopped.

“What?”

Kamala arched her brow. “Did I stutter?”

I hesitated, turning slightly to point to the closed door.  “But–”

“That wasn’t a request.” She spoke, pointing at the desk in front of her. “Now.”

I didn’t move. Not because I didn't want to, but because I didn't know if my legs could still carry me there.

Her eyes flickered with warning. She waited.

I hesitated just one more moment before I finally moved.

My fingers grazed along the edge of the desk as I walked around it to stand right in front of her, stepping between her spread legs.

She reached forward pulling me closer between her legs, wrapping her arms around my waist.

My hands came out to grip her arms, trying to keep myself steady. The air between us thick with anticipation.

Kamala tilted her head, smirking up at me. “Nothing to say now?”

Her fingers slid up my spine, finding a spot between my shoulder blades and pulling me down, just enough to brush her lips against mine. “I dare you to say something smart now.”

I tried to, I opened my mouth but nothing came out.

She hummed. “That's what I thought.”

I let out a whimper, my hands gripping her blazer even tighter.

She let go and just when I thought she was going to make me beg her to touch me again she grabbed me and lifted me onto the desk.

A gasp left me as I settled on top of it, my hands grasping onto the edges of the cold surface.

Kamala stood in front of me, hands rubbing up the surface of my thighs before spreading them open, finding no resistance and stepping between them.

Her hands still on my thighs grip tightening, slid higher.

And then she kissed me with purpose, pressing her top half into me, her tongue immediately sweeping into my mouth, taking exactly what she wanted.

My head was spinning. My body was burning.

She pulled back just enough to let me catch my breath, her lips grazing against mine again, before pulling back an inch, making me chase after her.

I whimpered, one of my hands leaving the desk to grip her bicep, breathlessly begging, “Kamala, please–”

Her grip on legs tightened, cutting me off. “Try again.”

My breath stopped again. I knew I made a mistake the second it came out of my mouth.

“Please, Madam President.”

Kamala hummed, satisfied, before claiming my lips again, harder this time.

I moaned against her mouth arching into her touch.

Kamala pulled back, pushing me to lay back against the desk. She pressed into me, her hands everywhere. They slipped under my blouse, hands splaying across the expanse of my ribs, running up to grope me through my bra. Before yanking it over my head.

The desk was cold beneath me but it was nothing compared to the fire of her hands on me.

I gasped as her fingers traced the lace of my bra. Her nails, dragging against my ribs.

She moved her mouth back to mine. I parted my lips allowing her back in and she took it, her tongue sweeping over mine. My head was spinning between the weight of her on top of me, the scent of her perfume, the feel of her holding me down by my ribs.

It was too much and not enough all at the same time.

My mind almost broke when her fingers tugged down my bra, exposing me to her. She moved her lips down, flicking her tongue against my nipple, then closing her lips around it, sucking just enough to make me arch my back completely off the desk.

She lifted her head, pulling back and taking the sight of me in. Lips parted, skin flushed red, back arched, ready for whatever she would give me.

Then, without warning, she focused her attention on my thighs again, spreading them wider, stepping firmly between them, her full weight pressing down on me.

I felt it then. The reason she made me wait five minutes. She didnt care if anyone saw us walk off together. She needed five minutes to get that.

I moaned loudly, my head banging back against the desk as she reached for the button of my slacks, dragging them down my legs along with my underwear.

“Look at me.”

I bit my lip, forcing my eyes to stay open through the haze of sheer desperation consuming me. My eyes followed her as her hands found the button of her own slacks. She worked the clasp open, dragged the zipper down slowly, pushed them past her hips, letting them slide down and pool at her feet. She kicked them aside with no urgency, deliberately drawing it out. Then did the same with her blazer, taking her time.

My hands twitched, itching to reach for her, to touch her, to do something instead, they went back to gripping the edge of the desk.

I nearly sobbed when she pressed against me again.

“Fuck–”

Her hand shot up, her fingers curling around my throat, cutting off any words that might’ve left my mouth.

“Shh. You don't get to say anything now.”

A whimper slipped from my lips as she pushed even harder against me, my pulse thundering under her fingers.

“Now you just take it.” she whispered, dragging the fingers of her free hand up my inner thigh.

I was wrecked. My hips chasing for any sort of contact.

She slid a single finger along my slit, sliding it up to circle my clit in agonizingly slow circles. Before finally slipping two fingers inside, curling them just right, thrusting slow and deep.

She slowly let her grip on my throat loosen as she leaned down, hand getting lost in my hair now, breath hot against my neck.

I writhed under her touch as she continued pushing her fingers into me deeper, twisting them slightly. The moans leaving my body became louder, more desperate when she added a third, my body trembling.

She grinned, looking down at the effect she was having on me. “Shh..just because the door is locked doesn't mean they can't hear you.”

Her words pushed me right over the edge, pleasure slamming through my body as I clenched around her fingers. But she didn't stop, she kept pushing into me, her hand now over my mouth, devouring every sound.

Then, pulling her hand out of me, brought it to her lips. Taking her fingers into her mouth and sucking.

I almost came again right there.

She wasted no time in grabbing me by the hips and pulling me to the edge of the desk.

“Baby, please,” I begged.

“Please what?” She slipped two fingers back inside but did no more than that, fingers still as stone.

“Fuck me! Please…” I swallowed, forcing my brain to form words. “Please…just…fuck. me.”

She slid her fingers out and in one fluid motion pushed her hips forward, the entire strap disappearing into me. My breath caught in my throat, my mouth hanging open, immediately gripping the length inside me.

My checks were scorched as she picked up her pace, each thrust hitting that spot deep within me.

“I want you to remember this,” she whispered against my lips, pressing a brief kiss to them. “Everytime you breathe, everytime you think…”

I dug my hands into her shoulders, wrapping my legs around her hips, my whole body on fire at the incoming orgasm.

“Everytime you move tomorrow, I want you to feel me. Feel this.” With that she pushed herself so deep I swear I felt her hit my cervix. She didn't stop there either, raising a thumb down over my clit, applying just the right amount of pressure.

Spasms overtook my body as I threw my head back, arching my back, pulling her even closer, forcing her head into my neck as I came with a moan held back by the bite of my lip.

The room was still now, the only sound was the low hum of the plane's engines beneath us. The earlier tension–the desperation, the heat, the reckless need, had settled into something softer.

I was still breathless, still buzzing, my body humming from everything she did to me.

Fully clothed again, I had ended up in her lap, my limbs heavy, my body boneless. Kamala’s arms were wrapped securely around me, possessive, like she wasn't ready to let me go yet. Knowing she needed to savor this moment before she was dragged away again.

I sighed against her shoulder, pressing my face into the crook of her neck, inhaling her scent, her warm skin and the faint traces of her perfume.

“I can’t feel my legs.” I mumbled, voice muffled against her skin.

Kamala chuckled, the sound low and smug. I could feel the way her chest shook beneath me, her fingers splaying on my back.

“Good.” she murmured, her voice dripping with new post-rally confidence.

I huffed, lifting my head to glare at her, but the moment I met her soft gaze, my expression faltered. Her eyes were still dark with lust but full of something deeper.

Kamala smirked, tucking a strand of hair behind my ear, her fingers lingering, trailing down the side of my neck. Right over the spot where her hand had just been minutes ago, wrapped around my neck, claiming me.

I shivered at the memory, tilting my head slightly to press a kiss to her palm.

Her lips parted, her gaze flickering to my mouth, but said nothing.

“How long are you going to be gone?” I finally asked, my voice smaller.

Kamala paused, watching my face carefully. “Six days.”

I sighed curling deeper into her, letting my body mold into hers. She exhaled slowly, pressing her lips to my temple, holding me closer by the waist.

I closed my eyes, drinking in the moment, letting myself be selfish for a second. Then against the warmth of her skin, I mumbled, “I think I'm jealous.”

Kamala pulled back slightly, raising a brow, amusement flickering across her face. “Jealous?”

“Mhm.” I nuzzled against her neck, sighing dramatically, shifting just enough in her lap to feel the way her fingers tightened around my waist. “Of whoever gets to be there after your next rally.”

Kamala blinked, caught off guard, before letting out a deep genuine laugh.

I grinned, proud of myself.

“Because,” I continued, shifting again, “if this is what happens after every rally, I should be there.”

Kamala’s laugh was louder this time, her breath hot against my check. Then, before I could say anything else, she tilted forward, brushing her lips against my jaw, her voice full of amusement.

“Oh sweetheart.” she smirked, her tone teasing. “No one else gets my post-rally energy like this.”

I hummed, pressing a kiss to the side of her neck. “Well I would hope not.”

“You’d get me into trouble if you were there after every rally.” she mused, her grip possessive.

I smirked resting my forehead against hers, letting my fingers skim along the edge of her blazer. “But wouldn't it be so fun?”

Kamala chuckled. Then just as quickly, her expression softened.

Her voice was quieter this time.

“We’re going to be apart a lot,” she admitted, exhaling like she hated saying it out loud. “But I promise, when this is all over, no matter which way it goes, we’ll have time.”

I swallowed, my fingers tightening around the lapel of her blazer, my chest aching at the weight of her words.

I nodded, letting my lips brush hers, whispering against her mouth.

“I'll hold you to that.”
