Suho loves Sieun's eyes.
Some say the eyes are the window to the soul. Suho wonders if that's why he enjoyed watching his best friend's eyes for hours on end. Maybe that way, he could unravel thoughts that Sieun couldn't express.
Suho loves Sieun's bright eyes.
His stomach would churn every time he looked into those adorable and so expressive eyes, an ugly feeling of possessiveness growing inside him: he didn't want the other to look at anyone else that way.
Suho loves Sieun's smiling eyes.
He wanted to stay by Sieun's side until the end of his life, to make him smile more, more, and more to be able to see more of that look.
Suho loves Sieun's tearful eyes.
368 days. Suho went so long without seeing the eyes he loved so much. Seeing Sieun there, looking breathless and with eyes shining with unshed tears of happiness was a relief. He thought he might never have that vision again.
“How it’s going?”
“Good.”
His eyes turn to the three boys behind Sieun.
“Who are those guys?”
“My friends.”
“That’s good to see.”
Sieun smiles, tears starting to stream down his face. Suho opens his arms, hoping his friend understands. Sieun, as always, does.
They hug at an awkward angle because of the wheelchair he's sitting in, but it doesn't matter. All that matters is that they are together again. The worst is over.
Suho loves Sieun, and everything will be alright.
