Vi huffs as her sister Jinx tries to convince her to go out with her and Jinx’s girlfriend, Lux, out to a new country themed, gay bar that had opened up called, “Wild West”.
“Jinx, you know I have work to do”, Vi mumbles out as she peers over her laptop at her sister, her eyes narrowing as her blue haired sister smirked and also saw the cute blonde that somehow put up with said sister.
“Oh, come on, Vi! It’s been ages since you’ve gone out to do anything remotely fun!!! Take a break!!!”, Jinx pleas out with Vi, giving her older sibling the biggest puppy eyes that she could muster, grinning as Vi glares, rolls her eyes and finally sets her laptop aside. “YES!!! Ok, so it’s not our normal scene, but… It’s opening night and they have like insane drink specials!!! And a mechanical bull!!!!”
Vi raises a brow as she sighs, “I’m not getting drunk, though. Ok? I’ve got meetings in the morning, because some of us have companies to run?”
“Vi, just for tonight, please? You haven’t let loose since…”, Jinx swallows hard as Vi’s eyes pierce hers, and she sighs. “Alright, no getting wasted for Vi, which means more for Luxxy poo and me!!!”
Lux and Vi share a glance and Lux shrugs, “Alright babe, but not too much!!! Last time we got so drunk that you ripped your shirt off and waved it at a cop!!!”
Vi snorts, “I’ll go get changed, I guess”, shaking her head as she opens her laptop back up to turn it off, and then making her way to her bedroom. Once inside, she shuts the door and goes to her closet, raising a brow as she searches her clothes for something that screamed, “Professional and gay but themed for the bar as well.”
She selects a pair of bootcut jeans, a nice polo shirt that accentuated her biceps just right, and grabbed a pair of Doc Marten boots to complete it. Once she was ready, she looks at herself in her bedroom mirror and sighs, “Just one night, and then you go back to your boring life…”
“Alright, I’m ready”, Vi calls out as she opens the door to her room, groaning as Jinx and Lux hurry over to her and grab her hands to pull her out of the apartment, as she longingly eyed her laptop in the process…
“Cait, wait up!!!!”, Jayce calls out as he and his girlfriend Mel leave his car, sighing as his best friend bolted for the bar’s entrance. He’d known Caitlyn since they were little, and had become the closest of friends but ever since her father had died five years before, Caitlyn's other best friend, she’d become a wild child. At twenty-four years old, Caitlyn had dropped out of college when her father, Tobias, had passed and begun rebelling against her Councilwoman mother, Cassandra Kiramman.
“Jayce, hurry up!!”, Caitlyn screeches out in impatience, rolling her eyes as he and Mel finally joined her. She bounces up and down on her cowgirl boots, black cowgirl hat on her head, with a brown button-down western shirt open to show her cleavage off. The young woman might be a rebel, but she was a fantastic barrel racer and horse trainer.
Caitlyn was known for having several hookups at the rodeos, only women of course as she was a very out lesbian, and Jayce was her calm in the storm that was her life. But tonight, she was excited to check out Piltover’s very first country gay bar, hopeful to land a pretty girl that night and get drunk as a skunk, despite a big rodeo the next day.
Mel chuckles as she watches Caitlyn, “Oh Jayce, let her have tonight…” She then checks her phone and leans in close to Jayce, “Isn’t today the anniversary?”, she whispers into her boyfriend’s ear, making him grimace and nod.
“Five years ago, today… But her mother will kill me, literally, if she comes home wasted and if she makes the news again… “Councilwoman Kiramman’s daughter yet again, outdoes herself but not in the ring, at the bar… In a woman’s pants…”
“You know as well as I do that she needs this right now, a distraction and then tomorrow, we rodeo”, Mel shrugs out, as she herself was a pole bender, and Jayce did reining.
Jayce sighs, “Fine”, managing a smile as Caitlyn eagerly shows the bouncer outside the bar her ID and is let inside with them behind her as they flash their own ID’s to the buzzcut lesbian at the door…
Vi winces as she sits at the bar with Jinx and Lux, the music making her head ache as it had been the most ridiculous music yet, but she nurses her whiskey sour slowly as Jinx orders them some wings to share.
Jinx giggles as she and Lux loop arms and chug shots of tequila that had been lit with a torch by the bartender, making Vi groan and pinch the space between her brows. “Come on, Vi!!! Do a shot with us!!!”, she shouts out over the music, making Vi groan and shake her head. “Pleaseeeee”, she pouts out, making Vi sigh and hold her hand out for one as the bartender pushed more forward to them.
Vi grimaces as she chugs it down, gasping from the burn of the alcohol and literal fire from the shot. She then sees how Jinx’s eyes widen, and her sister points out at the mechanical bull, “Go ahead, I’ll finish my drink.” She smiles as Jinx and Lux race off and then feels a warm body bump into her side, and was about to snap until the body leans over the bar along with a man and a dark-haired woman with darker skin, but the woman leaning over the bar…
Vi felt herself gulp as the girl looks at her with a grin as she’s handed a bottled Corona, taking a large sip before the girl with dark blue hair winks at her and carries her beer out to the dance floor...
“Disco Cowgirl”, by G-Flip, begins to play as Caitlyn bounces onto the dance floor and looks over at the redhaired woman with biceps to drool over and tattoos on her neck. She grins as she nods at the woman, causing Jayce and Mel to turn their focus on the redhead as she begins to dance to the music while chugging on her beer.
“You were a wild card…”
“I knew you were trouble, babe…”
“Oh, oh…”
Jayce and Mel nudge Vi from both sides, “Hey our friend would love it if you’d go dance with her”, they say smiling, making Vi raise a brow and then look over at where Caitlyn was grinning at her while dancing. Vi sighs, “Fine, one dance”, shaking her head as she sets her glass down and awkwardly makes her way to where Caitlyn was, while Jinx and Lux rush over to Jayce and Mel.
“So, who’s your friend?”, Jinx grins out to Mel and Jayce as they chuckle and point at Caitlyn. “Hot… My sister is the redhead… She needs to let loose tonight, think your friend can help with that?”
“Oh dear, if anyone can, it’s our Cait”, Mel chuckles out, and the four instantly make a bet as to what the two women dancing would do together…
“Oh, no, you never stay long…”
“Star studded, a runaway…”
“Oh, oh…”
Vi and Caitlyn eye each other as Caitlyn grins and dances around her, “I’m Caitlyn!!! What’s your name, stud?”, she shouts out over the music, giggling as she dances to the music and bounce away still.
Vi nods as she tries her best to copy Caitlyn’s dancing, “Vi!!! Umm, how do you dance to this?”, blinking as Caitlyn giggles and gets up close to her, placing delicate arms over Vi’s shoulders and telling her to hold her by the waist.
“I took an arrow straight to the heart…”
“Hot shot…”
“As she whispered to me in the dark…”
Caitlyn smiles, “How’s this?”, grinning now as Vi shrugs and dances with her. She giggles, “Now, watch”, she winks out as she leans in close to whisper into Vi’s ear before pulling out of Vi’s arms to dance in front of her.
“For one night, I’ll rock your world…”
“But don’t go fallin’ for a country girl…”
“Oh-oh-oh, I can still see your face…”
Vi feels her mouth go dry and any sense of self-preservation goes out the window as Caitlyn unbuttons her shirt a bit more, and she feels her thighs involuntarily clench together as she watches the woman dance for her and only for her as their eyes lock onto the other…
“Watchin’ you dancin’ on the table…”
“Saying, “Oh baby, I never felt this way…”
“Oh-oh-oh, walkin away…”
Caitlyn maintains eye contact with Vi as she races to the bar counter, jumping up onto it to dance on the bar, making several people hoot and holler for her as she tipped her cowgirl hat down and began to twerk on the bar, winking to Vi as the redhead gaped at her.
She giggles and then plops onto the counter, motioning for Vi to come forward and smiling as if Vi was pulled forward by an invisible leash, eyes locked on each other as she smiles to the redhead, while ignoring how her friends and two girls were eyeballing them.
“Could’ve been my disco cowgirl…”
“But you rode off into the sunset without me…”
“You’re going down real strong… “Hey!””
Vi swallows hard as she watches the woman, wild and carefree as she approaches her and turns to eye Jinx and Lux as they and Caitlyn’s friends shoot her a thumbs up, but she then yelps as Caitlyn grabs her by the collar of her shirt without warning to pull her into a kiss. She blinks and then relaxes into it as Caitlyn caresses her cheek and slips her tongue past her own, making a soft moan escape her lips now.
“Like whiskey and lemonade…”
“Oh, oh…”
“The glitter on your eyes…”
“Wanna dance again?”, Caitlyn murmurs into Vi as she pulls back out of the kiss. She smirks as she sees how dazed Vi looked now and giggles, “Come on cutie”, smiling as she hops off the bar counter, turns to grab an offered shot from Mel and grabs Vi’s hand to drag her back to dance again.
“I still find it, oh, it never fades…”
“Just like your kiss…”
“I close my eyes and feel your lips…”
“You kissed me!”, Vi blurts out, still in disbelief as Caitlyn smirks and nods to her. She swallows hard as Caitlyn turns around and presses herself into Vi’s front, and her hands by instinct go to Caitlyn’s waist as they continued to dance together.
“You didn’t seem to complain”, Caitlyn grins out as she tilts her head back to rest it against Vi’s, closing her eyes as they danced together. “So, tell me, Vi… What’s someone as uptight as you, doing at a bar tonight?”
“Oh, I took an arrow straight to the heart…”
“Hot shot…”
“As she whispered to me in the dark…”
“My sister said I needed to let loose”, Vi huffs out, eyes wide as Caitlyn hums and presses her ass further into her. She swallows hard at the frontal contact, and lets herself relax, “Why are you here?”, she asks the woman who just sighs and says it was to distract herself.
“For one night, I’ll rock your world…”
“But don’t go fallin’ for a country girl…”
“Oh-oh-oh, I can still see your face…”
“My father passed away, five years ago tonight! My mom thinks I need to slow down, but father would’ve let me dance!!! So, here I am…”, Caitlyn admits, now biting her bottom lip as Vi stiffened against her. She turns around and wraps her arms around Vi’s neck, “Want to get out of here?”, she asks softly, looking into Vi’s eyes as the redhead took a deep breath and nodded, making Caitlyn grin with a pleased nod, taking Vi’s hand once more to drag her to the restrooms…
The song continued to play as Caitlyn pressed Vi against the wall of a bathroom stall, kissing her deeply as she pressed her knee into Vi, and humming into Vi’s lips as the redhead gasped against her. She smiles, “Easy tiger”, she purrs out as she nuzzles their noses together while letting her hands drift to her shirt, undoing the rest of the buttons on her shirt to let Vi ogle her now exposed chest, smirking as Vi’s eyes widened at the sight of her perky breasts, her nipples hard and eager.
Vi swallows hard, “You… You’re beautiful, but…”, she winces as she pulls away from Caitlyn. “I can’t… I just, I don’t do hookups.”
Caitlyn bites at her lip, tugging it between her teeth as she eyes Vi, sighing in defeat as she puts her shirt back together. “Alright, so no bathroom sex with the hot redhead, got it…” She turns around in embarrassment, never having been rejected like this before and tears fall from her eyes as she held her sobs back, sinking to the floor of the stall while Vi watched her in concern.
“You know… No one’s ever said no to me before… So, this is how it feels, huh? To be rejected for sex… Huh… I don’t know how I feel, but I shouldn’t cry…” Caitlyn sniffles and covers her face as the tears fell, shaking while Vi sighed and dropped to her knees to remove Caitlyn’s hands from her face. She frowns as Vi grabs some toilet paper and dabs at her face, managing a tearful smile as Vi remove her messed up makeup and cleaned her up.
“There… Beautiful”, Vi whispers out, smiling softly as she relaxed her shoulders and moved to sit next to the blue-haired girl. She sighs, “My dad and mom died… Five years ago too… Car crash… I inherited the family businesses from them, and let me tell you… Running two companies isn’t fucking easy, and I guess it’s another reason why my sister and her girlfriend made me come out tonight, but now…”
She eyes Caitlyn, “I think I was meant to be here tonight and meet you”, she says softly, causing Caitlyn to look at her now. She smiles sadly, “I’ve not let loose since the night of their car crash… It’s funny, grief… How it changes you… I used to be a party animal but… After mom and dad died, I just… I knew I had to make them proud and just got more serious than anything… Jinx rebelled by becoming a wild child instead of me, and I became the serious sister.”
“My father died in a car crash too”, Caitlyn whispers out, sniffling as Vi blinks at her. She sighs, “He was bringing home a new horse for me, a mare with a pedigree anyone would dream to have in their barn… I was at school in Noxus, about to be out for summer break when the crash happened… Mother phoned me when I was in the middle of my criminal justice class, as I was going to become a lawyer, but…”
She takes a deep breath, “It was dark and… A semi crashed into the trailer, and another two cars got hit too… They all rolled together. My father and my horse, both dead on the scene… All the other drivers too… But the semi driver made it out…” She grits her teeth, “He bloody made it out and got nothing in turn!!! Said he had a heart attack or some other stupid shit!!!”
Vi feels time freeze as she knew exactly who one of the other dead drivers was, and she shivers as she quickly stands up. She offers a hand to Caitlyn, “You said you wanted to get out of here… I know a place… How about burgers and the greasiest fries with a milkshake? Hmm, Disco Cowgirl?”
Caitlyn manages a chuckle, wiping her tears as she nods to Vi. “First time for being called that, but that sounds lovely.” She accepts Vi’s hand and lets herself be pulled to her feet, shakily pressing a kiss to Vi’s cheek as she held her hand still and smiled, “We should tell my friends and your family that we’re ditching them. Can they get home alright?”
Vi snorts, “If I let Lux know, she’ll call them a cab, no biggie… Come on”, smiling as she sees Caitlyn’s eyes sparkle and she shakes her head as she wonders just what she was getting herself into, while also feeling herself instantly fall for this girl, knowing that they’d each lost family the same night…
Five years ago…
The wait at Jericho’s was short and they sat next to each other as they ate their burgers and fries, regular for Vi and sweet potato ones for Caitlyn. They chuckle and Caitlyn tells Vi about the rodeo the next day, sad when Vi says she won’t be able to attend but that she’ll do her best to watch it on tv.
Caitlyn nudges Vi and smiles, “So, miss uptight… What do you think about this wild, Disco Cowgirl that’s sitting with you?” She grins as Vi manages a blush, “Adorable… Well, let me see your phone?”
Vi shrugs and hands her phone over, curious and feeling her heart race as Caitlyn saved her number into her phone as “Disco Cowgirl”, chuckling as she takes her phone back. “Alright, well… I have an early morning tomorrow... Meetings with both companies and such… You want me to call you a cab, or I could um, drive you home?”
Caitlyn smirks, “My hero… I think I can manage a cab though, as my mother would certainly freak out if a stud like you brought me home this late… I will need to call Jayce and Mel for a cover story, but… Tonight with you has been lovely, Vi.”
Vi smiles, “Yeah umm, I’ve had fun… Dinner’s on me by the way”, humming as Caitlyn blushes and pulls her phone out to call Jayce. She chuckles at the faces the young woman makes as she talks to her friend, and she shoots Jinx a quick text.
“Hey sis, I’m at Jericho’s… Want me to bring you and Lux something? Nevermind, I’ll just order your usuals… Be home soon—Vi”
Caitlyn hears a car honk outside and she groans, “Bloody hell… Looks like Jayce found me anyways, damn GPS tracker shit… Vi, thank you for your company tonight. I’ll umm, see you around sometime? And thanks for dinner”, smiling as she turns to cup Vi’s chin as she kisses her softly, licking her lips before pulling away and snickering as Vi’s face reddens in a deep blush.
“Wait!! Umm, do you want to do this again, sometime?”, Vi calls out as Caitlyn had already headed to the door.
Caitlyn smiles, “Message me”, winking as she heads outside and leaves Vi in the booth alone, both women feeling something change within them from just one encounter with the other, as Caitlyn stopped outside the burger place and shivered with a smile, before running to Jayce’s car and slipping inside, groaning as she got lectured, while Vi made an order for her sister and Lux, while being unable to get Caitlyn off her mind…
