Work Text:

Doctor sung had been in charge of both the medical and repairs for the crew since they joined together as a band. the hardest part had been learning how to treat such vastly different species. today was checkup day, Meouch had been fine aside from some light scratches and cuts, Phobos was also good and only needed his T shot, so now it was Havves turn.

the drummer had always hated being worked on, feeling hands on and in him had put him on edge with feelings that he couldn't pinpoint. it caused small flashes of memories that weren't really his to flash in his mind, sung had worked with him through it and though he still had no memories of his past he felt himself become more comfortable around the others. putting his feelings to the back of his mind and climbing onto the exam table, he laid back and focused of the lights above him.

"This wont take long Havve, just a routine check up." Sung had a small rolling table with a few tools that he pushed towards the exam area. "But first off, anything new? emotions, memories, problems?" sung asked while looking the bot over.

Havve looked through his processor for anything that stuck out, Recently he had been feeling odd compulsions. and though mostly felt around the doctor, it seemed to follow him day to day. he found himself almost overwhelmed with newfound cravings, he hadn't realized to could be a problem until Danny had caught him in the ships bathroom while in a compromising position when he was visiting the crusaders. Danny still laughed when Havve walked into a room.

he projected his worry and newfound feelings through their mental link, his feelings both surrounding himself and the doctor had him at a loss. he wanted to be close to him, to hold him, but at the same time when around he couldn't process the world around him when sung was near him. Through research and an uncomfortable follow-up talk with Dan he had sorted and identified his feelings, though it didn't make any of it easier. he looked over at the doctor, it almost hurt to be so close and yet he wanted to reach out to him anyway. they had been close, slowly exploring the concept of romance and closeness in a way that both of them were comfortable with, but this was new and unexplored territory.

Sung paused as he processed the thoughts being shared, jaw going slack as he turned to his partner. he hadn't considered that he could have any emotions like that, he hadn't been responsive to anything other than romance and calm affection while then had been together. And though he reciprocated he felt conflicted, did Havve fully understand the inflection of his thoughts or the depth of these feelings? He took a breath before grabbing one of his tools. "well, I'm sure we could talk that out while I work. a distraction might help." a smiled graced his face and Havve felt his 808 drum stutter for a moment.

sung reached to remove Havves chest plate, fingers running under the line of armor plating to find the release. Havve froze in place, eyes growing brighter at the feeling of Sungs deft fingers trailing the seam of his chest. the feeling echoed from Havve to sung causing him to pause. "are you okay? I can stop." he lifted his hands slightly away from Havve incase it was to much for him. Havve grabbed his hand placing it back where it had been, his free hand forming a thumbs up. sung nodded before continuing. "how much do you currently understand about these feelings?" his fingers found the latch, opening the chest panel while he spoke. Havves hand raised to the doctors arm, the light squeeze of his digits around his arm meant to be a gesture of trust and affection while doing his best to share his familiarity and research. sung could almost hear the screaming of Havves mind. it was a mess of overwhelming tension and emotions, he was surprised at how much Havve seemed to be holding back since he had been known to be the most impulsive of the band.

Havve nodded, hand finding its way up to Sungs face thumb tracing his jawline. his mind burned with emotions that felt violently intrusive and perfectly natural, reaching through the link to the doctors mind. he felt the mans apprehension and affection, the familiarity of his emotions and the likeness to his own thoughts was comforting in a way. with that assurance: sung leaned down to place a light kiss on Havves jaw. the bot leaned into the movement using his hand to draw the doctor as close as possible. sung leaned back with a grin "I should finish your exam, then we can talk about this."

Havves hand fell back to the table as sung reached into his chest. fingers trailing along wires and mechanisms to find what he was looking for until he found it and pulled it towards where the opening of the cavity was. "your rhythm movement unit still seems functional but could use a tune up, its most likely getting worn out during missions. I could upgrade it during your next checkup if you want?" Sungs voice seemed to fade into the background as his hands tugged at Havves wires, sensors fairing as his RMU was opened and adjusted. he did his best not to squirm as sung worked, but the feeling of shifting components and wires being rearranged overwhelmed him had started causing him to overheat. it was only a few moments before his fans kicked on.

"are you okay?? did I hurt you?" sung looked worried but kept his hands still to avoid further damage. the bot gave a thumbs up, sending as much reassurance though the link as he could while distracted. sung basked in the feeling but soon caught a glimpse of the bots particular situation. a small smile graced his face "okay, well if its to much then let me know." he pressed another light kiss to the side of Havves head before going back to work but this time he was extra careful and taking his time with each wire and connection. the sound of his 808 drum getting louder and his fans accelerating got louder, dulling out any other noise around them. sung put the unit back in place and lightly grazed his nails along the inner edge of its compartment causing a small mechanical whine to emit from Havves internal processors.

"do you want me to keep going?" sung leaned forward as he spoke. have only writhed and reached for him. " I need an answer if you want more." Sung pulled back before Havve could pull him towards his faceplate again.

Havve responded with nodding and pleading through the mental connection they shared, trying to pull the doctor closer yet. sung chuckled at his antics before relenting and pressing a series of kisses onto Havves face and trailing down to his open chest. nails catching the edges of his paneling and teeth catching one of the thicker wires of his chest forced him to arch up into the man. sung used one of his hands to press him back down by the waist, biting down a bit harder and tugging at the wire in his mouth. Havves fans stopped being able to keep up but seemed to get even louder as he fell further into the feeling of the smaller man above him. the buzzing of his processors reached a high point, steam rapidly escaping him as sung reached in and pulled a few of his thinner wires. though it was nothing damaging it made his mind buzz and sung shared in that feeling, deepening their link as he continued. pulling his mouth away from the wires, he moved to trail kisses and bites to the mesh cover of Havves 808. Havve felt himself tip over the edge, overloading as his internal sensors went on the fritz.

sung leaned up and away before looking down to check on him, only to find him powered down as his 808 slowed to a slow steady rhythm. it took a few seconds for his eye lights to flicker back on and his internal mechanisms to start whirring yet again. "are you okay? was that to much?" sung asked as he closed the still open chest panel. Havve leaned up to press the front of his jaw to the doctors forehead, carful to avoid nicking him with the sharp points. "I'll take that as a good sign. I'm glad I could make you feel like that." sung leaned forward against the larger bot, placing his forehead against the bots shoulder. it felt right. and though it had taken some trial and error to figure out their relationship, they were happy.
