Work Text:
>last day of senior year
>class of 2010
>it was one of those days you wish you could die on
>the kind that don’t get much better
>beside you was your black feline anthro friend, Lucas
>Lucas was exceptionally pretty despite his simple black coat
>those emerald eyes striking against the black fur of his face, smiling at you
>pure joy in that beautiful face of his
>the kind of moment you wish you could freeze in time and stare at forever
>even if you took a picture it wouldn’t capture the pure simple pleasure which elicited ecstasy in those few seconds
>you’d both been walking home after your final classes
>it had mostly been small talk and banter between the two of you
>talking about where you were going, what you both were going to do
>Lucas, courageous as he was, was gonna go for medical school to become some sorta doctor
>what kind?
>he didn’t quite have it all exactly figured out yet
>that was alright, you figured, he’d find something, that was always like him
>he shined a warm, toothy smile at that remark
>your eyes met again for a second
>you saw nothing but admiration in his eyes
>for what?
>you didn’t even know what you were gonna do, yet
>”Could always tag along with me!”
>oh gosh, you didn’t want him to tempt you
>you wanted that so bad
>you two had been best friends for as long as you could both remember
>you basically both shared each other’s houses
>both of your families considered each other their second son
>the thought of him leaving, cutting you loose
>that was too much to bear
>you didn't wanna think about that now
>someone must've been looking out for you, though
>clouds began rolling in
>their dark expanse covered the sun in a non-malicious, almost friendly way, like a shield
>the gentle, lukewarm rain drops began to hit your head
>you watched as Lucas' whiskers flicked with every little tap to his head
>you were both gonna get wet
>neither of you cared
>but you both ran back to your house, it was closer
>rain fell harder, you both ran faster
>faking discomfort, you'd both turn to each other every so often to make sure the other didn't fall behind
>every time your eyes met, a smile shared
>simple days, these were
>happier still
>you both reached your house and you swung open the front door and both practically leaped in
>more like you both fell over each other
>you both laughed
>you sat there in the foyer dripping warm, wet, celestial drops
>even though all his fur drooped, his ears in “airplane mode”, he wore a small smile exasperated from the sprint
>you wished he was yours
>his eyes scanned your face
>his pupils were dilated
>you knew
>but you didn't want to ruin the moment
>after catching your breath, you got up and walked to the guest bathroom just down the hall, past the stairs to grab two towels
>you tossed him his
>you waited to dry off, watching as his damp fur went from drooping to frizzing out
>you chuckled
>he stopped to look at you with an almost mock inquisitive look
>you quickly began drying yourself off
>he knew
>but he didn't want to ruin the moment
>it wouldn't be weird to give your bro fresh clothes, right?
>just like it wouldn't be weird to change in the same room together
>at the same time
>right?
>...
>you both hurried up the stairs, you took his hand in yours almost habitually, as if you'd done it before in previous lives, and lead him to your room
>you rustled through your dresser
>got him a sweatshirt and sweatpants and the same for yourself
>you pulled yourself out of the dresser
>he stared at you with bated breath
>neither of you knew what to say
>neither of you wanted to risk ruining what you had
>yet both of you wanted the same thing
>you both silently turned around
>you had a small clock on your dresser you could see his rear reflection in
>he had a framed poster he could use
>you both liked what you saw
>the flushed skin of your face was much more telling than his fur, but his expression and pupils much more than yours
>as you finished, Lucas flipped up his hood, pressing his ears beneath the fabric
>it was thundering outside
>it drew your attention, Lucas just slightly shuddered
>you wanted to protect him
>you want to hold him and show him a world of happiness beyond of compare
>you wanted to wake up with him in your arms
>you wanted to smell his fur in the morning, his shampoo at night
>you wanted to have a family and grow old with him
>you couldn't imagine any other kind of life than one with him
>as the thunder rolled, you thought out a plan
>”Anything you wanna do?”
>Lucas shrugged
>”Yeah, me neither.”
>you put together a few pillows and blankets on the floor at the side of your bed
>”Get comfy”
>Lucas let his cat side get the better of him as he almost curled up amongst the cushions as you went to grab your laptop
>you sat about a person's width between you two, and brought up YouTube
>when neither of you had anything else you wanted to do, this was always a joy
>you both had your own things you liked to watch in your spare times alone
>but together, you could watch anything and have fun
>you brought up one of those beta Minecraft youtubers
>just to clear the air, have someone talking
>you both watched and listened silently, breathing softly
>until finally
>”C'mon, dude, bring it closer! I can't see from here!”
>you scooted a bit over
>”Closer!”
>you scooted more
>”What, ‘re you afraid I'm gonna bite or something?”
>finally you got so close to him, his head was leaning in the crook of your elbow, your hands both on the keyboard where the laptop was living up to its namesake
>”That's better”
>he had a sultry yet satisfied tone to his voice
>he was purring
>he rumbled like an engine
>you could get used to this
>you decided to scoot in a bit closer
>he shifted his head to your shoulder, leaning on it, softly
>his purring, still mainly steady, developed a sort of hiccup in the rhythm
>he was breathing heavier
>his purring deeper
>you were breathing heavier too
>neither of you were paying attention to the video
>you could see his muzzle lift up as if to look at up at you from beneath the hood
>you turned to him
>you paused the video
>”Hm?”
>and you both just stopped
>silence
>deafening silence
>you could hear a bug walk across the floor it was that quiet
>both hearts beating out of your chests
>and yet beating in rhythm
>badump
>badump
>badump
>like the steady beating of a ritual drum
>would you both take this chance?
>would you both ruin what you had for the sake of a cheap thrill?
>no
>you'd both make this moment last
>if you were going to regret anything, it wouldn't be not shooting your shot
>you both turned towards each other
>your nose not even two inches from his muzzle
>his small, lithe body pressing up against you
>his maw agape slightly, his breath ghosting upon your face
>you took control
>you pressed your lips against his so hard sparks flew beneath your skull
>it was as if you were witnessing the heat death of your universe and the birth of an entirely new, beautiful yet foreign one
>it was everything you dreamed of
>you cupped his soft, furry face
>he whimpered
>he gently clasped your wrist with his soft black paw, inviting you closer
>you obliged
>you continued kissing him, not wanting to break the moment, not wanting to let words slip where only actions could speak clearly
>you crawled on top of him, pressing your body against his in a domineering fashion
>finally
>he was yours
>you slowly grabbed his wrists and pinned them to the cushions beneath, above his head
>your groins rubbed against each other
>stains grew in both pairs of your sweatpants
>you continued the kiss as you rubbed together
>you gently brushed one hand down his arm to his waist, then back up his shirt
>his soft fuzzy belly, his warm beating chest
>you split only for a mere second to catch your breaths
>he let out a soft moan before you silenced it, diving back in
>you wanted more
>you wanted everything this moment could provide
>you were tasting Heaven, and only God Himself could drag you out of His kingdom
>you groped him
>he rubbed against you, begging for release
>his tail wrapped around your waist, urging you closer
>you pressed as hard as you could against him
>he began shuddering
>you interlocked fingers with the hand you still had pinned to the floor
>he let out a soft, needy moan as he quivered in orgasm
>his climax brought upon yours
>you let your bodies crash into each other, breaking the kiss and simply embracing, shoving your heads into the crooks of your necks
>he let out a mewl of release
>you let out a primal grunt of satisfaction
>his tail slinked from around your waist, spiraling up your arm and into the hand groping his chest, and slipped its end beneath your palm
>he wanted you
>you wanted him
>and that was enough to make this world look beautiful
