Zane is sitting on the couch of his dorm scrolling on his phone. Suddenly Noland bursts through the door hand on his nose, was he bleeding? He looked super roughed up. Noland heads to the bathroom muttering curses, Zane has to do something, this is his roommate after all. On the other hand he doesn’t like to get into drama, and he doesn’t know Noland that well. Zane decides to try and help him anyway, he walks up to the bathroom door “hey um” he thinks for a moment “uh how you doing in there…buddy?”.
The cat boy giggles from behind the door, not a happy giggle sort of a can’t help but giggle. “Could I come in” Zane asks nervously, the door opens slightly ajar. Inside is a dark haired boy crying, his face is bruised and his nose is bleeding.
Zane kneels down next to him “what happened to you” he exclaims.
Noland pulls zane in for a hug, you can’t really refuse a hug from a crying boy so he grabs the meifwa back. “I’m so horrible” Noland whimpers, Zane pulls back “what do you mean how could this be your fault” he points at the other boys face.
“This guy was being mean to my friend so I followed him around and annoyed him because I was mad… eventually he got really annoyed and beat me up”. Zane hesitates for a moment “well you definitely could’ve handled the situation better but that guy shouldn’t have reacted so badly”.
Noland wipes his tears “I know… can I hug you?” Zane purses his lips and hugs Noland tight. Noland closes his eyes holding on to Zane tightly.
