Chapter Text
You know something I'd never think I would do in my eighth grade year was get ISD or In School Detention. Which was still better than getting detention or even expelled but still. And that's not even the half of it; I got a referral that goes on my records, 2 weeks of community service (Thanks a lot by the way "Mom"), and I'm about to get another earful after the two I got last night. And you may ask, "Ariah what did you do that was that bad?"
I started a food fight.
Some of you may be like, "Ohh that's not that bad." so before you say that it really is.
This was because I decided to keep a rivalry going with one of my homeboys Kofi. So what I did was throw a small piece of broccoli at his shoulder while he wasn't looking because well HE WASN'T LOOKING. And instead of shrugging it off like a normal person he decided to throw a huge piece of Orange Chicken at my back staining one of my newer sweaters I just got. And since I didn't take that as an 'okay maybe it's time to stop' I kept going.
"Alright Kofi it's on sight bro."
And with that I threw an open container of ranch that we only get one of most of the time to throw it at the back out his jacket while he was standing up trying to get away.
"Bullseye bitch."
"Nah watch when I get you back"-
But fast forward to today which is the day after the incident I'm currently looking over at Kofi after I told him that we had an hour left of this and he looked at me and mouthed, "Fuck You" which is not very polite to say in an instance like this with three other kids in the room but at least he didn't actually say it. Mostly because I said "huh" you know, like a deaf person.
And I had also showed the detention teacher at the time Mr. Williams that I had wrote a story last year in Mr. Armstrong's class (Seventh Grade Writing Teacher). And he said it was great that I had did all of that.
"I honestly hope I go famous with this"
And then he had said something that I'm now starting to realize to be true
"There's no point of being famous if you're not rich"
Yes that's what he said I'm not even making this up. But to be honest it makes sense. The world we live in now has a lot of changes like the terrifies and even racism.
I'll write the next bit tomorrow though but I hope whoever reads this understands how I feel
