Help, Himmel!

Summary:

Another dungeon, another Mimic...

Frieren just so happened to get stuck, so who was better to help than Himmel?

Work Text:

Despite the hundreds, if not thousands, of dungeons they’d gone through, Frieren always managed to get in the most strange predicaments. Of course, Himmel didn’t mind! When did he ever? She never tested his patience too much, if at all. Who was he to question Frieren’s quirks? Yet again, a Mimic caught Himmel’s dearest elf. After sharing a laugh or two, Heiter and Eisen carried on without them; Heiter was more than happy to whisk Eisen away for some drinks. Each gave Himmel a knowing look before departing. With the exit right ahead, Himmel wasn’t too concerned.

“Don’t get into too much trouble!” Heiter called back at him.

Himmel could only laugh and wave him away. “Tell that to Frieren. Look at all the trouble she’s making us go through.”

Truthfully, Himmel wasn’t sure if Heiter heard him or not. His friends’ footsteps were long gone before he even finished his sentence! That man was truly an alcoholic—Himmel trusted Eisen to take care of Heiter, not that he needed it. In return, they trusted him to take care of Frieren. Again, not necessary, but Himmel would willingly do so. As capable as she was, Himmel liked to think she appreciated the company. After all, the four of them made an interesting group! If she ever looked back on their journey together, he wanted her to remember that he stayed by her side.

Whenever Heiter and Eisen gave him chances to be alone with Frieren, he knew he was a goner. From the beginning, they’d always known how he felt. Yet, there was still something embarrassing about that fact. Was he really so obvious? If they could tell, then it was a wonder that Frieren never did. Sometimes, she would look at him, as if she was on the verge of figuring it out. However, she never did, or if she did, she never mentioned it.

“Himmel, are you still there?” Suddenly, he was reminded of the fact that she was very obviously stuck. Her attempts at escaping were clearly unsuccessful. With her derrière in the air, Himmel found it hard to look elsewhere. Sure, she’d been in that position before—many, many, many times—but now they were alone! At first, Himmel completely intended to wait for her to escape; he planned on sitting on a rock nearby until she burst out of the Mimic. However, he found that idea less appealing the more he stared. Without the others around, he didn’t have to avert his gaze. For a moment more, he took in the details.

“Just a minute, let me analyze the situation.”

A discontent noise came from Frieren, but he paid no mind. Every so often, she squirmed, but not as much as earlier. Whether she did or not, Himmel got quite the view. Of course, occasionally, he’d sneak glances during their journey. How could he not? Frieren was the woman of his dreams, and would always be! Ever since that day he got lost, she was all he could ever think of. So, wasn’t it only natural for him to appreciate her? Although he thought as much, he would hate for any other guy to think of her that way. Frieren was special; therefore, it was absolutely essential for Himmel to admire her. As a child, his gaze was completely innocent, but as a man? If Heiter’s indulgence was alcohol, then Himmel’s was Frieren.

“What exactly is there to analyze, Himmel? Help me.” As muffled as her voice was, he could already imagine her expression of distaste. “More than a minute has passed, if you weren’t aware.”

Immediately, Himmel was thankful she couldn’t see him—his face never felt hotter. Trying to be more confident than he felt, he hoped his voice didn’t give him away. “You’re very sure of that. For all we know, time passes by slower in this dungeon.”

To that, Frieren had no response. He was grasping at straws, but it wasn’t unlikely! The possibility was never zero… Clearly, Frieren took that into account. “If it was, then we wouldn’t know until we’re out. I doubt a Mimic has that ability either.” There was a pause. “Also, I counted.”

Torn between mortification and amusement, Himmel only sighed. He was glad that Frieren didn’t catch him ogling her… Though, truth be told, he still was. To see Frieren in such a compromising position was having an effect on him, more so than usual. Then again, when was the last time Himmel had privacy for some alone time? Whatever the case, he was thoroughly enjoying her predicament. Another part of him was perfectly content to just watch.

Something about the way her skirt rode upwards was tantalizing. Just below her skirt, her tights teased him with the hint of her thighs. If Himmel was a lesser man, he’d let his fingers wander underneath… Yet, he resisted. Such thoughts would be saved for later , whenever he was alone. As modest as her skirt was, Himmel was intrigued by the mystery hidden beneath it. Despite the temptation, he was a gentleman! His mind was in a haze; he couldn’t think properly. Frieren’s derrière was very, very distracting. With the sight burned into his memory, he focused on the task at hand.

“Considering there’s no other choice, I suppose I’ll have to pull you out, huh?” Himmel spoke as if he’d never done such a thing before. However, Eisen and Heiter were always around to help! When he really thought about it, they never did it themselves. Himmel was usually behind Frieren, then one of the others would be behind him… Not because he didn’t trust them! That was just how they were always positioned. Technically, Himmel didn’t need their help with pulling Frieren out—he was strong enough to save her by himself! Yet, with their usual support, they were partially his supervision… Oh no, was Himmel really no better than a common thug?

So far, his pride was preventing him from doing unsavory acts. If Frieren wanted him that way, wouldn’t it be obvious? Disregarding his perverted thoughts, Himmel took hold of her hips, the way he usually did. As soon as he did, he found it hard to focus on anything but that. Did he always grab her hips this way? Were his hands too low? To steady himself, he placed his hips behind hers. To get out quicker, Frieren pushed her hips back—

Immediately, Himmel grunted. Frozen in place, he looked down at a very appealing view. With Frieren’s hips in the air, her ass was right in sight. Stifling a groan, he bit down on his lip when he felt just how soft she was. His fingers dug into her curves , and he unconsciously pressed himself further against her. If only her clothes were off, the things he’d do…

“Frieren, wait, wait…” Himmel’s mind was not working the way he wanted it to. He was so hard , and she kept squirming. Why did she have to move her hips in such a way?

“Am I helping?”

“You’re certainly… doing something,” he mumbled.

Frieren had to notice—there was no way she didn’t. If he closed his eyes, would he focus better? Temporarily, it helped, until she made a whine. Of course, she usually did whenever she got stuck, but hearing it at that moment? His hips jerked forward and she gasped. She was not making the situation any better, at all. However, Himmel didn’t tell her as much. Honestly, it was embarrassing enough that he had a boner! If she felt it, she didn’t say anything about it. With how insistently it pressed against her, she had to know. If she mentioned it later, he’d apologize. For now, he steadied his position behind her and did his best to yank her out. With every tug, she made a noise… Try as he might to resist temptation, he pressed his hips against hers more.

Surprisingly, the adjustment helped. Yet, at what cost? Keeping his feet as steady as he could, he shifted his weight away from the Mimic as he held onto her. With her legs spread around him, he found the sight rather distracting. How his hands longed to hold her hips from underneath her skirt! Would it be wrong of him to see just how high she’d put her ass? How immoral of him… How crude! Plus, he much preferred her warmth on his dick. If she wrapped her plush thighs around him, he’d be a complete mess. With their position as it was, he was already leaking. Just the fact he was touching her was enough to make him throb.

Actually, he didn’t even have to touch her to get hard. A mere glance his way was enough to make his heart do tricks! Touching her simply made him long for more. No matter the results, he intended to help her. Assisting her to the best of his ability was all he could do… His ego wouldn’t be able to take it if he ran after Eisen and Heiter for help. Gripping Frieren’s hips, he grunted as he pulled with all of his might.

Again and again, Himmel tugged Frieren away. Little by little, she was slipping out of the Mimic, just not fast enough. Each second was complete torture for Himmel! If anything, he was practically humping her the more he held her. She was limp in his grasp, but he didn’t mind. That made it more convenient for him… At the same time, it made him question why it was so much harder to help her. Was the Mimic a stubborn one? That had to be it… What other explanation was there? The dungeon wasn’t an overly difficult one. Nothing about the day was that draining…

Oh, what Himmel would give for Frieren to drain him… After saving her, didn’t he deserve it? Himmel ignored the demon on his shoulder. Yet, the more he peeked down, the less inclined he was to use all of his strength. If he took his time, then the Mimic was bound to get tired. Rationalization wasn’t his strong suit, especially not with his excitement. Was there anyone who could resist the sight he saw?

Eventually, after more minutes of struggling, Himmel used the last of his strength. All of his efforts ended up with him on the floor… However, considering Frieren was on top of him, he had no complaints. More exhausted than he thought he’d be, he admired the view of Frieren sitting on his lap. Now, if she could ride him in that position, he’d die an even happier man! His gaze wandered from her ass to the curve of her waist. Nothing was more majestic than the way her hair cascaded over her shoulders and down her back. When she tilted her head back to peek at him, she gave him a content smile.

“Thank you. Next time, I’ll let you analyze longer, if it helps.”

Was Frieren teasing him? What was a man to do? Nearly every part of his body was limp, aside from the throbbing between his legs. Her weight on his lap was rather pleasant… There was no one else he would rather have on his lap. At this point, with how she was sitting on it, his lap belonged to her. Not that he would, but if she wanted him to be her seat, he’d gladly stray from his quest to defeat the Demon King. Obviously, it would be temporary, but he’d do it. There was nothing Himmel wouldn’t do for her.

Absolutely hypnotized, he found he was too distracted to let go of her. His fingers had yet to free her hips. When would he ever get another chance to hold them? Sure, there would be whenever she encountered a Mimic again, but when was that? Was he destined to only ever hold her when she got stuck? Himmel supposed there were worse fates to have. One such fate would be a life in which he never knew her at all. What kind of life would that be? A life without Frieren was unthinkable. With that thought in mind, Himmel breathlessly laughed up at her.

“How kind and considerate of you. If you’re offering, then who am I to deny your generosity?”

Notes:

"Help me, stepbro!" vibes... But nothing too explicit happens!

I could've had it end up with them doing the deed but... Himmel suffering is funny.
