Work Text:
With a towel wrapped over my hair and in one of Draco’s old quidditch jerseys. I walk into the kitchen. Normally, I would be at Draco's flat but not tonight. Tonight was my last night as a Snape. This time tomorrow night, I will be a Malfoy.
With a wave of my hand, the kettle on the stove starts to heat up. A knock on the window pulls me from my thoughts. I smile brightly, recognizing the owl. Hermes, Draco’s barn owl, a gift from me. “Hello pretty bird.” I coo, scratching under his chin. “I am so glad to see you.”
Grabbing my tea and the letter, I settle into bed, pulling the dozens of blankets I own on top of me. Taking a quick sip, I place my cuppa on the side table. Tracing over the handwriting, a small smile forms on my face.
Dear Snape,
I can remember the first time we met. Mother forced me to attend to tea at your house. Stated I needed to spend time with my godfather. I sat on that dreadful chair your father kept in the living room, pouting that I was forced against my will and was being held hostage.
I giggle, shaking my head. Bloody drama queen.
Mother, tired of my moaning, forced me to go outside. Where I saw that dreadful monster. You pushed me onto the ground, hearing me called the damn thing fat. I remember the way the sun shined off your beautiful black hair as you stood over me.
Ever since that day, I knew you were it. The biggest pain in my arse. The prettiest arse too.
I roll my eyes. Flirt.
You deserve so much better than me. You could do so much better, but everyday I am grateful you choose me, me and all my issues. I love you so much. I can’t wait to see you in that dress walking down the aisle.
I’ll be the handsome wizard in the sexiest robes you have ever seen.
I can't wait to see you soon to be Mrs Malfoy.
Your, Ferret
“You are sunlight through a window, which I stand in, warmed. My darling.”
