It's so fucking cold.
Levi's wrapped in every blanket he could scrounge up, but neither the hot tea nor the wool sweater he'd stolen last year can keep winter's chill out of his bones.
"Come here," Furlan says from across the bedroom.
"Bed's too small for us both."
"It ain't."
After a moment's hesitation, Levi drags himself and the blankets over to Furlan's bed. They tangle up together, hands reaching under shirts to steal body heat. Levi curls up close, cheek pressed to Furlan's chest. He can feel Furlan's heartbeat, steady and familiar, and lets that lull him to sleep.
